Hope heard the conversation end and she flushed a deep red, knowing that they were talking about what had happened the other night, she was still peeved about that, it wasn't her fault and she wanted to march straight up to Christopher and call him names, make him tell Rebecca that he was the one behind it. Though, she knew that if she didn't watch her mouth she'd be gagged and punished as she continued into the kitchen, opening up some cupboards to find something to eat. Then she heard the conversation end and heard footsteps, a moment later she felt hands close gently around her wrists as she looked at him when he kissed her cheek, she was surprised and thought that maybe, just maybe, he was going to start being nicer to her. She allowed him to scoop her up and she flushed slightly as she nodded, she was exhausted from the activities of this morning and her eyes closed as he laid her down on the bed, as she dozed and rested for a few moments. She heard his return and she opened her eyes and took the food as she murmured, "thank you." Though, she was suspicious of the sudden turn in attitude and personality, as it often meant he wanted something from her, whether it be for her to comply or for her to play along with something. She was in the middle of eating as she heard his question and she nearly choked on the food that she was chewing on. She forced it down with a swallow and looked at him, her eyes wide, but then again, if he did take her friend, he'd be paying attention to her rather than Hope. She bit her lower lip as she looked down, she didn't want her friend to suffer the same fate that Hope had suffered for 3 months already.
She looked up and then murmured, a slight tremble going through her, "But.....you have me, why can't you leave Rebecca out of this?" She asked, choosing her words carefully so she didn't get into trouble. What she really wanted to say was, "don't you dare touch her, she's my friend." But she knew that would get her into deep trouble as she took another bite, chewing it and she nodded when he told her to behave, as she finished her food and passed her plate over to him. She pulled the blankets up around her as she snuggled into them, her eyes closing once more as she soon fell asleep, wondering what he had plans for Rebecca tonight as she shivered again. She wrapped the blankets tighter and slept, knowing she would need it for whatever he had planned for tonight.

Rebecca smiled and nodded as she murmured, "Well, alright, I can come over." She heard slight interest in his voice and she wondered for a moment if he had a crush on her too. It almost made her swoon and then almost as quickly as she had heard it, had had hug up. She still had plenty of time and so she tossed her phone onto her bed. She lived in a small studio apartment, had been living there since she was 17 years old when she became an emancipated minor. Don't get her wrong, she knew that she should be grateful that her adoptive parents, or her adoptive mom had adopted her, but how could she when as soon as she got to her new house at the age of 12, her "mom" begin drinking. Beforehand, DeeDee had been a drunk, an alcoholic, but Rebecca had wanted a home and had gone with her. She showed her gratitude every time she had to peel Dee Dee from the sidewalk when she was smashed, but then she just got tired of it and emancipated herself, moving out as soon as she found the studio apartment in the paper. It had been hard work, and she had two jobs, one during the week at the elderly home, the graveyard shift, where she earned 9.25 an hour. Another during the weekends, a day shift at a retail store where she earned 8.25 an hour, and school on top of it all. She had to pay for rent, for groceries for everything, but it was all worth it when she realized that she didn't live with her alcoholic mother anymore.
Today, was one of her first days off and so she flopped over in bed and went back to sleep, her hair mussed up, and still in her pajamas, she had 6 more hours before she had to get up and get ready to go over to Hope's and Chris's house.
