She let him go and sighed softly as he walked away. Mia was relieved that she could go to sleep now, and she was happy to do it, but...she wouldn't have an excuse to be with Alex anymore. And she'd have to sleep alone after having spent so much time with him. After having slept with him. It was a depressing thought. When he offered to let her sleep with him, she smiled a little brighter.
"Well, that's nice of you. I'd like that, if you don't mind me there. I think I'll feel safer." She smiled at him and then headed toward her room. "I'll just be a second." With that, she went to her room, changed into her pajamas from before and folded up the clothes she'd been wearing. Then she came to his room and knocked on the door jamb, her hair loose around her shoulders. "Still awake?" she asked with a little chuckle.
