Rosalie stared at the syringe and the liquid inside. She had no idea what it would do to her, or if he was even telling the truth that it wasn't harmful. What better way to kill your enemy then have them kill themselves? He had her trapped and she knew it. She could feel a bead of sweat drip down her back.
Biting her lip until she tasted blood, she quickly weighed her options. He was watching her, ready to get rid of her. She was in dire need of help. With a sigh, she grabbed the syringe and jammed it into a vein in her arm. she quickly injected the liquid, wincing at the burn.
"There, done," she said, pulling the needle out. "If that turns me green or makes me glow in the dark, I'm going to be very upset." She sat back, waiting for it to do whatever it was supposed to do. So far, she felt fine and told him so. She studied her nails, aware of his eyes on her.
"I really wish you could tell me what it does," she said, not meeting his eyes. "I'd like to know what to expect."
