I can already tell 2010 is gonna be a great year for me in gaming!
Some soon-to-be big highlights for me this year.
Sengoku Basara Samurai Heroes: The second time that Capcom's hack n' slash comes to the states. Though you may not recognize it. A few years back the game was released and was renamed Devil Kings was released. Capcom tried to make the game different from Dynasty Warriors (which the two share some similarities) but landed with a THUD. Mainly due to taking out all the references to the Sengoku Era. But thanks to Capcom being one of the only companies that actually LISTEN to fan's reactions and the high import rates of Sengoku Basara 2, Heroes and Battle Heroes, their finally bringing the series to the states on the Wii and PS3. While alot of comparisons will be made with this game and Dynasty Warriors I do have bit of a defense: SB has more and anime style to it while Dynasty Warriors has more realism. Also DW is more strategic while SB is more about playing a completely overpowered character, competing at badassery and winning!

Splatterhouse: I remember fondly of playing the old splatterhouse games at my uncle's house. Hell this was the first series to get a parental warning sticker in the arcades! So without this game we probably wouldn't have the gorey ass games we have now. And this re-imagining of the original doesn't fail to disappoint! Blood, Guts and METAL!
List of bands whose music is in the game: Five Finger Death Punch, Mastodon, The Haunted, Terrorizer, ASG, Accused, Municipal Waste, Lamb of God, High on Fire, Cavelera ConspiracyMutant Supremacy and Goatwhore.

Marvel vs Capcom 3: okay I know it won't likely come out until 2011, but hey a guy can be excited right?
Characters I'm hoping for
Capcom Side: A monster hunter, Masamune Date or Yukimura from Sengoku Basara, a Power Stone Character, and Albert Wesker
Marvel Side: Deadpool, Warmachine, Carnage, one of the Runaways and perhaps Thor?

Persona 3 portable: Persona is a great series of RPGs! i've always loved it because it stays away from most RPG conventions like 'have to save the princess' or 'must get the mystical weapon of shamba-whatcha-ma-call-it'. I loved P3 more because of it's life simulation part which I spent hours trying to get my character to date Yukari or to get a really badass Persona. And hopefully since it's portable I can beat it more quickly than the console version (had it since 07 and I've still yet beat it).

Disgaea Infinite: Visual Novel mixed with Disgaea humor and awesomeness... need I say more?
