Saving the Prey (vampire07 & Malomyotismon)

He stormed right by her when she was trying to apologize but she was in the kitchen when he slammed the bathroom door. Though she heard a knock at her front door which was curious. Lillian opened to see Hank standing there with an arm full of red roses.

"Hank why are you here?" she asked with him shoving the roses int her hands.

"I wanted to see how you're doing. Though it seems you got yourself hurt once more." He laughed softly while he stood in the door way by he was pulled inside by Lillian. Chuckling but saw a look in her eyes that made him worry.

"Hank, do you know anything about Vampires?" She asked as she began to cut the ends of the roses then placed them in a vase.

"Vampires? As in the mythical creatures that turns humans by drinking their blood? Thats all I know about it." Of course he was hiding the fact they were the truth and he knew if he told her he knew about their existance he'd lose her trust. "Why do you ask?"

"Well, I was attacked this morning by a man protraying himself as a vampire." She said with her looking over her shoulder at him seeing a serious look on his face.

"Where did he go?" He asked but Lillian told him he was out back and a stranger came by and helped her out.

Skye finished his relaxing bath and dried off, putting back his clothes before stepping out. He was surprised to see another male with Lillian. I knew it, fucking bitch. I knew i shouldn't have fallen in love with her, he thought really angry before he approached them. Coughing strong enough for them to hear, he stepped to the door, giving them a cold look. "I'm...leaving, i have nothing to do here."

Lillian looked to Skye as she was arranging the roses but Hank jumped backing away. "Ok, Bye!" She said with a soft smile.

Hank looked to Lillian thinking he lost his chance to reconnect. "Actually, I'll leave. It seems you had plans already...I'm going to go." He said walking out leaving Lillian standing there in confusion.

"Odd." She said as she moved the large vase to the dinning room table then looked to Skye. "Since you're so keen on not listening to what I have to say. Go, go on! I don't need someone whose on the verge of killing me again in my life."

Skye left the house and started to wander around the streets, he was decided to never come in contact again with that stupid and selifh slut. "Damn, i only get the cock-sucker sluts to capture. I hope she dies in a really painful way," he said angrily as he assaulted a little without anyone seeing. He fed off the owners and started to eat the food they were selling. "But...where should i go now? I've nowhere to go..."

Lillian wass alone in her home now. Though she was worried about Skye but she didn't need someone who constantly hated her and yelled at her in her home. If he changed his behavior then she'd allow him to stay in her home.

While he feasted Lillian managed to get a claim on her car and got her things back by making a few calls from her house phone. "Fucking jack ass. Yelling, insulting me in my own house. Who does he think he is? My Master?" She rolled her eyes as she got dressed in gym clothes and grabbed her things and walked down the street. She prefered to walk right now. Still fuming as he destroys her property and wouldn't back off when she wwas screaming to do so then he turns around acting like a little bitch. No wonder she didn't know vampires existed she preferred to not think they existed if they were little pussies.

Thewalk took her awhile but she managed to reach it not knowing his company had their own members there to stalk new prey. A few noticed Skye had failed but he marked her as she still hadthe fang marks on her neck. They watched with her geting her boxing gloves on then worked up a thick exotic scented sweat while she went a few rounds in the boxing ring. Some talked of this one was to much for Skye to handle in the first place so why was he assigned to bring in this piggy bank?

Hank on the other hand was calling Lillian's cell phone and it rang a few times before going to voicemail. He left a message about wanting to take her out to dinner and perhaps her giving him a second chance.

Skye actually answered the second time it rang, and grinned as Hank answered. "No, i'm sorry little fuck, but she doesn't want to go out with you anymore, ok?" he asked, actually laughing on the other side of the phone. "She is with me now and she doesn't want you back!" And with that, the conversation ended. He cracked the phone to pieces as he walked to her house and sat on the doorwalk.

After tiring herself she walked home with sweat dripping down her chest. Soon she approached her home to see Skye sitting there. Her heart sank seeing him. "Dear god, are you going to start yelling at me and insulting me?" She asked with her stepping around him, fishing her keys out of her bag. "If treating women like pieces of shit worked for you in the past....Keep looking. Treating me like shit will only get make me want to kill you." She said with her unlocking her door but her neck ached. Reaching up as she rubbed the bite marks having them bleed slightly. Cursing as she threw her bag aside walking to the bathroom in search for her first aid kit.

Skye didn't answer her and walked inside. He wasn't there to talk to an ungrateful slut. No, he was there to sleep and eat, since she couldn't get him out of her house. He stepped into the kitchen and started to wash his bloody knife before opening her fridge and taking out a jar of juice. He emptied it in less than ten seconds and sighed. "If i'd have another place to go, i'd kill her an leave."

Lillian walked back out with a bandage over her neck seeing him raiding her fridge. Then heard what he said assuming it was her he was talking about. "Why don't you live at the houses of th epeople you just killed." She wasn't glaring or growling. "As long as you're here I don't want you treating me like shit. The last man who did that was stabbed." She said with her walking to her fridge where she grabbed a gallon of tea then moved around him.

"Of course, you're ignoring me." She said as she pushed him aside as he was blocking the cabinet for her glasses.

Tired with her behaviour he took the tea out of her hands and placed it on the counter before grabbing her by her neck and pushing her down to the closest couch. He got on top of him, anger in his eyes as he released her. He was surely furious as he glanced into her eyes with his garnet red ones. He froze in place, his lips shaking as to say something, but instead he lowered his lips and kissed her. He wasn't sure why, but he liked her.

"HEY!" When he grabbed her throat, she froze. To her it sent her back to the relationship she nearly died in. Her hands went around his wrists trying to get free from him but he shoved her into the couch pinning her down to where she couldn't breathe. Panicing as her hand went to his chest to push him off but he kissed her. Pushing his lips off of her with her fingers digging into his hands that were wrapped tightly around her throat, her heart was racing as her panicing eyes looked up at him.

Skye pulled off the kids and looked at her, removing the tightly gripped hands around her throat. "Sorry...I...You have that guy Hank. Sorry," he said ashamed and stood up. "Totally unprofessional." He was completely embarassed, he shouldn't have done that. Not only their 'relationship', if one could call it like that, was rocky as hell, but might have surely cracked the ice.

"I TOLD YOU TREATING ME LIKE TRASH WASN'T GOING TO GET ME!" She snapped at him in a paniced voice. Scrambling off the couch to get some distance between them. Once she calmed down the word Hank sank in. "What...What about Hank? Also why does it matter if he's a friend?" She asked not realizing he stole her cell phone and crushed it when Hank tried to get her back in a blunt way.

"Hank...he was here with flowers and stuff. I'm sorry...I won't try to touch you again. Mind if just stay there until i can find a way to afford a place to sleep?" he asked. His cheeks were red and it felt awkard since his face was completely pale. His red eyes stared at the floor in shame.

"I tried talking to you but you ignored me...The last man who choked me is in jail with a scar to remember me by." She said with her rubbing her neck as she trembled. "Why do you think I kept telling you if you are trying to get to me try another way of communicating than treating me like trash." Slowly she sat on the floor.

"As for Hank....He and I dated some time ago. He didn't like the fact I didn't need him for anything so I broke up with him but kept him as a friend. Him bringing flowers is his way of being sweet without studdering." She said with her getting to her feet pale as a ghost. "You're more than welcomed to stay here. I may actually need you...Whoever you are. If your company is hunting me and I can't fight vampires." She said as she went to her bag in her bedroom trying to find her cell phone but noticed it wasn't in there, it wasn't in her purse or anywhere in the house. She stopped and looked at Skye. "Did you take my cell phone?"

Skye nodded as he listened to everything she had to tell him. "Then i guess i'll gladly protect you at the price of just having a play to stay at. Thank you. And...about your phone. Uhmm...yes, i took it and Hank called you and told you that he wanted to go and have dinner with you and to come back with you, that you were important to him. Sorry that i broke it in a fit of fury. I have one, i can give it to you," he said and took his phone out. He gave it to her and sighed.

Looking down at his phone as he handed it to her but smiled softly with her handing it back to him. "Nah, take your phone back. What did you tell him?" She asked in a curious tone as she went grabbing the glass he took from him and sipped from it. Thank god there was honey in it to soothe her throat.

She nearly spit the tea out of her mouth when she heard what he said. "You told him that? Thank you. He's a good guy but he has a Hero complex to the point he will be killed in the line of duty." She said with a weak smile. "Also I don't have the heart to break his heart again."

"Oh," he exclaimed uninterested as he looked at her. "Well, if i said that you were my girlfriend, would you be glad to go out with me?" he asked with a small smile as he sat next to her and held her hand with love.

He took her by shock once more as he took her hand into his own and talking about if she was his girlfriend. She was mixed up as he saved her and yet treated her like trash. "Why did you act towards me like you did?" She asked softly as she wasn't going to answer his question as he would be answering it himself shortly. "Don't get me wrong I'm grateful you didn't tak eme in or allowed the other vampire to take me. But the whole, I'm leaving bit then the agressive behavior and ignoring me. I'm not the type of woman who loves to be treated like a slut and keeps coming back to it. I like being treated like a lady with respect."

Skye sighed and shook his head. "It's ok, i'm sorry...i'm really stupid for asking you that. I'll be upstairs if you need me," he said, hiding that he was in fact boiling in anger at himself. He left her there and walked up and to the first room he found, which happened to be her own room. He laid on the bed, really tired, and slowy started to fall asleep.

Sighing as she just wanted time to get to know him and see who he truely is. Getting up she locked the doors and windows. Once everything was locked up she went to her room to see he was sleeping in her bed. "You don't like to give up do you." She whispered softly then returned down stairs where she slept on the couch. The day was long and tiring as she was up and in the shower getting ready for work.
