Neko Love (Malomyotismon & Alexander May)

Alex pulled his wife into his arms as he kissed her. "They're wrong. We'll find a way no matter what they say. They don't know anything about nekos."

Rheager gently wiped away Taagan's tears as he got her a glass of water, gently helping her sip from the glass. "Shhhh....stop talking love....it's not your fault. It's really not."

John looked over at Morgan, moving to kiss her gently. "She is....she'll get through it. You know she will." He squeezed her hand as he looked into her eyes.

Robert sighed as he started up the stairs with Ghost following behind him. "Let's go outside now boy."

Halley looked at him in a tearful way. "But she's getting worse and worse. Yesterday, she puked some flesh, blood and food. I don't want her to die, not at all," she cried,

Teagan's jaw trembled and she sipped the water, her emerald green eyes had slowly turned into a darker shade, a sign that she was in fact dying.

Morgan got away from her brother and smacked one of her books into the mirror, breaking it into pieces. "I'm a fucking useless shit! I have a brain of gold and i can't even save my own sister!" she screamed, using profanities for the first time.

Alexis finished the heavenly music from her flute and started to play a heart-breaking one, it was truly sad.

Alex held his sister tight in his arms. "She won't. No matter what it takes I will make sure she survives this. I will find a cure."

Rheager smiled sadly as he held his sister's hand in his, looking into her eyes. He could try and kid himself but she was dieing. All he knew for sure was that he loved her.

John looked at Morgan and made her look at him. "Hey...listen to me. You are not useless. You just haven't found the right things yet. I know you can do it."

Robert sighed as he and Ghost came outside, greeted by the greivous tones of Alexis's song. "She's going to live....I know she will. She loves him to much to give up."

Halley was crying uncontrolably. "My baby girl...she...no...i love her so much..."

Teagan opened her mouth to speak, but instead a stream of blood ran down her lips. She dropped the picture as it landed on the floor, the glass shattering to pieces. Her chest flattened and she stopped breathing.

Morgan laid on the bed, clawing the sheets in a fit of rage. "I'm useless!!! My little sis is dying, and i couldn't do anything.

Alexis looked at him as she cried tears of sadness. "No. We can't fool death..."

Alex held his sister tight in his arms, his own face glistening from tears as he did. If he had a choice, he would rather it be him than her.

Rheager immediately moved to pick up the wash rag on the nightstand and clean her up before realizing with a chill she wasn't breathing. Some part of him knew it was pointless as he pressed his lips to her, wanting to give her the air she needed to breath as tears trailed down his cheek.

"Morgan listen to me. You're not us-did you hear that?" John's ear stood up in attention to the sound of glass breaking, surprised and worried.

Robert pulled her into his arms as he held her tight, wiping away both their tears. "Why Teagan? Why couldn't it have been another of us? Out of all of us I deserved this most." Teagan definitely didn't.

Halley hugged him back. She felt unsafe without him, her sick daughter brought her over the edge as she was in a severe depression.

Teagan eventually woke up and breathed deeply, he had actually sent air into her airless lungs. "Bro-th...you...save...m..." she said as she reached a hand to his cheek and rubbed it with love before it fell down. She was useless without someone to help her.
Morgan looked at him and rose her ears, she had listened to the loud crack. "I won't interrupt Rheagar and Teagan, he is through the worst moment of her life."

Alexis looked at him and shook her head. "Teagan was the kindest of us, the nicest...the most beautiful. Teagan, my sweet sister, I deserve such fate."

Alex held his sister tight against him. No matter what he said he was just as stressed as his wife, the only thing stopping him from showing it was his duty to his family.

Rheager smiled through his tears as he shook lightly, holding his love in his arms. " I love you...." Before she could answer, he put a finger to her lips and just held her. He already knew she loved him, she didn't need to spend her energy to tell him. He blamed himself for her condition. The disease had been dormant for fifteen years, than after he had sex with her it started to affect her. He had made himself believe it was his fault his love was dieing.

John nodded as he looked at his sister. "Alright...now listen to me you're not useless. Those doctors are useless. I'm useless. What did I do when I first learned about it? Play games. I'm an ass."

Robert shook his head as he kissed Alexis gently. "No. You didn't deserve it either."

Halley started to make dinner and sighed. All of the kids had gone to school since Teagan became ill. Except Rheager, he hadn't gone to school since Teagan's incident, and he rarely left her side.

Teagan looked at him and kissed his finger, her love to him was far beyond limits. A few tears rolled down her cheek as she looked at the beautiful photo on the floor, surrounded by all the glass.

Morgan looked at him and frowned. "The reason why were all in our games is because if we pay attention to Teagan, we'll fall in a depression like mom."

Alexis patted Ghost's head and looked at her brother. "It's unfair that such a cute, innocent and kind thing is leaving this world."

Alex sighed as he moved into the kitchen to pick up the phone, dialing a number from memory. "Hey Violet....have you found anything?"

Rheager leaned down and picked the picture up, gently handing it to her as he kissed her, his face glistening with tears. Even though he knew her disease wasn't transferable, some part of him wished he'd catch it. He wouldn't have to be separated from her then.

John sighed as he moved to look out the window. "I'm so useless....I can't do a thing and my sister is dieing."

Robert nodded as he looked at Alexis. "Yes....that much at least is true."

Violet sighed sadly. "No, Alex. I'm sorry to tell you but i haven't been able to find a cure. Their body and inner functions are a lot more complex than ours."

Teagan forced a smile and looked at her. Why had it to happen to the kindest neko on earth? She had just fulfilled the fantasy of her brother as her boyfriend...

Morgan slapped him. "Stop saying that and keep playing. It's the only way to keep our minds off."

Alexis kissed his lips. "And the fact that she isn't very strong hurts..."

Alex sighed but wasnt surprised before he spoke again. "What about that one you told me about?" He was talking about a cure she'd designed. The only problem was it wasn't really a cure. It just gave her more time and strength, and by Violet's estimate would give her another month to live. More time to find an actual cure. "Is it ready?" She just needed to do a few more remixes that should take about a day.

Rheager held her in his arms as he kissed her gently, tears flowing down his cheeks before he spoke. "Do you want me to sing you a song? Just tap me if you do." It was easier for her to do that then talk now.

John gently rubbed his cheek before he sighed. "Yea...I guess you're right."

Robert smiled softly at the sight of her getting along with Ghost before answering. "I know....I just wish I could save her "

"Oh...about that...i just tested in a cat, and his heart stopped, then i tested it in a human and his lungs died. I have to make it better, but i guess it will take another week i think. Please, i'm sorry to dissapoint you, but the only neko are from your family, and we can't risk them to test fatal experiments," she said worried.

Teagan tapped once as she forced her lips to smile. She loved to hear his beautiful songs.

Morgan started to do some math homework to dry and avoid thinking about her beautiful sister slowly dying.

Alexis hugged him as she rubbed Ghost's chin. Her tail wiggled to her sides as she kissed her brother. "I love you...maybe we should do something happy to avoid thinking about her," she said, touching his crotch.

He sighed before he answered her. "It's fine....I understand."

Rheager kissed her gently before he moved to put a CD in his radio, and then picking up his guitar. All of the songs he owned had been edited so that the vocals and guitar parts were removed. As the music started, he started to play his guitar. This time he wasn't using his own song as he took a deep breath. "There's an old town wrought with history of Tom the Poet and his Muse and a magic lake which gave a life to the words the poet used..........now the muse she was his happiness and he rhymed about her grace, and told stories of treasures deep beneath the blackened waves." His voice and music were more than loud enough for all his neko siblings to hear.

John sighed as he started to play his game again, trying to drive away thoughts of his sister during and his brother watching helplessly.

Robert smiled as she played with Ghost, kissing her as she faced him. When he heard his suggestion he hesitated for a moment before he nodded. "Alright."

Violet sighed. "I'm sorry...we are trying the best we can. I know it's hard to lose a kid, i lost my son..."

Teagan was crying as she heard one of the most beautiful songs she ever heard. "Sis...lo...lov...b-broth...er..."

Morgan listened to the song and cleaned her tearful eyes with a handkerchief. "Teagan...you were the best..."

Alexis sighed as he took a moment to talk. "Listen, it's ok if you don't want to...in fact, we are dealing with hard times. I just wanted to relieve stress."

"I know.....just....thanks. I gotta go now." Alex sighed as he hung up and closed his eyes.

Rheager looked at his sister with tears in his eyes. "I know...." He said it in the break between words before he continued with the song. Usually he'd close his eyes and get a feel of the music...but he was afraid to. "Till in the stillness of one dawn still in it's mystic crown, the muse she went down to the lake and in the waves she drowned. And now to see your love set free....you will need the witches cabin key....find the lady of the light gone mad with the night that's how you reshape destiny....the Poet came down to the lake to call out to his dear, when there was no answer he was overcome with fear. He searched in vain for his treasure lost and to soon the night would fall, and only his own echo would wail back as his call......and when he swore to bring back his love by stories he'd create, nightmares shifted in their sleep in the darkness of the lake." His tears increased as he sang.

John held back tears as his brother's song increased in tempo. It should of been him not Teagan. She didn't deservre this...not nearly as much.... "As I do..." He spoke his thoughts allowed with a sigh.

Robert shook his head as he kissed Alexis deeply, helping her out of her shirt as he tried to block out his brother's song. "I want to."

Halley finished dinner and the plates were already served, the food on the plates and the table already settled. However, she was staring at a family picture. Teagan had always been on Rheagar's arms or near him, and they looked really happy together. "My sweet baby...How can this happen to you...?" she asked herself crying.

Teagan's cheeks went red and she smiled for the last time before her heart stopped, her lungs flattened as she had suffered a sudden heart attack. She died inmediatly.

Morgan torn one of her most important notebooks appart. Tears wet her face completely as she looked at her brother. "It's not fair!!!!!!" she screamed.

Alexis blushed and kissed his lips. They had to get the thoughts of her sister out of her head one way or another.

Alex moved into the kitchen, leaning on the counter as he looked out the window. "Why......what did she do to deserve this?" He'd never been very religious, and if anything this made him doubt it even more.

Rheager choked and he cut off in the middle of the song, the music still playing as he saw her stop breathing again. He couldn't see straight through his tears as he threw the guitar, smashing it against the wall. He stepped over to the bed, pulling his sister into his arms one last times as he looked down at her. He closed his eyes as he held her against him, speaking his last words to her seconds too late. "I love you Teagan....goodbye." The sound of the music continued through the house, just without his voice and the guitar now. It was all his family would need to hear to know. He'd never stopped in the middle of a song before.

John pulled his sister into his arms as he kissed her, tears rolling down his cheek as he looked down at her. "I know it's not..."

Robert deepened the kiss with Alexis as he helped her out of the rest of their clothes, tears wetting his cheek as he did.

Halley and the kids heard how Rheagar stopped singing. Halley stood up and hugged her brother as she cried loudly, her tears falling on his shirt as she couldn't take the pain anymore. "Teagan! My baby!!!"

Teagan's little and fragile pale body laid on her brother's arms. The love within them was too much for someone to comprehend.

Morgan heard the lyrics stopped and she screamed. "No!!!! Teagan!!!! No!!! You mustn't die!!!" she cried as she pushed him away and clawed the sheets.

Alexis whined and pulled away, falling on the grass. "No...My sister...she shouldn't have died. That was a mistake. Stupid God!"

Alex held Halley as tight as he could, tears running down his cheeks as he did. "Teagan....no.........why?"

As his family all had their own reactions, each of different sizes and types Rheager didn't move. He just tightened his grip on her as tears rolled down his cheeks. Physically the onoy one to die was Teagan. Mentally....Rheager was dead to.

John fell backwards stunned as he stared up at the roof, not believing it. "No....no....she....she can't be.....no!" The roof blurred and lost focus as he cried hard.

Robert looked at the house confused, as if not understanding what had happened before he fell to his knees, his face full of disbelief and sorrow. He made no sound, but his grief as obvious, and when Ghost howled even it sounded sad and hollow.

A week later...

The family had been devastated by the death of their most loved girl. She had been buried in the closest cemetery. Violet had gone through a sever depression as she hadn't been able to save her life.
All of the kids had been pushed to go to school, even Rheagar. If they wouldn't go to school, they would get in serious trouble. Rheagar had seemed to react normally again like his fellow sibblings. Morgan and Alexis were devastated by the death of the most innocent being they had ever met.

It was 1:30 PM, Halley was at home, reading some stuff on her computer as she waited for her kids to arrive. Everyone had overcame in certain degree Teagan's death, but the fact of how unfair it was still remained.

One of the jocks who always messed with Teagan approached Rheagar on his locker along with his fellow friends and looked at the stupid neko boy. "Where is your shy and silly sister? Oh right, in hell for being a monstrosity!" he laughed with his friends. Little did he know he had unleashed a beast.

Over the week Robert, John, and Alex had accepted the fact that Teagan was dead. They were still aad at moments but for the most part life was normal for them again. For Rheager it was different. He was broken and that wouldn't change. He seemed normal when his family saw him, but when he was alone he was hollow and empty. Some part of him had died with his girlfriend, and he wasn't the same. He had thrown out all his music stuff, and when his father had offered to buy him a new guitar he'd declined.

At the moment John and Robert were each at their lockers getting what they needed. Rheager was to until some jock made a really bad mistake. He'd been pretty unstable hiding his feelings at all, and his taunting was enough to break through the sham that his family saw. His nails had sharpened into claws before he even had time to think, his teeth also sharpening as he turned and punched the jock right in his nose. Surprisingly he broke his nose and caused him to stumble backwards and fall over. That now left the unstable neko with the jock's friends, still plenty pissed as he spoke to the joke who was, at the moment, still conscious. "Don't you ever fucking talk about her or I'll personally rip out your throat and feed it to your buddies here."

The jock fell backwards and held his nose. It was completely broken and wouldn't fix in time, it required some surgery. "You freak!!!" the scaredy jock said and left with his friends. People looked at him rather curious before breaking up and parting ways. Morgan was looking at them from afar along with Alexis. They were quite scared of their brother. They had forcefuly accepted Teagan's fate, but Rheagar had taken the worst part of them all. His girlfriend and sister had died on his arms.
Morgan approached John and sighed. "Everything ok?" she asked worried.

Rheager slammed his locker shut as he left the school and headed back home. He didn't care if he'd get in trouble or not.

John sighed as he watched Rheager before turning to look at Morgan. "Well...I'm managing. Rheager...." he sighed again. "I don't know about him."

Robert watches his brother leave before moving back to Alexis with a sigh. "I know they deserved it.....but Rheager..." He couldn't think of what to say, but he didn't need to either. Rheager had never hurt a fly before Teagan had died.

Both girls were utterly worried about Rheagar. He had gotten violent as Teagan passed away, and on one opportunity he had almost punched Morgan when she tried to talk to him about his painful experience. "Well, changing subjects we were ordered to do a work about the Cold War in groups of five. Quite hurting to me, i'll try and not think of someone. We can do it the five of us." Morgan said. "I'm into it." Alex answered her.

Rheager wouldn't really have punched Morgan, he'd just been scaring her. He did not need her telling him the percentages of when people got over their grief. As he got home he went up to his room ignoring his mother as he slammed and locked the door behind him, laying down on his bed spread on the floor. He hadn't used either of the beds since Teagan died. Teagan's was covered in her scent, and using his own reminded him of when they'd had sex with one another.

Robert and John nodded. "I'm into it...."

"Me to....just....why don't you be just as smart as always and we can just say Rheager helped." They all knew he would be in no mood to actually help.
