There was definitely an eye roll when he pointed to her ideas of his work. "Your work isn't too outdated- but there are some things very... vintage about it." She laughed. "Like you're from the 14th century or something." She joked. Hayden looked at him carefully at his last question. Yea? That was certainly not expected. She wasn't even sure how to answer it. Did she pretend like she was already seeing this guy? Something to make her look interesting? She didn't really date- it wasn't her thing. Or at least, no one stuck around long enough to her liking.
"Uh- I don't entirely have time for that nonsense. Some people call me too modern, anyways." She said with a look towards him. "What about you? Any boyfriends in your life?" She teased. It was true, though. There were a lot of men, if not mostly all in the fashion world who were gay. It wasn't uncommon for most of the male workers to be pretty proud of their sexuality, as well. She knew Roger wasn't- at least, she hoped. It'd completely ruin her fantasy... or just enhance it.
"Are you trying to be forward with me, Sir Roger?" Hayden asked in a pretended offended voice. But laughing.
The waitress came by asking if the two would like to try dessert. Well, asking Roger if he cared for dessert. Apparently, Hayden had been invisible to this girl. She glared at the girl irritatingly. Didn't that get old with Roger? How every girl was just glued to him! No, not Hayden. She looked at the man lit by the dim lighting in the restaurant. Yes, Hayden too had caught the bug.
