That wasn't her mind. She knew it. No matter how faint it was, she knew that was Elora. The wolf spun around, about to take off when she froze. An arrow shooting right past her face and piercing the tree trunk not even inches from her face. Lucina tensed, gripping the hare in her mouth incredibly hard as she took off as fast as she could go. Racing towards her owner's scent, heart pounding, she could hear the human following her, arrows occasionally zipping past her to smash into the ground. The wolf had snagged this meal from a hunter's trap, and she was smart enough to know that this rabbit most likely belonged to the person chasing her. But she wasn't about to give it up. Never.
Leaping over a bush, she crashed into the clearing Elora and the other girls were in, not having a second to think when her pursuer lept onto her, smashing her face to the ground. Her jaws pinned shut, and her body straddled to immobilize her. Lucina eyes shooting open when she feel a sharp pain in her back haunch, unable to cry out to Elora.
"Gotcha." The hunter panted, sinking her knife into the wolf's haunch, holding it there before flipping her long, black hair from her face to look up at Elora. Her shining yellow eyes piercing the elf's own. She gave her and the other girls a curious look, as if she wasn't causing their beloved wolf to bleed out before their very eyes.
