He opened the door and pulled her into his arms with tears in his eyes as he dialed the hospital, saying something about an emergency as he tightened his grip on the girl he loved. He wasn't a doctor but he knew they wouldn't get here in time. "No....Lucy....no why....." His eyes were blurred with tears as he picked up the scalpal. He would keep her promise like always.

Raiden had been waiting for someone to come back down before he heard all the noisw, starting up the stairs worried.
 
With the little consciousness Lucy still had, she mumbled the most beautiful words she had ever spoke. "Jace...i-i...love you...don't...kill yourself...for your fault...we all make mistakes...but i couldn't live with cheating the best...boy i met..." she said before blacking out.
 
There were tears in his eyes as he tightened his grip on her. "No...don't leave me....please don't leave me...." They found him unconscious beside her, his arms covered in cuts. He didn't kill himself as she'd asked though. He still had some small hope that she would survive.

As Jace and Lucy were both taken to the emergency room, Raiden was questioned before they left. The stunned Goth went into Brandon's room and picked the boy up as he went back over to his and Sophie's house. He still couldn't believe it, and he didn't know how to tell Sophie or Tracy or Brandon or any of them.
 
Miraculously, Lucy survived. If they had come just a minute later, she would have died. But they managed to stop the massive bleeding before she passed away. Jace barely had any cuts, and the ones he had were minor ones. She woke up in a bed next to him and instantly sat up, there was a huge scar in her neck and she had a bandage. "Jace, you ok!?" she asked, she knew he could hear him.

As Raiden came back with Brandon, she opened her eyes surprised. "That's what you forgot? What happened? Why did you bring him?"
 
Jace looked over at Lucy, and he smiled with tears in eyes. "I'm fine....my cuts weren't fatal...I'm only here because of blood loss." He had one single major cut, and it was nothing compared to Lucy. "Never.....never do that again."

Raiden shook his head in answer. "No...I.....Jace and Lucy.....they're in the hospital. I couldn't....couldn't leave him alone."
 
Lucy looked at him. "That happened because you stopped caring about us...i will always love you, and you know you and Brandon are the most important people to me."

Sophie opened her eyes wide. "Take him to Tracy's room so he can play and we can talk."
 
Jace looked at her angrily. "I didn't stop caring about us. You are my whole world besides Tracy." Sophie had been a part of it before she took his child away from him.

Raiden nodded as he took Brandon up to Tracy's room, heading back down to where Sophie was waiting.
 
"Yes you did! You locked yourself in that stupid study and left us...i should have died..." she said with tears as she laid on the bed and cried.

Tracy giggled. "Bwothew! Wet's pway!" She said smiling and handed him a few toys. Sophie was angrily sitting on the couch, waiting.
 
"You know very good and well that was because I was losing my daughter. If someone took Brandon away would you just be the same as always?" They both knew he still cared about her.

Raiden came back downstairs to Sophie. "They're playing."

Brandon smiled and laughed as he took them from Tracy. "Me miss sissy."
 
"But you left me and Brandon! Stop acting like a fucking innocent!" she said crying.

"What happened? And tell me everything," she said angry.

Tracy giggled and started to run and jump around. "Me miss bwothew!!!" she said giggling. She couldn't pronounce Bs and Rs right, unlike Brandon.
 
"I'm not acting innocent. I know what I did was wrong. But that's the way I deal with depression Lucy." Jace struggled and gasped, reaching over to wipe her tears away.

Raiden frowned a she thought back. It was all still a blur. "I went over and talked with Lucy, and when we were done she went upstairs. Before I knew it there were sounds like beating on a door and shouting. When I went up to check Lucy's neck and Jace's arms were cut and there....my god....so....so much blood."

Brandon smiled and laughed as he ran after Tracy. He had problems pronouncing L's and the occasional F. "Me wuv sisy."
 
Lucy looked at him and kissed his lips. "Sorry...you know i'm like that..." she said really sad.

Sophie was now angry but then worried. "They...stabbed each other? You sure you didn't do anything? Did the ambulance came?"

Tracy tripped and fell to the floor, barely hurting but she still cried. "Bwothew!!!! I feww!!!" she cried.
 
Jace returned her kiss with a soft smile. "It's fine...but if you ever do this again....I don't hold back."

Raiden frowned shaking his head at her words. "No I....I think they cut themselves...and yes....there was an ambulance." Somehow he forgot to mention having sex with Lucy.

Brandon helped his sister up, smiling as he did. "It oky. Me hep up!!"
 
Lucy nodded. "But don't ever leave alone, you ass. You left me alone with Brandon, and he missed his daddy."

Sophie was still suspicious, but she wouldn't doubt of her boyfriend. "Ok...glad to know you are ok..." she said, reaching forward and kissing his lips.

Sophie smiled as her brother helped her up. She giggled and blushed a bit at him, their future relationship could already be seen. "Thanks, bwothew. You good bwothew!"
 
Jace sighed and smiled. "I won't. But we both know he missed Tracy not me."

Raiden kissed her deeply as he sat on the couch beside her. The goth could handle many things, but blood wasn't one of them."

Brandon smiled happily. "You spehiah sissy!"

Lucy rolled her eyes. "You are his father...and he loves you. And i know he misses his sis..."

Sophie kissed him back, she was glad to have a good boyfriend like he was.

Tracy blushed and hugged her brother.

Twelve years had passed since then. Somehow Sophie never found out that Raiden had made love to Lucy. Lucy and Jace were stronger together than ever, Raiden and Sophie the same way. Raiden still longed for Lucy, but she had gotten over him. Tracy and Brandon were now fifteen, and to no one's surprise they were going out with one another. So far they had yet to make love. Lucy had lost her child with the stress of almost dieing that day she and Raiden had made love. Sophie to everyone's surprise hadn't ended up pregnant. Both Lucy and Sophie had tried again, and both now had ten year old girls. Lucy's was named Arya and Sophie's named Cersei.

It had been some tough 12 years, but with a lot of faking and trial and error, they were able to overcome everything; from Raiden's betrayal to Lucy's trouble with Jace. But they were now a really happy family. Sophie still lived with with her daughters (Cersei and Tracy) and Lucy's with their children (Brandon and Arya) and everything couldn't be better.

Sophie was preparing some quick snacks as Cersei came back from school, Tracy was also coming but she was only thinking about her daughter.
 
Jace was in his room with his wife, kissing her gently. "Do you want to go out tonight Lucy?" They were going to be alone. Tracy and Brandon had plans to go hiking all weekend and Arya was spending the night over at Sophie's.

Raiden was in the kitchen with Sophie. As she prepared a snack for Cersei, he prepared one for Arya. "Do you have any plans for this weekend Sophie?"

Brandon and Tracy were outside the back of Jace and Lucy's house. Brandon was going through their stuff, making sure they had everything. "Alright....that looks like everything. I'm ready to head out if you are." They were going camping in the woods and the hill behind their parents houses.

Arya was giggling and smiling as she and Cersei sat on the bus. "Noooo!! I like the shirt with the flowers on it." They were trying to decide which shirt they owned was best. Like twins they had the same clothes as one another, and more often than not they even had the same hair style. They were comfortable around one another.
 
Lucy kissed her boyfriend and hugged him. "Sure, i'd love to...we'd go along with a date and then they would come back to have sex.

Sophie kissed his lips as she finished. "Nope...but do you?"

Tracy was finding more of her stuff as they put their stuff away. It was surely going to be their most exciting adventure so far. "Yup....i'm also ready, sweetheart..."

Cersei laughed and looked at her. "Yeah, it surely is pretty...But i like the kitties one better!" she said with a laugh.
 
Jace smiled as he kissed Lucy. "Good. Any specific place?" Tracy and her father were still just as close as ever, the same with Lucy and Brandon. Cersei and Arya preferred one another's company to that of their parents.

Raiden finished as well shaking his head as he kissed Sophie. "Nope."

Although neither of them were ready to admit it, but Brandon and Tracy were hoping that they'd make love over the weekend. They wouldn't have to worry if they did, Tracy having been on birth control for a year now. Brandon smiled at her. "Great. Let's head out then shall we?"

Arya thought about it as the two got out outside Sophie's house. "That one is cool....but I like the wolf one better."
 
Lucy smiled and thought about it. "Hmmm...how about maybe to a restaurant?" Throughout all these years, Lucy still remained a goth as she had been, and that wasn't a choice to change.

Tracy grabbed her backpack and tightened her denim shorts. "Yup! Everything ready!" she said, leaning over and kissing his lips. This would actually be their first time having sex, but she had been on birth control for a long time.

Sophie took his hand and linked their fingers together. "Maybe...we can go to bed earlier and i can give you a present..."

Cersei laughed and hugged her best friend as they entered her mother's house. "Mom! I'm home!!!" she said, throwing her bag over to the sofa.
 
Jace smiled and nodded. "A restaurant it is then." He took her hand as he looked into her eyes. "I love you so much."

Brandon smiled as he returned the kiss before he turned to the woods. "High, ground, or low." They knew of three paths and they knew all three were safe from experience. One went up to the top of the hill, one went into the forest and one went down into a sort of underground area that they'd discovered was full of tunnels.

Raiden smiled as he kissed Sophie. "That sounds perfect...."

Arya smiled and laughed as she followed Cersei inside, tossing her bag into the corner.
 
Lucy smiled as she kissed his lips. "I love...you...You are the best man i've ever met..."

Tracy about it for a minute. "Ground...that way we could sneak in the trees and camp there...and nobody would see us..." she said, already thinking dirty.

Sophie smiled and looked at him, then around. "Hi, sweetheart!!!" she called for her daughter before kissing her boyfriend again.

Arya was more than welcome in her house, and she felt like a sister to Cersei. "Let's go to my room..."
 
Jace smiled and grinned. "Aren't I? Any particular restaurant you wanna go to?"

Brandon smiled as he kissed his girlfriend. "Let's go then." He started into the forest as he took her hand in his.

Raiden smiled as he brushed her hair back. "You look so beautiful."

Arya nodded. "Alright." She and Cersei were much closer than sisters. "What do you wanna do first?"
