To Disappear (kikora and Z.G.)

Abel impatiently waited on the dark skinned elf, completely unamused at needing to make use of the fellow's service. Now Lorian had leverage he could use against Abel and the vampire rather hated the thought of it. Bashing the fellow's skull in was becoming more and more appealing with every single passing second. But instead of the fantasy of perforating Lorian's skull being the headliner of his thoughts it was shuffled to the side, replaced instead with worry for Teyha. Overworking yourself like that was incredibly dangerous. Without think about it the vampire reached out and wove his fingers through Kaura's, holding her hand tight in his.

Kaura glanced over when Abel took her hand in his, squeezing lightly without every breaking his gaze from the young girl. Her expression softened some, and she smiled slightly, bringing his hands to her lips to kiss it lightly.

"She's pushed her limit too far." Lorian said after a moment. "Minor cuts and bruises... Many old, some sloppily healed... She tried to do it herself!" He shook his head at that, and turned to level Abel a look. "Healing oneself is ill advised, it's difficult for masters to perform." He sighed, and gently eased a hand under Teyha's head, gathering her easily into his arms, seeing that Abel was clinging to Kaura. "I healed the damage, but she'll sleep for an hour or two more before she wakes. Perhaps we should take her to a room?"

"Yes. That would be for the best. I will lead the way." It had taken a strong force of will to keep from kneeing Lorian in the nose as the dark elf rose, presenting Abel with the perfect opportunity to send the sharp ridge of his nose splintering into his brain. That would not end well, though. The vampire kept his hold on Kaura and steadily plodded forward, up the stairwell, through the anonymous corridors until Abel pushed open a familiar door.

The room it presented was large and filled with paintings that covered the walls, obscuring the complete lack of windows. It was Abel's room. "Lorian, would you be so kind as to tuck her in the bed?" An idea occurred to him, holding tight onto Kaura as he was. "Perhaps you would leave the three of us be?" Dawn was, after all, quickly approaching.

Lorian simply nodded, completely unaware of the amount of hate the vampire held for him. He followed the man up the stairs, holding the tiny witch next to him as Abel led them through the corridors. They finally reached the windowless room, and Lorian nodded to himself, before walking to the bed. He pulled back the covers with one hand, shifting her weight in his arms before setting her down as carefully as if she was a child. He drew the blankets back up, tucking them lightly under her for warmth and comfort. "It's my pleasure." He said softly. "I has been a long time since I have done so." He moved to the door, and paused, smiling at both Abel and Kaura briefly. "Rest well." He said, before closing the door himself, leaving all three alone.

Abel gently stroked one of Kaura's cheeks with the back of one of his hands, drawing the tip of his index finger to the point of chin. He kissed her on the side of the mouth. "Now we are alone; we can talk. Earlier, outside the Pit, you said you felt hurt. Used."

Kaura was honestly surprised that Abel remembered that. Her eyes widened briefly, before she looked half away. "You treated me like a thing." She told him softly. "Beat me, forced pleasure on me, paraded me around like I was a dog on display. When you had sex with me... Drugged on your aphrodisiac... I thought it was another way to break me into servitude." She told him softly. "Just another pet for your pleasure."

There were a myriad array of responses to Kaura's grievances. Few of them made any sense when Abel carefully analyzed them. He put one hand open on the elf's hip and gave a reassuring squeeze. "I have not had a conversation this interpersonally intimate with any in over three hundred years." There was a not insignificant pause before he admitted, "I may find the sight of you crawling on the ground incredibly attractive. More over, I may indeed enjoy the stripes I can put down your back and rear. Sometimes I fear my skill with dealing with others is somewhat atrophied."

Kaura nodded slowly, and looked up, meeting Abel's yes, and she leaned forward to kiss him lightly. Once she settled back she squeezed his hand in hers, a smile on her lovely face. "Perhaps this will lead a new way for our species." She said brightly, giving him an excited smile. "Instead of constant war and needless slaughter, should we meet again."

She rocked back on her heels some, a light dancing in her eyes as she thought about it. "I would be happy to see our kinds in cooperation.

"Good," Abel replied with a smile. He leaned his head down and kissed her forehead before leading her to the rather large bed. He pulled the blankets and sheet on either side of Teyha. "I was thinking the three of us could cuddle. Teyha could use the warmth, skinny little thing. Also, I would not mind falling asleep with near by."

"Of course!" Kaura laughed, heading to the bed as well. She let Abel pull back the sheets, and lay on one side of the exhausted girl, turning to face her lover with a slight smile. "And her?" She asked softly, idly stroking her hair, almost lovingly. "What place is this girl holding now?"

Abel laid down next to Teyha, opposite the side Kaura had. His strong, long arms enveloped the two women, squeezing Teyha gently in the middle between them. He pulled the sheets and blankets back up over them, nestling back down into the comfortable mattress. "What place does she hold? I am unsure. But," he squeezed Kaura lightly with his hands, "we shall sleep close and found solace in each other's presence. When you awaken to go into the sun, if Teyha is awake, be sure to bring her with you."

Kaura nodded slightly, and closed her own eyes, taking comfort in how close Abel was to her now. Her breathing slowed slightly and she honestly enjoyed the moments together with the powerful man.

A few hours passed, and Teyha had the unfortunate luck of waking first. It felt like something was crushing into her on both sides, and her breath caught, her body stiffening as fingers played over her skin in the other occupants sleep, inching over her. She sat up before she fully realized what was happening, and tore away from both. Her eyes were wide in panic as she half crawled, and half ran across the mattress, bounding off it to flop head over heals onto the ground, and scramble to the door, trying to get away.

"What in the...?" Kaura whispered, eyes wide as she watched the young woman panic, and scamper like a scared mouse.

Even though Teyha all but flew between the two of them Abel did not awaken from his comatose slumber. Instead he rolled and put a lazy arm out across Kaura. On the other hand, after hearing the crashing of the young woman, there was the faintest knock heard through the thick wooden door that separated Abel's room from the rest of the castle.

Kaura almost got up to follow the young woman out, looking concerned as she ran to the door, and the knocking coming from the other side. Abel's arm made her pause, and she glanced at him before deciding it was wise to give the girl time to herself.

Teyha opened the door quickly, and bolted out, pulling it closed behind her, even as she ran right into whoever it was knocking.

The vampire snuggled close to Kaura in his sleep, wrapping his arms around the young elf as though she were the stuffed bear that drove away his nightmares. If nothing else Abel seemed utterly comforted by Kaura's presence when he was unconscious.

As it turned out, the source of the faint inquiring knocks had been the major domo, Alfonse. The portly man staggered backwards before falling on his rotund rear, rolling in such a way that more than faintly resembled a turtle. "Hell's bells!" The brightly clothed man swore as he slowly dragged himself up. He was almost exactly Teyha's height, if not somewhat shorter, which really put a dent in his plans to scare the young woman. He noticed she had been running from Abel's room but did not appear to have any physical bite marks.

Alfonse softened, "Is something the matter, dear? Perhaps . . . you have been roughly handled and would prefer to seek help from a healer?"

Teyha fell back as well, grunting to herself softly before she hurried to her feet, inching away from the round man. "I'm fine!" She told him, looking around herself in a panic as things fell into place of where she was... In a vampires castle. She took a few more steps back, before turning, and running as hard as she could manage from the man, to find someplace quiet and dark to hide away.

There were not many quiet or dark places in the castles. Servants in Abel's colors stalked through the halls as well as slaves in ragged burlap shifts and short dresses, efficiently scrubbing the floors and going about the day time upkeep of the castle. Teyha was mostly ignored until she ran past a long legged fellow. "Hey! Um, ah," Jass took off running after the little lady, easily catching up to her with his long stride. He towered over the fleeing woman, "Wait! Wait! What's wrong?"

Teyha was surprised when her escape was cut short. She stared up at the lanky boy, her eyes wide. Slowly she calmed her breath, and looked away, turning half away from him. "I'll be fine." She said stiffly, wary of the tall man. "I just want to be alone."

Jass was just barely a man, all of nineteen year olds and still a little gawky for it. "Well," he brought up a hand to nervously scratch the back of his head, fingers burrowing beneath his thin hair. "There are not a whole lot of places to be alone here--but I can show you one, if you like?"

Teyha shifted slightly, thinking over the offer before she nodded. "Alright." She said softly. "If you would please." She told him softly, but glanced back at where he ran from. "But, you wont get in trouble will you? From the way you spoke, lord Abel is overly strict."

"Well," and with that Jass was off, lightly tugging on the shoulder of Teyha's over sized black dress so she would know to follow. He seemed to hem and haw for a moment, "Nominally, Abel is in charge. He makes the big decisions and I don't really think he fancies dealing with people all that much. He'll make faces at the vendors and shout at the slavers, occasionally through a dinner party for some uncomfortable merchant or another, but it's really Alfonse who runs the place. Most of the time Abel ignores us. Doesn't like the slacking even a little bit, but he'll throw you at Alfonse unless he's got a real bug up his arse."

Jass lead Teyha out into the large courtyard and from there through an archway next to the stables that lead into a stone corridor. Torches lit the place every fifteen feet, on opposite sides of the wall. It was clear very few people regularly walked through here, especially given the amount of queer blue moss that populated the walls the further they walked into the winding, twisting corridors. "Now, remember, on your way out--three lefts, one right, then two lefts." That was just as they stopped in an empty vault with rusted, broken hinges decorating the walls. "It's the opposite to come back. I used to play here when I was a little lad."

Teyha nodded slowly, shrugging his hand lightly off her shoulder as she followed behind. He led her out to the courtyard, where blue moss decorated the walls. Finally they reach a vault, and Teyha looked around for a few moments before smiling at the boy lightly. "Than you." She told him, running a hand over the walls once. She turned back, happy that she could get some privacy. "I'm Teyha, by the way. Thanks again for taking me here, I needed someplace quiet to think."

Jass turned to leave and stopped himself. "It was a pleasure. My name is Jass. If you have any more questions, feel free to ask. Savvy?" Even then the lanky youth had turned around started walking back through the corridors; long, thin legs propelling him quickly out of Teyha's immediate vision.

Teyha nodded slightly, watching until he had left. Once she was certain she was alone, she embraced her magic once more, and wove around herself, hiding her from view as she sank back into a corner, and leaned her forehead against her knees, sleeping unseen.

Kaura worried about Teyha, tossing in the bed, but she knew better than to leave. She nuzzled in to Abel, curling into his chest as she let the young woman cool off by herself.

When Abel awoke he was pleasantly surprised to find Kaura pressed into his chest, her breath easy and soft against him. He spent a few minutes staring at her lips barely parted, the slight red flush to her cheeks, how completely relaxed the elf looked sprawled out half on top of him. The vampire very gently pushed Kaura onto her back and then rustled beneath the blankets, finding his way between her legs before kissing the elf's naturally hairless pubis. To do so he had had to push her diamond spun dress up to her waist, his hands absently caressing her thighs. The vampires lips traveled down to her sex, thinking that there were few better ways to awaken and greet the night.
