Serena winced as she felt Vincent's fangs sank into her flesh, but the pain was soon forgotten the moment the dozy feeling that emerged every time he took in her blood appeared. She wound her arms around him as the vampire nourished himself, thinking of the persistent puncture scar that would be present on her neck every day from then on. In a way, it marked her as his, and the realization made her shudder with a combined feeling of frustration and lust.
She listened carefully to the vampire prince's words as he got dressed. It was revealed that, unlike what she had understood, apparently the sun wasn't the weakness of the vampires. That means that no matter if it was day or night, Serena would have to be ready to pleasure him if he so wished. The elf wasn't sure if she felt happy or sad at the realization. After what happened last night, she realized that the vampire was at least a very adept lover, but the prospect of being another's property still didn't sound very tantalizing to her.
A blush crept up to Serena's cheek upon realizing what she was actually thinking. She burrowed her face into the satin blanket to disguise it, acting as if she was hiding from the sun, until Vincent finally left the room. Once she got her heartbeat in control again, the elf sighed, and then slowly moved herself away from the bed. She glimpsed a speck of her blood on the sheet, finding herself feeling slightly more somber afterwards, before making her way towards the closet.
Just as the prince promised, there was an array of dresses already arranged in its shades and length inside the closet. The beauty and and sheer amount of the dresses was enough to astonish Serena. Never in her life had she seen so many beautiful dresses in one place, let alone being allowed to wear them. The nomadic life had forced her to wear only what was practical, regardless of the aesthetic of the garment. After being lost for a moment in the sea of colors, Serena ultimately placed her choice on a green cocktail dress which color reminded her of tree leaves. She also found a pair of golden stiletto sandals to go with the dress.
After washing herself in the bathroom, the elf donned the attire and made her way out of the room. Her golden hair loosely fell on her strapless back. A servant appeared shortly after to guide her towards the dining hall. Her violet eyes scanned around the vast room to look for her master.
