Hogsdale
(It is a bustling 'college town' located to the east and slightly south of Hogwarts University. The place is brimming with life and color and fun things to do. It's filled with restaurants of all sorts, shops of every kind, bars, night clubs, dance clubs… It also has a grand hotel along with a quaint bed and breakfast for those who plan to visit those attending the school and those who just wish to get away from the castle for a weekend. It has a train station, a marina, a floo system and even a special station just for those who like to apparate. In the center of town is a carriage service that brings people to and from the castle if they prefer not to walk or have a lot of luggage to carry along with a great wizarding bank.)

Thomas smirked as he watched Alice walk up the stone road toward his establishment. Even though she hadn't replied to his owl, he'd known the girl would be there. Somehow he just did. It was a knack he'd honed over the years as owner and manager of the Raspberry Swirl--the finest and most respectable club in all of Hogsdale. His women were clean, hot and very available. And that was exactly how he wanted it. It kept the customers happy and always returning and that meant lots of galleons in his pockets and his vaults in the wizarding bank full to overflowing. It also left him never in want. If he had his eye on one of his girls... they were his. After all, they had a job to do and they wanted to keep that job. Didn't they?

As Alice made her way toward Raspberry Swirl, she could see Thomas standing outside. It was almost as if he was waiting for her. A shiver ran down her spine at the thought of that as it was far from pleasant. The middle-aged man had always been decent enough in the past, but he was growing a bit comfortable in recent weeks and it made her wonder why.

"Ah Alice," Thomas began. "I see you got my owl."

Alice nodded. "I got it. I'm here," she said, her tone a bit put out.

"Well, my dear. No need for the scowl." Thomas smiled and moved closer, his arm snaking about Alice's waist as he escorted her inside. "Just think of the extra tips and pay you can bring home. It'll help pay for that fancy school you go to up the hill there," he added with a sly grin. At that, he began to help her take off her coat. As he did, his fingers began to brush lightly at her skin, lingering a bit longer than they needed to.

Alice could feel her skin crawling at Thomas' touches. He was overstepping and she didn't like it. Stepping away and placing some distance between them, she just laughed. "I'm sure it will." She then flicked her hair. "So, what tables will I have?"

Thomas smirked, getting the hint but not liking it, his eyes narrowing just a bit. "Eight through fifteen," he said. "And be sure to flaunt some tits and ass."

Andrew inhaled the cool, evening air. As he walked out of Hogwarts University. He straitened his tie, as he walked forward. Down the winding path, from the castle to the town. It, was a rather long and tiring walk. To say the least. But, the destination made it worth while. Hogsdale was a rather fantastical place. Compared to what Andrew was use to, in wizard communities. Back in the US. There were no towns like this. The best there was, were a few stores acting as fronts. To give young wizards what they required. If only america, had more wide open areas. More rural land like this! Maybe the us would be just as beautiful, and as easily fantastical. Maybe to everyone else, this was normal. And not o special. But, Andrew like this. It was simple, calm. In it's architecture. And, it of course carried the charm of magic in it's stores, and homes. Thus far, it was everything he expected! Dreamed of, and adored.... Until he came upon... This... "R-Ra-Rasberri swirl?" He stuttered, as he pondered this concept to himself. Sure... Muggles did this. He knew because he was muggle born. But really? A strip club? The idea shocked him. He guessed... That he looked at the good, and bright side of the wizarding world. That he never stopped to think of, things like this. The darker side. He wanted to walk away. He wanted to ignore it's existence. But he couldn't... For, a person who's existence was impossible to ignore, appeared. "Alice...? Where the hell do you think your heading?" He asked himself, as she entered the club. The man she was with, instantly sparked rage in her up in coming teacher. Wrapping his arm around her waist as if she was some... Object! He gritted his teeth, as he walked up to the club door. Taking a deep breath, he entered. Keeping his cool, as he tried to mask his face. If anyone here can recognize him, he would be ruined. But, he had to get his student out of this perdicument. She must have been talked into this. Black mailed even! He only just met her. But he can tell such a job, i beneath a girl like her. He sat at a table. Labeled fifteen. So that he can wait until she came by. He was ready to confront her... But with stealth. As not to bring attention.

The air was thick with smoke and the smell of tension wall already lingering in the air despite how young the evening was. Alice was hardly naive to the ways of how things worked. Though the sky was just beginning to darken, that didn't mean that some witches and wizards weren't already getting their thrills. There were repeat customers who loved to come to Raspberry Swirl, gracing the establishment with their presence and hardly afraid to empty their wallets for the hope of a good 'feel' or, better yet, a good fuck. But only a few went that far and typically not until a 'relationship' of one kind or another was had. In other words, the witches of Raspberry Swirl were hardly stupid and Tom wanted his girls clean. He had his standards. And it was up to the girls whether or not they decided to take that plunge. Of course, he'd advise, occasionally take a percentage depending... and sometimes would step in if he felt the need. But there was a trend there. Tom only intervened when it suited his purpose, when he had something to gain. In many ways it bothered her, but at least very few of the clientele crossed the man and that was both out of fear and respect.

The music was loud and Alice really wished they'd change it up. She wasn't fond of the selection. Then again, she never was. It always made her head hurt and her ears ring... music? More like noise! As she glanced over her tables, she could see that they'd all filled up. Figures. Too bad the lighting was so damned dim. Tom always did that on purpose, making it harder for everyone to see who was who and what was what. She supposed that allowed many to save face. She understood that and wished she could save more of her own. But she wouldn't have that luxury for a while yet... she still had a long way to go before she saved up enough and she needed to finish up university and get a proper job with hopefully just as good, if not better pay... Oh, how she longed for such a time. It seemed like a far off dream.

Snapping back to reality, Alice knew she had to focus or deal with Tom. So, she began to do what she needed at her tables. After a bit, she got to table fourteen, a scruffy gentleman who licked his lips as she came by.

"Hey honey, wanna sit on my lap while you take my order?" he asked her.

Alice just shook her head. "I can take it just fine from here," she said flashing him a smile.

The man scowled. "Well at least flash me some tit while you jot it down. Be useful, for Merlin-sake!"

Alice gritted her teeth a little. This was the part she hated. They could look and maybe touch... a little. But it ended there. She refused. Glancing out of the corner of her eye, she could see Tom watching her closely as if daring her to do it. Was he testing her? He'd told her to flaunt tits and ass. DAMN IT! Sometimes she really hated her job. Hanging her head just a little, she flashed him a peek. The man hissed in pleasure, his hand reaching down to grab at himself beneath his table.

"Now that's better," he hissed.

Alice covered herself back up and took his order. Once done, she moved on to her last table--table fifteen. "So, what do you want?" she asked, her eyes suddenly connecting with the gentleman's sitting at the table. Instantly, she sucked in a sharp breath, her heart pounding. Oh god, she was going to faint! It was Andrew. The new professor. What was he doing... here? "P-professor?" she whispered, her cheeks turning a bright shade of scarlet.

Jacob sat in the club for some time now... He watched a these girls depraved themselves, for perverted old men. And, felt guilty for even being in a place like this. But, he had to make sure his student was ok. He couldnt bare the thought of her being here a second longer. Chivalry is not dead! He refuses to believe such. So, by such he will take her far away from this god forsaken place. Wether she likes it or not. Soon, he spot's a girl coming up to the next table. The guy there was a rude, repulsive man. Whom thus far, had disgusted Andrew, to no end. But, to Andrews dismay, the girl was Alice. He can remember her blond hair, and even in the dim lighting... Her bright blue eyes, peirced into his mind. He can remember those eyes anywhere. Even in darkness. Why was this to his dismay though? Becouse he watched as she showed the prude her breasts. Not to much. But, enough to get him going. And, enough to make Andrew want to flip the table in front of him. Gritting his teeth, he waited for her to appear to his table... "P-Professor?" She said, when she realized it was him. He gave a small laugh. One, of discomfort, before speaking. "Who else could I be... Alice what are you doing here? I thought it was you I seen enter. I didnt want to believe it... But here you are..." He said as he leaned forward. "Why degrade yourself like this? Whats in it for you?... A young beautiful girl like you has no place for her here.... With these degenerates. ... " He then took a deep breath. As he shifted his position. Trying to make himself seem like he belonged. As to not bring unwanted attention to Alice. "Please tell me there is more to this then money? You were forced or,.. Something?" He asked. Grasping onto straws at this point. He was a noble spirit. And refused until the bitter end. To believe she was doing something so wrong. So blatantly against school policy. A day as a professor and allready he is sticking his nose into his students business. But he couldn't help, but intrude.

Alice's tummy was fluttering and she could feel a burn rising in her cheeks. No doubt turning them a bright shade of red. As she looked into Andrew's eyes, despite the dim lighting of the place, she suddenly found it difficult to hold eye contact. In a matter of moments, she could feel any and all pride she'd had faltering, fading fast and soon she was staring at the floor beneath her feet.

"I..." Alice stammered, the lace of her corset which usually felt soft against her skin suddenly felt uncomfortable, itchy. "The pay is good," she added, knowing her argument sounded weak, forced.

But it was true. The pay was fantastic and helped her save up for the summer when she had to rent out a place to stay. She had no connections, no friends and certainly no prospects. And until she finished up school at the university there was nothing else lined up in the job department either. But even there she felt a bit overwhelmed. Her focus on a major was proving to be more difficult than she'd thought, so she was still uncertain what lied in store as far as her future went. She just knew it wouldn't be permanent residence at Raspberry Swirl.

Or so she hoped.

Across the way, Alice could see Tom eying her. She hoped he wouldn't come over. That was the last thing wanted, the last thing she needed.

"I... I need the money for summer rent," Alice suddenly continued. Why did she feel the need to explain? She didn't owe Andrew anything. Then again, he was Hogwarts faculty... UGH! Why was he even here? Why?

Just then the man from table fourteen let out a whistle. "Hey honey," he barked in Alice's direction. "How much to take you home with me for the night?"

Alice's eyes went wide. Never before had she had such an offer. Not ever. A million times she'd told herself exactly what she'd do if one came her way. But now, with Andrew there, she found herself freezing up on the spot, her mind going blank as her nerves became frayed and frazzled.

"I... I..." Alice stammered as she looked at the gruff man, her face going pale. She looked to Andrew with pleading eyes and then glanced over at Tom who just watched from afar and then back at Andrew. If this night hadn't gotten worse, then she wasn't sure what it had become. She just hoped it would be over sooner than later and that somehow when the morning came she'd still have some semblance of dignity left.

Cameron walked into the place simply to check it out, he had never been to a place like the Raspberry Swirl before and his curiosity had gotten the better of him. He slid into a booth that was slightly hidden and made himself as comfortable as he could get being in a place that was far different from what he was used too. He noticed the ashtray on the table and a disgusted look came across his face before he pushed it further away from him. The young man's stomach growled and in that moment he realized just how hungry he was, he hadn't eaten since breakfast and he didn't want to stop by the great hall for dinner due to not wanting to be in the school for long, he needed to get out for a little while and that's exactly why he found himself where he was now.

Alice was more than uncomfortable with one of her professors looking at her while a customer was making an advance at her. Never had she anticipated ever being in such a predicament and never had she ever just wanted to run and hide and just have a good solid cry. She was mortified beyond belief and a bit frightened with Tom looking on in the distance. The man was watching her carefully, assessing how she'd deal with things though clearly he didn't know that the one man she was standing next to was a Hogwart's University professor.

Biting down on her lip, Alice finally just smiled at Andrew and giggled nervously. Looking over at the one customer, she gave him a wave. "You'll have to excuse me for a bit..." her voice trailed while her eyes scanned the area in what felt like vain for an 'out'. Suddenly, she saw a dark silhouette take its place at one of her tables. Squinting through the dim lighting, she found that she recognized the face--a fellow Hogwarts student. Merlin, could this day get any worse? Daring to take a chance, she swallowed hard and set her jaw and began walking toward the table. "Got a customer at table ten," she said.

The scruffy wizard scowled, but clearly accepted Alice's feeble excuse. He could see the person sitting down and knew she'd have to attend to him at some point. Better then than later.

Slowly, Alice approached the table and looked down at the male sitting at the table, her tummy fluttering with nerves as her eyes connected with his. "Hi," she said softly, her cheeks reddening. She wondered if he recognized her like she did him. Sure, she'd never spoken to him before, but... she never forgot a face. And oh how mortified she felt just then.

Cameron looked around watching things happen around the place he seen one of the waitresses getting hit on by a customer but paid no attention to it at first. When the young woman began to approach him he recognized her from school and wondered how she had come to get a job like this. "Hi" ,Cameron responded quietly. He noticed her cheeks redden and he offered her a smile, "How are you this evening?" ,he asked. Cameron didn't want to mention that he recognized her from school because he was unsure if she wanted people to know she was from the University.

After a few moments he looked down and grabbed a menu and began to look at it, "Uhm I'll have some fries and.....a cup of coffee" ,he said then put the menu down. He never really talked to anyone other then Zachary and the only other person then him was Kasey and they didn't really talk it was usually screaming. It was clear Cameron was a bit nervous even though he tried to hide it, he was quiet when he spoke and his eyes kept looking down every now and then.

Alice smiled at the guy from school and nodded. "Fries and coffee," she said before biting down on her lip. She felt so awkward. Twice in a single night she'd managed to run into two people from university. First a professor and now a fellow student. Seriously, this day was just beyond strange. As it was, it was horrible enough that Tom had more or less forced her to work on a school night when she'd thought the arrangement was that she work weekends and school breaks only.

So much for that...

It was moments like this that she wished she wasn't so alone, that her parents were still alive. "So," Alice then continued, feeling the need to say something more. Why she wanted to keep on talking she wasn't certain. Maybe it was out of fear of that one scruffy wizard hitting on her again or because she knew Tom was watching. But whatever the case, she felt the need to talk. "What brings you to Raspberry Swirl?" she asked, her eyes looking down at the floor, her hands absently moving to smooth out her skirt.

As Cameron fiddled with the drink menu on the table the young woman spoke to him and it was more then just confirming his order. This was something definitely new to the young man and his cheeks reddened slightly, "I-I kinda just needed to get away from the school for little bit, my day hasn't really been going so well if I'm honest with you" ,he admitted. He looked up for a moment and smiled before looking down again.

"So how is your day going so far?" ,Cameron asked, his eyes shooting over to the belligerent customer that had been hitting on her briefly. "I'm Cameron by the way, what's your name?" ,his tone was quiet and the nervousness was clear in his voice. This was the longest he had ever spoke to someone other then his brother or parents.

The pat was good... Andrew scoffed. A little irritated, by her answer. He had no idea why, but this made him feel angry. Betrayed, even. And, that guy at the other table, made him pretty much more angry! Before Andrew can say a word though, Alice. As crafty, as she was. Shrugged him off, as she left to another table. Andrew then sighed... Was it a mistake coming in? Was he messing with her work life? She did say, she needed it to pay for her summer home. But is it really worth it? To degrade herself, at a place like this... He dint like this. And, that bastard the next table over was giving him the stink eye. "Ex-Excuse me.." Andrew said, as he stood up. Looking above him, he can see the owners little den of sin. The man, looking down at the rest of this club. He wanted to go inside, he wanted to talk to him. Confront him of this, and demand he let her go at once. But... That would make things worse on her part... She doesnt seem to want to go. Nor, is she forced. She said so before... Thinking, he decided that taking action now, was better then doing nothing at all. As Shakespeare wrote! Cowards die many times before their deaths, The valiant never taste of death but once!

He plans on talking to her further, but, once she is done with her costumer. .. It is times like this, in which, he feels... And cant help but ask. What would Jesse do? What would his brother, mentor, the man whom was there for him always do. Would he?... No, he would never. And neither would Andrew. To rat her out, would not only be a blatant disrespect for student trust, and privacy. But, would eat at Andrew's heart, for a long while... No, keeping her secret was the best, and only option. He looks over to the man, and decides sometime away from him is long due. Andrew, walks through, all the people, and tables, across to the bathroom. Once inside, he turns on a sink. And washes his face. Looking up, into the mirror, he can see his reflection. But, also, his twin brothers. Looking alike, was always a strong point in their relationship. "What would Jesse do." He said to himself. "What would Jesse do..." He then turned to the door. With a deep breath. He walked out of the bathroom. Walking back through all of the hustle and bustle. Back, to his old table. Sitting back down, he looked over the menu. Before tossing it to the side. When he gets the chance, he will tell her, her secrets safe with him. It was the only thing he could do. She did nothing to deserve loosing her job, or her school, or her life. Which would all be over, if her job at the raspberri swirl, ever became known. "I should never have came here..." He said quietly to him self. As he watched Alice, waiting for her to come back, from her patron.

"My name is Alice," Alice stated to Cameron, making sure to commit the name to memory. She wondered if the nervousness he was clearly exhibiting was because he felt just as awkward as she did. After all, they both went to Hogwarts and neither probably wanted anyone to know they were at a place like the Raspberry Swirl. The rumors and whispers that would surely follow would be detrimental to say the least. For Cameron, he'd be labeled for sure. For her? Ugh... she didn't want to think on it.

Just as Alice was about to speak a bit more, hopefully to tamp down some of the awkwardness both she and Cameron were feeling, she noticed Andrew get up for a brief moment only to return once more. He looked a bit put out as did the one scruffy wizard. She had a feeling he'd be on her case later on that night and no doubt Tom wouldn't do anything to stop it just so he could prove a point.

Biting down on her lip, Alice turned back to Cameron and smiled. "My day has been... all right," she began. Out of the corner of her eye she couldn't help but watch everyone around her. "Could be better though, I suppose. You?" she asked.

"Nice to meet you Alice" ,Cameron stated offering the young woman a smile. When she said her day could be better Cameron sighed, "Honestly my day could be better too, it just seems like everything fell apart on the first day of school" ,he admitted. He had done terrible in classes and now his brother wasn't around, in fact he barely seen the man after his classes were over and that was something unusual to say the least. Cameron put his head down again, looking to his lap, "I just feel so alone" ,he said quietly not sure if Alice had even heard him or not. He had meant the words to be to himself but he had accidentally spoke his thoughts out loud which made his face turn a shade of pink before he looked back up at her.

Alice frowned slightly. She'd heard Cameron mutter about being 'alone'. Didn't she know that feeling all too well. Honestly, it was almost her mantra... an odd one for a Gryffindor, but how it was nonetheless. Well, for the most part. Briefly, she glanced over her shoulder, her eyes catching sight of Andrew who seemed lost in thought and then over at Tom who just watched her like a snake ready to strike at the first sign of defiance. What was funny was that she also could see the way her boss was looking at her, his eyes roaming her body, almost undressing her as she stood there speaking to her new friend. Feeling a bit uneasy, she suddenly felt that pang... that... pull.

Biting down on her lip, Alice knew exactly what the pull was. She'd been experiencing it for a while now, nearly a year. Ever since... Really, had it been that long. All of a sudden, her hand went up to her neck and began to rub at the pulsing vein as it throbbed with every beat of her heart... beats that were slowly quickening as her mind began to reel and swirl with thoughts full of him and his bite. A dark pact made a year ago ever since he'd covered for her, though why he did it or even if he knew he'd done it she had no idea. But even still. Time had pressed onward and now she was where she was.

Just then, Alice blinked her blue eyes several times, her eyes coming to focus on Cameron as he sat there. "It's nice to meet you too, Cameron," she said offering a smile. "I'm sorry your day went over so badly. Trust me when I say I understand." She looked down at the floor, her hand which had been toying with her neck suddenly dropping to her side.

"Hey!" the scruffy wizard suddenly called out. "You gonna just talk to him all night! There are others here, you know!" He was fuming, her face turning an odd shade of purple.

Alice winced, her eyes looking to Andrew and then to Cameron. Looking at Cameron first, she sighed softly and muttered, "Sometimes I really hate this job." Trying to smile, she then added, "I... I'll see you around? Maybe we can hang out some time." She doubted Cameron would want to be friends with someone like her, but she figured it was worth a shot seeing as they were now both in the same predicament having both seen each other at the Raspberry Swirl. Giving him a wave, she moved to walk past Andrew. She gave him a smile and a nod and whispered. "I'll be fine. I can take care of myself." As she said those words, her thoughts drifted darkly, suddenly pulled by the urge that beckoned and the only one who could quench it.

Swallowing hard, Alice walked past the scruffy wizard, her eyes focused on Tom. The wizard's eyes were wild with fury at being ignored. Immediately, he stood up and grabbed Alice's arm causing her to turn toward him and let out a tiny whimper. Without delay, Tom was by their side and ready to break up the situation. The suave manager snaked his arm around his employee, pulling her close enough that he could drink in the scent of her hair. No doubt she'd reek of his cologne later... UGH!

Thomas looked at the wizard and smirked, "If there's a problem, sir, rather than grabbing, I suggest you bring it up with me." He eyed the wizard harshly, causing the man to stand down and let out a harrumph. When it was clear that he was no longer going to be a problem, he escorted Alice away from the situation and over toward the greeting area. "Perhaps you should take off early, my dear," he said.

Alice tilted her head and arched a brow. Could she possibly be hearing Tom correctly? The man never let anyone go early. Ever. He must have an ulterior motive. However, with it being a school night and the urge beckoning her so... she couldn't be bothered to probe him. Giving him a nod, she smiled. "All right. Thanks, Tom. I appreciate it."

"I know you do," Tom said with a smirk, his eyes looking her over hungrily. "I'll see you Saturday." He gave her a firm slap on the ass as he handed her, her jacket and escorted her out of the Raspberry Swirl.
