Yes, Reese wasn't going to forget that fact any time soon. Sadly, 'getting the day' today wasn't going to be used to its full potential, so he had to cram as much as he could into the morning before he was trapped inside the castle dealing with his more formal duties. "It's beef," he informed him, taking a bite of his own meal as he slid closer to the man, being quite careful of his side. With a soft hum, his eyes continued to search the courtyard of food stands, letting a smile slide across his lips. There were several stands in the area that interested the princess, all of which were food at that moment. Several sweet shops, some things he would like to try the next day... many options, all of which he wanted to try before he was forced to move into another country.
"Anything," he informed him, wrapping his free arm around Ewan's waist to lead him towards the next stand. "Are you a fan of sweets?" he asked, his voice slightly softer than it was before. He broke free long enough to finish off his lunch before returning his arm back around his husband. It was the easiest way to stay close enough to keep others from harming him. Not easily, at least. He stopped and turned slightly towards the man, his eyes narrowing slightly with a mischievous gleam behind Riley's innocent cover. "Nothing's better than chocolate after a nice romp..." He timed it perfectly; people were out of the way, unable to hear their private conversation and certainly unable to see the look in the sweet woman's eyes. Wanted or not, Reese knew it was true and there was a possibility it would make things better. At least just a bit.
