He enjoyed each and every bit he took, the taste was just magical to him. Plus he was a wolf neko, so meat was his favorite.
When he was done he placed the plate on the table, and he didnt dare and take a seat or share eye contact with Josh. He simply bowed and sat on the ground near him.
Shiki was already being broken, to the point he was going to start listening to what Josh had to tell him and not just snap at him, and he was going to behave.
Well all that only around Josh he wasnt required to behave around others, well thats what he thought.
His white hair covered his red eye, and hoped it would stay covered since he had injured himself, and caused a large cut which did hurt. But he didnt want anyone seeing it since it had already started healing, only slightly though-
 
Josh watched him eat, smiling softly when he saw how much he was enjoying the steak. When he stood, and placed the plate on the table he stood and moved to sit back in his chair. He expectes shiki to grab a seat, but when when he sat on the floor near the table he frowned slightly before smiling for a moment. He finnaly gave in, he finnaly broke shiki. One of the maids brought him another steak and he took a bite as he watched shiki. He waited a few moments before patting the chair beside him, inviting shiki to join him at the table.
 
Shikis ears rose as the sound of Josh's hand patting the chair entered them and it was only mere seconds later that he had gotten up and taken the seat where Josh had told him, yet he still hadnt spoken a single word. His tail curled by his side as he sat his back straight up along with his neck, as his hands rested on his lap. He observed josh with his blue eye due to his red one being covered with his hair-
 
Josh watched quietly as shiki moved to sit in the chair he had patted a few seconds before. He watched him carefully as he ate his food, wondering if he was still hungry. He was glad that shiki had broken, now he didnt have to worry about being bitten.

" Are you going to try and run away again?"

He asked and looked over at him, his small smile soft and caring. He set his fork down and pushed back from the table, stretching his legs out under the table.

" Or are you going to be a good boy?"
 
The steak was enough to keep him full for a long time, that was for sure.
Everything now was a bit awkward and new, since he had never sat with Josh, the only time they'd encounter each other Shiki would bite Josh and Josh would get him zapped. So this was a fairly new experience.

-" I wont run"-

He gave the shortest answer that came in his head not wanting to talk much, since he still felt really odd about this all.
He watched Josh's moves closely, as if he was studying him, studying his movements and everything he did.-
 
Josh nodded as he spoke before slowly reaching over to him. He didnt know why, but he trusted his words of truce.

"Im not going to hurt yiu, so dont bite me... Okay?"

He spoke clamly as he reached out to him, his hands slipping behind his head and neck. He carefully but quickly undid the lock on his collar, and let it slip from around his neck. Besides, even if he did get out of the house, the dogs would stop him before he even got to the front gate. Josh looked him over closely, noting how slim he had gotten, and the small burns around his neck left from the shock collar.

" Better?"
 
What was he going to do? Thats what came to Shiki's mind that was until he saw Josh get close, which startled him. He wasnt used to being close to anyone, and it showed from how stiff and tense his body suddenly became. But he didnt growl nor snarl he was silent and was just going to stay like that .
A sudden weight release caused a small smile to animate his features. That bloody collar was off !! Finally! Which meant no more zapping.
He rubbed his neck where the small burns were, great now his neck and eye are scared. But it didnt matter as long as that collar was off.
He nodded his head at the males last statement, it was truly better this way, since he already gave up on leaving-
 
Josh place the collar on the table and looked over at shiki as he rubbed his neck.

" sorry about the collar, i really am. It was my agents idea."

He looked over his slim body again before looking away, he stared down at his hands for a few moments. What could he doto make shiki feel more at home, more at ease? He wanted him to behave, but he wantes him to enjoy beong here as well.
 
Shiki gave a silent nod towards what Josh had just said, well he didnt care whos idea it was as long as he got it off.
He had no idea on what to do so he was just waiting for josh's to tell him to do something or just simply follow him. But in the end shiki was just clueless on what on earth he had to do. -

Josh stood and looked at ahiki. If he was part wolf, wouldnt he like to be outside? He reached into his pocket and tossed the remote to the collar beside it on the table before looking down at shiki.

" Come on, i want to show you something. "

He told him softly before heading towards the kitchen door. He stepped out into the hall and began to make his way towards the back doors, hoping that shiki would follow him.
 
Shiki's small frame flenched, as The human tossed the remote.
It was a normal reaction for that sudden movement, well he hoped.
If he wasnt as tamed as he was now he would of freaked. Sudden movements always set him off, thats why he wasnt very social he couldnt stand being touched and he hated how people would move and do stuff so fast around him that he just couldnt focus.
And due to his over sensitive senses, noises which humans cant hear very well are extremely loud to him.
He looked up as Josh looked at him, for the first time actually locking their gazes. And it was the first time he noticed the color difference in His eyes, which were almost like his but his own were totally different hues.

-" Okay...."-

Came his low and soft tone, he was always using a loud aggressive one, but now he was just calm, and his true voice tone was starting to show.
He stood up, following josh out to the hall way, wondering on where they were going, that was until his nostrils caught the scent of the outdoors, he suddenly began to feel the rapid beat of his heart, all his runaway attempts never brought him further than the house door so he had never step foot outside for a very long time.
His tail swished behind him from side to side, was Josh really going to let him spend time to play out doors?
He hoped so! He really had the urge to run around now, and it showed from his tail, and his expression which changed from a cold poker face to a rather joyed one.
The closer the got the louder his heart would beat, more energy came to his body, the quicker his tail would wag.-
 
Josh smiled as they locked eyes, even if it was only for a few moments. He couldnt help but watch shiki over his shoulder as he followed him down the hall, noting his wagging tail and his sound change of facil expressions. Seeing shiki happy and excited made his heart beat pick up, as if by some magical force shikis happyness was rubbing off onhim. When they reached the back door he opened it for shiki, holding the door open so that he could step out.

" Im guessing you like the great out doors?"

He chuckled softly. He waited for shiki to step out side before following him, closing the door behind him. The yard was huge, 18 archers at least. And was filled with many trees, bushes, flowers, walk ways, and a semi large pond near the middle of it.
 
-" Yes yes yes yeeeeess!!"-

He almost squealed with joy as the door opened his eyes lighting up, a wide smile covering his facial expression. His heart pounded against his chest like a drum, he tail on max speed.
The scent of the grass and tree captivating his soul as the endless sky was a dream to reality for him now.
His muscles flexed, as he leaped ahead And just randomly started to run around, it felt so good to finally stretch his legs and run, laughter of joy had unconsciously came out of him. He was in heaven.
He threw himself on the grass for a moment and just laid there looking up at the sky like it was the most amazing thing ever, like a diamond ring to a women or a new car for a man.
He panted, lightly catching his breath before he got up again and started to walk around, and soon he paused looking back at josh with a large smile as he mouthed "thank you"-
 
Josh chuckled softly as he ran ahead of him, for once enjoying him self. Joah loved seeing him like this, happy and joyfull. And not always trying to bite him or get away. Not that his bites where really that bad. But they were hard enough to draw blood. As shiki threw him self to the geound, he grinned and moved to sit on one of the many benches behind his house. This one was shadded by a growing tree. When shiki stood and started to walk around, he smiledsoftly as he watched him. It wasnt till shiki mouthed those two words that he stood and slowly started to walk towards him, pausing everynow and then to inspect a near by flower or tree. When he finnaly neared him he brushed his brown, reddish hair away from his eyes.

" You like?"

He asked with a friendly grin, thou he already knew the answer.
 
His lungs filled, with the fresh aromatic air, a smile which has been absent for a long time had finally found its way back.
His hearts beat was loud enough to be heard within his ears, the sound of the gently shaking branches created a sympathy along with the sound of the leaves being crunched below his feet.

-" Yes !"-

He replied his tone overflowing with joy, it could be easily noticed from how soft and gentle it was. There was no tension, no worry no anger just pure joy. This was all truly amazing he just wished to actually have someone to play with not just himself running around-
 
Josh smiled and looked him over, he looked so happy, so free. It amazed him how just a few minutes out side could change shiki so much. Josh hade never been one to run around in the sun, or roll around in the snow. But as a kid his father was pretty strict with him. Maybe it was timw he let lose and had a little fun. He slowly aproched shiki, his hair hiding his eyes.

" what else do you like to do?"

He asked, trying to find out a bit more about him. Josh felt something stir, followed by a numb like feeling in hia grion, and he hade to bite his lower lip to stop him self from feeling like that. He looked down slowly, and just for a moment. Seeing the small bluge in his pants he quickly turned his body so that shiki wouldnt be able to see it.
 
He stood in front of Josh, the sun reflecting of his eyes, like priceless jewels. His skin was so vibrant and smooth looking as well, the sun has always done its trick on making his looks more appealing. His large ears perked up a he listened to what josh was saying, his long fluffy tail slowly swaying behind him.

-" well I like to play chase"-

Despite his age he was very childish in character, which means he was still very naive and innocent, mostly un-aware of most oblivious things.
He was curious as well but due to his past state it didnt show much.
Josh's last movement sparked some of his curiosity, why did he turn? He stepped closer tilting his head slightly as he spoke.

-" Are you okay?"-
 
Josh grinned slightly, but only for a moment. Chase. The wolf neko liked to by chase. He was starting to wonder if he liked playing fetch and other dog type games. He had never played chase as a kid, but that wasnt a problem to him. Shikis voice snapped him out of his thoughts and he looked over his shoulder at him quickly.

" Im fine, just, um enjoying the view from this angle. "

He answered him quickly as he stepped towards him. He stepped forward, and pertended to look at a near by bush.

" So chase? What else do you like?"

He asked, trying to change the supject, thou the bluge in his pants was still there.
 
Shiki arched his brow as his curiosity was on full spark, what was up with josh? His tail swished slowly, as his ears perked up as he looked closely at Josh's face.

-" but you were just looking at it why look at it again?"-

He got a bit closer to Josh looking up at him, his double toned eyes shimmering in the suns light, his white hair gently flowing in the breeze, as his clothes would stick to his body as the wind toyed with them, revealing his slim slightly feminine figure.

-" well i dunno I like to do alot of things"-
 
Josh frozze as he spoke, but fourced him self to relaxed slightly so he disnt look so tense. He slowly turned to face shiki, hoping that he didnt see the bluge in his pants. He shived hia hands into his pockets, his shoulders slumped slightly, which was diffrent from his normal tall and proud look. The fact that the sun was relfecting from his eyes, andhow the wind was playing with his cloths and hands didnt help him in the slighlest.

" You can come out here when ever you want, just dont dig holes or anything like that. Deal?"

He bit his lower lip again, luckily his bangs covered his eyes, and shiki couldnt see that he was cheaking out his hody for probably the 5th time.
 
-" Really?!? "-

His eyes lit up as he almost squealed,

-" Of course I wont dig I am not a rodent "-

He said with a slight pout shifting his weight on his left him, as he examined Josh's pose which was extremely usual for what he had learned from staying here.

-" are you sure you are okay"-

He asked his eyes only focused on joshes face trying to read his expression which was hard considering his hair covering his eyes.
He stepped slightly closer, his eyes examining his face as he did so, -
 
Josh nodded his head as he spoke. He wasnt sure of what nekos all did, but he figured it wouldnt be that hard to live with shiki. After all, he was related to the cannien family.

" hey dont pout, i was just saying. "

He pry'd his eyes away from ahiki and turned his head to the side, his shaggy but neat hair framing his face. He hoped shiki wouldnt notice his bulge, being the sweet little inocent biy he was josh wasnt aure if he even knew what it ment. But he was bound to find out sooner or latter.
 
-" you usually stare right into my eyes, whats wrong now? Is this scare really that ugly?"-

He gently shook his hair to side the wound which scared his red clear as he did so, he felt offended. And he honestly didnt know what was wrong, had he done something? Or was it the scare which made Josh unable to look at him? What ever the reason was he was curious to know. He stepped closer placing his palms on Joshs cheeks making him face him.
The wolf was curious he had to know now.
His tail stopped swaying, his ears held low, now no expression on his face, the sound of the wind echoing as he awaited a reply patiently his face inches away from josh's.
His animalistic eyes piercing through his-
 
Josh looked back to shiki as he spoke, and saw the scar for the first time. He could feel his small warm hands against his cheeks, and he carefully reached up to run his fingers gently over his scar.

" When did this happen?"

He asked softly and a bit worridly. His other hand had managed to find its way to shikis hip, his touch liggt and bearly noticeable. Being so close to shiki didnt help him with his 'little' problem, infact it only made it worsem he stared at his soft perfict lips for a moment before looking back into his eyes.

" Nothing is wrong, its just i..."
 
Shiki flenched as Josh ran his finger upon the scar, the sudden movement startled him, none the less his hand was so close to to his eye.

-" a couple days ago"-

He replied, still not moving away, he didnt understand humans very well. He could feel something slightly warm near his hip not sure what it was and better said not caring, he just wanted an answer,

-" You just? Just what?"-

Being a neko, being extremely to someone wasn't a problem, in fact like all nekos he was okay with skin-ship. Thats why he didnt find it weird being this close to Josh, to the point he could actually feel his breath. -
