New Breeds? No Problems. ((Razerwing/Communist))

RE: New Breeds? No Problems.

Lavia watched his reactions realizing he was getting suspicious at their sudden evolution, she took on a more docile stance she spoke to him, "I understand that look that you are giving me, you suggest or feel that we may take it upon ourselves to attack the marines or even human society once we fully adapt or evolve to a point were we could infiltrate and take you down from the inside...While I understand this mindset it needs to be taken down, you know you could have a perfect shot at me or Six by now, we haven't even attacked or even tried to keep you from us. You have had many attempts to end this whole thing but you left us alive. I believe if we are to survive as a species that is quickly gaining intelligence and even a self aware state of life as even the brutes and other ones of my kind now almost think by themselves. The times they stand down when I ask them too is more of a suggestive command not a mental or direct to them. While I know this is a lot of information and too good to be true it isn't, you have a common enemy with us while you work with us you understand that we wish to change so we are giving you the chance to accept us." While she explained that to the marine she knew that wouldn't completely change his mind; humans needed time in general to accept anything as reality it was something they often observed from Six as they explained it to them.

Lavia took his question into thought as she shook her head, "Our species was often able to breed like crazy, we could take over a planet very quickly if left unchecked while we were mindless or a hive mind under one queen, however since we have developed from a different evolution chain we have gained more intelligence rather then develop quicker. When you landed you didn't notice any of our hive insulation that we use for breeding and multiplying or laying I should say as Breeding is something that is coming into play soon...though Six says I have possibility to finally mate with another species but it she is still uncertain of it. Though rather than worry about numbers we have gained enough intelligence to worry about development and evolution. I didn't even know we had complete control over our change but in some ways we did just had to think differently and along with the different lane of change our evolution helped push it into motion." Lavia explained but even herself didn't realize how much of a change that they had gone through since BG-103 but honestly it was how they were now, rather they develop each other like an army or a hunt species they were now evolution was making them into something more.

Lavia suggested caring as she moved a little as he got dizzy but then rested on the wall, "It is the atmosphere you aren't used to it as you are further down in the hive. Normally back in the past the hive didn't affect you humans much due to the adrenaline going through your systems as you ran from us. However since you are thinking, or remaining calm you feel the effect of being down here, we need a little more heavy atmosphere to produce or lay better. Hoping though I am a success we could breed out in the world like you humans do, no more do we have to create a material to develop more acceptable surroundings to add to our numbers. We do want to change and yes we may still retain some of the armor and exoskeleton that you fear from the past but we want to make up for that, Six at first wanted vengence but she realized if we wanted to survive in this world we would have to adapt, change, evolve to suit the needs of the galaxy we now live in." She explained to him more as she put a hand on his shoulder in gesture of peace, caring.

RE: New Breeds? No Problems.

Trystan chuckled, shaking his head. "I wouldn't put it past you guys to attack us with whatever it is you're making. The Predators can't last forever if they have Xeno's and Marines working together to fight them. But then what happens after that? What's to stop you from turning on us, or the other way around hm? Marines were trained to follow orders, to fight for what they are told to fight. And we do it because that's how we normally stay alive. We don't ask questions, we get the job done. Do or die, that's it for us. I get the whole 'the enemy of my enemy is my friend' thing, but that doesn't last long. Never does. And to be completely and utterly truthful with you, the only reason I haven't taken any shots at you or your Matriarch is because I want my guys to live. If they are going out, they are going out with a bang. A very big bang." He sighed, stepping away from the wall, hefting his rifle over his other shoulder once more.

When she moved on to answer his question about the evolution and reproduction, he actually started laughing. "Wait, breeding? Like sex? With another species?" He started to chuckle, leaning against the Hive material on the wall, chuckling still as he forced the effects of this odd atmosphere out of his mind. "And what do you mean mate? I didn't know Xeno's could get married, so that can't be it." He shrugged, shaking his head slightly as he stood up straight again, strapping the rifle comfortably to his back. "As for breeding out in the human world, well that might be a possibility if things work out like you're hoping they are. If we get off this godforsaken planet that is." He wobbled again, almost falling over before catching himself on a wall, coughing a little. "Fucking atmosphere. So, you were saying something about fitting the needs of the galaxy? The galaxy only needs one thing. Fighters and people to keep her healthy. Think about it. Where did the Preds come from, where did you come from? There has to be more out there. And they can't all be friendly."

RE: New Breeds? No Problems.

Lavia frowned as she turned away looking out toward the sunken dark cave, "You don't understand, there is more out there than just fighting or peace. I thought that humanity had evolved to a more intellectual ladder than this, I even fought with Six to have you come so close as to our faces so we may study without too use of violence cause it seems the Galaxy has gained nothing from fighting. You still fight the predators, a society based solely for hunting; a form of fighting though it is more native if you think about it. They hunt prey which was mainly to gain food though for them they turn it to sport. They never really wondered if we, as their blood trophies, could be used as more than just the sport inside their sick game. I have admit that at the time we were nothing more than just fodder, challenging fodder for the predators. We would expand on a world then they would fire down upon us to try to 'cleanse' our taint but in reality they were only fulfilling their selfish desires..." When Lavia heard him say about turning on them her whole body turned to him as she let out a low 'hiss'

"You question us? You have marines that now possess some of our strengths, You say this galaxy needs only fighters or peace or whatever but what garentee that you won't turn on us?! We give in peace, we also haven't killed any of your team in this entire adventure we only seek to try to end the blood shed while we have a common enemy we could build off of it, become stronger. You truthfully stated your intent, I have spoken for the Queen and myself we don't mean harm in fact we have made you stronger. The fact your marines can withstand more means you could take on two or more platoons of your own kind and win just with the ones that were healed plus 'enhanced'. This term we used: mating isn't such a thing as marriage or whatever that means in your culture it means to blend DNA via intercourse your species does which I suspect that the predators do as well otherwise how would they produce? They don't do the same as we do...that'd be hypocritical of their own kind. You'll adjust just let your lungs take it in more as it feels heavy though eventually the air will begin to settle correctly." She ended her mental rant at the hardened suspicious marine though she did explain out some points of his argument she was more human so she was more emotional about it than if another Xeno had the ability to talk, she was the more advanced out of her species to be alive at the moment even more than Six herself.

RE: New Breeds? No Problems.

Trystan chuckled, shaking his head slightly. "There is nothing else other than war and peace. You may think there is, but there isn't. At least, not for you guys. Humans are much different, and I don't know why but we have to fight. It's how we do things. And the galaxy gains quite a bit from fighting. The most suitable people live through the fights. Survival of the fittest. How do you think your species came to be huh? It wasn't an accident that the Xeno's are some of the best killers here." He chuckled, but the act dropped when she turned to him and hissed. His gun was up in a flash, and his face was hard as rock. "I will not hesitate to shoot you. You may outnumber my guys here, but remember that my team is the one with the weapons. We will take as many of you out as we can before going down. You, Six, your brute buddies, your Assasins, all of them."

His face took on a calmer look as the Xeno started to talk, but his rifle never left its state of readiness. "I question everything that poses a threat to me, my team, and my race. Peace does not last. It never does. I have yet to see a race of any living thing live in complete and utter peace with no fighting. Even now, you will have to fight the old Xeno's, the ones that don't evolve because they will pose a threat. You are fighting your own race, so don't tell me that there is no threat of peace lasting forever. You are not immortal, I am not immortal." For a while he stood there, gun raised and pointed, but slowly, he started to calm down. Eventually his rifle moved back to is place, secured to his back and his arms crossed again. "I don't plan on taking out a platoon of my own men any time soon. And we never gave the Predators as much thought. We don't care how they reproduced, their reproduction wasn't a direct threat to us. We just wanted them dead. As far as we know, there is no such thing as a female predator. And I'd like to know if anything will happen to me if I keep breathing this cave air in."

His eyes went wide as the comms device crackled to life again. He was on the MilCom channel... there shouldn't be any chatter this close. The radio crackled with static for a few seconds before words started to come through. Orders. Trystan shook his head, growling lightly. "Fuck.... we've got more marines coming planetside. I thought I told the Marlowe to jump out! What the hell are they doing sending more men?" He stopped talking as the words 'Yutani' and 'Executive orders' came over the radio. "That old son of a bitch.... why is he so interested in this planet?" He looked at Lavia, hefting his rifle and switching the channels. "Squad, we have more Marines coming planetside. ETA five and a half minutes. Suit up, those of you who have been..... enhanced might wanna get the heavier armor. I want everyone at the mouth of the cave in two minutes." Trystan shook his head, flicking the dial back to the MilCom. For a second, he did nothing, other than look at the Xeno in front of him. "You can come. Don't bring any of the loud guys. No heavy Xeno's, nothing that makes noise. You can bring six of those Assassins, but nothing else. And stay 40 kilometers away from my group, otherwise they'll see you and shoot before we can do anything. And I'm telling you right now Xeno. I am not shooting my own men." With that he turned around, coughing into his hand before making his way out of the room and to the ammo crates, restocking and grabbing a new, heavier helmet.

RE: New Breeds? No Problems.

Lavia saw his gun pointed at her, any normal response from her would have a swarm of assassins storm his position kill him on the spot. Though she would spare that cause humans as she started to realize were quite ignorant to the large scale of things. She wouldn't talk anymore philosophy due to the fact that Trystan already shown that he'd rather have chaos, a kind of universe that is derived from just fighting. Lavia kept her cool and that was quite clear to the headstrong marine as she spoke to him once again. "Forgive my hiss it was a reaction to how you are so easily unable to trust a word. Though if in all honesty it doesn't matter how many guns you have, how many you have it all depends on the strategy of how you handle the situation. IF I wanted to I could have all your men killed. I could kill you right now, you a single man vs. a couple dozen assassins? You think that just cause you have a weapon, a tracker, and armor that you'd be able to outlast all of them? Sure your men would come to your aid eventually but they'd find a corpse not a squad leader. Though what I am saying is that you shouldn't threaten a potential ally in the middle of their base, the heart of their operations. It could very well be the end of you."

She sat there listening to his other point which makes sense, peace doesn't last cause there will always be conflict though she thought to make more understanding by understanding humans but Trystan was making it hard for her to even want to understand. "Well, there is going to be peace, then there will be conflict it is always there. The fact that you gave such a blind eye to the predator makes you very arrogant, the fact that we find them enough of a threat to lay down our own devices of attack against you should mean something Trystan. You might have just started working with me and you hardly know I or Six but we don't mean harm and it is something that should be addressed and then you should look at the other thing that could be your undoing. No, the cave itself is just the atmosphere and again as I said just give yourself some time to adjust you'll eventually adjust and the air won't affect you as much. I suspect even your normal marines are used to the air in here as well." Lavia explained more as she crossed her arms and kept them crossed even as the Marine had finally relaxed and put his posture down to 'relaxed' mode for them.

Lavia stood there watching his movements as she noticed that he might be in the middle of some important call. Her body reaction tensed as she heard him say that there was more humans coming, she nodded to his statement as she already had about a dozen behind her though he said less she was confident that they'd keep their stealth if told to. "Even if we both have disagreements of how things should be done, I hope we are allies despite what you have told me here Trystan. I have given you everything that would weaken us in the hands of an enemy in hopes of gaining an ally possibly a friend to help us evolve. Six believes we should get a chance to thrive and so do I, so please don't do anything to endanger us." She commented as she already moved to the cave entrance hiding in some of the unique tunnels created for them that were virtually indetectable though they were if somebody was to stand near one of the entry points and use their tracker.

RE: New Breeds? No Problems.

Trystan shook his head, chuckling just before walking out of the cave. "I never said I planned on surviving. I just said if I was going down, I'd take as many of you as I could with me. And so would my squad, even the ones you enhanced. You guys have numbers, we have spirit. I thought we went through this already. And just a diplomatic lesson. Don't give away all your secrets. I won't do it to my men, you shouldn't do it to yours." With that he nodded, his men forming a sort of arrowhead, fanning out behind him. The pilot, Rookie, and Mac, the enhanced soldiers, were at the back, their heavy juggernaut-like armor glinting dimly in the sun. They weren't made for stealth, they were made to take a heavy hit. They made their way through the forest, Trystan switching his radio to the MilCom channel, following the coordinates before finally catching a hold of the other squad's channel. He quickly switched onto it, motioning for his men to stop. "This is Gunnery Sergeant Trystan Nemico to Rhino Lead, you have a friendly team coming from the treeline Southeast of your locale." There was a little bit of a delay before the affirmative came over. Trystan nodded again and pushed his way out of the trees.

The new team's perimeter was set up much like the old one, Sentries sweeping back and forth, the mechanical whirring like music to Trystan's ears. The three enhanced soldiers stayed back, just in case the Sentries classified them as 'Xenomorphic Life forms.' The rest of the team however glanced over their shoulders at the trees, where they knew the other, actual Xeno's awaited them. Trystan's face was grim as he stood and saluted the squad leader. "We lost a man to the Predators here. You guys have to be careful, there are alot more here than we've seen on any other planet. They seem to be mounting an offensive here. And I think I know why." He motioned to one of his guys, nodding softly as they disabled the sentries facing the side they just came from. "We've found something big here Rhino Lead. I'll show you what I mean." He turned to the trees, and the other three soldiers came out, guns ready. The other squad drew their weapons, and in turn, the rest of Trystan's squad drew their guns. Trystan and the squad leader were the only ones without their rifles pointed at each other. He shook his head, and Trystan put cupped a hand to help carry the sound. "Lavia. Come out, they need to see." He turned back to face Rhino Squad, brow furrowed. "I'm taking a large risk by showing these things to you. If you shoot at them, I won't help you when they attack. You'll see why."

When Lavia emerged from the treeline, the entire squad of new marines gasped, gun actions clicking back and ruffling sounds drifting into the air as all weapons were turned on the Xeno. Even Rhino Lead raised his weapon. Trystan merely stepped out of the way. "We're talking peace to them. They can communicate. They want to be independent of the Queen bugs." Rhino lead growled, flicking his visor down. Trystan growled low, but still did not raise his weapon. His team of soldiers slowly spread apart, standing on Rhino's left and right sides, leaving the southeast open for whatever was going to happen. "Gunny, are you stupid? Xeno's can't talk! They aren't intelligent, and you've seen how many men we've lost to these bastards!" Murmurs of approval rang from Rhino squad. By now, Trystan had moved next to Lavia, shaking his head. "I'm giving you guys one last chance. They have the advantage here. We're outnumbered. Otherwise, I would have kept fighting." Rhino lead shook his head.

"Command said you were unstable. That's why they sent your squad in first. They weren't kidding were they? Squad, open fire!" Trystan roared out in defiance, ramming his shoulder into the Xeno's side, flinging her into the trees before hitting the dirt, bringing his rifle to take out the remaining online sentries. Once that was done, he ordered his entire squad to fall into the treeline. This was not good. He might just have to end up fighting his own men. While the fight inside the new marine perimeter raged, Trystan's team spread out, setting all their equipment onto an active ping system, searching for anything that might hold the slightest possibility of harboring a Predator.

RE: New Breeds? No Problems.

Lavia felt the blunt attack of the marine against her stomach as they were pushed into the tree line. Lavia took action as she hissed out quickly in the air as the assassins and brutes of her race began to attack. It was like how Trystan and the other marines fought instead of killing them however Lavia instructed the assassins to make disable moves to make sure the marines couldn't fight back, as well as take some back to enhance them to make them understand that they meant no harm. Lavia and Trystan might be two different species and he might all be fighting and no peace but she was a different Xeno, a different creature that believed in change.

The Xeno's attacked in bulk overwhelming the marines easily though again they noticed that the brutes weren't making killing blows but were doing blows to disable them, like knock their guns out of their hands while assassins only injured parts where they would fall to the ground or be unable to fully aim at them to do any real damage. This went on as Lavia got back up dusting herself off leaping up into a tree looking over the battle scene as it was steadily getting mopped up quickly, Trystan wasn't lieing when he told them they'd get overwhelmed quickly. The marines that were in the team with the attackers were screaming as they were dragged away leaving their guns behind. Lavia looked at Trystan sending him a message, "You wish to have the commander taken as well or do you wish to still reason with him? He did call you insane just so you know Trystan." She spoke to him as the last of his defense was disarmed from him leaving him singled out.

The rest of the group that was done attack huddled around them and made sure that his team itself was protected as she looked at him more intently, "Anything else a threat around here? I am wondering as for your friends, they will not be harmed hopefully we can reach them and tell them that we are evolving and not really the threat at the moment as the predators could be..." In between her communicating a blade appeared through her shoulder as she moved away as her blood squirted out onto the ground avoiding Trystan so he didn't get hit with the acid like blood. Lavia hissed around as she could now hear some clicking like the predators do when they are near by at times.

Lavia quickly addressed her fellow Xenos to protect the marines and to take out hostiles that were around them. By the sound of some of the stealth generators or even the outlines she could sense from their bodies there was a couple dozen of them that had stopped by, this was bad since she had only a small force on the surface, Six, herself was fine as she had the bulk down there protecting her but if Lavia herself was killed off that would kill off the evolutionary chain which could start them back down the road they were created to be. With a painful pull she pulled the blade from its place making more of her acid blood shoot out just in time to dodge another blade and even another one of their deadly weapons pushing Trystan out of the way of some blades as well.

RE: New Breeds? No Problems.

Squad 1 simply watched as Rhino squad was taken out one by one. When Trystan was asked if he still wanted to try to reason with Rhino Lead, he shook his head. Something about what he had said sent shivers down his spine. His squad was sent first for a reason? The more he thought about it the more it worried him. First recon teams always had the highest risk, even if the planet is 'secured'. But he couldn't think too deeply on the matter now. Rhino Squad fought breavely, valiantly even, but they were overwhelmed in the way that only the numerous Xeno race could manage. "Lavia, if Yutani corporation has anything to do with this, they won't care whether or not you guys are peaceful." Just as he was about to start a string of insults towards the company, a Smart disk slashed through Lavia's shoulder, sending acid blood his way. He dodged, nodding his thanks at the Xeno before grabbing a second rifle from the ground and firing a multitude of shots into the trees. His squad followed his lead, and soon, bullets were tearing through everything in front of them, neon green blood coating the floor along with bullet-riddle leaves and trees.

His team formed on him, the ones with the heavier armor taking up positions on the front, taking out anything they saw. Trystan even noticed that the enhanced marines seemed to have a better sense of where the Predators were, and therefore brought down quite a few of them. Suddenly, a searing pain through his shoulder almost brought him down to his knees, and while he did manage to stay standing, he had to drop the rifle he was holding in that hand. "Fucking Hunters!" he roared out into the trees, watching as camo faded when they jumped, firing at anywhere dust had risen from the ground. Jack and Rookie came up on both sides of him, Jack putting Trystan's injured side on his, the other soldiers covering him while he was dragged further into the ranks. Once they were moderately safe, Jack grabbed the Combi-stick wherever it stuck out. "Alright Captain, this is gonna hurt like a bitch." Trystan growled, single-handedly reloading his rifle. "Do it soldier, I have to get back in the fight." Jack nodded, tearing out the spear, making the captain grunt in pain before applying a canister of something. It foamed, sealing the wound for a little bit.

Once everything was done, he made his way back to the front lines, only to discover what appeared to be the last of the Predators being finished off rather gruesomely by Lavia. The captain didn't want to risk another ambush though. "Squad, on me. Grab as much ammo, weapons, and armor you can carry and head back to the caves. I don't want to be out here when more Hunters come. The units are getting bigger. I want to be fully prepared when those assholes peek out of the trees again, do you get me?"

"We get you sir!" was the answer, and before long, all the marines were loaded to the max. With a brief glimpse at the lead Xeno, he started to head back for the caves, keeping his radio on the MilCom network. They had to be ready for whatever Yutani had planned next...

RE: New Breeds? No Problems.

Lavia had to really work to push this latest assault off of their area, with her Xenos recovering and falling back she followed the marines though slightly behind to make sure they were protected. While she had the one lead taken with the rest to the chambers to be 'enhanced' though heavily watched even with Rookie standing by in case he'd want to shoot first and ask later. When she turned she walked with them back to the hive as her arm slowly began to heal up.

Telepathically she talked to Trystan and Six, "That was no skirmish! The predators are sending in full assault teams now, they are done hunting and now seem like they are on the verge of full out attacking! I was hoping to have an alliance with the humans at least stable by now, but it seems to be proving a lot more difficult than I'd imagine. Yutani...I feel the same about them as well Trystan...I believe they will make it a great deal more harder for our alliance to even get off the ground let alone be forged. How do you wish to deal with them? We will follow your lead when it comes to the human side of things. Though when it comes to the predators we already have sentries out that are watching for any more drop ships carrying large predator groups. They are using extreme caution knowing how our old advisory is like. The rest are building any kind of fortification inside the cave entrances, we cannot allow our hive to fall it is carrying my evolution chain. If I even am gone at least another can rise up in my place without jeopardizing Six, our Queen. There will be multiple traps, sentries shooting acid and the like, Trystan your team can move freely we have you recognized for everything so feel free to set up your own with modifications."

Despite Trystan's behavior toward her and the race she felt she represented the future to she was a hundred percent behind him when it came to the predators and forging alliance. Lavia knew just cause the humans have fought the predators and even on even ground with them she knew what they were sending out were initiates which were new out of the hut hunters. They haven't sent the alphas yet and when they did the marines would have a lot more to handle than just some hunters. Lavia looked down it wouldn't be just the marines that would have trouble even her brutes and other Xeno would have just an equal hellish time with the Predators when they sent in their best.

While they were talking about setting up defenses the other Xeno had Rookie stand by watching over their comrades that betrayed them. Though they had proven to be difficult and even scared or screaming that Xeno were even doing this to them the aliens were very careful with the physiology of the humans. They did exactly what they did to Trystan's team and Rookie could see the transformation before his eyes as the marines despite screaming from some pain were instantly transformed into something that made them feel more stronger, confident, and just all around more bad ass as their faces showed confidence though a little understanding toward Lavia's cause however the lead that was last to do it looked suspicious even toward his now 'enhanced' men that were under his command. The other xeno that stood with Rooke as well as the operators didn't do him yet afraid of betraying them.

RE: New Breeds? No Problems.

Trystan growled, the pain in his shoulder increasing the farther away from the battle zone he got. The adrenaline was wearing off, and as powerful as it was, once it was gone the effect was gone too. He was starting to feel the damage that Combi-stick did. As they made their way back to the hive, Trystan was put in the middle of the group, the more healthy, less injured soldiers forming a protective barrier around him. When he felt that voice in his head again, he sighed, shaking his head.

"No shit that was an assault team. I've never seen a simple hunting party that big before. They're starting to get mad at us I think, and don't tell me the fucks don't get mad. They do, I've seen it before. And honestly, I never had faith that any type of alliance would be found with the rest of the squad. That other captain was right, I'm off my rocker. That's why I even started to talk to you. That's why some of my marines have Xeno stuff. No normal marine would do that. You've been our biggest threat since this whole shit began. The fact that Yutani wants you means that an alliance is damn near impossible. For now, we're all you've got. And don't worry, we can take care of defenses." He growled again, taking out one of the iconic Stim's from the pack and injecting it right into his neck. The pain faded, slowly, but it faded none-the-less.

The second that the cave covered them in relative safety, he barked out a few orders, pointing at where he wanted armed guards and autonomous defense systems. They had managed to nab a few working Sentry Guns from the other Typhoon, and those were set up with ease, looking out on the forest. The laptops that were used to keep the things running were taken deep into the caves, ensuring that no Predator would get to them without going through an entire Hive of Xeno's first. But the Sentries would run out of ammo eventually. Until things were settled, Trystan would have to hope they sent another team to keep them supplied. For all intents and purposes, he was sure that his company had orders to shoot on sight. He was no longer a space marine, at least, not while Yutani and his business people were running the show. He made his way back to the room him and Lavia had been in before the attack and the arrival of the new marines. In the back of his mind, he wondered if they had any beds or anything like that here.

RE: New Breeds? No Problems.

Lavia stopped in front of him as the rest of them went along their business tending to the queen, as she shook her head at his words it only aggravated her more! It seemed the humans were more interested in making more enemies despite what their old prejudices were! They felt only content on destroying what opportunity that they could have at survival as Trystan already said that he has seen a predator mad! "You say you have seen a predator mad! You say you have all of these problems, yet you still call us a bigger threat?! I mean if it wasn't for US you'd all be dead by now! Shot by your own stupid people that are only here probably to study us more!" She complained as she walked off noticing that the marine himself despite all his bark was losing his bite as she had looked down thinking.

Lavia beckoned the weak marine to another room though it had more of her pods for face huggers there was a spot that was yet open with no pods at all near by. Lavia then began to use her mental strength combined with her natural ability to use the hive material she slowly materialized beds for the marines. Xenos like herself didn't experience this period of weakness that the marines did and they needed to sleep to recover from ordeals during the day, this was one thing she started to notice about Trystan is that he was weakening dramatically with each hour that passed due to being up so late. When she turned around she looked at him, "Your platoon can rest in these, they are beds or at least what Six has projected into my mind to show what kind of 'beds' that your kind use. They might be slimy but I have also lowered the atmosphere effect in here, it should feel like a normal cave to the most part." She commented on the neat beds made for each marine that was not yet 'enhanced'. The ones that were enhanced lost the need for sleep as they gained that perk from being half xeno themselves.

The rest however if needed sleep would find it here, that also included their captain which was having difficulties keeping his alliances secure as he was goading his allies into enemies and shooting the enemies reasoning with them. Lavia despite all of this she is observing is refusing to give up on the human race coming around to cooperating with her and her race, it must be the Yutani corporation! Six had problems with them before! Maybe when they do manage to secure something she could talk Trystan as well as any more allies into overthrowing them, the thoughts like that crossed her mind as she waited for Trystan's response to her beds as well as hoping to take her offer so he could be well rested and recovered.

RE: New Breeds? No Problems.

Trystan had to admit, he was impressed. She seemed to know quite a bit about humans. The bed even looked downright appealing right now, but that could've been from his current state of exhaustion. When he sat on the bed, he chuckled, shaking his head. The armor protected him from the brunt of the goop, not that he'd mind much. "Listen, Lavia, I know I've been hard to really get along with. I'm damned sure you wanted to put a tail in my face a few times." He chuckled again, looking around. "But I just watched a squad of my own race try to kill me and my men, only to be dragged off by what was supposed to be my enemy. It's been a very hectic day. And I've got the feeling it's all gonna go downhill from here." With that, he looked around once more, nodded, smiled to himself, and layed down on his bed. He still wore his armor, even his gun was propped up against his bed and attached to his shoulder.

Soon, he was asleep, the worries of the day wearing heavily on his mind. God knew what awaited him tomorrow, and whether or not he'd actually have to start firing on his own marines. Even in his sleep he thought it over. The Predators had gotten worse, even the feral Xeno's were stronger. Granted they had better guns now, but still. An ally couldn't help, especially if they were one of their former enemies. All the Marines knew of the Xeno's deadly capabilities, why not befriend them so that their deadliness was focused on another race, instead of their own? He sighed, forcing these thoughts out of his head as he entered dreamland, smiling as he blasted away at Predators in his head.

RE: New Breeds? No Problems.

"Sleep well Trystan, I will make sure the others get proper sleep." She spoke to his troubled mind as she made sure all his human members saw their beds, the enhanced ones she asked to keep guard for their comrades. While most did what she told she kept the commander for Trystan to deal with. The man seemed hateful as he was more extreme than Trystan himself she hoped maybe her word was starting to be accepted by them. When she saw that Trystan was sleeping she began to manipulate the hive material in this section to help him sleep. The man was remarkable and she wanted him at his best since he had already begun to accept them as allies. When she finished she noticed him sleep a little easier which made her hiss out softly in a way of a coo.

Lavia walked out of the cave toward her queen's chamber stopping just in front of Six herself. Lavia turned to her queen relaying the good news due to their continuous evolution she could feel Six's influence weaken on her as she gained even more setiant feelings and awareness. When she had finished her report of sorts Six actually in her own way relayed her happy response to them actually gaining the humans as possible allies. When Lavia finished she headed to another chamber making sure their defenses were completely secure as she checked on Trystan and his group periodically to make sure they were not hurt.

RE: New Breeds? No Problems.

The night was more peaceful than normal. It was more sleep than the soldier was accustomed to getting, the deepest sleep he'd gotten in a long while. He didn't know when morning came, or even if it was morning, simply that there was a bit of light coming off of his armor when he woke. He yawned, scratching his head and grabbing his rifle as he stood. Time to get back to work. "Where'd my helmet go? Ah... there it is." He chuckled to himself, sighing a bit as he fiddled with the frequency. "Alright squad, who's awake and who's asleep? And more importantly, anyone got a working clock?" A few seconds of silence.

"Aye, looks like it's 1130 hours. I was wonderin' when ya'd wake up Commander." Trystan chuckled, hefting his rifle as he looked around. The flashlight on his shoulder shone brightly, illuminating the cave area around him. "I wonder where that Xeno went. Couldn't have gotten too far. All soldiers who are awake, meet me at the cave entrance. We've got our mission for today."

Lavia had just a chat with Six as she smiled in way while talking to her queen, the evolution was moving just fine though they still needed some more years before Lavia, herself, would be completely independent. When she heard movement from down inside the caves she knew that Trystan and his group were up and moving. Lavia turned to Six nodding to her turning heading into the other caverns as she moved to them just noticing them getting ready to mobilize. Lavia did what she did best as Trystan could hear her talk, "So I see you are awake did you sleep well? I manipulated the environment so that you and your soldiers could sleep comfortably. What is on the agenda today Trystan?" She asked as she moved closer to them.

Lavia's body language was welcoming as she was gaining more ability to produce more variety of body language that the humans could read as she even showed a very SLIGHT smile on her face which often looked pretty fierce but this time had slight peace to it.

Trystan chuckled, adjusting his helmet before giving a bit of a wave to Lavia. "Nothing too big. Gonna head out to that crash site to scavenge some parts and such. Thanks for the help by the way." He seemed to be in a good mood. His eyes wandered over her, nodding a bit. "I see you've picked up some body language... hopefully not from watching us. A girl's body language and a guy's differ." There was a small amount of hesitation as Trystan's men filed into the space just in front of the cave entrance. "If you want, you can send a few guys with us, hell you can even come yourself. I'm sure there are predators out there still wanting to get some trophies. Or kill us all. Regardless, we need to get out there." With a smooth movement, he slid down the visor on his helmet, tapping a few things on the side before motioning to his soldiers. They were ready to move out.

"You coming hun?"

Lavia hissed behind them as a couple soldiers, and a assassin wondered out with them. Though she stood beside Trystan nodding hissing again to her people to protect the men at all costs and to keep their senses keen not knowing when the next wave of predator attacks could happen. Lavia suspected since they took out a lot of them the other day the predators were probably gearing up for another attack though she feared would be quite larger than the one they had just encountered. "Trystan what are we going to do about your people? Yutani will eventually send more marines out here, I'd love to have this all be worked out in a more peaceful manner. Is there anyway that we could come to some kind of agreement before the predators decide to attack? With you obviously helping Six, myself, and the rest of our...race. They will decide to cut the weaker out of the fight sadly would be the humans. I know that your kind doesn't trust us, I doubt they'll come around even if we came in chains or kissing or kneeling on the ground. However we don't have the time to do courting or long term negotiations spanning decades..." She spoke to him telepathically and when it came to the word 'race' she was kinda hesitant but put the word there knowing they were slowly becoming something other than just another 'bug hive'.

It was true as the predators were massing on an another offensive, they had taken notice that Trystan and the rest of the humans no longer were firing at each other or even Lavia and her Xeno kind. This made a startled revelation with them as another leader of their attack began to source the humans back to where they were being sent out of. Slowly the predators were targeting their supply depos, and other centers that were clustered around the planet that Lavia had inhabited.

The soldier growled a bit, hefting his rifle and shaking his head. "If Yutani is running this thing, he may very well be more interested in you as test subjects..." He tilted his head, a small smile coming across his face. "Unless..... Killian! Foreman! I want a link to the TaCom now. Head back to the caves, get a system set up. I just got an idea." He nodded to himself, chuckling a bit. "I gotta admit, I don't have the best of memory, but when it comes to something like the survival of a race, I can be downright stupid. Weyland was the Xeno-nut. Yutani had always been incredibly interested in Predator things. He was mainly responsible for what happened on Freya's Prospect. His operations caused a power outage, allowing your queen to high-tail it out of there." There was a slight pause before Trystan and his troops continued on. "It's very, very likely that if we can promise that old bastard Yutani a real insight into Pred ways, he'll be willing to work with you. If not, I can always claim to have gotten Predator attack locations from a reliable source." One of his soldiers froze, crouching low and bringing his rifle to his shoulder.

"Movement left! Picking up two fast moving organisms, 35 meters and closing!" The entire squad dropped down into defensive positions, weapons out, aimed in almost a circle. For a few seconds, nothing but the ambient sounds of the surroundings and the marine's motion trackers was all the sound there was. Then, a team of two bloodied marines stumbled bursted from the treeline, firing rounds behind them. When they realized there were more marines infront of them, they relaxed. Until they saw the Xenos. "Fuck! Bugs!" Trystan stood, gun lowered. "Hold your fire, they're friendly. We've been traveling with them for a while. What happened to you?" They got their answer. A large explosion rocked the earth, seeming to be not too far off. "Lavia.... we need to go check that out."

Lavia nodded as she listened to Trystan's plan her head was moving in response to what he was explaining. "Six just wants this to be over so we can evolve in peace and actually enjoy growing as something other than the toys of the predators! Six felt that it might be a little hard for us to grow as independent species but I feel that we have the ability and strength to over come the challenges!" She spoke to his mind as she walked along with them her backup troop staying behind watching out for them. When she felt the shake and movement she hissed to make sure her troops were ready but when she noticed they were human she hissed again to allow her soldiers to relax.

When she heard Trystan comment about going to check out the disturbance she nodded as she hissed already moving toward it. The assassins were taking stealth positions in trees to make sure they would have the jump on any being that was wasn't human and if it was a predator the assassins would hiss to Lavia to make sure they would be ready to attack anything that wasn't hostile.
