It was late winter, and all was dark and cold in Sakura academy. So dark and so quiet, it felt like the slightest little sound was loud. All except for the class of A-1. It was 6:00 at night, yet a dim light was in the classroom. It seemed a group of students have stayed to clean up the classroom, but also spend time with their crippled friend, Katura Sakashima. She was moving due to her fragile condition. To a more auieter place in the country, so the group decided to spend the last night with her.

And perfect way to spend that other than ghost stories?

".....and then... worms slowly slithered out from his eyeball, eating the white flesh and all he could do was scream and rip at them with his fingers. That only caused him to rip at his own eyeballs though... and that is the Man with Bloody Eyes." Katura giggled as she leaned back in her chair.

"That was fucking horrible!" Montag said as he entered the dark and rather drab room unannounced and most likely uninvited. He took his stance far away from the rest of the group leaning against the wall with his arms crossed around his chest appearing rather haughty.

"You expect us to believe that god awful gore ridden story, where's the substance Katura? The suspense? I was bored listening to that crap from the hallway," Montag chuckled. Then he shrugged as if putting compiling his disdain into a shrewd afterthought. "Then again I don't expect much from the cripple." He pointed. "Your something else you know that?"

He paces the room, scanning the faces peering back at him. He scoffs and then takes his position back at the wall, "Besides your wittle 'accident' you have no real understanding of horror, no clue what sickening things exist beyond your cracker jack box, tales of the crypt, puppets and rainbow reality." He scans the room one last time with his eyes and slides down the wall. his head slumped and his hand dangle loosely from his knees as his body hits the ground. He sits there. His jet-black hair covers his face as he relents. "You have no idea," he repeats with no particular audience in mind.

Earlier that day his father had just returned from work and had put out some of his cigarette buds out on his forehead. His father's drunken stupor had him verbally abusing his promiscuous mother once again to the point of some of the family's dinner plate being flung around the room and one narrowly missing Montag. He didn't realize until that moment how much that had affected him. He choice not to really talk after that and he sat there in the classroom shuffling to find his MP4. He place the bulky headphones that hung around his neck in his ears and began to blast the new Amon Amarth he'd purchased off the internet.

Paige was walking through the dark halls of the academy when she heard the murmur of students. As she approached the classroom, she could hear the talk of ghost stories, and other things that go bump in the night. While she was very familiar with the dark side, ghost stories always were something of interest to her. Deciding to crash the party, she enters the classroom and finds a quiet little corner to sit in.

As she hunkers down into the shadows of the corner, her dark, gothic appearance helps her to blend in. That's how she liked it. Her preference was to hang back in the shadows most of the time. Often times she was ridiculed due to the fact that she believed heavely in the dark arts and witch craft. Remaining invisible was her way of avoiding that. The only thing brightly visible was the red strip of hair that hung down in her face.

She couldn't help but notice someone ridiculing the cute little ghost story, and she frowned. Why did this guy care so much? Yes, she was very aware of the dark things that existed in this world, and the next, but it never hurt to have a little fun with silly stories. It was her intent to say something, but since the guy had decided to listen to music instead, she bit her tongue and sighed. Fighting right now would only ruin everyone's mood even further.

Tina and molly who where good friends where walking in the hall giggling and carrying on about ghosts and goblins themselves. Tina had on a long sleeve shirt that looked like two shirts put together. The gray part looked like a t shirt that was on a white long sleeve shirt. It had glitter pink letters saying I love HK and hk meant hello kitty. She had on black jeans to go with it and some black leather boots. Her blonde hair pulled back into a pony tail and she was chewing gum.

Molly wore a plane black tank top with some faded blue jeans with holes in the knees. She had on blue sneakers . She had her long black hair in a half pony tail .

They walked in just as the girl in the wheel chair finished up her story and to hear some guy be really mean to her. They was going to say something but he put music in his ears. So they walked on over to him and Molly leaned down and said "that is sad picking on a girl who can't fight back so if you want a fight me and Tina would be your best bet name the place and time and we will be there and you can chose to fight one of us or the other or both". They then walked away to a corner of the room and sat down high fiveing each other.

Zen was part of the group with katura, and sighed when he saw montag come in like he run this place. He often lets him go but this was her last time being here so he wasn't just goin to let him mess this up for her. Until another guy comes in to makes it even worst.

Adam loved thedark old school at night for what better place to pull a prank on someone. he brought a fake axe and glued it to the back of his shirt with red food coloring and ketup. He comes brusting through the door screaming and yelling like he is in pain. "Ahhh! My Back. Something Got me!"

Molly and Tina were both in deep converstation when Adam burst thou the door. The girls jumped and screamed for a minute then molly walked over closer to expect the axe the blood. Tina came over as well and noticed the look molly gave her and knew it was fake .

Paige rolled her eyes at the guys poor attempt at horror. Lifting herself to her feet, she walked towards the center of the room, arms crossed in front of her. Her leather boots thudded with each step. "OH please! You call that scarey?? That's barely believable at all! I've seen things that would truely scare the pants off anyone, and that doesn't even compare."

adam laughes "Scary, The only thing here that is scary is the fact that no one here know what funny is." he talks over to the window And looked arounds "We have a group of people who feel bad about a cripple, oh boo, Cry me a river. We have the girls in the back that scream we just want to fit in."

The girls looked at him and both thought to herself not me iam happy just the way we are. Molly walked away and said "yet anther boy with a big ego how boring". Tina said not anther word and went with her friend with the same thought on her mind.

Ashley shook her head "Why do guys have to be such jerks?" It was rather rude of him to insult someone just for being handicapped. But, that's what guys do. Well, at least that what she believed anyways. The only guys she'd ever really bothered to talk to before all turned out to be jerks. The guys her mother got involved with were certainly jerks, to say the least. It pained her to see guys treat girls harshly like that. She gave an apologetic look to Katura before sitting down on the floor.

Montag couldn't stand the air in the room. Something had bubbled down his spine, almost tingling. He couldn't tell if it was his hatred for everyone around him or just the ambiance but he had a feeling crawling deep inside him. He knew it was an omen of things to come but he dismissed it and lost himself in the music blaring from his speakers.

There was something about Paige tonight that made him want to weep. He couldn't put his finger on it but it was something about her specifically tonight that was morbid and filled with despair he was contemplating confronting her when the Tina and Molly approached him. He didn't see them enter all he could do was smell Tina's hot halitosis breath fill his lungs. Instead of paying them any mind he stared back at them, oblivious to anything they had told him because of the heavy viking metal drums blaring in his ears.

Zen had been particularly looked aggravated by Montag's speech and from behind the cloak of his black bangs he notice him glare at him intensely before Adam showed up. The moment Adam entered the room Montag got up from his seat and wiped the hair from his face. He despised Adam, mister funny boy was a loser class clown wannabe and at that moment he held himself back from lunging at him. His breath became shallow and the music acted as a catalyst for his aggression, Adam was just fueling the fire.

Then something dawned on him as he stood their and peered across the room, what was he doing here? He remembered the security guard downstairs preoccupied with a bento box and the trouble they can find themselves in. He really was disgusted by most of the people in the room and the last thing he wanted was to get caught and possibly face some legal discrepancies. Crap, he thought placing the palms of hands against the wall behind him. He heart started to race and he needed to calm down. He took off his headphones doing a poor job concealing his panic.

This should be a cake walks over to the window and pushes Adam out of his way as he opens it to get some air. Soon his anxiety seemed to dissipate. Crap, he thought once more, I need to get a hold of myself I swear I hate big groups. He took big breaths and brought himself back to the composed hard ass that everyone had grown to know he turned around to see their faces staring at him probably wonder what had shook him so bad. They didn't know about the months of psychiatric therapy he was going through.

Katura sighed as the boys picked on her, it wasn't the first time she was picked on for being stuck in a wheelchair. Often times some even took it away and shoved her down. When she was younger, she was even beaten and poked at with sticks. Having to listen to their laughter.

They acted as if she was just a freak, like her sister never died or even existed. Like it was a joke. It made her upset, not for her but her sister. She would of gladly left this cruel world if her sister survived instead. She was so young, she deserved a longer life.

Still, despite the cruel words, she simply smiled at the group of people. "I'm sorry it wasn't satisfying... it was something my little sister came up with. She always dreamed of silly nightmares." She said softly before putting on her usual cheerful smile.

"Now... before I go.. who wishes to do the Sachiko charm with me?" She asked as she held out a piece of paper shaped like a person. If done right, then the charm would keep the friendship forever if they all chant 'Sachiko we beg of you' by the number of people attending.

All pulling on the paper and receiving a piece. Unknowingly though, if done incorrectly, they will be transported to their worse nightmares and if the piece is lost, they can never go home.

Paige began to watch Montag, noticing something wasn't right. It appeared as if he'd about to get sick. She was a bit squeemish and hoped that wasn't the case. She moved out of the way quickly as he ran past her to open the window. The air that rushed in was rather cold, and sent a chill up her spine. It was winter afterall, but there was still something different about it. She started to move toward him, thinking comfort might help, but decided against it. They didn't really know each other too well, and wasn't sure how he'd react to her kindness. Something wasn't right with him, and she couldn't quite figure it out. She could sense a lot of anger, pain, and frustration, and it made her curious.

Deciding it was best to mind her own business, she turned her attention back to Katura, who was now talking about a charm. Paige was rather familiar with charms, being a witch and all, and new the dangers they could posses if done improperly. This one, however, seemed rather harmless. "I'm in" she chimed, thinking this was rather cute. It seemed like a good idea to lighten the mood.

Molly and Tina just watched as Montag ran to the window and open it letting in some cold air. The shivered as the air in the room suddenly go colder and hugged each other close to keep warm. Molly stood up and Tina followed as they walked by the open window ignoring the boy. They each took a peace of paper and said "we will help with the charm".

Montag took a deep breath feeling the joys of composure. He could care less about the blistering cold that rush into the room. In fact it made him feel serene until he listened onto the cheerful conversation that Katura had rallied the rest of the room into. "Ugh!" Montag huffed clearly annoyed. He walks over and snatches the piece of paper from Katura's hand. As dissenting and non-conformed as he wanted to appear the real fact was that Montag wanted to belong.

After getting his piece he sat behind the teachers desk, pulling out a switch blade from his pocket and carving the words: Sachiko we beg of you into the table. He liked the ring the chant had to it and nothing else came to mind to crave into the desk. When he finished he placed his feet onto the table and looks towards Katura, "Why should we want to keep our friendship alive, most of us don't even have a friendship in the first place? Where do you find stupid shit like this at?" He asked.

Paige was growing rather frustrated with the guys among the crowd. She glared at Montag and snapped "If you aren't interested in keeping any friendships alive, then don't! If you think it's stupid, then you should get out of here! No one need your negative energy right now!" There was really something in the air that seemed to have everyone on edge, including herself. Things just didn't feel right. But what harm could a sweet little charm like this bring? She gripped the pentacle she wore around her neck.

Stepping forward, she gripped the piece of paper and repeated the chant "Sachiko we beg of you." The words seemed so simple, but filled her mind with dread.

Katura blinked at the boys harsh words but only smiled. "Because friendship, in the end, is all you can hope for. It settles the soul to know that they aren't alone." She replied softly then looked at Paige. "Paige-chan, its okay.
I'm sure he has his reasons. No need to..." she started before the whole building started she shake violently.

"...earthquake?! Quickly everyone under a desk!" The crippled said in concern as she held on a desk, unable to pull herself under it in time. Before any had much to argue, the floor collapsed beneath them, throwing into a pit of utter darkness.

Katura could only scream out as she felt herself plummet downwards.... and this... is where their friendship... their trust.. their survival are tested. Who will live? Who will die?

What must of felt like hours, Katura woke into a unfamiliar classroom, she was on the ground and out of her chair, thankfully the chair was undamaged nearby. This room smelled of decay, the wood rotten and broken, dark and abandoned. Oddly, there was a faint smell... rotting meat and blood perhaps? The air was thick, hard to breath in, almost like it could choke you.

On the classroom board there was red letters.

'Welcome.... to.. death....'

It looked like it was written with a thick liquid instead of chalk...

Tina and molly chanted along with the rest of the group. They both let out a scream as they fell below and woke to a very bad smell and saw the letters and giggled saying "okay who pulled this prank it was pretty good". They got up and dusted themselves off and walked over to the girl in the wheel chair and molly asked "are you okay"?

Katura sighed in relief as she saw that Tina and Molly seemed alright. She smiled and softly nodded as Molly asked if she was alright. "Yes... I'm fine... could you help me back to my chair though please? It would be much appreciated." She asked softly, a dark ominous wind blowinv through the room ever so slightly.

A blue like flame flickering in the corner of the room. Just flickering there, seeming to watch them.

Montag was flustered, the earthquake shook him and for some reason he could hear this piercing ring enter his ears and this white light had blurred his vision for a moment. When he came to he was drooling underneath the teacher's desk. After a momentary daze he lifted himself from the floor; pulling his face away from the pool of drool he laid unconscious in.

What had awoken him was the chatter of Tina and Molly. "It was probably Adam." he answered. Rubbing his head as he rose to his feet. He notice Katura on the ground and let out a sigh. His good nature was rising from with in so he decided to walk over and help her alongside with Tina and Molly to her wheelchair.

"Next time I'm going to let you lay on the floor." He said sharply and he turned around to face the blackboard. He snickered, "Oh cute." He walked over to the black board and wiped his fingers across it. He stained his fingers and brought it up to his nose. "Oh shit, It's real. It's not a fucking joke the blood is real."

Tina and molly alongside Montag helped Katura into her chair. They gave Montag the most dirtiest look they could master at his comment. They then looked at each other and rolled their eyes. They agreed with Montag on the adam part and was about to call out to him when Montag said something about real blood. molly spoke up walking over to him saying "yea right come on Montag you do not have to add to it you know". she took her fingers and wiped the board as well then looked over to Molly with her face pale . tina walked over and after taking a good look her face too went pale . Molly then said "alright this is starting to really creep me out here".

Paige's eyes flashed open, blinking rapidly, trying to remember what happened. She remembered an earthquake. She was struggling to get up. The room was spinning, her body was soar. Apparently she hadn't made it under the desk she was aiming for. She felt a bump forming on the top of her head. "Dammit" She muttered. Looking around the room, she saw 3 people helping Katura back into her chair. "Is everyone alright?"

Her vision was rather blurry at first. It took a few moments before she could finally see clearly. Looking around the room, she became confused. This isn't the same place they were just in. How could that be?? Noticing the writing on the board, her eyes widened in horror. "No! No no no no!!" She knew what was going on, she'd read about it before, although she thought it was just a story to caution new witches of the dangers they face when doing things wrong.

Katura sighed in relief as she was returned to her chair and she smiled to the three who helped her. "Thank you so much." She saidnhappily, despite Montag's words. She then watched them examine the writing, only to discover it was actually made of blood.

...where are we?" She murmured.

"......more unfortunate souls... to feed this hungry school. So many this time...." came a soft whisper and the blue flame disappeared only to appear behind the three examining the board.

Guy was quickly became enraged. He turned to Molly angrily, "Why would I make it up!?" When she examined the blood and realized the truth the room.

The air smelled like iron and the room did feel heavier and harder to breath. It was musky and dense like something had sucked up all the oxygen from around them and left them to suffocate in this decrepit classroom. Everything was rotting the wooden floor boards, the desk, even the ceiling looked stained and caved in with big chunks of wooden rods protruding out of holes from the ceiling. The room was a mess. The desks were either collapsed or non-existent, probably just a few inside the room. He went over to the window again and stared out the window.

Everything looked different. It was a different town, a different world outside those windows. Guy was puzzled, maybe it was an illusion and they never left their classroom but as He reached for the window's handles some invisible force was preventing from grabbing them. It was strange he struggled harder, straining with all his might to reach the handles but he couldn't pierce the invisible wall that blockade him from the windows. Defeated he surveyed the room and notice Paige, appearing stunned, and worried.

He could sense it, something in her eyes was filled with knowledge, and he came to the conclusion that she was aware about what was going on. Without much thought he quickly stormed towards her grabbing her hand and dragging her out to the distorted and aged hallway. He pushed her up against the wall and glared at her mercilessly.

"I don't want anyone to get the wrong idea just yet," he whispered firmly. "But I know you know something! I just feel it, I don't know how I know but I know!" He slammed his hand up against the wall behind her. "Everyone else in the room just figured out this wasn't some joke! So it's not going to be long before their fear takes them over and realize we're not in 'Kansas' anymore. So what's going on!?" He demanded.

Molly wipped her hand off on her pants leg and took a look around the place. She noticed that this place was diffently not the same school she was in boy how was she going to explaine this to her parents much less get out of her to them they are gonna report her missing and go thou all that mess. She knew the cops after years of searching would report her dead to them how would they handle this she has to get out of here. She took a deep breath and decided to learn all she could so she could do just that.

Tina looked around the place as well and said in a quite voice "this does not explaine anything its like oz except no tornado changed the area where we where it was an earthquke". She was trying to grip onto what she was seeing but it all did not make any sense to her so she walked over to Molly and put her hands on her arm clinging to her the one thing she knew so well.
