Celeste's gaze firmly remained downward, too ashamed to let it move up. While the food had been kept before her, she ate .. knowing she would need her strength. Even if she didn't get pregnant from last night, no matter how long it would take for her to heal .... she would need every bit she could obtain. Her eyes had remained closed as her thoughts went to Sparta. Had the falcon returned with her weapons fine? Were they still safe? And finally ... they went to her fiance and it made her tremble.
She had honestly considered giving the falcon the ring as well, mainly from feeling so very unworthy. And now, she wondered if that had been the right course of action. She hated herself ... she had,
again, given into her lust and enjoyed something she should not have. It had been rape at first... but her body betrayed her. And anyone whom would have found her would have known it perfectly ... which made her spirits sink even lower, her heart beginning to follow suit.
She hated this entire situation. All Celeste could literally do was sit and wait. Even if her guess had originally been correct on what
should have happened before she escaped, she knew there was a possibility she had been wrong. It may not have even been an orgy or way to attempt to get her pregnant. Though then again ... not many other possibilities were coming to her mind. Death was perhaps the only other one; but Redfang had been making that very clear he wanted, no,
needed her alive. She was grateful .... and simultaneously horrified.
As a voice called out to her, she turned her head abruptly. Moving herself - carefully - so she could better see and reveal herself to the woman, she gave a weak nod.
"Yes ... it is me. Though I doubt I look much like a 'Lady' like this." She replied, a weak smile on her lips to try to lighten the mood, even if only a bit. She went silent about the question of what Sparta would do.
"I'm not certain. I haven't heard from any of them, though I did ensure my weapons and arrows got back there. That should signal to someone I'm alive .... though I don't know about well ... "
A light wince left as her leg got touched. Even with the cast, it still did - and would for a while - hurt.
"Redfang .... is quite the sore loser." She merely replied, chuckling lowly.
"He ... really insists I be the one to bear his children. So he's been quite adamant on keeping me alive ... and nearby. So he ... broke it, to try to prevent me from getting away from him." Even as she revealed the information regarding carrying the children ... she was
still silently praying that Juno, Diana, or both would help her with that. She
really didn't want to be carrying Lycans of all things.
Then again ...
would they even be that? A human plus a full blooded Lycan .... did he not realize they may turn out human? It made her smirk a bit. Maybe ... the plan would fail if that happened. He always said 'pups', never once 'humans'. So ... maybe if they weren't what he desired ... he wouldn't use her again? But then ... what would happen to the kids themselves? She rubbed her forehead, shaking her head lightly. Too many possibilities ... and few of them were appealing to her.
No ... that won't do. I ... have to be infertile while I'm with him .... It would be the only thing she would accept. No one else should be punished .... especially over a technicality that the man whom was so confident in his plan didn't bother to take enough time to think over it and realize the ways it could go wrong ....
