D.E.666 ~ An Arranged Future ~ Nekrosilisk88

His eyes were closed as he took in her scent, he just wanted to focus on what his other senses could tell him for now. That wonderful scent, her musk blended with the scent of rose and citrus, the feeling of her fur brushing against his. He could hear her laugh like the gentle chime of silver bells. Her voice was soft and gentle. As she turned he opened his eyes again, locking his gaze with hers as she finished speaking.

He stood there in silence for a few moments, his deep hazel eyes lost in the depth of her crystal blue pools. Not once did he blink, completely lost in the moment. When she brought the rose she'd plucked up between their noses, and the placed it in her hair, he pulled her in closer, admiring the precious flower he was claiming for his own, now more than ever determined to make it his forever. Faith and their parent's could rot in hell. This lovely beauty before him was the one he wanted, the consequences be damned.

“I'll have to remember that so I can send you a bouquet that's both tantalizing and scandalous. The world would be so much better if we could just allow out passion to guide us don't you think?” He let one of his hands part from it's place holding her, and brought it up gently under her chin to pull her in for a deep and passionate kiss.

Faith gazed up into his hazel eyes, admiring the way that the different colors blended in them, her own blue eyes sparkling brightly with glee, a dash of mischievousness and faint amusement. They were so different from how they had been when she was younger. When she was younger, anytime they were near each other, her eyes had always blazed with dislike and the mischievousness that usually was in them would never bode well for him. But now, instead of it being a tormenting kind of look, it was a gentle playful one.

As she slipped the rose into her dark hair, she felt his hands pull her closer to him, her body pressing close to his. The feline smiled a little wider and she placed her hands upon her chest, but didn't push him away. They just rested there, her fingers lightly running over the soft fabric of his top. Faith was sure that this rogue, who ever he was, was the perfect person for her. While she knew that her parents wanted her to be with Jansen, she just couldn't stand him. Anytime she was around him, it always seemed like he acted like he was better then her.

Hearing him speak, she smiled a little wider and giggled. "Tantalizing and scandalous." she repeated before laughing again. "I like the sound of that. I can already imagine my mothers reaction when I accept it." She grinned and moved a little closer. "It would be better if we could just allow our passion to guide us." she replied softly. Faith felt his hand leave her side before he cupped her chin. When his lips met hers, she felt a warmth rush through her and she faintly purred while kissing him back, one of her hands sliding up behind his neck as she leaned into him a bit.

Jansen closed his eyes as their lips met. He leaned into her, the kiss soon leaving the bounds of being chaste and proper as his tongue slid out from behind his teeth and into her mouth. He allowed his hands to explore her gentle curves. She was everything he wanted. She was witty without being condescending, and sweet without being backhanded. He always felt the need to one-up Faith because of how much she seemed to berate him over every last detail.

This girl was different though. She admired his skills, and was gentle in her critique of his flaws. Her smile was sincere, and there was an honesty behind the mischievous laughter in her eyes. He couldn't think of a better word to describe her than perfect. She was perfect, and she was his.

He pulled back from the kiss slow and tender, looking into her wonderful blue eyes again, his heart racing. “That was wonderful. Pity I'm stuck staying here for tonight, or I'd want to whisk you away and home with me, alas there's always tomorrow I suppose.”

Faith shivered a little as she pressed her body flush against his, not caring that it was rather inappropriate. After all, they were out here in the middle of a garden kissing in a way that lovers usually kissed. As his tongue slid into her mouth, she returned the kiss even more passionately, a faint moan escaping her as his hands explored her curves. She liked him a lot. He was so kind and charming. He cared about her comfort and feelings, something that Jansen had never done for her.

As he pulled back from the kiss, she opened her eyes and gazed up into his, her own eyes glimmering brightly as she reached up and stroked his cheek. She giggled when he said he'd want to whisk her away and home with him. "Is that so?" she asked softly. "And what would you do with me if you did whisk me away and home with you?" she asked curiously.

Hearing that he was staying here at her home wasn't surprising. Many of the guests that her parents had invited had come from afar and her mother invited a number of them to stay in the extra guest rooms. They had a wing in the house meant just for guests and Faith was pretty sure just about every room was filled.

Jansen held her body flush against his own. He smiled mischievously. He was enjoying toying with this kitten, even if the wait for everything else was agonizing. It was most definitely a bittersweet experience. He tilted his to the side and gave her a sly wink.

“Milady I dare not speak of it, for fear of prying eyes, and curious ears. Even here in the garden, one must be leery of such things, lest a perfectly innocent damsel have her reputation tarnished beyond all good repute.” He chuckled lightly and the continued. “But of course such dalliances would be reserved until after a finely cooked meal, and sufficient time to woo the fair maiden in question.”

Faith giggled softly as he smiled, her hand slowly creeping up his chest to play with the dark fur along his neck and jaw, smiling up at him as she leaned into his arms. She smiled a little wider as he tilted his head to the side and winked at her, tipping her head to the side a little so her muzzle briefly brushed against his jaw playfully.

As he spoke, she grinned mischievously, giggling again as she pulled back just a bit to gaze up into his eyes better. "Yes, that is a good reason for being quiet." she said softly. "So, I suppose it's a good thing that I am staying here as well, yes?" After he said that such things would be reserved until after a finely cooked meal and enough time to woo her, she smiled with a soft laugh. "Yes, I suppose the would be." Faith pulled back a little more and lightly tapped him on the tip of his nose with her fan while giggling.

Jansen grinned, and pulled her back into him. “A lady should be careful to whom she gives such knowledge. Who's to say I won't steal more than my way into your room tonight?” She was so much fun to tease and entice. It was even better given that she seemed to be playing his own game right back against him.

He nipped her ear playfully, before nuzzling his way down her neck. He continued to nip at her playfully and kissing her neck. God above he couldn't believe how fast this little kitten had stolen his heart, and here he was supposed to be the thief for the evening. He suddenly stopped as his ears perked up. He thought he heard some kind of rustling, but wasn't sure if it was merely the wind, or if someone was nearby.

Faith's gentle laugh rang out once again as he pulled her against him once more, a bright smile on her face as she looked up at him while he warned her about giving away such knowledge. "Is that so?" she asked softly. "And who's to say I'd protest?" As she spoke, she slowly moved her hand up along his neck, her fingertips playfully tickling his neck and jaw.

Feeling him nip her ear, she giggled again before mewling softly as he began nuzzling along her neck, biting her lip as he nipped and kissed at her slender neck. When he stopped though, she mewled again but this time it was in protest to him stopping. "What's wrong?" she asked softly, pulling back just a little to look at him before another rustle caught her attention as well and her ears twitched a bit while she looked around.

Jansen stepped back to a more appropriate distance, and let his eyes drift over the garden. He heard the second rustle, and knew that they weren't alone out here. The wind was almost completely still so it couldn't be blamed. The question remained as to who or what was out here with them. His nose was still filled with her scent so he couldn't really pick anything out that way.

He placed his hand at the small of her back, as low as he could get away with and still look decent. “Perhaps we should make our way back and mingle amongst the guests some more?” He leaned in closer to her so he could whisper without the risk of being heard. “We can arrange for a more sensual encounter later this evening I'm sure.”

Faith fought off the urge to pout as he stepped back a bit and she faintly sighed before looking around the garden as well. While there was a very light breeze, it was nothing that would cause a rustle like what they'd heard. And with how close they'd been to each other, his scent was still filling her senses as well, so she couldn't pick up anything out of the ordinary among the garden.

She felt his hand at the small of her back and she smiled gently as she gazed up into his eyes. "I suppose you're right. Some might get the wrong idea if we're out here too long." she replied before turning her head slightly as he whispered, her ears tilting towards him as she listened to him, a smile forming upon her lips a bit more. "Oh, I'm sure we can." she agreed.

Jansen smiled as he walked his prize back to the mansion. Sneaking around his own house was easy enough. Sneaking around someone else's would be a bit trickier. Needless to say sneaking into her bed if she was sharing the room with her parents would be an even greater challenge. Still he'd burn those bridges when he reached them. For now he was content, even if a little tortured, just to enjoy her pleasant company.

“Indeed, and we can't have that can we. A fine lady such as yourself should have a sterling reputation, even if there is a thief in the wings waiting to steal her away.” He chuckled lightly and gave her a grin. She was darling and he'd claimed her for his own, the consequences be damned.

As they neared the entrance, he kept a weather eye open for his parents. He'd have watched for hers as well, but he had no idea who they were. Brutus was a problem he could deal with if needed, but somehow he figured that the venue would prevent a scene. They'd long ago agreed to keep Faith out of their fight, and she was somewhere in the crowd.

Faith turned with him so she was facing the mansion and at her companions side, walked up the path back towards her home, her tail swaying gently behind her while she wrapped an arm around one of his as they walked. She wondered how her charming thief would be able to sneak into her room with out being caught. After all, her bedroom wasn't anywhere near the guest rooms and even though it was a reasonable distance from her parents rooms, there was still a couple rooms near hers for the 'honored' guests that her parents called Jansen and his parents.

"I'm very grateful that you're so thoughtful about my reputation. Even though tonight's antics would probably ruin it if anyone knew exactly who I was." she said with a giggle. At the mention of a thief being in the wings to steal her away, she smiled brighter and rested her head against his shoulder. "And what a successful thief he is."

Near the entrance of the mansion, her ears perked up some more and she looked around carefully. She knew that her mother would be looking for her and she'd probably get into a lot of trouble should the older feline catch her. "There's just the small question of how said thief would be able to sneak into certain places." she said softly with a small smile.

He smiled as she leaned her head up against his shoulder. He could feel the soft brush of her face through his shirt, and the sensation, coupled with the thought of the outrage his mother would have if she saw him right now was particularly satisfying. It wasn't as if he didn't love his mother, but she was so controlling that any chance he had to rebel was one he was liable to take.

When she asked about how he would reach her he thought for a minute. He knew where in the mansion he and his parents were staying for the most part, but their reserved rooms were a good deal from the guest wing where the bulk of the people who were staying over. The rooms where he was staying were those reserved for the Wesley's closest friends and honored guests. Likely he'd have to navigate the halls or the roof to get to her room, and then of course would come the joy of getting back in the morning to avoid rousing suspicion.

“Well milady the first thing a skilled thief always learns is where his prize is being kept secure. After that it's a simple matter of learning how to navigate the building, and acquiring entrance. Obviously the latter of the three has been accomplished already, but the first two, well I could use a little help in their discovery. Of course such endeavors must always be made with the utmost discretion, only a cad wouldn't consider the value of a woman's reputation.”

She saw him smile and she smile to herself. Even though she couldn't see much of his face because of his disguise, she thought that he looked quite dashing and handsome when he smiled, the thought making her giggle softly. Much like his mother, her own was extremely controlling. Her mother liked to make sure that everything was perfect from the condition of the house to making sure that every hair was in place. Faith thought it was nuts and that was why she often liked to cause some kind of drama. That night for example. Her mother was going to have a conniption because of what she'd done, but Faith didn't care.

After she'd asked how he'd reach her, Faith watched his face as he thought, a smile on her own as she studied his features. As he finally answered, she chuckled at his reply and she nodded. "It sounds like you have experience at stealing things." she said playfully. "Well, we should discuss the location where said prize is being kept then, shall we?" she asked.

Sometime over the last couple years, her mother had relocated Faiths rooms. Where as they had once been right next to her parents in the 'nursery' rooms, once she reached her pre-teens, her parents decided to remodel a set of rooms for her, having decided that since she was a growing young woman, she deserved some privacy and freedom. So now she was moved a little further down the corridor from where her rooms once were.

“Only a time or two madam, only a time or two.” Truth was he'd broken into places quite a few times. Normally it was innocuous enough, forgetting his keys in his house or car, and usually leaving something behind that he needed that day as well. But there were a few times he'd broken into the high school and almost gotten caught because he'd left his homework or his books in the classroom. It was a nerve wracking and exhilarating experience.

The one time he had gotten caught was breaking into his ex's room. Her father wasn't exactly happy about seeing a half naked cat in the same room as his naked daughter. Explaining the reason for the buckshot in the fender of his Mustang the next day was not one of his favorite memories, the expression on his mother's face was another story entirely.

Still it wasn't something he did without just cause, and this darling lady was certainly a just and noble cause, so for her he was more than willing to brave the risk of having a firearm pointed in his general direction again. She was more than worth the risk in the measure of such things. Though the thought did remind him to be wary of such things.

“We should indeed, but perhaps someplace where we aren't liable to be heard. It would be such a shame it our devious plan were discovered and extra precautions were suddenly made to protect the priceless gem I seek to plunder tonight.”

Faith smiled a little wider and laughed softly as he said he'd only done it a time or two. "Oh? Is that so?" she asked with another giggle. She was beginning to find that she really, REALLY liked this young man. Charming, kind, suave and sneaky, but sneaky in a good way. He was also a bit of a trouble maker from how their evening has turned out so far. She liked that. After all, everything else in her life was so serious.

As he suggested they speak in a place where they wouldn't be over heard, she nodded in agreement while lifting her head from his shoulder. "Good idea." she told him. "And I believe I know just the place." She entered the ballroom once again at his side and glanced around at all the party goers. Most of them would be leaving sometime in the late evening to a nearby hotel or to their homes or homes of their friends while a small handful of guests would actually stay at the mansion. After all, while her mother loved mingling and gossiping with her 'friends' she didn't like a good number of the people here to actually let them spend the night. Her mother even went so far as to have a count done on all the silverware and crystal glasses as well as having the rooms checked to make sure nothing was missing.

"We can retreat to the library." she whispered in his ear, knowing that no one would hear her because she was whispering and because of the music. "With the party going on here, it's doubtful that anyone would be there."

Jansen allowed his lady to lead him on through the library. As they passed through the ballroom he saw his mother out of the corner of his eye. She was standing with an older white feline, and the sour look on her face told him everything he needed to know about their conversation. No doubt she was complaining about his behavior for the evening, and the woman was one of her socialite friends. His father was probably off talking to Mr. Wesley. He wasn't sure about his mother's relationship with Mrs. Wesley, but his father and Mr. Wesley had been good friends long before they'd become business partners.

Oddly he hadn't seen any sign of Faith the entire evening. He'd figured that she'd have stuck out like a sore thumb for this event. She'd always been craving all the attention she could muster. He wondered where she was right now. Her parents obviously hadn't seen her all evening from what his mother had said. Still those were thoughts he'd deal with later, for now he turned his attention to lady. When she mentioned where they were headed he got a wicked idea.

"The library? My I've never met someone who was such a bibliophile.” His voice was teasing as he gave her rear a light tap. “What kind of girl gets in the mood with books? And you're taking me to a place filled with them alone?” He clicked his tongue and gave her a mischievous grin.

Faith glanced around the ballroom as she lead him through it, skillfully weaving her way through the guests. Like him, she saw her mother standing with Mrs. Lamb and she smiled to herself when she saw the looks on their faces. Though her mother was able to keep a rather cool exterior, Faith knew from the way her mothers mouth was pressed into a thin line and the hard look in her eyes, that the older feline was far from pleased. And she could easily guess what her mother was displeased about. The older woman was probably angry that Faith hadn't made an appearance and socialized with the Lambs and other important people like a good daughter was supposed to.

It will really upset her mother even more when the older feline found out that Faith hadn't worn that pale pink and white ball gown that her mother had gotten her. Her mom had picked out a pretty but very modest and covering pink and white sparkly ball gown and a matching mask that was designed like a butterfly and Faith hated it. That was why the young woman had gone out and gotten her own outfit for this get together.

Thankfully though, Faith hadn't seen Jansen all evening and she was rather relieved. She knew that he liked to cause a scene at times and it was rather annoying. While she did enjoy attention, she didn't go around seeking it and demanding the attention from others. Her parents perhaps, but not others.

Returning her attention to her attention, she smiled and laughed when he called her a bibliophile, her eyes sparkling with amusement. "Yes, the library. It's quiet, private and the people at these kinds of parties usually avoid a library." she said. "And I don't necessarily get into the mood with books. More the.... content of the books." She felt him pat her rear and giggled softly. It didn't take her long to lead him out of the ballroom and into one of the halls that led to the library. From the way she led him around with ease, it was clear she was familiar with the house.

He smiled as she spoke. Every word she spoke was laced with honey and spice. He loved being a bit of a rebel, but it was mostly so he could have, or at least feel like he had some degree of freedom from his parents. It wasn't that he didn't want to take over the family business, he just wanted to be able to have his own life as well, and not just live as his parents had.

Jansen noticed the ease at which she navigated the house. He'd been here quite a few times in the past, but he'd still never quite gotten the hang of navigating the house. He could find his way about, but it usually required a fair bit of meandering. His lovely lady was probably another close friend of the Wesley's that had been here more in recent years.

"Come here often then? Perusing dirty books like Chaucer and Rabelais?” His voice still had that teasing edge. “A private room with such treasures surrounding one's self, there's a number of possibilities that could readily come to mind, especially since one could be fairly certain they wouldn't be interrupted.”

She walked silently at his side as she led the way through the halls towards the library which wasn't too far from the ball room where the rest of the guests were currently partying. While she walked, she pulled her fan from the small pocket in her skirt and lightly fanned herself with it. It was made of the same red silk and black lace that her dress was made of.

When he asked about her coming to the mansion often and perused books like Chaucer and Rabelais, laughing softly before shaking her head. "Oh, I've been here quite a bit, but not to read Chaucer and Rabelais." she said, her eyes bright as she glanced at him. "I prefer the works of Pietro Aretino and Auguste Brancart." she said softly. The young woman paused in front of the library doors and looked at him with a small smile. "Among other such.... naughty... authors."

With a smile, she pushed open the doors to the library and entered. It was a large library, most of their books being kept here since it was the library that was open to the guests. There was a more private one in another part of the manor that was closed to everyone but the family and the people that were personally invited into it, which rarely happened. This one had dark wood flooring and wooden panel walls with hand carvings everywhere. A fire place was against one of the walls with a couple of seats around it. It was a lavish, beautiful place but also warm and cozy should a person wish to sit and read in quiet.

Jansen looked about the library. It had been years since he'd last set foot in here. Their collection of books had increased, but of course anything particularly rare or interesting would've been kept in the private library. He'd only been in there once, and that was the last time he'd been in this place. He made his way towards the chairs by the fireplace, and took a seat beside the fireplace.

He leaned back in his chair and admired the young lady he was escorting for the evening. She was catching him off guard with every turn, something he found exhilarating and satisfying. Someone like this he could know for a decade and still be learning more.

“My, my, such an uncouth taste in novels. Surely your mother must protest against such illicit reading. It certainly isn't becoming of such a fine damsel as yourself.”

After Jansen entered the library, Faith closed the door behind them and she glanced around, her ears perked up as she made sure they really were alone before she moved further into the dimly lit room. Most of the light in the room at the moment came from the fire which was blazing in the fireplace. Because of this, her crimson and gold gown glimmer much like the very flames in the fireplace. After he took his seat, she moved to the chaise-lounge across from where he sat and lowered herself carefully, leaning back against the arm while smiling at him.

His comment about having an uncouth taste in novels made her laugh and she flashed him a quick smile. "Ah, but what dear mother doesn't know, won't hurt her." she said before leaning in towards him a little. "Besides, possibly getting caught reading them is part of the thrill."

With another chuckle, she leaned back again and played with one of the curls that hung free around her face, her blue eyes glimmering in the light while she looked at him. While lounging there, the feline actually looked like she could be from a scene in one of the books that she read. Mysterious, sexy, seductive and rather playful as well.

As he sat down, Jansen seemed to melt into the shadows of the high backed chair. The fire's flickering light danced across his highly polished boots. He leaned back and rested one boot across his knee. His hazel eyes seemed to gleam with mischief in the firelight and his white teeth stood out against the darkness as he grinned.

“Indeed. Were it not for that thrill doing that which we aren't supposed to would soon lose it's enticement. And where's the fun if it becomes dull?” He watched her from the shadows of his chair, admiring the way the flames highlighted her dress and made her eyes dance. Ah the wait for this prize was agonizing, but it would make the acquisition so much sweeter.

Faith slowly looked her companion over with a small smile, her whiskers twitching and her eyes bright in the firelight. She could see his own eyes gleam in the light as well and she could see a hint of mischief in them, the look making her chuckle softly before nodding slowly as he spoke. "That's very true." she agreed. For a long moment she sat there gazing at him, taking in his dark appearance before she shifted in her seat a little and spoke up again.

"Now, I do believe we retreated to this... private location to discuss something." she said slowly, one of her hands moving down to adjust her skirts. As she did so, some of her long pale legs became exposed almost to her knees, her golden shoes glittering in the light. "I believe that it had something to do with a... certain location of something you wished to... acquire." Her words were soft with a playful tone in her voice as she grinned and softly giggled.

Jansen allowed his eyes to follow the curve of her legs. He knew she was teasing him, trying to make herself even more enticing, not there was much more she'd be able to do in that regard. His red tongue passed over his lips briefly as he considered his next play in this game.

“Indeed we did. I do believe I was desiring a certain bed for the evening, and a certain young lady was going to be so kind as to offer me it's location.” It was getting a bit warm in the library, not uncomfortably so, but enough for him to tease her a bit as well.

Reaching up to his peasant shirt, he undid the tie, and allowed the neck to fall open exposing his chest a bit more. He didn't go down to the gym much, but his work at the winery certainly helped him strengthen and tone his body.
