Innocence beneath the moon

Anya giggled brightly as she clapped her hands excitedly. "i AM a talented! Mama says it's rude to brag, but i did it ALL on my own!" she admitted puffing her little chest out, ever so proudly, several of the wolves nearby, chuckling at the little girls excitement, one of the women commenting, low enough for only Callista to hear. "she's been parading around in human form for three days straight now." which wolf said it, Callista would never know, but the tone was warm and affectionate as well as amused. all the wolves seamed to be very close knit, knowing each other and supporting each other. Anya looked startled to be called pretty and she stared at Csllista for a moment, shocked. "oh i'm not pretty yet!" she admitted clapping a hand to her chest. "i got no boobies yet! Mama says that's how you catch a man, is by your boobies! is that true Moon Lady?" Anya asked, many of the wolves outright laughing at little Anya now, in the same manner Callista's mother had sometimes laughed at the silly things Callista had said. the little girl really was amusing.

Anya's eyes got so big and excited at the promise that she could help Callista learn how to fly, and she bounced up and down eagerly as she made excited yipping noises as right before everyone's eyes the overly hyper girl turned into chipper red wolf pup that chased it's tail for a few moments, startled by it's sudden appearance, which had the adults giggling again. Anya was as typical hyper as a puppy could get. Callista's Wolf hound pups had been just as excitable over everything. butterflies, cats, other dogs, the postal man, more butterflies, a piece of straw, everything was met with enthusiastic over-excitment. but Anya settled down, back in human form, to happily untangle Callista's hair. she giggled at the sigh that issued out of the other woman's mouth, her head tilted. "maybe, after your bath, you could come and meet my Mama and siblings?" she asked, looking ever so proud. "Mama can't play with me now because she has babies, but i don't mind because my brothers and sisters are SO cute!" she admitted, grinning happily. "Mama didn't move them during the flooding, because we're up high enough that we didn't have to." Anya admitted grinning as she worked all the tangles out of Callista's hair.

"All Done!" she chirped, pleased with a job well done, sticks and leaves and bits of moss not littered her work area and Anya leaped to her feet. "i'll be right back!" the rain had stopped, and most of the wolves where safe for another day. Anya wanted to check on her mother and siblings, and when she came back she had a wooden tray full of good things to eat. freshly baked bread with fruits and nuts baked inside, a hank of deer, roasted to perfection, and there was even an ear of corn, toasted over a fire and smothered in freshly made butter from the Cow Callista had traded for. "i brought you lunch!" Anya chirped, setting the tray on the side of the pool. "eat up!" she ordered happily.

Callista listened to the pup as she bragged about herself, giggling and praising her deeds in return. Such a proud young girl, and not in the least bit shy. The whispering and chuckling of the pack made her smile, such a close nit village. As if they were all family.. and they all loved and protected one another. She envied them.. Wishing more than anything that both her parents felt the same way about her. Looking back at the young one, the startled look in her eyes caused her to tilt her head.. worried that she may have offended the girl. But the words she said provoked a laugh from her lips. What a silly little thing!

"Oh but you are very pretty Anya! You dont need boobs to be pretty silly thing. Watch catches all the good men isnt your chest but whats behind it. A good heart, and you definately have one!"

A warm smile touched those slender lips of hers as she walked over to the den and sunk beneath the warm waters of the bathing spring. Her body was even more beautiful without the clothes. Pale, Slender and slight and proportionate hour glass figure. Her body was lined with small amounts of muscle, adding more definition to her beautiful figure. Perky, round breasts sat upon her chest.. not too big but not at all small. A pleasantly plump c cup, and a firm, round ass complimented them. To top it off, a pale silver birthmark rounded her belly button in the shape of a cresent moon. A child of the moon. Once the child had skipped off, She rinsed out her hair.. a sigh of releif filling the room as her silken hair shone with its cleanliness. Picking up the bar of soup, she took a moment to inhale the pleasant arouma that wafted off it. It must have been a rather expensive bar. With that in mind, she used it sparringly, dragging it along each and every curve of her body until it too was shining.

She had just got done shaking out her furs and covering her body once more when the alluring smell of food drifted into the den. Callista hadn't realized just how hungry she was until then, her stomach rumbling over the tray of food.
"Oh thankyou Anya! Im so hungry"
Her voice showed just how thankfull she was as she took the tray and sat on one of the rocks in the den. Immediatly, she went for the fresh baked breads, smiling in delight as she bit into the sweet fruits.

Anya blinked at her, looking startled before beaming at the other. "when i get older i wanna have a mate just like you!" she chirped happily as she held Callista's hand and led her to the bathing cave... not that many used it. most of the wolves rather hated having wet fur so they avoided baths unless they actually stank or got dirty. and even then, they normally just bathed in the nearby river. Anya giggled at the other woman's excitement over the food, her head tilted. "Alpha said you where probobly hungry." she admitted, beaming happily. "Mama made the bread! she's a good cook!" she admitted happily. "Mama's excited, because there's a Moon Child with us... i don't know what a Moon Child is, but apparently there's a propetcy... what's a propetcy?" Prophecy... was there a Prophecy about Callista? "Alpha doesn't know about the Propetcy..." she admitted, giggling a little. "Me and Mama, we're new to the pack, we only joined a few weeks ago." she admitted, kicking her feet in the warm water of the bathing pool.

"Mama asked me to invite you to dinner!" she admitted, grinning happily at Callista. "you can meet my siblings! their sooo cute! all round and fuzzy." she admitted with a giggle. "Mama lets me hold and cuddle them all i want!" she admitted happily, bouncing around as she smiled at Callista. "please say you'll come? please please?" she pleaded. "Mama will make roasted squirrel for you! Mama makes the best Roasted Squirrel. and she's gonna make Rabbit stew!" she admitted, beaming at the other woman. "Alpha was going to make dinner for you, but i think he forgot acus he's helping to dig a new puppy den." she admitted with a small giggle. "he's diiiiirty." she admitted with more giggles as she held out a new pile of clothes for Callista to dress in. "Alpha said for you to leave your leathers here, and that he'd make sure they where cleaned properly."

Callista stopped at the word that came from the little ones mouth, the hairs at the back of her neck standing up. Mate? Is that what he called her? Had he already decided to claim her? She feared the plans he had for her, the thought making the viring cringe. Yes, It was flattering to have such a handsome man to want her but she barely knew the man.. let alone did she know how to be a wife, a partner or as the little girl put it a "mate". She said nothing in response, not wanting to discuss this with one so little. Ronan would have questions to answer later. And yet, the little girl continued to pour out information that scared her. A moon child? What was a moon child.. and what made them think she was one? A prophecy? About her? It couldnt be, they had the wrong girl. She was a farmer! Just a farmer! Callista kept her distress to herself, though on the inside an internal battle raged on. Either way, she did want to meet with this women.. maybe she really would no something.

"Oh yes! Shes is wonderful cook! Im glad your mothers excited that I am here Anya! Ill have to come to dinner later and meet the mother of such a wonderful girl"

She giggled and brought a hand down to rub Anya's hair in a loving manner. An involuntary smile reached her lips as the child begged her to come with her and meet her mother and her siblings. She couldnt help but to say yes, Who would want to let such a happy little thing down? That, and she needed to hear about the moon child and the prophecy for herself. Perhaps it could help her get answers.. or simply add to the number of rumors she had heard throu-ought her life. Either way, she was going.
"Roasted Squrirrel?"
The people in her village would eat rabbits but never once had she heard of squirrel being used in a meal. They were so small, it was hard to imagine they had any meat at all.
"Oh what a busy alpha!"
She exclaimed in response to Ronan digging up new puppy dens. She had to admit, she admired how hard he work for his family. It was a trait desired by many. A laugh left her lips as Anya told her that the man was dirty.
"Ew, He will need a good bath and brushing wont he!"
Her voice was soft and playfull, giggling with the child. She was glad to see clean clothes infront of her, and immediatly shed her leathers. The clothes werent what she would normally wear.. but they were clean and comfortable none the less. Folding up her clothing, she looked back to the child.
"Shall we go see your mother now?"

Anya cheered happily as it was agreed that Callista would come to dinner with them and she beamed at the other woman before she giggled. "Alpha HATES baths!" she whispered with a bright giggle. "he always gets all grumpy when he has wet fur!" she admitted with another giggle as she took Callista's hand against once she was dressed. "we live this way!" she admitted, pointing down the hill and leading the way down a muddy path to a cave that had missed being flooded by mere feet. inside it was warm and dry, and filled with the sounds of whining, tired puppies. the den was large enough for a human to walk straight in, and there was a bright, hot fire at the entrance with a pot boiling over it, cooking the stew.

"Mama! i'm back! Calli is here too!" there was a small chuckle as a young woman, maybe thirty or forty years old. "good afternoon Moon Child." the woman muttered softly. "i was just skinning the Squirrels, please, make yourself comfortable." she offered... it was strange, the woman didn't seam to be looking at Callista, and as she came closer, it was clear why. Anya's mother was blind! "my name is Tanya." she introduced herself. "i suppose you have some questions for me?" she asked, carefully finding one of the small chairs that where around a tiny table near the front of the cave. "i'll finish the Squirrel's mama!" Anya promised, skipping away to finish preparing the meal, Tanya chuckling a little as she listened to her daughter singing off key. "she's a hyper, but very good daughter." Tanya admitted happily as she tilted her head at Callista. "you first must understand... Ronan doesn't know any of the things i'm about to tell you." she admitted simply. "you see.. i am new to this pack, Ronan rescued me when my last Alpha blinded me with the ashes of a fire." she admitted simply. "he is a good wolf, a good Alpha... but he does not think well of prophecies and seers." she admitted with a small grin. "ironic if you think about it, him being a werewolf and scoffing at fortune tellers." it was pretty amusing to think about it.
