Any enemies I don't have to move to hit? There's a slight problem for me, in that the reference point for how far away something is keeps changing. Or maybe I'm too used to a grid.

You would think, but then again messing with someone implies there is something there to mess with.

The Deathlord 15 feet from you would be attackable, but assumedly it would get an AOP on you. The one behind Lios is also attackable if I have my distances right.

Yep, just had to do some Geometry, you can move to attack either Deathlord.

He made his attack, so you'll be up soon

Attack of Opportunity is if you leave a threatened square, not enter. Only way that could happen is if they were equipped with spiked chains, which DM did _not_ mention. And I figured it out. To used to a grid. Given more prep, and access to a computer, I could try to recreate fights on a grid and send picture updates when things change. As an idea for the future. Not very realistic for for each person's turn, but maybe at the beginning of mine or someone elses?

And that Frost enchantment seems to be doing _jack_, and not in the sexual way, Ghaigido! Hmm... This encounter would mean that some Nords somewhere would be happy with us, if it goes well.

Ah, sorry I am a little tired and my memory of the rules on threatened spaces is a little rusty.

How about I switch it to like this:
Grid: 10x10, 0=empty, I = obstacle such as tree, A1-A? are us, E1-E? are enemies. AC will be the wolf (animal companion)
Enemy1 - ???
Enemy2 - ???
Ally1 - Paul
Enemy3 - Draugr [Dead]
Ally2 - Ber'nia
Ally3 - Lios
Ally4 - Balmung
Enemy4 - Draugr Deathlord
Enemy5 - Draugr [Dead]
Enemy6 - Draugr Deathlord

That is workable at least for me.

I can work with that. Could work with earlier too, if that's easier or faster. Just was too used to a grid. And it's alright. Most people don't play D&D by themselves, creating whole imaginary worlds, that lead to a stack of loose-leaf papers a foot high. I've been playing since I was 10. My uncle introduced me to it.

As for the whole Nords reference, Draugr are _Nord_ undead, so someone's been body snatching from Skyrim!

Well Skyrim does border this area of Highrock, so they might not have had to drag them too far.

Well if we're talking about undead, if we weren't fighting kidnapped zombies, they would be Breton undead, which I do not know if they have a name or not.

Still, someone is after something, because you don't drag non-mummy undead though a desert for no reason. Too easy for them to fall apart, and get attack by the deserts many, many lethal predators. Bright side, most of those use poison, which doesn't affect undead. No constitution score.

Yep. Undead have it pretty good it seems. And yeah someone is after something, and it is probably not good. Hopefully we can handle this as so far we haven't seen what these deathlords do for damage.

Yeah.. I don't wanna be on the receiving end of one of there swings

And he says it doesn't seem to affect them, but that doesn't mean no damage. Undead don't notice attacks, unless a limb falls off or they die. _Much_ more stubborn than a mule.

Perhaps if we flank them? Maybe we can use magic? We do have a cleric

That we do. Speaking of magic I just realized something. The druid is smacking people with a stick and he didn't cast Shillelagh on it. That's a first for me.
