He could sense her movements through the bedroom, although dulled with what he could smell and noticing her surface thoughts. She was throbbing with need now, apparently she couldn’t satisfy herself well enough. He would have to look into that another time, though, as the door opened, and he matched her smile, even as he mentally took notes. She was a little more flushed, he had interrupted her and she had moved to the door with haste. She-
His mental checklist was cut off as she pulled him close and kissed him. Out of anything, he had not expected that, had doubted her nature would have allowed that, but he gave into the kiss, returning it even as she backpedaled into the room, looking afraid of what she had just done. Everything about her was a warning light to him, the fear and thoughts on her mind. He did his best not to frown.
He took a moment to look down each side of the hallway, before stepping into her room, closing the door. He thought she would appreciate being alone to settle what she had just done. “There is no reason to apologize.” He said in a soft, low, almost husky tone, as he took slow steps towards her. “In fact…” He didn’t come up with an end to that sentence, instead moving forward, leaning down some and sweeping her up in strong but gentle arms to kiss her, a deep, soft but passionate embrace, fingers slowly running through her hair, one hand resting lightly at the base of her spine.
