Somewhere over the rainbow.
Trystan shook his head, growling as he gripped the bars of his cage. He hated this place, hated how it worked, hated what they did to him. Him and all of his kind. He hated all of it. Soon his knuckles turned white, and his teeth bared as he let out the tiniest of growls at a passing shopkeeper. He needed to get out. Before they found out about his blood. The nekomimi shook his head, taking a deep breath, rubbing the bandages around his neck, cleverly disguised to look like a collar. It even had a little bell attached to it. His snow white ears and tail blended slightly with his light silver hair, his green eyes venomous whenever they passed over a shopkeeper. He almost smiled when they looked back, flashing a small grin at one of them, exposing short (when compared to other species) fangs. Outstandingly, he had a healthy skin tone, a fair amount of muscle tone. His clothes were clean, fitting into a slightly oriental tone, once again being pure white to match his theme. Wide sleeves, white slacks, with white slippers, all flowing quite nicely when he stood up to his full height of 5 feet and 6 inches. Of course, just by looking at him, one would figure he was completely harmless, which was true enough as long as you didn't give him a reason to hate you. And he'd resisted the shopkeepers on every little thing, from food to other habits. That thought brought a small smile to his face, although it quickly disappeared when he heard the chime of the door being opened. Almost immediately, his whole demeanor changed, from somewhat threatening to innocent and cute. He even curled his tail cutely around his waist, his green eyes becoming luminous, almost enchanting.

Alisa walked in the store at a brisk pace, her original intent was to get a parrot, but when she saw the strange creature her attention was drawn to it immediately. she walked over to the cage and pulled one of her long slender hands out of her pocket, she stuck it in and stroked the creature behind the ear, she pursed her lips and made a kissing noise, "Shop keep?" She said aloud not taking her eyes off the creature, gazing into its eyes with her powerful gaze, "How much for this little thing?" The elderly man rushed to her.

"Oh, uh?" He rubbed the back of his neck, "That thing, i dont even know what the hell it is, it wont eat, and all it does is growl at me, been tryin to get rid of it for weeks, but it bites anyone that touches it, yer the first person it hasnt tried to bite, so id say just take the damn thing outta here and its yours." The man frantically scrambled for the keyring on his belt and unlocked the cage, Alisa swung it open.

"C'mere little guy." She was six feet tall, so to her, the creature was little, "Lets go home." She said as she coaxed attempted to coax the creature from its cage."

Trystan tilted his head to allow the new vampire to scratch him behind the ear, creating a small rumbling deep in his throat. It wasn't a growl, but rather a purr. Slowly he crept out of the cage, eyeing the shopkeep dangerously before stretching lightly, his tail curling around his bandaged neck as he looked up at the woman. "Hm. Well, glad you came when you did...." For a few moments, his eyes looked into hers, his own almost vibrating with some strange energy. The neko turned to grin at the shop keeper again, exposing his tiny fangs once more, smiling wider when he saw the look in his eyes before turning back to the woman who was offering to take him. "You wouldn't happen to have a name would you?"

When he smiled to her, it was innocent incarnate, not like the sneer the shop owner had gotten. With every little movement Trystan made, the bell at his throat jingled, drawing some attention there. With a slow, graceful move he stepped closer to her, close to touching her arm, but not quite there. "Tell me where this 'home' is, and I'll gladly follow you there. Anywhere has got to be better then a cage."

"Alisa." She smiled and cooed at the creature, "I have a house on the ocean it overlooks the bay and you can see the fright ships come in at night, i like to sit on the balcony in the buff and have a cigarette and a glass of wine and think about all the worldly problems that i cannot fix." She chuckled as she lead the creature out the door, on the curb was parked her car, you could tell she was wealthy, the vehicle was a Lamborghini Aventador, one of which only 100 have been made in the whole world, she pressed a button and both doors slid up and forward at a slightly less than ninety degree angle, "Hop in and lets head home." She said as she gracefully walked over to her door and slid in.

Trystan almost melted at the description of her home. For a moment, he wobbled. He'd always enjoyed the beach, and wine. "That sounds fine. Fine indeed." He smiled widely at her, tilting his head slightly, a small question in his eyes. With a shake of his head, he climbed into the passenger side of the car. 'This one is definitely more calm then the last owners I've had. I think I might like this,' he thought to himself, relaxing into the seat of the car, which he only recognized as a Lamborghini. His hands folded on his lap and he looked over at her. "My name is Trystan. Heheh, your house sounds like a nice place. Although I have to ask you something, if you don't mind." He tilted his head down, smirking slightly. "You wouldn't happen to have any training equipment in your home would you? Fighting gear? Stuff like that."

"I do." She said as she smiled and turned the car over, it surprisingly gently hummed to life, unexpectedly actually, she revved it gently, and thats was the point where the car screamed, she dropped the clutch and the car rocketed out of its parking spot and into the street, she held out her left arm and held Tystan in place while she took a sharp left, and slid onto the highway sideways, once the car was straight she put both hands back on the wheel, "That was fun!" She said as she giggled, and shifted gears while weaving traffic and a blinding speed, the cars had no time to honk, she was moving so fast, she took a right down a long narrow road, they cruised along at a decent speed for several minutes untill she rolled the windows down and slowed the car down, she took a deep breath, "Nice, fresh, sea air." She said as they pulled into the driveway of her three story mansion, she pressed a button on a remote in the console and the garage opened, as she pulled inside, all sorts of exotic cars could be seen, some never before seen as well, in the corner was a mid sixties Camaro, it was flat black, everything on this car was blacked out, you could immediately tell by the fact that this car was separated from everything else in the garage that it was her most prized possesion, she pulled the Lamborghini into its spot and popped the doors open, "Home sweet home!" She gave a fanged smile, it was at this point where you noticed she was no ordinary vampire, her fangs came in sets, two sets of two on the top and two sets of two on the bottom, signifiying one simple fact, she was one of the first vampires, one of the strongest in the ten clans, and probably a ruler, if not a member of one of the ruling bodies of the vampire nation.

The neko was surprised. The car sounded so quiet at first, and all of a sudden it was screaming down the street. He could feel the speed, the movement pressing him back into the seat. A large smile dominated his face, and when she held him steady during a sharp turn into traffic, that smile only grew. "Holy damn..... I have GOT to get me one of these!" The second the window went down, he pushed his head out of the opening, enjoying the sensation of the wind in his short hair. When they arrived at her house, his jaw dropped in shock, and that attitude only furthered when he saw the inside of her garage. He knew a few of the cars there, the Camaro, sitting by itself was the easiest. And then something else, near the back caught his eye. It was a car that had been burned into his memory. Back when he was a free neko, he had a rather successful business going, which allowed him to buy a car he rather liked. The Porsche 944 Turbo. He didn't know if this one was a Turbo or not, but it was a Porsche, and he had a thing for German engineering. Of course, when he did tear his eyes away from the mechanic beauty, he saw her smile. And what he saw brought a small grin to his visage. "Nice fangs. Heheh, I bet you bite like a bat out of hell." The thought sent a small shiver down his spine, and vaguely, in the back of his mind he wondered what it would feel like to get bitten. "Shall we see the rest of the house?"

"Sure thing, and i dont bite often." She flicked her har, "A vampire of my age, doesnt have to resort to feeding on a daily basis anymore, and if i bit you, these fangs dont simply penetrate the skin, they shred, and tear and rip, my race is made of pure blood, therefore, we do not turn our victims, we kill them." She licked her fangs again, "So yes let us go into the house, unlike most rich people, I dont have servants, i refuse to be taken care of, i figure ive been alive five thousand years, and survived on my own as such, so why mess with success?" She pushed the side door to the house open and the whole house lit up instantly, everything was glass, there were no mirrors, and all the furniture was at least as old as she was, if not older, every door in the house was simply a frame with a huge glass middle, "There are no secrets in this house my little Neko friend, i have nothing to hide nor any reason to do so, that is why every door, every window, every cabinet is transparent, there are no mirrors because there is no reason to worry about outer beauty, in this house everyone and everything is beautiful."

The neko chuckled lightly, shaking his head at her description of the fangs. "Yes, it certainly looks like it would hurt...." He grinned at her, tilting his head, exposing his own cute little fangs. They seemed harmless next to hers. "Although, I do have a question. When you were younger...... how did you feed?" He knew that it had to be messy any which way he looked at it, but still, he was curious. He had seen his share of blood, although very rarely did he have any of it in his mouth. Although, as they went through the house, he had to admit, he did feel a little nervous about there being no doors. "While I agree with you on the outer beauty.... you mean to tell me that you have no secrets? There is nothing that you don't want people in this house to know?" The thought was an odd one to him. "You may have no secrets, but patience comes with age does it not?" He shrugged, tilting his head at her, gesturing to the glass cabinets. "I don't have the patience..... or the need to expose everything I am before anyone. If I have to, I will keep certain things outside of this house." The neko sighed, shaking his head when she came across everyone being beautiful. Not everyone was gorgeous, but he supposed that didn't matter. How many people ever got to see inside of this house anyways? "Well, all questions aside, would you show me where you keep the training equipment?"

She chuckled, "The things that go bump in the night are nothing compared to what im capable of, aside from a nuclear bomb detonating, nothing can really do any harm to me, much less hurt me, being pure blood, silver, crosses, holy water, nothing, they do nothing, in actuality being a pure blood, makes me a true immortal, a stake through the heart, thats about it, but whos going to dare be quick enough to get close to me to do so?" She laughed, "Its in the dojo underground, but lets not worry about that you should get some rest, have something to eat, we are going out a little bit later, you noticed the camaro yes?" she smiled "Its my fastest car, i take it to a local meet every night, and watch all the boys coo, and try to woo me, and then i crush them on the quarter mile!" She balled her fist and laughed, "So im going to go shower, you are welcome to join, i have clothes that might fit you as well, something a little less hobo looking perhaps." She smiled, "I kid lover." As she walked away to ascend the stairs she swayed her long slender frame gently, being her size, she moved with the grace of a swan, that is if swans were the most deadly predator on the planet.

He grinned at her, shaking his head. "I'm not worried about the things that go bump in the night." His eyes held just the tiniest hint of darkness in them. "I can deal with those. But you definitely seem like you'd be a challenge." He tilted his head, shaking the darkness away from himself. "And actually, we could figure out who would dare to be fast enough to get that close to you if you want. After we go to this.... meet of course." He couldn't help himself, he was a fighter. He wanted to see what he would be up against if things turned sour. Even though there was a slim chance that might happen, it never hurt to be prepared. "I can't rest just yet. There are some things I need to get while we're out." He bristled slightly when she called him hobo looking, but after a quick second, he simply smiled at her, taking it as a joke. Which very quickly turned out to be right. Nothing ever came of being hot headed. "I think I'd like to join you. As long as you don't put me in a dress, or skinny jeans, I'll be good." He chuckled, following closely behind her, his tail swaying, sometimes darting ahead to brush against her calf, only to pull back in case she looked. Of course, he figured she'd know it was him, but it put a mischievous look on him.

She continued up the stairs, she had her palm open, and was hearing his tail move, the instant it got close enough, she grabbed it, and let it go quickly, "Thats how fast i am." She giggled, and continued walking up the stairs into the bathroom, she turned some knobs on the wall in the shower and turned it onto blazing hot, she stripped and stepped in, "You will have to pardon me, if its too hot, this is like luke warm for me, i dont feel much of hot and cold anymore, feel free to adjust it, this temperature would probably burn your skin off, so if its too hot, adjust it." She threw her hair back, and let it get wet, while slightly arching her back, fully naked, all of her tattoos could be seen, most of them odd symbols, and some in the ancient vampire language, Cuniform, roughly seventy percent of her body was covered in tattoos, including her left breast, and her underarms, the tattoos stopped at her elbows and knees, as she turned around there were more of these tattoos on her back, all of them in black ink, they looked fresh, but she had them touched up on a daily basis, she liked the way the black ink looked against her pale skin.

The neko meeped and jumped away from her when she grabbed his tail. A neko's tail was one of the most sensitive parts on their body, and if held the wrong way, it could be extremely painful... or pleasurable. That thought sent a small shiver down his spine. When she turned the shower on, he couldn't help but tilt his head. That was some very hot water, judging by the amount of steam coming from it. He shook his head, sighing as he reached in to adjust the water, making it slightly colder. He enjoyed his water hot. He couldn't recognize what the tattoo's said, but he did know they were cuniform. A very old language. Much too old for him to know, or at this point care. "Nice tattoo's, very good line work. How old are you exactly? And how much do you know about warfare?" He couldn't help but grin as he turned his back to her, slipping out of his white shirt to reveal a multitude of scars crisscrossing his back. It was obvious what they were. Lashes. Although there was one on his shoulder that was different, more jagged, somehow deeper looking. On his neck, just barely noticeable was a dark blue tattoo of a simple sign. Memory. He glanced over his shoulder once before stripping himself of the rest of his clothes, tilting his head and spreading his arms before the vampire. "Hm. I've been in a cage too long." Sinewy muscles flowed throughout his abdomen, all along his arms. "I don't have the muscles I used to have. Bastards."

"Ive been around for over five thousand years, and am well versed in all warfare, a dozen blackbelts could corner me in a dark alleyway and i could walk out wearing a coat made of their belts, there isnt a gun on this planet i cant shoot, a blade i cant use, or a car i cannot drive." She smiled, "I have no muscle either, but then again, my strength doesnt come from the physical, it comes from my blood." She smiled and leaned against the wall, arching her back as gracefully as a dancer, she was the ultimate wolf in sheeps clothing, to any ordinary man, she would appear to be a extraordinarily beautiful woman, not a ruthless killing machine, she fluttered here eylashes, and smiled at the neko as she bit her lip, he had no idea what she had in store for him.

The way she had so much confidence in herself, and the fact that her power did come from blood instead of muscles sent shivers running laps down his spine. The warm water didn't help either. "Good to hear. None of my other owners could fight....... no fun. They did however love to show off their strength." He shook his head, chuckling, tilting his head as he noticed her smiling at him. She had something planned. The neko sighed in resignment, looking her in the eyes. "You're planning something, I can tell it. But since you told me so much about you, I feel you should know this. I can't bleed out. I can't be bled to death." He chuckled lightly, turning his back to her again, putting his hands around his neck, covering the tattoo. "It's my ace in the hole."

Alisa licked her fangs at this prospect, she walked over to the neko and put one of her long fingered hands on his shoulder, and whispered in his ear in a haunting tone, her voice was like the wind, she let him have a taste of her power, vampires were the ultimate predators because of this, they were not just strong psychically, but mentally as well, they could make anyone, do anything they wanted to, the could control the will of any living creature, and the stronger ones could even control other vampires, "So, my neko friend, your kind, your blood, it has magical properties, all are different, so no two are the same, and it is said, that if i drink your blood, i gain some of your magical properties, so tell me." She pulled his body against hers and gently brushed her razor sharp fangs across his neck, "What are yours?" She licked his neck.

Trystan shivered, narrowing his eyes when she grasped his shoulder and whispered words into his ear. My magical skill is non-existant. The only magical thing about me is that my blood doesn't run out." He looked at her with his eyes only slightly muddled. "And your mind control will only be so effective. I've spent about 36 years building up my defenses to this thing. When you fight for your freedom, you have to be prepared to fight the enemy." He turned in her arms, pressing himself against her, tilting his head and letting his own tiny fangs scrape along her throat. "I'm not sure what you would gain by biting me..... Heheh, I am a soldier, nothing more." He slowly wrapped his arms around her waist, looking up at her, his green eyes slowly becoming more cloudy. He'd always wondered what it would feel like to be hypnotised. This one didn't seem intent on killing him yet, so he didn't fight it as hard.

Alisa pursed her lips "Thats too bad." She gazed into his eyes, bearing her soul to him, he was fearless, so she figured she would stop hiding her aura, she clicked off the imaginary switch, and instantly the room got below freezing cold, the water pouring from the shower head turned to snow, "You are fearless in the face of death itself little neko, such a noble creature, im liking you more by the minute." The floor was now covered in ice, "So tell me, have you ever met a vampire like me before?" she smiled, and it seemed as if her fangs had become slightly longer, she was no longer suppressing her aura, the full magnitude of it was leaking out, the glass shower door started to vibrate, she wanted to let the neko know he was safe with her and didnt have to fight anymore, but she didnt want to terrify him, her eyes slowly shaded over to black, the whole eyeball turned black, "This is the real Alisa, the one that only few see, and fewer see and live, but dont worry love, you will be surviving this encounter." Her voice became less like the wind, and more like something straight out of hell, "You are safe with me, you need not fight anymore."

The sudden change of air jolted him slightly out of his haze, and almost as if reliving a memory, his right hand reached for a weapon that wasn't there. Almost coming back to his senses, his arms wrapped around her waist again, his eyes narrowing as he focused on his body heat. Slowly it rose, and the snow around his feet melted steadily. "I was trained to be fearless. Freedom is a wonderful thing to fight for." His face was different somehow though, harder. He'd experienced this magnitude of power only once before.... and it had killed his entire division. Damned High command wouldn't let him go on that mission. With a deep exhale, he let the memory fade away, relinquishing his grip on his mind, leaning against her slightly. Before he went all the way under however, he whispered something. "Don't do anything stupid."

Alisa flipped the switch back on, and the room instantly warmed up, the ice melted, she held the little neko close, closing her eyes, she felt something inside him harden up for a second, she couldnt figure out what it was entirely, but she intended to, she cooed to him gently, "I hope i didnt frighten or hurt you too much, i just wanted to make you feel safe, and the only way to do so was to show you my true power, i am sorry." She pulled him in close and held him, turning him to the warm water, letting it run down his skin, warming him, for her own skin was ice cold, she wished her own touch could warm him, sometimes she wished, that just for a day, she could be human.

The little neko smiled, shaking his head as his mind wandered back to him. "Bah, after a few years of being owned by the same creatures whom you'd killed, and who'd tried to kill you, you stop feeling safe anywhere. Wars are a dangerous thing." He nuzzled into her embrace, and the more he focused, the warmer he got. He looked up at her, tilting his head. "Why is it you're so nice? Not very many vampires like you." He chuckled, realizing what he'd just said. "I suppose that's why. Listen, I appreciate the worry you seem to have for me, but I'd like to think I can handle myself." That wasn't to say he didn't like being fretted over. It was a nice change of pace.

Alisa smiled, "Its time to go my little friend." She stepped out of the shower, and grabbed a towl and dried her ice cold skin, "There are some clothes that will fit you, in my closet, we will go eat after tonights events." she strode off into her bedroom, and selected a leather jumpsuit, and some knee high boots, she slipped into them ever so gracefully, then she walked over to a table next to her gigantic bed, she opened a drawer, sifted through some keys, and found the set with a chevrolet logo on it, she quickly pocketed them, "I will meet you out front." She said as she strode off downstairs and into the garage, she walked over to the camaro and cranked it over, the vehicle roared to life, it had a exhaust note like that of a demons growl, she idled the car out of the garage and pulled it up next to the front door, the cars idle from the massive power of the engine caused it to gently shake, the back tires were two feet wide, and made to grip, the front tires were half that width, the whole entirety of the vehicle was black, not a single thing on this car was chrome, the only chrome on this car was the shift knob, she gently revved it and the car shook a little more.

Trystan smiled at her warmly, following her out of the shower and toweling himself off. "Heh, food sounds good." He was a little surprised by her choice in clothes however. Leather? Either she was quite the dominatrix, or she was trying to be a bad girl. He chuckled to himself, rummaging through the closet and pulling out a pair of jeans, a long sleeved shirt, and a pitch-black hoodie with pockets. He didn't like to stand out. He'd much rather go unnoticed in large crowds, which he was imagining would be at this meet. After a few seconds of consideration, he grinned to himself, pulling a small necklace out from the fluff of his tail. It had been just below where Alisa had grabbed him on the staircase. He slipped it on while he raced down the stairs, grabbing a pair of black sneakers, slipping them on before sliding into the garage. There he was met with the sight of the incredibly clean Camaro. It was all monochrome, which he normally didn't like, but it was kept in good enough shape to be shiny and attractive. He only slightly jumped when she revved the engine at him. "Alright, alright I'm coming!" In a flash, he hopped in, closing the door behind him and smiling widely at her. "Well, let's get this show on the road huh?"

She revved the engine high and shifted it into gear, the engine bogged down, and the tires stuck to the ground, the front end lifted up and they took off, the car was not screaming like the exotic, it was roaring, she quickly shifted gears and the front end hit the ground hard, they took off down her driveway and when she got to the highway, she pushed Trystan into the seat as she slid the car sideways onto a narrow road, the back end of the car was nearly completly sideways, she yanked the wheel the opposite direction and the car whipped straight and took off, she kept shifting gears, there was a motorcycle cop on the side of the road, a devilish grin crossed alisas face, she flipped a switch on the console and a loud woosh sound was heard, she pressed a button, and a high pitched hissing was heard, as the car peeled out and rocketed by the cop, quite literally blowing him and his motorcycle over. Alisa laughed, "Thats always so much fun." She said as she brought the car down to a cruising pace, she rolled down the windows and let the air sea air fill the car, she looked at Trystan and smiled.

He went wide-eyed when the front end lifted off the ground, the engine roaring like an uncaged beast. One thing he couldn't deny, she was a very experienced driver. The way she slammed the turns and somehow managed not to lose control of the machine amazed him. Of course, he saw the cop and started to laugh when he saw the mischievous grin on the vampire's face. Even though he didn't know much about cars, he did know the sound of fluid rushing through the motor, and by the way it sped up, he could guess that it was nitro. He could just barely catch the face of the cop as they sped away, and that sent him over the edge, doubling over in the seat as he laughed so hard he started to tear up. "Oh, oh God, yes, we have got to do that more often." He wiped a tear from his eyes, taking a deep breath of air. "Heheh, so, where are we going exactly?"
