The Guardian and the Mage(Anaeria and ShadowBlaze27)

Kieth had prepared himself to hear some kind of protest about picking her up so suddenly, but her words made him start laughing heavily. He made sure to not shake or drop her as he laughed. He'd never actually noticed how symmetrically the house was built until she just pointed it out. "Unless I'm forgetting something, you haven't offended me yet." He said once his layghter subsided.

Wish a smile on his face he carried her to the front door and gently lowered her feet to the ground so he could reach into his pocket for his key. Once the door was opened he lifted her into his arms again and carried her inside. After shutting the door he carried her into the livingroom where he laid her on the only couch in the room, it was made of smooth black leather.

"I'll be right back with the first aid kit." He said before he left the room and headed up the stairs.

The human, laughing, startled her and Imalia stiffened in his arms, eyes wide and dazed as she peered at him. However she relaxed at his reassurance that she hadn't offended him. Although....to be honest with herself as she always tried to be, offending him wouldn't truly bother her so much.

When Kieth set her down slightly in order to dig a key from his pocket, she bit her lower lip as her legs began to slide out from under her again and nearly made her fall over like a boneless puppet once more, and then he was picking her up and they were inside the place he called his home. Immediately, the woman shivered at the tight feeling space of the hallway, walled in on all sides once the door shut behind him, but when he entered a large, square room with strange furnishings, she managed to relax again as he set her down upon an odd seating thing. Imalia went wide eyed again as she sank into the cushioning, and she watched him leave the room in order to find something that was called a First Aid Kit, something she had never heard of before. Her leg was bleeding freely now, and she cursed her magic level, if it was higher she wouldn't have injured herself at all, and her bleeding would have stopped and her wound would have healed now. Looking about the room then, most of the things there madde no sense to her eyes and she sank back into the couch cautiously, drawing her legs up to her chest, ignoring the sting of the scrape to her leg.

The livingroom was furnished with the couch she was on, an arnchair,, and a loveseat. There were several pictures of him and his family all around the room There was even a vase of flowers sitting on the table in front of her. Kieth returnef a few minutes later with the first aid kit, it was the traditional red and white box.

"I'm going to disinfect your leg then I'll use magic to heal the wound." He explained as he placed the first aid kit on the table and rummaged in it to grab the disinfectant and a cotton ball. She would probably dislike the strong smell of the disinfectant as he opened it. "This'll probably sting." He warned before he began to dab the disinfectant onto her damaged knee.

Indeed, the scent of the disinfectant was not enjoyable, and she wrinkled her nose at it and leaned away a little as he opened the bottle. However, when he began to dab it onto her leg, she jumped, not from the sting so much as the cold of the cotton ball with the strongly scented stuff on it. Blinking at him in surprise, the small stabs of pain along her knee where the disinfectant began to work its own form of magic distracting her, bringing her back to the present and out of her daze somewhat. ".....Thank you human..." Slowly, so as to not surprise him, she stretched her leg out slightly and then stretched it out fully so he could have better access.

"You are....a strange human." Frowning as she considered her next words, Imalia pursed her lips slightly in order to stop herself then shook her head "Why do you offer aid? Even last night in the forest, you offered me your own clothing.....why?"

"Why did I try to help you last night? Because I saw you were cold and wanted to help you. It's really that simple." Kieth said distractedly as he focused on cleaning out the wound on her leg before he placed a hand above her wound and it began to emit a light green glow. He was actually very good at healing and enhancing things through magic, his offense just was very average.

"I help because it's the right thing to do." He said with an amused smile. He didn't seem offended by her calling him strange, it actuslly amused him.

"...You are the first to speak as such....I appologize for how I reacted again." Genuinely confused now, his treatment of her completely different to her memories of humanity before the Dark Space. His magic was pleasant as well, it didn't prickle and sting like humans' magic did to her as a child when she had come across a trap one day when she had come too close to the edge of the forest.

"You...do you have a name? I am Imalia, of the Forest of the Gods. The humans I hold memories of are....vile. Vicious creatures whose lust for power are unending. I do not know how long your world has been evolving since my world was taken to the Dark Space but.....it seems much longer than a thousand years have passed in this world....I am completely confused." Indeed, she was getting a headache from the thoughts running about her head. The humans' hand over her knee as it healed was entirely pleasant however, she could feel the warmth from his flesh and his amusement was actually quite....quite fascinating to the Unician woman, who looked at him, utterly lost.

"My name is Kieth and I'm sad to say that there are still countless humans who only seek greater power. Those who are willing to show kindness to something that threatened them are far less numerous." Kieth was unaware of the fact that his healing felt different from that of every other human, but he had heard once that intention was visible in both your aura and the sensation of your magic. Since he couldn't see his own aura he couldn't verify that either.

"I'm not sure as to where the Forest of the Gods is. I've never heard of it or your species before today so a long time has definitely passed." He wanted to ask what the Dark Space was, but he decided to save that question for after she got some rest. Once he finished healing her knee he stopped the flow of magic from his hand and looked her over for any more wounds, his blush having made a sudden return.

"Thank you....Kieth. You are an odd human indeed, to admit that your race is not perfect." Offering a small smile, she leaned forwards and actually relaxed somewhat.

His redness to his cheeks once again was something that Imalia couldn't help but reach out and touch her hands to his cheeks. "You are red again, does your magic create it?" Curious about him now that he had proven himself not a threat, she slid forwards on the soft and fluffy couch, her leg sliding off the edge and touching the ground with her other as he drew his magics back.

"The redness of my cheeks is just a natural reaction that shows I'm surprised, embarrassed, or angry. In this case it's embarassed." Kieth had to fight to not have his blush worsen when she touched him. At least her talking made his eyes focus on her face and not her nude body.

"You're welcome, Imalia and for once I don't mind being considered odd." He said with a smile of his own. He refrained from commenting on how her smile actually looked nice. "Are you hurt anywhere else?" He asked with an arched eyebrow.

"You don't mind? No....no I'm not injured anywhere else...just very low in power. I will be alright with rest." Her words a murmur as she touched his cheeks, feeling the heat from his blush as she touched him and marvelled somewhat at the feeling of his skin against her own more sensitive human digits.

"Truly, you are an amazing creature. You do not take offence at a wrong I have done you, you laugh at the sight of your own home and my words, and you offer to help me when I am in need, as well as heal me. Most odd indeed." Tilting her head as she drew her hands back to herself, Imalia responded to his smile with a blink, and another smile of her own before she looked about herself, visibly checking for wounds and only finding some vague bruises on her hip and what felt like one on her bottom, though she obviously couldn't see that. "I am bruised, but not injured, thank you for asking.....do you...." Looking thoughtful again, she put her words together slowly, then spoke aloud "Do you hold questions for me, Kieth? I am willing to answer them as best I can if you do."

Kieth's blush, which had been fading, returned with even more intensity when she called him amazing. "Of course I have questions for you, but those can wait until after you've rested and eaten." He would've offered to heal her bruises, but her tone made him decide to not do so.

"I know the couch probably won't be very comfortable while you sleep so I can offer you a bed to sleep in." He said as he slowly rose to his feet and held a hand out to help her stand. He recalled her lack of sleep and decided to carry her upstairs if she agreed.

Blinking again, she seemed to be doing that alot, Imalia looked at his hand as he spoke of a bed instead of the oddly comfortable black thing she was sitting on, called a couch apparently. Taking his hand after a moment, she let him help her up and then swayed, one hand going to her head as vertigo hit with a vengeance and forced her back to the couch. "Mnf....damn....I wouldn't...wouldn't mind some help...or I can sleep here..this seems to be quite comfortable...." Trailing off as she swayed where she sat on the couch, the dark haired woman shook her head slowly after a moment then looked up at Kieth and offered a smile. "I do not wish to impose on you too much, the...couch..? Here, will be alright if you do not wish to carry me again, I am fairly heavy, I know that, and I do not wish to hurt you."

Granted, he didn't look like he was frail or weak, but she had noticed something when he had picked her up last time....she hadn't been repulsed. In fact, she had almost come to welcome his touch, something that her mind shied away from like a horse scenting a wolf nearby.

"The couch isn't bad, but my bed is far more comfortable." Kieth said with a laugh when she landed on the couch again. "Even if you were heavy, which you aren't, I could just use magic to make you lighter or to make myself stronger." Kieth explained as he gently pulled her onto her feet before he scooped her back up into his arms. He honestly didn't mind carrying her, he actually found how light she was as quite interesting.

"If you want I'll tend to your bruises after you get some much needed sleep." Kieth said as he carried her up the stairs and into the room at the end of the hall. They were now in his room and his scent was quite noticable especially when he crossed the room and laid her on the queen-sized bed. His bed was his second favorite part of the house and it was large and comfortable.

Now she blushed, her cheeks turning a light pink as she considered his magic going near her hindquarters. His magic was pleasant, and his having touched her as he picked her up would show that her temperature was up a little, her body reacting to his energy by creating more within herself at a faster rate, something it had never done before and placed a tax on her body somewhat. Her arms went about his neck as he lifted Imalia, and the dark haired woman ducked her head a little as she felt her cheeks heat up somewhat, thinking that she was getting a fever. "I....I would not say no...but they are just bruises Kieth, not injuries as far as bleeding and the like, they will heal soon enough...and one is...well, on my hind end."

Speaking as blandly as she could, she looked at him with a somewhat calm expression as he entered the room, then turned to look as he approached the bed, something that she had exprected to be like her own; made of thick straw and scented herbs or similar, but the immense expanse of padding that he placed her one had the Unician looking at it in surprise, stunned into stillness for a moment until she got her bearings....and then bounced on it lightly, uttering a squeak as her one bounce ended in four smaller consecutive ones. On all fours by then, her hands out to brace herself and her ass in the air, she looked up at him with wide eyes then back at the bed and lifted her hand lightly from the matress, then began to explore it slowly, moving unsteadily as her lack of strength and the softness of the bed made her....well, sort of stagger around the bed in a small circle. "This...this is a bed?! What is it made of? Clouds? Water bubbles? Cotton? It is so soft!"

Kieth had blushed when she told him of the bruise on her hind end. She'd miss his blush since she was pressed so tightly against his chest, something he hadn't expected when he picked her up. He could use his magic to heal the bruise without having to get near her behind, but that would be far more taxing on him, something he suspected she knew.

He couldn't help but laugh as she explored the bed and seemed to approve of it. He was of course quite aware of the fact that she was naked and on all fours, but he tried to be polite and keep his eyes on her face whenever he could. "I'm glad you like it, and I'd prefer not explaining what it's made of, just know it's not clouds." He said as he reached out to touch her side to help steady her.

His touch to her side startled her, and Imalia looked up at him quickly. Perhaps a little too quickly as the room spun and she closed her eyes with a quiet groan. "Damn....dizzy....not fun." His hand on her side was warm, pleasantly so, and her body reacted with a small wave of goosebumps at the difference in temperature; her cool body with a single point of heat where his hand touched her to help her get steady.

Sinking onto her side on the bed, the Unician female curled into a ball, exhaustion clear as her vertigo stopped, and she touched his hand lightly with her own more dainty seeming one. "You're warm...I thought humans were all cold..." Sliding his hand up as she felt herself growing sleepy, completely comfortable in the soft, fluffy seeming bed, she pressed his hand to her cheek and nuzzled it quietly, breathing in his strange scent and finding it to be rather more pleasant than she had expected it to be. He smelled like the forest that he liked to wander in, and he smelled good, something like oranges but not, a good scent.

Kieth was surprised by how cool her body was, he absently thought that she'd be great to sleep with during the summer. With a shake of his head he gave her an amused grin and gently rubbed her cheek. "I thought we'd already established that I'm an oddity amongst my species." He said as he studied her face.

He'd stay there gently rubbing her cheek until she fell asleep. After that he decided he would go downstairs to sleep on the couch. Hs didn't realize how sleepy he was until a yawn escaped his mouth.

Seeing his yawn through sleep-hazed eyes, Imalia shifted on the bed lightly and then patted it limply with her hand. Yawning herself as she absently nuzzled his hand, she said "Join me here, I do not wish you to be uncomfortable Kieth...." Her words were sleep-slurred somewhat, but she looked at him fairly steadily, liking the warmth of his hand on her cheek and how he moved his fingers over her skin. He truly was a strange creature, to offer aid to her and heal her, her memories of humans weren't faded from her time within the Dark Space, if anything they were still clear as crystal, but this human was....amazing.

Her hatred of humans was legendary amongst her fellow forest dwellers, and she had sworn to kill them all if she ever got ahold of one, but this human had confused her, puzzled her entirely and royally turned her hatred upside down. Not that she wouldn't kill any other hhumans, those that attempted to harm her, but her hate had begun to fade somewhat already, within a matter of hours upon her return to the world, and perhaps...just perhaps she wouldn't hurt those whom showed her kindness in return.

If his bed was any smaller or less comfortable Kieth would've found some excuse as to why he couldn't share the bed with her. Since he couldn't think up an excuse he just smiled and nodded as he knelt to remove his shoes before he laid on the bed where she'd patted.

"I'll make us something to eat when we wake up." He said as he cautiously rested his hand on her waist yet kept a respectable distance between their bodies. He couldn't help but be fascinated by the contrast between their body temperatures.

Imalia blinked sleepily at his talk about food, then smiled slightly and nodded, already sliding into slumber. Within moments however, of falling asleep, she shifted closer to him, her body pressing up against his coolly, attracted by his warmth. She was dreaming too, something that she hadn't done since before she had been placed within the Dark Space, dreaming of a beautiful forest clearing, warm sunlight on her flesh as she lay in the middle of it, soaking up the light and the warmth and feeling oddly content for the first time in over a thousand years.

Her memories of that time were far and away from her in that dream, and in real life she curled in close to Kieth, her nose touching his chest with a faint murmur of approval at the scent that was his own.

It took longer for Kieth to fall asleep and during that time he absenyly rubbed her side and smiled at how she moved closer to his warmth. When he did fall asleep he dreamed of the spring day years ago when he first found the ancient tree that they meet under. That day he'd spent all day just drawing and those were still pictures he looked at even now.

He'd sleep for 6 or 7 hours during which his arms would find their way around her waist to close the last bit of distance between them.

Imalia woke up slowly, several hours later, a cool breeze from the open window in the room sliding cool fingers along her spine, a direction opposite to her warm companion who was sleeping beside her as yet. She could feel something heavy laying along her waist, a hand on her bottom, and she snuggled close for a moment before she opened her eyes to find herself in the arms of the human who had helped her.

Her dream had been immensely relaxing, and though her magic was still low, it wasn't dangerously so as it had been before, and she was the stronger for it. Still half asleep, she nuzzled his chest where her nose had found it's way, a soft murmur of pleasure leaving her lips before she blinked and began to awaken further. Imalia had no problems with how they were placed, her mind focused on the benefits of this position; that he was warm and she was cool, and he felt nice against her, though his hand was on her ass and the sensation was odd, it was also somewhat pleasant...something that she could allow further. ".....Mmph.....hello...." Speaking a bit sluggishly, she looked up at the human who held onto her, her hand moving to his chest where his heart beat steadily, a soft thump thump against her palm.

Kieth unconsciously gave her bottom a squeeze as he began to wake up. The first thing he noticed was how much cooler he felt, something that he took as a sign that he'd slept longer than planned. It took him squeezing her bottom again for his eyes to snap open and his heart beat to suddenly speed up as he realized the position they were in.

"Hey..."Was all he could say as he looked down into her eyes with a small embarassed smile. Since his hand was already on his behind he began chanelling his magic to heal the bruise she said was there.

Feeling the soft sensation of his magic being used on her bruise, which he had groped a little, twice, Imalia blinked in response to his mumbled greeting and then smiled and buried her head into his shoulder lightly, liking his scent too much to want to move just yet. Plus his hand on her butt was actually quite nice, though his magic was also pleasant as it healed the bruises there. "Mmm....good morning....or...evening...whichever it is..." Nuzzling his skin a bit, not knowing how that may affect the human male, she smiled into his skin before she pulled back lightly and stretched, her breasts pressing to his chest as her bruises were all healed up.

"Thank you...I did say they would heal on their own though you know..." Her tone mildly amused as she woke up fully, she rested her head on one hand, turned sideways so she could look at him, still pressed together from the belly down, and somehow her leg had gotten between his and pressed upwards a little, so she could feel that he was definitely male.

An audible groan escaped his lips when she nuzzled the side of his neck, but he didn't let it interfere with his healing. He considered himself lucky that he still had his clothes on since her breasts against his chest and then her thigh against his groin were both very well received by his body as she could tell by his hardening erection.

"I know it would've healed with time, but my hand found it's way there so i decided i might as well heal it." He explained as he quickly moved his hand from her butt to her lowerback as his eyes looked down at her legs. "I should probably go take a cold shower..." He muttered to himself loud enough for her to still hear.

It was early evening and the sun had set only a few minutes ago.
