"Do you like romance to or are you different then others?" he asked. He looked at the tattoo with the family crest and his initials below it. "Lillian, I don't care that you have a tattoo with my initials below it. And what matters most to you? What I think about it or what that society things about it?" he said on a defensive way. He knew that his father wanted that he slept with Lillian everyday but he just tried to ignore that fact. For him all people were equals and nobody was different then anybody else. But that wasn't the reality at the moment so he was one of the few that had that opinion about it.

Looking back at him over her shoulder as she shrugged. "I wasn't given a chance to voice anything out, Marcus." She said as she sat down beside him running her hand over her face. "I love the idea of romance and not rushing things. I love having a choice but..." She said as she closed her eyes not sure what to say right now.

"Come on, this is crap. You have a opinion about something and you have choice!" he shouted. He hated the fact that slaves didn't had anything to say in this unfair world. He wanted to change something about that but he was one of the few. "With me... you have a choice," he said to make her feel comfortable when she was around him.

When he shouted she jumped and when she jumped she fell off his bed and landed on her butt. Looking up at him as he pointed out he didn't want her to act like a slave but a human being around him. She understood what he wanted but she wasn't sure if she could give it to him. Sighing as she looked down smirking softly as she looked up at him. "I want things to progress between us more than... Me being a vessal of your child. I want to be in love, Marcus." She said as she oved to her feet dustng her butt off.

When she said that she wanted to be in love, he smiled. "Finally, you start to understand me," he said. "I also don't want a forced relationship. And then the people call their selves advanced and though they act so stupid." He smiled at the ebony girl. He really liked that she was ebony. It was some of his turn on's. He couldn't stop smiling and then he asked: "So, what do you want to do?"

Lillian was white but she been outside so much she had a dark tan. When he asked what she wanted to do her heart ached. "I understood what you wanted, Marcus. You weren't listening to what I was saying. When slaves act out they are put in their place and right now... I want to find out who I am." She said as she walked out of his room. He basically gave her an order for her to be herself with him but the thing was, she didn't know who she was.

Marcus ran after her and said: "Wait, Lillian! I'm going to give you some stuff and if you want we can go look for yourself? I can get us everything we need. So we can go everywhere." He smiled at her. He really wanted to help this girl to find out who she really is. Being mad at his father for the buying of a innocent girl, he walked towards Lillian and gave her a hug. "I'm always here for you," Marcus said.

With him running up behind her she turned to face him. She was trying to figure out what he was saying. "Wait, what are you talking about?" She asked right before he hugged her. Blushing as she knew he had the skill to get any woman he wanted but yet he was a virgin. "Marcus, why are you still a virgin?"

"Well, I know that you want to know more about yourself. So we can go look for something about your past?" he answered. "And I'm virgin because I don't want to sleep with the first girl that I see. I don't care if she is the prettiest and richest girl in the world, then I'm not going to sleep with her if I don't really want that. I'm also not going to sleep with that same girl if she paid me." Marcus was being honest to Lillian. He hoped that this was a good answer to her question.

At this point she felt like he was being desperate on trying to stay close to her. Pulling back from him seeing he wasn't understanding. "Marcus! I don't give a damn about my past!" She snapped at him hoping he'd shut up and listen. "You lived with a priviledged life so you got to do everything you wanted. But me...It was work, work, work. I don't know what I would like to do like drawing, painting, horse back riding...THOSE things."

Marcus was startled when she snapped at him. He knew that if his father was going to find out that she snapped at him, she was going to be punished. "Do you think that I've chosen for living this life?" Marcus asked. Sometimes he didn't want to be the rich guy but just a normal guy, who could do normal things. "And it wasn't me who made you a slave... I never want something like this to happen!"
