A unknowing shapeshifter [Flux&nightsorceress]

Nicholas slept until 6 AM and then he woke up. He got out of bed and walked out of his room, down the stairs and headed for the kitchen. When he took out a pan, he already took some eggs and started to cook some eggs. Out of the fridge, he took some bacon and he looked for another pan and started to make some bacon. He hoped that Aurora was going to wake up before that everything was ready so that she could also eat from this breakfast.
 
Aurora slept through the night fairly peacefully. The smell of bacon cooking was what woke her. At first it took her a moment to remember where she was but soon remember and climbed out of bed. She slipped back on her dress from yesterday and went down stairs and into the kitchen. "good morning"
 
"Good morning, Princess," he said when she was in the kitchen. Breakfast was ready and he took two plates. He laid the eggs on it and then the bacon. "Do you like some fresh orange juice?" he asked while he took two oranges and started to make a can of juice.

Today was the day that they were going to shop together for clothes and for some new furniture for in Aurora's room. This could also be a good day to learn how to trust each other. Nicholas already trusted her but Aurora didn't trust him good enough to open up for him completely.
 
Aurora smiled as he said good morning. She was going to offer to help him but she could see everything was already ready. "some juice would great thank you" as he moved around the kitchen she noticed something she had not noticed before, his scents was attractive to her. She didnt understand how she could smell him over the bacon but she could and her noisae twitched a little
 
He had the orange juice pretty fast because he made it everyday. He gave her a plate with the eggs and the bacon and also a empty glass. He putted the can with orange juice on the table and took his own plate as he said on the other side of the table. "Here you go," he said. He smiled at her, "How was your night?" he asked curious about how she slept in the new place. He thought that she had slept bad because she wasn't in her own bed or something like that.
 
She took the plate and the orange juice, "everything looks really good,nthank you" she began to eat a little and drink the juice she smiled at him. "everything is really good, and I slept pretty well" she ate some more but then stopped and looked at him "would you mind if I asked you some question about what you are"
 
"Well, I'm going to answer the question very simple. I'm a Old Generation Werewolf just like you. We are one of the few with the true Werewolf gene in us. Before I lived her, I was the Tribal Guardian. That meant that I needed to protect the entire Tribe with my life, whatever happened," he said with a smile. "And my mission is to make sure that all of the strong werewolves stay alive and that our breed will be continued on this world."
Nicholas smiled at Aurora, hoping that this would do it.
 
Aurora bit her lip a moment, "We'll how much wolves are you, and how much like humans are you, I am still a little confused on that. Like do you live in a pack, it almost sounded that way, and if so are you living in a pack now? How much do you live in the society of man, do you like your own rules?... I am sorry am just trying to make sense of it all, plus I really am not sure if I am like you, I can not shape shift into a wolf"
 
He smiled. "I'm not living in a pack anymore, I lived in a pack when I was younger. And I'm just as normal as you. Nothing more, nothing less," he said. "And I'm just a person who works in a company. I'm not somebody really special. And you can shift in a wolf but you seemed not to have discovered your genes yet. But that will come. Time will learn us everything," he said. He smiled at her once again and he winked. "So, any other questions?"
 
She bit her lip once again not sure how to bring up the next question."well abouut mating, it seems to happen at certain times, like how often, is it the only time a female can get pregnant, and if she does mate is it almost guaranteed she will get pregnant?"
 
He laughed when she asked that. "It's once in a year when the sun has reached the point when the distance between Mars and the sun is the largest. Then the mating season starts. This can happen twice but that's uncommon. And the females can get pregnant all the time but in the mating season they look for their partner. But once she had slept with one, she needs to be with that one for the rest of her life. But that works out every time and the chances that they get pregnant just increase. Instead of 24%, the chances are 65%," he said as he smiled to her.
 
Aurora drew a deep breath as he explained it all, she no longer felt like it and pushed her plate away. She looked at him, I guess that answer a lot of my questions," she finally said
 
"Ow... It seems that you aren't really happy with what I've said?" Nicholas said as he saw her pushing the plate away. He hoped that she wasn't going to hate him because the fact that he spoke the truth to her. He just hoped that this was going to bring them closer to each other.
 
She looked up at him and shook her head wildly "no no its not you, it just..."she looked down again "I am afraid because I am falling for you, I worry that if I fall and further I may do something I decided a long time ago I did not want" she looked at him "I don't want to have children, I do t want to ever run the risk that my child would have to grow up as I did, it's an unbearable life, and since I have no family if something were to happen to me my child would be have to endure what I did"
 
"Do you really think that I'm going to take advantage of your feelings for me?" Nicholas asked. He wasn't going to do that, no that was beneath him. He was a honest man that only did things that came straight from the heart. "I understand that but I'm going to help you with everything. Even if you prefer somebody else above me, I'm still going to be there for you." He meant every single word that he said to her.
 
"no I don't think you were going to take advantage of me, in fact I think your wonderful and that's the problem, I am afraid someday i may want to be more then just friend, I may want to stay with you forever, and want that happily ever after, with children, and I will forget my better judgement" aurora bit her lip again
 
Nicholas sighed. "Well, if you really don't want to go further then friends, then I'll do my best to make sure that there will be no line that will get crossed," he said with a bit of a sad face. "I don't want you to feel bad."
 
She looked down tears in her eyes. "I....I do want to be more the friends, at least based on what I already know about you, and feel for you. What do we do Nicolas?"she looked up at him her eyes searching his for the answer
 
"Well. I also want to be more then friends with you but I don't want to bring any harm to you. I just want that you feel the way you like to feel," Nicholas said. "I don't want you to feel bad at all. You are young, you need to be happy." Nicholas smiled at her, at least, he tried to smile to her.
 
"I am not afraid you will harm, in fact I trust, and your not the problem at all, I guess I have spent years alone and years being let down by everyone around me, that I have built ways to keep that from happening, and one way not having children, sine if something happen to me they would be alone" she sighed a little
 
"Well, you can rebuild your life right here, right now," Nicholas said with a smile. "And I'm going to help you with that! But you really need to eat something, Princess." He liked it even more then he liked it first, calling her Princess. She really looked like a Princess but that was something that he wasn't going to say to her because that could make it a bit more uncomfortable between them.
 
She smiled at the idea of rebuilding her life, she liked the idea even more rebuilding it with him. She looked at him and the food she made a cute face. "I am really not hungry, so if you still go out we can" she smiled at him slightly.

A few weeks later, Aurora and Nicholas were very close. The mating season was reaching his upper point and now most of the wolfs were looking very fast for their mates. Nicholas had asked if Aurora wanted to swim with him, naked. Aurora said yes when he asked that because they had slept once in the same bed without that something happened, although they were naked and touched each other. She didn't cared if he saw her naked in the shower or if she was dressing herself. Most of the time they both walked around in their underwear. "So, Aurora? Do you have all the stuff to go to the lake?" Nicholas asked.
 
She had fallen hard and fast for Nicolas, part offer thought she loved him, but was to shy to say in case he did not feel the same. She was comfortable with him even so much as sharing a bed with him, and prancing around almost naked. They were getting ready to go the lake and she couldn't wait. "yes I am ready, got a change of clothes, and towels, and I even packed us a little picnic"
 
He had also fallen for Aurora and he never tried to seduce her anymore because it was going well. "Okay!" he shouted. He took a bag where he had put some blankets in where they could sit on. "I already have bag for our stuff!" he shouted towards his princess. Swimming naked with a younger girl, the dream of every gentlemen, was going to happen to Nicholas.
