Beauty for the Beast [with nightsorceress]

Michael finished his coffee, and looked at Aurora, "Follow me," and then led her upstairs to the balcony that was above the main entrance to the house. "As far as you can see, that is Sherwood, and will be yours too after we get married," his hazel eyes looked into hers as his left arm was around her waist, his left hand over her belly and belly button. "The monastery is down the valley, that way," he pointed where Father Martin's monastery was located. "I am quite happy, my darling, and I love you very much."

Aurora set cup down and followed him up the stairs to the balcony she smiled at the beautiful land that lay before them. She leaned against him taking it all in "it is wonderful but even you were penniless and had nothing I would still be as happy as I am right now"

Michael smiled, as he felt her lean against him, his left arm still around her waist, "I am glad you feel that way Aurora, for now you don't have to dress like you are at the royal court...it can me more like the country we live in. Though, of course, there will be times when the more formal, royal dress will be needed." He took in a breath of fresh air, and then heard Wambaugh calling, "Breakfast is served." He then looked at Aurora, "Shall we," and then he turned to go downstairs. The smell of the breakfast Wambaugh prepared for them already had escaped out onto the balcony and mixed with the fresh air.

Aurora laughed a bit, "I wouldn't mind wearing simpler clothes the problem is I don't have any my father made sure I would have enough fancy dresses so I was always seen as a proper lady." She smelled the food as Wambaugh called and it smelled wonderful she made her way back downstairs with Michael

Michael escorted her downstairs into the main dining room, on the way down stairs he looked at her, "That will change from this day," he then attended her chair and then sat down at his spot at the table. Wambaugh began serving them breakfast, and filled their coffee cups. "We'll be going into the village and then the monastery, Wambaugh," Michael looked at him. "To visit Father Martin, and also to obtain some simpler fashions for Aurora." Wambaugh smiled softly, "Indeed," and then disappeared into the kitchen. Michael looked at her, "Please inform Wambaugh of anything special you need for our getting married."

Aurora took a seat in the chair and thanked him. She then thanked Wambaugh as he brought the food it smelled very good. "The only thing I need is you Michael nothing else matters."

Michael looked over at her, "You're quite sure of no other preparations?" He sipped on his coffee in between bites of the food Wambaugh had prepared. He was pleasantly surprised, and did not pursue the matter further. Wambaugn came out to clear the table and looked at Michael, "The carriage is ready for you and Aurora," Michael nodded, "Very good, we'll depart after you're finished in the kitchen." Wambaugh was also his personal driver when he used the carriage, though most times Michael chose horseback.

Air or shook here head she needed to prepare nothing else. She looked at him, "perhaps you can send word to my father letting him know we married, after all this was not what he had planned when he sent me to stay with you,"

Michael smiled slyly, "That I would love to do...I am sure your father least expected you to be married to me, especially since it has been so long since I have been in the presence of your father." Wambaugh came in the front door..."The carriage is ready," and then held the door for Michael. Once in the carriage, Wambaugh guided the carriage and horses out of the compound and down the rood to the valley. The pace was normal, and it gave time to view the countryside. Michael looked over at Aurora, "I have always wondered what made your father send you to me, pardon me if I should inquire. I am so happy that you are here, and I am not backing down on marrying you." He then sighed, "Is there something else going on with your father, that I do not know of. I always remembered your father not leaving you out of his sight."

Aurora looked out the window of the carriage as they drove through the valley. She truly loved it, she never really did enjoy the noise and confusion of living near a large town. Her attention turned when Michael asked if there was something going on with her father. She bit her lip "come to think about I did hear him say it be safer if I left and the. When I do leave he did not send me with the normal driver and coach men instead 4 of guards brought me here"

Michael listened to Aurora and nodded, "I did recognize your escort from my bedroom window when you arrived. They were members of the palace guard, definitely not the usual driver and coach escort that I knew from my days at the palace." He then stroked his chin and jaw, "Aurora is there anything you can remember before you left, that would have had your father send you out here. I hope that you were not promised to anyone else.." He smiled and then watched as the carriage went through the village. "We will come back here to shop for you some clothes...the monastery is tucked away outside the village."

Aurora thought a moment "my father had two request for my hand but I turned them down I told my father I would only marry for love. But other than that I don't remember there being any sort of danger"

"I am glad you turned them down, though maybe one of those hurt and jealous suitors could be causing problems for your father. Do you remember who they were?" The carriage slowed to a stop, and Michael looked out the window, "We are at the monastery." Wambaugh got off the driver's seat of the carriage and walked over to the gate at the stone wall around the monastery grounds. He rang the bell outside, and soon one of Father Martin's workers opened the gate. Wambaugh then drove the carriage into the main grounds while the worker shut the gate behind them.

Aurora shrugged "no I did not even want to meet them," she looked out the window to see they had arrived. She drew a deep breath very shortly he was going to become her husband.

Father Martin was about five feet five inches tall, and wore the traditional robes of a priest. a crucifix hung around his neck, and the small hat worn by priests covered the top of his head. His hair was brown, as well as his eyes. He greeted Wambaugh who then opened the carriage door. Michael got out and looked at Father Martin, "Remember you said when I found a bride you would marry me, I know that was long ago...but that time has come." The priest had befriended Michael when he first came to the valley, and had made him that promise. Michael extended his left hand to the carriage door.

"Father Martin, this is Aurora, and we would like to be married." Wambaugh looked at Father Martin, "No he is not drunk with the wine he makes, it is the truth."

Aurora looked out the open door before stepping out the carriage with michael's help. She thanked Michael she then turned and smiled at father Martin. "I hope we are not imposing by just showing up and requesting we be married."

Father Martin smiled, "Not at all lass, I've been waiting for this for quite a while...for beauty to finally come to this beastly fellow, and make him happy." Wambaugh nodded, "Here here," and opened the door to the monastery sanctuary. Once inside and at the front of the chapel, Father Martin performed the ceremony. "And now in the presence of almighty God, I now pronounce you husband and wife, what God hath joined together, let no man put asunder." He then cleared his throat, "Alright you two, you may kiss," and Michael wasted no time in kissing Aurora's lips deeply.

Father Martin nodded to Wambaugh, who returned with a jug of ale he had for 'special' occasions. He poured four glasses, and Father Martin raised his cup to toast the newlyweds. "To Michael and Aurora, may the valley always be as happy as they are."

Aurora stood in front of the chapel next to Michael. Hey happiness almost overwhelmed her. She listen to words father Martin said and then repeated her vows as instructed. Then when Michael kissed her she kissed him back passionately.
She took the ale from Wambaugh and toasted happy to be married

Father Martin smiled at Michael and Aurora, "I am happy for the both of you, and may God richly bless your lives as you journey together." He slugged down the rest of the ale, "Now my lovely newlyweds, I must be about other business." Michael nodded, and give him a pouch of gold coin for the church. Father Martin thanked him, "Michael, I be running low of wine for the Lord's work." Wambaugh smirked, "Yes Father, I'll deliver you some."

Michael looked at his new bride, "Time for us to spend some time shopping before he return to our home. Then you can draft a message to your father, and one of my men will deliver it to the palace." Once in the carriage, Wambaugh headed it back towards the village.

Aurora smiled as the two left and boarded the carriage once again. Once inside she kissed him deeply, passionately. "I love you so much Michael. It's a shame we lost so many years together however I know they years a head will be my happiest and well wroth the wait."

He kissed her back, passionately as he brought her close to his side, his left arm around her, and his left hand over her belly. "Aye it is quite a shame, my darling, but it was worth the wait. I still remember you as a little girl, and you used to stick your tongue out a me from time to time." He sighed in pleasure as he enjoyed her being close to him. "Now you can dress more for around Sherwood, though you look quite wonderful in the clothing you wore at the palace."

Aurora laughed "I would never do such a thing as stick my tongue out at you, after all I was raised as a lady, you must be thinking of another little girl who later became your wife." She then playfully stuck her tongue out him.

Michael laughed, scrunched his nose when he saw her stick her tongue out playfully. "Aye, she is the same girl, and I love her with all my heart and soul. He kissed her back deeply, then felt the closed in carriage come to a stop. Wambaugh opened the carriage door on the side facing the sidewalk of the village. "We're here in the village...with your permission, while you two go shopping, and the lot, I could take Father Martin that fresh supply of wine for the monastery and then return to take you both back home, with your shopping items of course."

Michael glanced at Aurora, then back at Wambaugh, "Sounds good, make it happen my friend." As Wambaugh left to go to the winery, which was on the other side of the village, Michael attended to his new bride, and extended his left arm. "Let's go shopping my darling, whatever you wish, it shall be yours."

Aurora smiled "what I wish for I have here on my arm, but I suppose I can find some other items with your help of course, I mean I have only worn fancier dress you must help me pick out a few simpler dress." She leaned against him as the walked the village .

"Oh I shall, my darling, as well as some riding pants and outfits too, for when we go riding." He smiled as he felt her leaning against him as he walked along the main street of the village. Michael greeted some who passed by them, as he always did when he was in the village. He went into a dress shop and told the proprietor of what they were looking for. The dress maker took measurements for the riding outfits and then showed off the dresses already made that fit what Michael was looking for Aurora.
