Rising Darkness ((Me and Kikora))

Jander groaned in equal parts relaxation and desire as he let the lithe young beauty work his massive muscular body. He could sense her using magic to help ease his tension and knew that she was indeed the perfect choice to care for him. It would take a normal physician hours to do what she could in far less time and might even require the aid of a masseuse to even come close. With her room here in his suite he was quite certain that he would never want for anything in terms of his physical needs... and it occurred to him that when Ophelie accepted her own desires having them both here in his suite would lead to quite an interesting turn of events and even more so with Kaura so close outside. But in the end he put such lusty thoughts from his mind for the time being.

He listened to her comments and was a little surprised when she offered to give him those names. It was suddenly clear she truly understood and accepted that he was not as their leaders had painted him and never for a moment doubted he would use the information exactly as she suggested. That in of itself endeared the lovely young woman to him and he pulled her up for a soft and sensuous kiss before he spoke softly once more, "You really do understand your master well my sweet Teyha... and you understand the world far better than some who have had centuries to learn. So I shall hold a grand gala and maybe a few other events and invite those you wish to see my lovely ladies. You three shall be spoiled as well with the best finery that can be had but I am sure you knew that would be the case either way... I rather like seeing you all smile... for reasons other than the satisfaction of a good romp that is." He was of course teasing her with the last comment and pressed his lips softly to her forehead and then gave her another slow and sensuous kiss before leaning back and closing his eyes to allow her free reign to work her talents on his muscular form.

Teyha worked with a smile, enjoying having the chance to exercise her powers. The restrictions in the slave shop kept her from being able to access her abilities, limiting any chance she had to even embrace the source. It was similar to missing a piece of herself. Her magic was closely linked her her soul, bound and intertwined, cut off from it was depressing and infuriating. Not that she held it, she felt complete once more, and used it expertly, smoothing away sore muscles with expert care. Jander kept kissing her, light and sensual, cradling her like a child while she worked on his body.

"I wouldn't say that." Teyha corrected, meeting his eyes with a raised brow. "If I truly believed that war was the best way to solve a problem, then I would be using my magic to try to kill you, not to sooth your muscles.... But I don't. Violence only breeds more violence. I was in the military only as a healer, and even then I was far from passionate for the cause.... Now I see being here as another opportunity to prevent bloodshed, perhaps one that works. I trust you enough to think that you wont kill the sympathisers, since you're not a cruel man. More importantly, you're not a fool. Kill those I list as sympathizers or interfere with their connections, and those who were borderline might fall to the rebels. The rebels would deny any connection, and claim that the vampires are slaying without cause, and use that fear to again support for their rising. With the sympathizers, your hands a bit tied... Leaving the honey option as the best option." She concluded with a shrug. "At least, in my opinion... But Ophelie always says I twist logic to suit my pacifism." She did lean up to kiss along Jander's jaw once more, laughing to herself. "Does that mean I can request books?"S She asked hopefully. "Nothing makes me happier than a good book and loud music."

Jander chuckled and nodded a bit still keeping his eyes closed, "Yes I suppose it dose mean you can ask for some books and music if you wish my pet, I did promise to make you comfortable after all." He marveled still at how much she had thought on the events to come though. It was clear to him that she had not spent all her time resting and recovering but had seriously thought about what he had said to her and the others during their trip. He suddenly wondered if the others would also have their own thoughts on how to best end the war now that they were accepting their position as his women here in his castle. He reached up and ran a hand through Teyha's hair and then cradled her face gently in his hand as she continued to work his muscles.

He did chuckle a bit though at the thought of his caring pet trying to harm him and spoke softly, "I would never ask you to harm anyone Teyha, I know it would be a horrid thing to ask of someone so intent on healing and caring for others. You are welcome to reside here peacefully to your hears content my sweet pet and I will make sure you have any books or music you desire." He finally opened his eyes and let his senses drift out to make sure the rest of his slaves were adjusting and resting well even as he continued to lightly caress Teyha's cheek. Teyha had already established herself as his favorite weather she realized it or not and would always be rather spoiled and well taken care of unless someone actively tried to curb his gifts and affections.

Teyha had to admit, the tender touches and caresses were quite relaxing. She sighed softly, and nuzzled in close to Jander's body, a smile spreading across her pretty face. She nuzzled in close, ceasing her rubbing to just hug her Master, grateful that he at least understood her position on war. She kissed his neck tenderly before pulling back, and she settled back into his lap again. "That should help you relax a bit." She kissed lightly along his chin once more before curling into his arms, still holding him tightly. She sighed contently, and closed her eyes, feeling a pang of guilt for not telling the vampire the whole truth about why she joined the rebels, the truth she didn't know Ophelie already reveiled.

Ophelie slept peacefully in the next room, her lips drawn back into a smile as her mind turned from dark fantasies to less perverse dreams. She ought now, swinging like a savage, her body glistening in sweat and fueled by adrenaline. Her opponent was Jander, who smirked back at her, a sword raised to block her advances. It was an intricate dance, with very mismatched partners. Jander held back, but his blows still fell true, and Ophelie cringed under each impact, while the vampire didn't flinch even to her most powerful blows. She lunged forward, her sword aimed to the man's chest, and he easily knocked the blade aside, and grabbed her wrist. In one quick tug he brought her to his chest, crushing her in a tight embrace as she flailed, and laughed. "I have won!" The vampire announced. "But you fought well, my fiery bitch."

Kaura slept dreamlessly, curled in her blankets safe from the outside influence. She stired every few moments, half rising before collapsing once more in exhaustion.

Jander was indeed quite relaxed now and gave a content and throaty purr as Teyha peppered him with kisses and then snuggling into him once more. He could tell she quite liked cuddling into his massively muscled body like this and reminded himself to ensure she had every chance to do so... in fact he realized it might be perfect for the little show she suggested. Her cuddling up into him like this would shock rebel supporters and show that they were not being held against their will even as it told his own kind that she was now his sweet little pet. He stroked her hair softly and smiled, "You did a wonderful job my sweet, I will have to make sure to have you give me such a treatment each night."

Jander could not resist letting his mind's eye slip into the dreams of his other slaves though for now he simply observed. He was rather surprised when he saw that Ophelie wanted to test her metal against him even though she seemed quite aware that she could not beat him. The end of the sparring match in her dream was even more surprising as her dream Jander addressed her in what could only be deemed a possessive term of endearment. He realized that even outside her darker desires she was already starting to think of him much as the others did but in her own way and on her own terms. It was to say the least a pleasant surprise and he decided he may soon have to show his slaves where he trained his own impressive body to give her the chance to act out her fantasy.

HE smiled as he realized Kaura actually slept deeply and without dreams. He knew that he himself could never rest so deeply unless he felt safe... unless he felt at home. He was not sure if it was the same for Kaura but found himself hoping it was the case as he rather liked the idea that she was so at home in his garden. He supposed only time would answer that question for him though.

Teyha grinned wider and nodded, "If you laid down I'd get your back as well, and take care of all you knots." She suggested, but didn't make any move to move from his laugh. Instead she wrapped an arm around him, and rubbed her cheek against his chest lightly, inhaling deeply to remember every sensation and feeling that he offered to her. She yawned softly, wrinkling her nose cutely before she slumped back, rubbing her eyes with the back of her hand. "It is getting late." She observed, "Or is it still early for you, Master? All three of us women have slept at some point, but you still seem perfectly alert. Do you need less sleep than us?" She asked.

Ophelie sighed in her sleep, still grinning. Her competitions with Jander switched. Sometimes they fought, other times they played various games, contests, and competitions. Usually he won, always ending the competition with the same crushing embrace and playful title. "Every few games she would win one, and tackled the vampire. She kissed him aggressively in victory, probing deep into his mouth with her tongue.

Jander chuckled a bit and then kissed Teyha softly before he stood lifting her effortlessly in his powerful arms. He stroked her hair softly as he answered her in his usual powerful tones, "I can go for several days without conventional sleep so long as I am well rested before hand or possess the resources to ensure my body is properly fueled. I have fed sufficiently for the night though normally I might be a bit drained from the effort of staying in sunlight... but my carriage is designed to store the nights energy as well so it fortified me a bit before hand and this is my home and has in many ways been tailored to sustain me."

He carried Teyha to the the second guest room and it was as one might expect quite lavish. He lay Teyha on the bed there and then pulled the blankets up over her gently with a knowing smile. He lightly stroked her hair and then spoke once more, "Get some rest my sweet pet and I will see to it that clothes are brought for you all by the time you wake... and if you insist I will rest when the sun next rises so you need not worry." He was again impressed by just how much Teyha worried about him and seemed to want to understand his people. He knew she was not one who wanted to wage war and so her curiosity to him seemed to be because of her attachment to him and that in of itself made him smile.

When he was certain that Teyha was comfortable he left her room and walked over to open the large doors to his suite before stepping out into the garden. Off to one side he could see the exquisite marble tiled floor surrounding by trees and flowers where he often trained and the stands of weapons that stood off to its side. To the other side a similar outdoor section of marble floor where there could be found lavishly crafted tables with various games of skill or chance. This garden and the lavish sweet behind him were his inner sanctum so to speak. Above the suite itself was his study, den, and private library and the two story structure rested here in the garden which was in turn at the heart of his castle. The energy of the place all swirled into the garden and once her focused further still into his private suite. He could function for days here without worry of fatigue so long as he fed... and there were stocks of medical blood packets stored in the coolers beneath his suite in the room past his wine cellar.

He stood there and closed his eyes letting his senses reach to take in his lovely women once more. This of course granted him another glimpse of Ophelie's dreams and he smiled as he saw that his earlier hunch had seemingly been correct. He simply observed as in her dream she eagerly and passionately kissed him in her own victory and he imagined that in his he did the same... she seemed to want to prove her metal or test his more than fight him. He realized she needed to show her fire even as he felt the need to dominate his women and so just as she imagined she really would be his 'Fiery bitch' and he need not submit to her... but if she decided to submit it had to be on her terms and he realized that would no doubt include the chance to prove her metal.

Once again Jander seemed to understand Teyha's needs without her explaining them. He lifted her, and carried her easily into the guestroom. Teyha looked around sleepily, appreciating the extravagant decor of the suite as Jander tucked her into bed. She clutched the blankets close, and gave him one last smile as he turned to leave, watching his retreating back until the lights were turned off and the door securely closed. She curled up then, smiling contently as she allowed herself the luxury of sleeping once more.

Kaura was just rising, determined not to allow herself to lay in bed all night. She pushed herself up, and looked around in surprise at the lush garden surrounding her. Moonlight shined through the open ceiling, and she gazed up at it, realizing that she must have been placed here for her own health, and dependence on the sun's rays. She forced herself up, and moved away from the bed, deeper into the garden. Her soft shoes made almost no sound on the smooth marble floors, and she bent down, smiling as she examined a dark green Fern that stood boldly against the brilliant colors of the other plants. "I thought your kind was gone from this world." Kaura said softly to the plant, lightly trailing a finger down the spine to watch it perk to the slight magic that her touch released. "Exquisite..."

Jander heard Kaura stir from her sleep but decided to let her explore the the garden a bit on her own. He was quite happy that she seemed so pleased with her accommodations and where she had woken. However when he heard her question he decided he should spend some time with his lovely elf. He glided through the garden to seemingly appear beside her as he spoke softly, "Outside my garden... they are. But I have kept a great many things safe here throughout the ages my lusty little elf and that is one of them. I suppose it is part of why I brought my lovely ladies here as well. This garden is at the heart of my castle which in turn is a fortress that can not be breached. Neither noble nor rebel can reach this place unless I allow it."

He glided over and wrapped an arm around Kaura's waist pulling her gently yet firmly against his body with a smile and then leaned down to kiss and nibble at her neck. He let what he said sink in before he spoke once more in the same rich and powerful tones he always used, "I take it my lusty elf liked the gazebo and bed I provided here in the garden then?" He chuckled a bit as the answer was already fairly obvious to him but he still wanted to let Kaura voice her feelings on this extravagant and one of a kind garden that was his sanctuary.

Kaura glanced up when Jander approached. She smiled easily, and rose to her feet, releasing the fern from her fingers. She tilted her head to the side, arching a brow sharply. "For our protection?" She question as he drew her in, his arm looped around her waist. He was already so possessively affectionate, Kaura's eyes narrowed and she swatted at him to discourage the affection he gave her.

She stared up at him, her chin raised high. "Or to separate us from the rebels?" Kaura continued. "A cage is a cage, you've clipped our wings, Master Jander." She told him boldly before looking away to examine the lush garden surrounding them. She paused then, but still the air of annoyance did not dissipate, and she looked back sharply. "The garden is lovely, and I thank you for taking my health into mind when selecting my quarters. I'd rather reside here surrounded by plants than in a stuffy room... But still... It is surrounded by walls. It's a prison, as surely as if I were shackled to the ground."

Jander had not expected Kaura to be so aggressive given their earlier exchanges but he was willing to indulge her for the time being. He however did not release her from his side but instead lead her towards the outdoor area where he kept his games set up as he spoke softly, "Are you so intent to put a negative spin on your situation Kaura? I had thought we had moved past such things earlier but I can explain my meaning I suppose." He thought on how to explain things as he had to Teyha and by the time he had gathered his thoughts they were at the lavish marble tiles that marked his outdoor 'game room' and he led her over to the tables before sitting in a lavish and rather comfortable looking chair.

He took a deep breath enjoying the scent of his garden before he spoke once more, "There are those on both sides who would use you three to stir up hostilities. Some of the less enlightened among my kind would no doubt seek to use you three as bait to draw out the leaders and based on what your friends told me regarding your condition when you fainted you would be chief among such targets." He leaned back into his chair and looked up at the night sky for a moment enjoying the view of the stars. It was one of the reasons his home was hidden so far away from any cities, he adored his view of the night sky and it helped him to think. So it was that he had a rather serene look on his face when he spoke once more, "Likewise I am sure there are those among the rebel leaders who would love to use your circumstance as an example to claim I am some sort of monster because of who I am in regards to the royal ancestry."

Finally he turned his gaze back to Kaura before he stood and walked back to her once more taking her hand and raising it to his lips for a soft kiss before pulling her to him once more not unlike in her dreams and spoke softly, "Suffice to say that neither of those scenarios hold any appeal for me... so I would rather keep you three here in my sanctuary safe from both sides as I find I am growing rather fond of you." He took her chin in one powerful hand and tilted it up to gaze into Kaura's eyes once more as he spoke softly in those rich and powerful tones of his with a bit of a smile finally spreading across his lips once more, "I am glad you like the garden Kaura but I wish you would accept my gestures of kindness for what they are. Or was what happened earlier simply some act for my benefit?"

Kaura stood quietly beside Jander, her eyes trained on the vampire before her. Throughout his explanation her face remained a careful blank, as if gathering information without sharing any that she did not decide important. He took her hand in his, and she moved easily towards him, sitting on his lap as if it were the most natural thing in the world. She leaned forward, and rested her chin lightly in the palm of her hand at the last part though, a familiar twinkle entering her light eyes. "My people are not the sort that can easily be influenced one way or another based upon a single event." She explained with some humor. "I willingly gave you my body, I will not excuse or deny it... But there is no wisdom in changing my views on you or your race based upon an afternoon worth of events. It may yet change, we will see."

That out of the way, she leaned back once more folding her hands into her lap as she looked evenly into Jander's eyes, trying to determine if there was an edge of malice hidden within. It took only a few moments before she sighed. "I wish she had not shared so much... But that human is particularly ill suited to secret keeping." She said with affection. "Yes. I was an important symbol to my people. A 'modern and fearless' approach to the world, one who stood resolute to the old ways, to lead us to the future... And other very powerful words to say the young Elves grow impatient with the Elders." She shook her head ruefully, but couldn't help but to smile sadly, her eyes dropping to her hands, to examine them in detail. "The Elves would surely attempt to seem to retrieve me, but in this time I am simply a figurehead, and easily could be a martyr. Should I remain here they would use me as a cry to arms."

Jander tilted his head to the side a bit and observed the lovely elf who so casually sat in his lap. He regarded her with curious eyes as he tried to understand how she could be so willing yet still be so at odds with him. It was puzzling to say the least but he was not going to force the matter either as he wanted to ensure that as time progressed she understood him rather than resented him. So he wrapped those powerful arms around her and pulled her ever so gently against his powerful frame as he began to speak once more, "Perhaps there is another option that could prevent or at last stall such abuses my lovely elf maiden, I could arrange a ball of sorts.... a gala the likes of which has not been seen in some time. I could ensure that both the hardened members of my kind and the sympathizers among government officials would attend. Let them see you are well taken care of... that this is not some sort of prison sentence."

He ran a hand tenderly through her hair as he looked around his garden. He was almost certain she would want more than just words to show his sincerity and as all of them had given of themselves it was only fair that he did so as well if he wished his slaves to know he was sincere. So he stood lifting her in his arms and carried her gently held that way back towards his library. Once inside he waved a hand over a seemingly blank piece of stone on a pedestal only for it to shift and ripple like water till it showed what could only be called a catalog of women's apparel. He gently set Kaura upon her feet and motion to it before reaching out and tapping the screen to show that it would then expand the selection before he finally spoke once more, "I was hoping you would do me the honor of selecting such apparel as would appeal to you... it is far simpler to let you select your own attire than it is for me to guess at what you might like. You could also select some things for the others of course. I understand that as much as I might enjoy the gowns you now wear that they are hardly practical nor are they likely your first choice for what to wear."

To many sitting in the lap of a man who bought you mere hours before would seem awkward or forced, but adaptation came easily for Kaura, as did caution. As easily as she let herself be drawn in, offering no protest to being handled like a small child by the giant, she still stayed alert. Her smile was easy, relaxed, and sincere, but her eyes sharp and focused as she listened to his plan... Something that sounded so oddly familiar. A gala, a peaceful solution, diplomacy in it's most rudimentary form. It screamed of the thoughtful nature of their youngest team member, Teyha.

Kaura's lips quirked up slightly, her eyes twinkling in amusement. "How inventive." She told him evenly, careful to keep the humor from her voice. She leaned into his stroking hand, her eyes closing to his gentle pets. Incredible that a man so large could have a touch as gentle as the most refined of her kind, Kaura mused with a smile. Jander cradled her against him, and led her into a vast library, stopping before a blank slab. With a wave of his hand the surface of the rock shifted like disturbed water, and the image of clothing rose to the surface.

Kaura laughed softly in delight, moving down Jander and onto her feet to peer at the selection. "Least of all for Teyha." Kaura agreed absently as she searched first for clothing for that young girl to wear. "She is very shy... It'll be difficult to have her wear clothing that fits her, she usually aims for three sizes too large. But... Ah!" She said in delight, motioning for Jander to look. The outfit was designed to hand loose across the body, built for petite women like Teyha. A deep purple dress-shirt that flowed smoothly across the body. Rich purple was Teyha's favorite color, and complimented her well, paired with the black leggings and lightly heeled boots it almost seemed made for her. "She'd like that." Kaura assured him with a smile. "And others like that. Simple peices in dark colors. As for me..." She bent forward to look through, her eyes scouting until she came to a simple white gown, a long and flowing dress with a modest neckline and flowing material. "White is my favorite color..." She said absently, tracing over it. "Things like this suit me... And it is wise to not attempt to build a wardrobe for Ophelie, her tastes change as quickly as her mood."

Jander smiled quite pleased that Kaura enjoyed this perticular little surprise. It reminded him how little most knew about the immense work his kind had done melding magic and science in machines such as the one she was now using. To him such things were simply part of the day to day in a palace such as his and he often forgot that outside such walls a machine like this was the stuff of fantasy or fiction rather than a practical tool. He finally commented on her earlier response though even as he reached out and tapped a symbol beside the first outfit she had said Teyha would like, "I can not take all the credit I must confess... the idea was suggested to me in regards to the rebel sympathizers by a certain someone. Though the tactical angle of letting you all choose attire that suits you and ensuring the event also caters to the more extreme nobles was at least in some ways my doing.... if you activate this glyph beside the outfits the machines in the palace will fabricate the outfits and bring them here."

As he had activated that symbol it showed a sort of diagram indicating it was processing the request. That image melted into the background letting a new one form showing the layout of this little sanctuary in the heart of the garden. A few strange gestures and activations of glyphs and the diagram also showed the gazebo in the garden. A few more and it was processing the construction of a wardrobe for the Gazebo as well. Finally Jander spoke once more, "Once you have told it to craft an item you can use these glyphs beside each room on the diagram to tell the machines where to bring them... Ophelie and Teyha have taken up the rooms to either side of the master suit, the gazebo is of course yours and I have already told it to bring you a wardrobe to hold dresses such as the one you choose." Even as he spoke he also confirmed the desire to produce the dress she had chosen and then to show her what he meant he told the machines to bring the dress to the gazebo by tapping its confirmation and then the glyph by the gazebo, then repeated the process with the outfit for Teyha and her room.

He chucked a bit at the comment regarding Ophelie though before stepping aside to let Kaura work the console. He did wrap his massively muscled arms around Kaura at that point though in a gentle embrace. He let her work the console a bit before stll chuckling he spoke once more, "If what you say is true it might be easier to simply put one of these specifically keyed to the clothing machines in her room... let her worry about her own wardrobe."

Kaura chuckled slightly, her eyes sparkling brightly with amusement at Jander's confession. "It does sound like something she would say." She admitted, taking a moment to continue her search. In the end she picked out several outfits she guessed Teyha would enjoy, matching undergarments that she hoped would fit the girl. She searched for her own clothes, picking out several in shakes of white and grey, both dresses and pants for better mobility. She smiled as she worked, intrigued by the brilliant machine. "This is the vampire technology you praise so highly?" She asked, leaning in to inspect how the alchemy worked. "Positively genius..." She murmured, setting the machine to create the clothes in her and Teyha's wardrobes.

She straightened when the task was done, pleased by just how quickly her requests were fulfilled. Kaura didn't pull away from Jander's embrace, allowing him to hold her as he pleased until she was finished working. It was then that she turned, and studied the vampires face in close detail. "Ophelie would enjoy that." The young elf told him seriously, her gaze slowly softening. "You enjoy having us here?" She asked, though she already suspected the answer. She stood at her full height, which still barely reached the center of his chest, and set her hands lightly at the bends of his arms, not quite an embrace. "Is that what Teyha sees?" She questioned again, "Not someone who wants three pleasure slaves, but three devoted companions?"

Jander nodded a bit as she continued to work the machine to select clothes for her and Teyha and then smiled when she commented about the machines themselves. He realized how far and away the technology he took for granted was from what they had helped the other races to craft. Devices such as these had been held back because of the less mundane possibilities they presented and because of that how much damage or chaos they could cause in the hands of more militant or less enlightened people... though the same was true of some of his people and so machines of this level of ability were not common per say even among the nobles. He did manage to tear himself from his thoughts enough to answer her first comment, "It is one of the more rare pieces of our super science but yes this is such technology. Though I admit we limit its use even among our own for fear of such machines being abused. For example this console has many limitations built in to ensure its uses are confined to books, music, clothing and the like. A version without such limits would be able to fabricate a far broader range of materials though and so could become dangerous."

He let her finish up with her work on the machine and smiled a bit when she did not pull away from him. He was a bit surprised when once more she turned and seemed to study his face so intensely. He was not sure what she was looking for truth be told but he smiled warmly when she commented that Ophelie would enjoy his suggestion and nodded to show he would see to it. He noticed the way her gaze softened and he brought one hand up to lightly run it through her hair as she asked her question and then still smiling nodded a bit as he spoke, "Indeed I do milady." He watched as she stood to her full height and then placed her hands lightly upon his muscular arms. He noticed it was almost like a tentative embrace but it was not quite there just yet. He tilted his head to the side a bit thinking on what she said before he finally spoke softly in those rich powerful tones of his once more, "I can not say for sure what that sweet young woman sees... but no I do not want something so base or crass as pleasure slaves... if I did I could have filled this palace easily, or even spent a few decades working on genetics to breed women designed only for sinful pleasure. But such pursuits hold no appeal for me, nor do such women.... their appeal is fleeting and they offer nothing beyond the obvious. A companion on the other hand is something one can enjoy and cherish."

Kaura's work finished she was able to fully appreciate what Jander was stressing with the cautions of the machines, but still nagging questions came ti mind, and she found herself frowning slightly, perplexed by exactly how intricate a machines the Vampires had crafted, and the benefits such technology offered to the world. "And what else can such a machine craft?" She asked slowly, choosing each word with care. "If the products could be given to those who are in need. Blankets? Material for homes? Medicine? Food? I would say that more important than a ball would be to at least make these materials available to struggling mortals who need them." She told him thoughtfully. "It is something often overlooked by ones like us, human diseases are rarely issue, and I do not suffer from the effects of heat and cold. Humans though, they are very frail creatures. Many things can end their lives."

She paused with a sigh, finding it difficult to think of women like Ophelie and Teyha as so weak. A brief shiver ran through her, and she banished the thoughts stubbornly from her mind, turning her attention upwards to smile at Jander softly. "I want to believe you do not intend to harm us. If just for Teyha's sake. She has put quite a bit of trust in you, and would not be pleased to be deceived once more. Still..." She broke off, considering her words once more, and reached up, standing on the tips of her toes to brush a lock of hair from Jander's face. "You seem genuine. I cannot say it is solely because of her that I give you my acceptance."

Jander listened to her questions and understood her concerns. But he also knew that she was all to aware that any such 'gifts' from himself or his kind would be viewed as bribes more than anything else regardless of intent. At the same time they could not simply hand the machines over as people might demand for the same reasons that even some of his own kind were not allowed access to them. He nodded at her comment though before he spoke, "I could arrange such an offering easily... but I can not be sure it would be accepted, or that it would be taken for what it is rather than viewed as some sort of bribe or trap... and there are those among the rebels who would no doubt make such claims... and then if anything went wrong by accident or by design to let them place fault on us.... those innocents would be in the middle of it." He sighed a bit but then managed a smile for the lovely elf. He knew it would be clear he had given much thought to such things and having told her he was the mind who had guided many of the elves from behind the scene he was sure she would understand.

Her soft smile though earned another smile from the towering vampire. Her first comment surprised him a bit though and he spoke softly in answer, "It is sincere desire my elven maiden... and I have no desire to deceive that sweet young woman." He was pleasantly surprised though when she reached up to brush his hair aside and spoke once more. Such an admission was something he would treasure as its meaning was clear enough to him... Kaura had her own reasons for accepting him. So still smiling he leaned in closer and pressed his lips to Kaura's even as he gently pulled her to him wanting her to know how much he appreciated what she said.

Kaura submitted to Jander's kiss, letting his lips slide over hers even as she considered what he had previously said. Obviously her input had run through his mind at least once before. Still it bothered her that such technology exists and there was no way to spread its benefits to the people who needed it most. It was frustrating... but try as she might she couldn't think of a solution, not when she found herself in Jander's arms, held close to his body. His lips against hers drove away any plans, making her heart pound loudly in her chest.

The kiss drew on until Kaura was breathless and delightfully lightheaded. She broke the intimate embrace them, leaning her cheek against his chest lightly. "I must admit, my opinion of you might be biased." She said softly, trying to hide how short on breath she felt. After a moment she looked back up, letting her eyes stay locked onto Jander's, watching him. "I cannot say that I completely believe all you say. It was not long ago that I sat among the elders to learn their ways, to see if I might lead my village in times to come. Only some time further back was I a revolutionary in their eyes, bringing unwelcome change to a system they did not believe flawed. To believe it was all influenced by your kind is quite a leap of faith, understand. However, I would be a fool to not acknowledge the potential for good your kind holds in your hands. This technology, the wonders of your alchemy, it is spectacular. I would like to believe you mean well by it."

Jander smiled and simply wrapped those powerful arms around Kaura as she leaned into his chest. He listened to her comments and in the end was still smiling as he leaned down to kiss her forehead in a simple and sweet gesture before he spoke softly to her, "I can live with biased... and I understand it is a lot to take in and all in such a short time. I am quite sincere in all I have said and especially where my lovely maidens are concerned." He knew how the kiss had affected her of course. Given his keen senses it would have been to say the least odd for him not to notice how short of breath she was, or the way she swooned. He reached up and ran a hand through her hair as she still leaned against his muscular chest. He knew he could try to explain more but he had already given the lovely elf so much to think about and he did not want to add even more to consider while she still digested what recent events had revealed to her.

So he simply smiled and stroked her hair for a time as he knew the others who had watched over her were getting much needed and deserved rest in their own rooms not far away. Finally he leaned down to kiss and nibble softly and affectionately at Kaura's neck even going so far as to tease her neck with his fangs before he spoke softly once more, "The others are enjoying their rest in their new rooms in case you were wondering. What would you like to do as they rest milady? Shall I resume showing you around the garden or would you rather simply relax here in my little sanctuary for a time?"

The sex appeal that the vampire utilized was impossible to ignore. Kaura let her eyes close, and her head tilted back when he ran his fingers through the thick dark locks of her wavy hair. She sighed slightly, unable to keep herself from imagining how it would feel to have the thick digits tighten at the base of her skull, and draw her in roughly. They stood so close it wasn't difficult to imagine how they felt when they were pressed together, the vampire's hard imposing body coming down onto hers again and again. Elf or not she couldn't ignore arousal when it ran so hot through her veins, only made all the sweeter when the vampire teased her throat with the tapered points of his deadly sharp fangs, his aphrodisiac venom only one quick bite away from surging through her body once more. In anticipation she tensed slightly, the delicate curve of her throat fully exposed to the vampire lord.

"Jander." She whispered, smiling as her hand drifted up, and she pressed the tip of her index finger lightly against his full lips. She smiled at him, almost glowing in the moonlight, the soft hues of her eyes bright and locked onto his. She stood there considering, the only movement the rhythmic rise and fall of her chest against his. Finally she smiled tenderly, and drew her fingers away from Jander's face. "I would like to know you." She told him at last. "Not as a lord, as a vampire, or as a warrior. I would like to learn more about you, the man."

Jander was a little bit surprised by her request. None of them had yet asked about him personally yet here she was clearly flushed as her full bosom heaved but wanting to know more even as she had moments before offered her neck so willingly once more. He could see that though he roused her desire the night before... the choice to embrace it had been hers and even now she was showing him that is exactly what she was doing. He took her hand gently and then kissed lightly at her delicate wrists, teasingly dragging his fangs along the underside of her wrist with a smile, and then leaned in to press his lips to her in a slow and sensual kiss. He let that kiss linger for a time before finally breaking it.

Only then did he gaze into her eyes and speak once more, "ah my lovely elf maiden.... what is there to tell. I was born from a noble line and spent my youth studying science, art, literature, and history. I disagreed with some of my contemporaries who wanted to go to war because I had no desire for needless bloodshed. So I became a general in those old days to garner influence so that I and others like me could protect innocents... we forced everyone to hide. I of course went back to my science, to my art, and found a love for philosophy... which I taught to the few who came to know me in those long years... several of your elven scholars studied with me on occasion actually."

He once more took a seat in the garden and then pulled her into his lap with a playful smile and wrapped those rippling muscular arms around her once more then kissed and nibbled at her neck teasingly. Finally he spoke once more, "In the end I suppose I am simply a man who loves his art and music... with a talent for the sciences. I wish that I could stay here with you three lovely ladies and simply keep to those pursuits truth be told... that would be enough for me."

The surprise Jander held at the simple request was painted across his face, and in reply the Elf smiled easily, her mood easy for the moment. There was little baiting in her question, only the simply curiosity to know one who held so much power over her destiny. He seemed almost pleased by her curiosity, catching one thinly tapered wrist in his mighty hand to draw up to full lips. He kissed the limb lightly, those unbearably sharp fangs drawing up along her wrist in a devilish tease. It was impossibly not to recall when she had submitted to him the night before. She recalled it vividly, the way he had sunk those fangs into the tender flesh of her neck, how the aphrodisiac his species boasted surged through her body, driving her past dignity and grace. They united then, in a way she doubted their species had before, at least not openly.

Their lovemaking was not the concern at the moment, and she banished it from her mind. Instead he drew her onto his wide lap, and she sat daintily, one long leg drawn easily across the other. Her hands draped around his neck as lightly and delicate as the finest of lace, and she rested her cheek lightly to his shoulder. "There is much about your species mine has yet to learn." She observed, light eyes studying his. "Or perhaps that they have yet to share. You are an interesting man, Master. Paticularly I am intrigued in your arts. Which do you prefer?"

Jander was quite pleased that he could tease and caress his lovely elf maiden without her instantly succumbing to the pleasures of the flesh. He also knew though that when she did give in she was to say the least a ravenous wild cat. It was something he quite enjoyed... that he could tease and caress her affectionately and she could maintain, yet hold such sinful promise for later. He continued to let his fangs and tongue dance teasingly against the supple flesh of her wrist making sure to trace those sharp fangs teasingly over the pulsing vein in her wrist before he spoke once more, "Well I rather enjoy paintings, the occasional sculpture as well, and of course music.. I adore music."

He let his other hand slip down to caress her hip and thigh through the material of her dress. He quite enjoyed having the buxom and curvaceous elf in his lap like this and he smiled leaning in to kiss and nibble at her neck before bringing his lips to hers for a slow and sensual kiss. He nibbled lightly at her full lips as he broke the kiss and then gazed into her eyes, "Perhaps it is a bit of both, those who do know us have likely been afraid to admit it given the reaction of those who did not.... and that very reaction is why many of my kind may have been less likely to share... it is a viscous cycle I fear."
