The Mountain Man [with nightsorceress]

NeeNa slept soundly through the night. She never once moved the through out the night loving the closeness between the two. She hoped that some day they would be closer in other ways as well but she was not sure if that what he wanted. She was very nervous about loosing him. As she felt his lips on her NeeNa slowly opened her eyes. she looked at him with a faint smile on her lip. "morning"

Gar smiled as he had already been awake and dressed in his dried clothes. The aroma of fresh rainbow trout cooking in the skillet filled the air around the camp. "Got breakfast on for us, fresh trout that I caught, also some coffee. Found some sage hen eggs you can cook up if you want them." He had checked the fish before coming over to waken her, the skillet off the fire enough that their breakfast would not burn. His left hand stroked through her hair softly, and then lifted her up against him, her back against his chest, as he started to massage her belly button softly. He kissed her bare shoulders and then her neck and whispered in her ear, "You felt very warm with me last night, I hope you never leave, I want you around for a very long time." His right hand then slid her sewed clothing over to her so she could get dressed.

"You must have woken at first light to do all this." She smiled at him and then before she knew it she was sitting with her back pressed against him. she felt his hands and her lips touch her and it felt wonderful. "I slept so well last night with you, i hope you did the same." she did not want to move he offered her close but she sighed a little and slipped them on resting against him once she was dressed.

Gar nodded, "I wanted to surprise you," he watched her dress and then held her back close against him, as he sat on his blanket, and leaned her back into his chest. "After we eat and clean up we'll go and see Drucker about the furs and get our supplies. You get what you want, we'll have plenty to spend after we get paid for the furs." He kissed her left shoulder and then slid off the blanket to make them each a plate of the fresh fried fish, as well as some beans. He poured two cups of coffee from the coffee pot, then brought them over for he and NeeNa to eat. He looked into NeeNa's eyes, "You have something on your mind, talk to me about it."

"oh i don't need anything" she said and took a bite of her food. she then looked at him. "Nothing really on mind just wondering if everything that is happening is just a dream. I mean why would a man like you want to be with me is all. I know you have said it before that what i am does not bother you however i do bother the rest of the world. I mean look at what the man did" she looked down "I can't but feel I would cause you more trouble in your life then you need"

Gar enjoyed the taste of the fried fish and beans, in between sips of coffee. "I only come down out of those mountains when rendevous occurs, other than that I have a cabin up there. Nobody up there that high, so people like that drunk wouldn't bother you up there, and besides I wouldn't let them." He finished his food and poured some more coffee, "Eat up and then we'll trade those furs, get what we need and then head back up country." He sat his empty plate down and sipped on his coffee, as he looked over at her, and smiled softly.

NeeNa nodded her head a little and smiled at him. She hoped he was right. She ate her food it did taste good. She sipped her coffee as she finished her meal her hand reached out to hold his. her thumb ran gently over his hand her eyes looked at him as she finished her coffee. "breakfast was good, thank you for cooking"

Gar smiled as he felt her thumb over his hand, and he looked into his eyes, "I enjoyed cooking for you very much, you'll have lots of chances back on the trail and at the cabin." He kissed her lips softly, then finished his coffee. After the dishes were washed and laid out to dry, Gar got the furs back on the pack horses, his packed on one side of the pack animal and Lee's on the other. He saddled their horses, and mounted his. Then, he started out of the campsite and towards the rendevous, at a walk. As he neared the buildings, he could see the makeshift town was barely coming to life after the night of partying, just the shops were open.
