Chris Curze rode into the small town slowly, his horse a black stallion. He arrived outside a two story building that looks to be a tavern. He dismounted his horse armor clacking against each other, the sound of the metal on metal loud. He entered the establishment and immediately walked to the bartender, who took notice of the ornate hand-and-a-half sword at Chris' side. "You looking for trouble straner?" the bartender asks in a hushed tone, the air became tense among the few patrons of the bar each gripping a blunt object or a hidden knife. "No I heard you had a vampire problem and I was hired to deal with it."

The patrons were visable relieved, a skeptical man pipes up. "you don't look like you could take a vampire." Chris reached into a small pouch from the many strapped across his chest, he removed 10 laced together teeth, they were sharp and looked malevolent. "These are the teeth from five vampires, they are a threat I have faced before and can deal with."

He left the Tavern after many thanks and praises, he went to were he was told there was one of the victims, who they had killed immediately after they found out he was bitten. They had stabbed him through the heart with a spear, and then had left him there, he had been there 2 days. Chris knocked on a door and was greeted by a red eyed women,"Yes?" she asked. "I was told your husband was victim to a vampire attack?" she moved aside to let him in. She led him quickly to a back room to a single bed with a man run through by a spear, a unpleasant smell wafting about. He looked over the corpse and the women says,"I knew I should not have told him to sleep alone..." he realized where she was, a place he had pasted on his way here. He quickly got up and ran out.

He rode his horse fast the air sweeping over his very short black hair. He arrived at the home of the vampire and prepared to charge in.

(Please do not make posts more then like 2-3 paragraphs or something because I feel obligated to match it and it takes a large amount of time)

Alisa sat in her home by her fireplace, she was comfortably sipping some wine when she heard it, the horse hooves plodding the ground, she smelled a human, one who was confident, and ignorant at the same time, he didnt realize what he was about to get himself into, and better yet, whom he was about to get himself into, she calmly stood up and walked over to a sword rack hanging on her wall, she picked up two rapiers, spun them around in her hand and stood at the doorway waiting for the man to burst in.

Chris approached the cozy looking home, he stood outside of it. The Rain pounded down on his bare head he could see a fire going inside. He wore a stoic expression on his face, his horse whinnied nervously, he reached over to stead the fearful horse. He turned back to the house, it was obviously a female as male vampires typically live very fabulous life styles.

He walks to the door and draws the sword, the hilt demon with it teeth doing up the blade about three inches. He rammed he door with his shoulder knocking it open but not down,"Vampire! I have slain your kin before and I am hear to slay you," he looked over the form of the vampire (No description?) he remember an essencial thing he had learned once, seduction was a main key in a vampires arsenal, he resisted the urge. He regripped his sword in one hand, he would not be the first strike but rather waited for her.

Alisa stood up straight, she was wearing barely anything, showing her well muscled frame, her grey eyes piercing his, there was a wind that blew through the house, her thigh high grey hair blowing in the breeze, she was five foot eleven, very tall for a woman in that day and age, "No slayer, what you have slain are the rubbish of my kind, the underlings, the filth that you call the turned, i was born a vampire, their strength and speed pale in comparison to mine as you will soon find out, now then, before i kill you, what is your name?"

He looked at her his stoic expression still,"My name is Chris Curze, remember it for I will be your killer." he charged her the blade of to his right holding it with both hands. He slashed at her across.
(I don't got a lot to reply with sorry.)

Alisa lept back, "Attacking first i see, did i push a button with you hunter, so high and mighty you havent met your match have you?" She began circling him like a wolf did his prey, "You will die with dignity i will tell you that much, but your pride will be the end of you too soon if you arent careful." Alisa lunged forward with both of her swords.

She had touched a nerve on him, she had called her dead kin trash. People who considered themselves higher just because of birth. With a growl he ducked under her cross slash and grabbed her around her waist knocking her down. He quickly jumped up. He kicked away one of her swords and jumped back. "Your kin are trash?"

Alisa did a forwards kick flip and got back onto her feet still gripping one sword, "I do not consider something once human my kin, only those born of pure vampire blood are my kin, the turned are just lucky they survived a feeding thats all, nothing more nothing less." She threw her other sword to the side, "My name is Alisa Perne by the way sir hunter, and now that we are on equal fighting grounds, let this continue, but remember you are in my house, and it is night, and my speed and strength is a hundred fold of the vampires you have fought before, so be careful with your next move."

He was not know to be cautious, he stabbed his own sword into the floor. He launched himself at her barehanded,"Your kin fought better then you have!" that was a direr insult. He grabbed her bringing her to the ground under him, he produced a long knife from his life and poised it at her chest.

"I havent started fighting yet." She grabbed the blade and bent it with her bare hands, then threw him off of her, "Now im fighting, and now that i know what you are made of its going to be easy to kill you, you are a simple fighter relying on strength, your hubris will be the end of you, there is no finesse to your blade you simply overpower, you have no skill at all, you simply use gorilla tactics, attack first, attack hard, dont give your opponent a chance to retaliate, you have never really fought at all, so now, you want to fight, i hope you eat alot of fruit, because you are going to taste so sweet when this is over."

He went back to his blade a cold anger on his face, he was angry. He took up his blade and swung it as a trial. "You creatures are vial, you attempt to make me angry. I am afraid you have done as you have said." he approached her surpriseiy quickly swinging to the right as a feint and the pulled back and did a underhanded slash up and right. She didn't have blade but she could be deadly if he gave her an opportunity.

An idea occurred to him as he pulled from his last strike, he lowered his guard and turned his neck barring his veins her in offer.

She dodged his slash and laughed, "Ahhh, another thing i dont suffer from being a pure blood, blood lust, you think, and tell me if im wrong, but, you think that by showing me your neck and making yourself vulerable im going to rush in, thirsty for blood and you will run me through and end the fight here, but sadly you are mistaken, several reasons why, one, if i did rush in you wouldnt be able to move fast enough to actually kill me, two, thats not how i want to drink your blood, and three, ive already eaten." she smiled having once again pushed another button and outwitted him.

It was not his first time to be outwitted and he would make sure this wouldn't be the last time. He heard her say the way she wanted to,"Then how do you prefer to feed?" he asked sitting down crossing his legs. He had calmed down somewhat, his anger was niether hot nor cold.

"I like to seduce my prey first, have a little fun, im still a woman, i have needs, and i can have anyone and anything i want, you are a brave hunter even still you let your guard down, you are sitting on the floor completely vulnerable i could be on you in an instant, snap your neck and kill you and yet you sit here before me, are you mocking me?" She sat down in front of him, "Saying silently that i dont have the gall to kill you, or is there something more, now are you just curious, tell me why were you even sent here?"

He had not talked much comparatively speaking but it seemed it was his turn,"My people fear yours, we tell stories of you to scare our children. We say if they are and your kind will come, now imagine when one does befall us. The city turns to desolation, they are so scared they can't function, children who were bad before you arrive think it there fault, I have seen children kill themselves over that." he was not completely defenseless, it was a dangerous technology made in a foreign land. A small hand held thing that shot fire and small things, they called it a gun. He kept it hidden in his sleeve so he could slide it down into his hand. While it probably couldn't kill a vampire it would stun them enough for him to do so

"This city is intact, i have done nothing of the sort, i actually kill the vampires that come around, its my territory of sorts, the people may fear me yes, but its a fear from respect not from the fact that i will kill them and or drink their blood which i dont by the way, ive found other means to live, if you are here to kill the vampire that is terrorizing this town you are in the wrong place, i can help you do this, but you have to for once set aside your fears and vengeance against my kind and listen."

He was not just a violent man, he listened to her,"Very well if that is the case uses absolutely not reason to attempt to kill you." he stood and sheathed his sword before sitting back down to listen to her more. He had trusted her enough that he slid the gun from his sleeve and set it to the ground,"Here, this is a sign of trust." he slid the gun to her, it was not ornate or beautiful it was made for damage but not much else. He wanted to hear her out completely

She picked up the gun and fired the single bullet in the chamber into the air, "Good, now that we have that cleared up, sorry about doing that but i despise guns, they hurt, alot, even i in all my centuries can still feel pain, its faint, but its still there, your blade, its not made of silver, none of them are, which means you arent as effective as you should be, a silver blade cuts just like a regular blade, but if it cuts the skin of a vampire it does much more effective damage than a steel blade, if you were to have cut me with your sword it would have simply irritated me, had you cut me with a silver blade you would have severely wounded me, i know where to acquire the blades you need, there is no catch, i despise my own kind as much as you do, its rather complicated really, i hunt them nightly and keep tabs on every single one in the area, the vampire is in a cabin outside of town, you need to take him during the day which means i cannot follow, he has figured out a way to feed in the sun, and hide at night, i need you to do two things, find out his secret and kill him."

"My problem with silver blades is they are not very good for sword fighting, which what I expected. Silver is not as tough as steel or iron, if a vampire with a normal blade swings with all there strength and I try to lock with a silver weapon then it would break and I would bum out of luck unless I was weighted down with more weapons." he takes back the unloaded weapon as it is nothing more then a club now."I have one silver dagger, which I did bring," he extended his main hand as the pistol was in his off and he produced a small silver dagger. "I will do as you ask, again as a show of good faith. I will be back tomorrow."

He departed the night already turning to day, he went back to the town and when pressed about his fight he said she was not of concern and nothing more. He took a few hours rest then embarked back out, he had a general idea of where she was talking about, he began to look throug the area before happening onto the cabin. Outside a pale man was splitting wood, he swung the ax so hard that the head came off several times in a few swings.

He continued to observe, after the vampire went inside he saw him open a book and look through it then set it down, burbs had seen the title,'Daybreaker' it was in a light purple binding. He knew what he needed a d so this vampire was useless to him. He aimed the unreliable pistol through the window and fired, it struck him knocking him down hard. He went through the window and saw it struck the vampire in the head so it was unconscious, he stabbed he blade into it heart and grabbed up he book then departed.

That night he arrived book in hand on his horse, and in much less armor, the armor a mix of steel and leather much easier to change and remove etc. he knocked onto the door,"It's Chris!" he declared as he stood back book in hand.

Alisa opened the door, "The fact you are alive, means the task is finished, nothing more needs to be said about the fight, i will mourn him in silence later tonight, i despise them yes, but still mourn their departed immortal souls, now, tell me what you found out, how does he walk in the sunlight, its impossible really, ive seen hundreds try different things, all ending in the same result, a firey explosion and a pile of ash, what made him different?"

He walked into te home uninvited something vampires could not do. He set down the book named Daybreaker,"This is how, it is a spell book you cat it once and yor done. I saw him out in broad daylight." he sat down in the same place he was yesterday. He set the pistol and silver dagger down onto the floor do she knew he wouldn't try to attack her while she is turned away,"It's unloaded this time." he was of course talking about the pistol.

She picked up the book and scanned it quickly, "This may allow one to walk in the daylight, but you loose your strength, your speed, everything, its not something im willing to give up, i knew there had to be a catch, which makes sense, things have a funny way of working, i mean think about it, if you could have the strength of a hundred men, be faster than anything on the face of this earth, and have an endless stamina, there would have to be a catch, no wonder he is the only one doing it, if he had all of his strengths and no weakness, there is nothing that can stop him then, she tossed the book into the fire, this is something that must be destroyed before it is perfected."

He took note of her behavior,"So I assume this isn't the first time looking for something like that?" he asked. He didn't mind that what he had killed for had been destroyed and branded as useless. He disliked most vampires this women being the exclusion. He sat quietly listening to her.

"No they all seek it in the beginning, the turned that is, they cant brace themselves with the fact that they are now a prisoner of the night and worse yet a prisoner in their own mind, its a solitary life being a vampire, only the pure blooded have accepted this fact as they had no choice and knew nothing of being mortal, the ones that were once mortal still seek the sun, they still seek the ability to walk in the daylight, some have given their lives, a good vampire i once knew got sick of it, so he walked out one morning and watched the sun rise, i imagine it was the most beautiful way to die, but that book was incomplete, there were some pages torn out in the back, meaning he wasnt the first one to use it."

He was surprised, he didn't know if he could live without going out in the day, it would be hard for him to fathom something like that. "What should our next moved?" he didn't know enough about the subculture to determine movement for information. His job use to be to kill them not to learn from them. Chris sat traveling lines in the floor from their battle the other day he would need to remember what he had done unknowing she was more ally then enemy
