Aurora shook her head and went about unpacking the kitchen. It was about an hour later when she had enough that she went to check on her boys. She found them in Ashes room looking at his worm she stood in the doorway. "what are you two doing."
 
"Studying the serpant !" Robert said, as he looked up at her. Ashe sitting in his lap on the floor, pointing at the worm, and giggling.
 
"he's exploring the jungle!" Ashe piped up with an excited squeel. "Daddy has been telling me stories about him."
 
"oh the jungle huh?" she couldn't help but giggle a bit. She loved the fact that Robert was so good with him and could help be a little boy.
 
"We'll be here, honey if you need us." "So the serpant crawled deep under the underbrush looking for smaller creatures it could eat. It wasn't long before it found a six legged dragon and began to chase it. See it ?......." he continued his story with Ashe.
 
Aurora smiled and shook her head and went back to the kitchen this time to cook dinner. She. Started to a make meatballs from scratch, one of Ashes favorites. She then started the pasta and sauce and made some garlic soon the whole house smiled like an Italian restaurant. "dinner" she called to the boys
 
"There was thunder in the house as two boys ran roughly through the house." Robert was enjoying his time with Ashe tremendously.
 
"hey there you two slow down dinner is not going any where." she said she set the plates with food down on the table she had already cut Ashes meatball for him
 
"Look Ashe! momma made serpents for dinner!" Robert said laughing... Ashe looked at the spaghetti and giggled.
 
"yes and these serpents are strictly for eating. Now playing with your food." she had to remind her 4 year old and just for safe measure her husband
 
Robert sucked up a noodle and it whipped as it entered his mouth splashing sauce on his face. Ashe tried it and the same thing happened . The two of them giggled, and looked over at the look of disaproval on Aurora's face, and sunk down in their chairs laughing.
 
He knew that though he was teaching Ashe a few questionable habits, it was good for the boy to have male interaction, and that Aurora understood what was going on, besides, he hadn't had that much fun in a long time.
 
Aurora tried not to say anything knowing that boys had to be boys every once and while but she still wanted Ashe to be well majored and not learn any bad habits
 
Seeing the concern in her eyes, He said, 'Don't worry Momma, we will behave when company is here!"
 
"Alright, we will try, won't we Ashe? " he said. He leaned over and kissed her and then sat up and finished his meal, like a perfect gentleman.
 
When dinner was through he cleared the dishes and pulled a chair in front of the sink. He filled it with water and helped Ashe up into the chair. Together they washed the dishes and put them in the drain board to dry.
 
Aurora smiled as her boys clean up dinner. She thought it was sweet how Ashe was helping to dry. She went to the fridge and got out dessert honey yogurt and fresh fruit for dipping. "I think you deserve something sweet." she the went to the microwave and got melted chocolate to dip the fruit in as well
 
the three sat and enjoyed the small treat she had provided. when they were through, Robert took Ashe outside to the yard. It was shared by three homes, and had a small play yard in the center for all to use. He put Ashe in a swing and began to push him higher and higher, much to Ashe's delight.
 
Aurora watched as Robert took Ashe to play again. She sighed a little, she still had to get use to the fact that Ashe would rather play with his father and learn boy stuff. She was happy for them both but she knew she was not one for playing with worms or dirt so it left her a little behind.
 
There was a knock at the kitchen door, lizabeth had stopped by with a small gift to welcome her new neighbor, and was waiting patiently outside the screen door.
 
Aurora heard the knock and moved to the kitchen door. She smiled to see Elizabeth there. She open the screen. "hello Elizabeth come in."
