Strange meeting between family (Darkness & Askeladd)

Lilly nodded slightly before smiling at him. "Yeah, I understand why mom didn't want me to. Doesn't stop me from wishing though." she told him gently. "After all, it's only natural to be curious and a tad hopeful about things like that. But at least now we'll get to know each other, right?" She looked up at him and tilted her head while looking at her brother. And I hope that in time you can come to like me." As she said that, she had a thoughtful look on her face before it faded and she sighed.

As he went on to talk about being glad he got a cute little sister, she smiled sheepishly with a light blush. "Thanks." she said with a giggle. "Though, I have been told I'm a bit of a brat once in a while." She grinned playfully at him and her pink ears twitched while her blue eyes sparkled brightly with amusement. "Though, it's usually Uncle Sean that says it." Closing the door to the garage, she shivered a little before looking around the hall a little and leading the way back into the kitchen. Their mom was no longer sitting at the table, having left the kitchen sometime while they were talking in the garage, though the paper she had been reading was still sitting on the table.

Aries could tell that his new little sister was definitely one of those always look forward types instead of looking towards the past types, they always had pep to their step and could always find the good in the worst of situations. It wasn't a bad thing he thought to himself oh so calmly but it just wasn't his style, he was more of the if it is in the way move it out of the way with force types it was how he grew up seeing as he had no one else to rely on. "Like you?" he asked curiously "I don't hate you or Margarette" he said truthfully "it is just a matter of getting to know you and honestly from what I can tell from the two of you so far I will definitely enjoy my time here" he said softly.

He cocked his head to the side as she said that it was uncle Sean that called her that often, he was assuming that was on their mother's side as he never met an uncle Sean. "I'm kind of curious is all the family you know neko?" he was not prejudice against them but if they came over for a visit it would definitely be a little awkward to be the only human in a family of nekos he thought to himself joking. He leaned against the counter now as he was being lazy and not standing by himself, he looked around the kitchen and seeing the cooking utensils he grinned, he was not amazing at cooking but he had learned a bit of chinese cooking from working at a restaurant when he was sixteen.

Lilly heard his question and looked at him again before nodding. "Yeah." she replied before tilting her head slightly as he told her that he didn't hate her and she shook her head with a sigh. "I didn't mean it like that. I meant that perhaps you'll come to see me as maybe like a friend or something. You know, more then just a neutral like." The neko looked a little frustrated, clearly unable to get out exactly what she meant and trying to do so was confusing her a little. Taking a deep breath, she slowly let it out before speaking again. "What I'm trying to say is that, I'm hoping that we can have something of a closer relationship. Like we should of had while growing up but were denied." she said slowly. "I know that it will probably take time, but I'd like for us to be like that."

After she got that out, she sighed again and her ears drooped a little before perking up again to look at him again with a light blush as he asked about the family. As he asked, she giggled and shook her head. "No, they're not all neko." she told him. "Uncle Sean is a neko, but his wife and children aren't. However, a good bit of the family is neko. But we're a mix of both."

Aries listened to her explanation on how she wanted him to feel towards her and Margarette, it was a little strange to him that she would feel the want to have him want to like her so much. "Sorry I am not one for the whole touchy feely thing with family, honestly I might never be I mean I like you now you are cute, not a brat, and easy to talk to" he said with a slightly cheerier tone along with a little smile on his lips. "With the old man there were nothing between us it was just fight or steal in our case so don't really know how to react to family members who actually care" he said ever so calmly, he couldn't help the way he had been raised after all.

He found it very interesting how her ears would move with her moods, when she had been excited they had been twitching and now as she was a bit depressed they drooped. Then when her attention was back to something happy they perked right up it was actually kind of amusing to watch he thought, when she blushed he laughed just the tiniest bit as she had looked quite cute right then he thought. "I see well that is good because it would be a little awkward to be the only person without cool cat ears and tail" he said in a joking tone while giving her a warm smile.

Lilly tilted her head a little as he began to explain that he wasn't into the whole touchy feeling thing and she smiled slightly when he said he liked her because she wasn't a brat and she was easy to talk to. It saddened her a little that he'd never been shown what it meant to have someone care for him. At the same time it made her a little angry at the man that was their father. How could he be so cruel and mean to not show his own son affection? To cut Aries off from the rest of his loving family? After a bit she sighed inwardly and shook her head slightly before looking up at him as he laughed when she blushed a bit.

"Yeah, I suppose it would be a tad awkward. Though they're not always cool. Sometimes they get in the way." she replied with a soft giggle, her eyes sparkling when he gave her a warm smile. "I suppose I should finish giving you the tour of the house. That is if you'd like one." The house wasn't too big so it would take maybe ten minutes to show him everything.

Aries knew very little about hybrids like his sister and mother though like everyone he heard the occasional rumor about how their ears and tails were very sensitive to pain and to pleasure. He wondered if the pleasure part had been true or if that had been something someone just made up when asked about it one day, either way he was definitely not going to be asking his new little sister about that as it would be quite awkward for the two of them most likely. When Lilly said that sometimes that her ears and tail could get in the way he arched his right eyebrow up curiously "how do they get in the way?" he asked while trying to think of a couple of his own answers at the same time, suppose the tail could make it hard to do sports or something of that nature he thought.

"Sure a tour of the house sounds lovely at this point seeing as well I only know the kitchen and the garage" he said with a little laugh and then stretched a bit. Though he was not a hybrid like her he did stretch out like a cat letting his entire body move as he heard a few cracks from his back that made him sigh with relief at the feeling, while stretching he wondered if they had the same flexibility as a cat since well they were part cat.

Lilly giggled gently at his question and she reached around and gently grasped her tail. It was long and slender, covered in a fine pink fur that matched her dainty pink ears. "Well, they get in the way because sometimes it gets tangled with my legs." she said gently. "And sometimes if my emotions are a little high, it can be hard to get dressed. And sports is a definite no. At least contact sports. Things like track are okay though." She grinned slightly while running her fingers over her tail before she released it.

After watching him stretch once he agreed to the tour, she nodded slightly. "Well then. Lets go." she said with a smile. "As you've noticed, the laundry room is right through there on the way to the garage." she said, motioning towards the way they'd just come. They had to walk through the laundry room in order to get t the garage. "And this way is the den." Turning she led him through the house.

For the next ten minutes or so, Lilly led her brother through the house from room to room showing him the different rooms. They had a living room where there was a nice three piece dark grey sectional with a large foot rest as well as a large tv. Then there was their mothers office which she told him was off limits before showing him to what she called the 'play' room where another tv and a game system was set up with a shelf of movies and games as well as a table for cards and board games and a computer which sat in the corner. After that there was just the bedrooms and bathrooms upstairs.
