Maria's explanation made him think of how much she missed and loved him without even knowing him. It was strange for anyone to be that attached to someone that they did not know. "Don't worry Maria. Do you really think that I would leave you alone for good? No matter who I'm fucking I will always love you. I will look over you no matter what." Alastor was holding her tight to make her feel safe about him not leaving her. What could Alastor do to show his daughter that he would never leave her again just like so many years ago again. As Alastor held Maria he thought about why she does not have a boyfriend. "Maria. Why don't you have boyfriend? That is what you need in your life so you don't think about such things." Pulling away from her he looks looks at the bracelet and how beautiful it looks on her.

Roxy looked over at her father. "Guys are assholes in general." She said. "I got enough bull shit to deal with, with mom and her always bringing her guys home." She added, wandering what his reaction to her response would be. "Unlike mom I don't need a guy to make me happy." She ended with a shrug. Truthfully, over the years she had put up a lot of walls and put on a mask for everybody so they would think she was okay. Now that Alastor was here it seemed he was doing something to her that even her friends couldn't: causing all of those walls to come crashing down around her. As the girl went on her eyes grew darker green than that had before, almost moss colored as the vampire inside her was trying to awaken. "If it was me who had a kid I wouldn't be threatening the father and then telling my kid all sorts of lies about him and I wouldn't be bringing home men I hardly knew to meet my daughter." She almost hissed.

Alastor understood perfectly why she didn't want other men but said nothing to her. "Maria. Bull shit is what help help humans go on living. If they did not have it they would kill themselves. Well seeing that you don't like your not to intact with your human emotions I understand." Looking up from her wrist he stared into her eyes as they turned colors. "I see that she is getting angry again." It was hard for Alastor to keep her calm now, her desire for him was starting to control her. This time he just sat back and waited to see what she was going to say or do this time. Then as he waited she snapped a little. "Well you are not your mother now are you? You still have your own mind." The way she spoke made him think of what a vampire she is going to become. Moving his hands to her face he kissed her again but this time on her lips. "Calm down." Talking in a commanding way.

Roxanne returned his kiss before pulling back some and closing her eyes. Roxy had no clue why she kissed her father, but right before she had there had been a strong desire in her to do it, like she needed to do it. She took deep breaths as she listen to her father's commanding tone as he ordered her to calm down. "Dad, what is happening to me?" Roxanne asked softly, keeping her eyes closed. She had no clue what was trying to awaken inside of her. Hell, she thought she was full human. All she knew was that her emotions were getting harder to control and that she kept going from one extreme to another. As she awaited his answer she opened her eyes, which were back to the lighter shade of green again and she locked eyes with her father. Just looking into those eyes that were so much like her's was something she found calming.

Before he answered her Alastor let out a sigh, "Don't worry about it right now. Just worry about keeping what happened to you on a low." When she looked into his eyes they were her normal emerald eyes that he loved so much. Seeing those eyes made him happy that he had a daughter that he loved so much. Rubbing his head he closed his eyes so he can put everything in his mind back in its right place. This was the first time Alastor has ever seen a hybrid act that way when they turned twenty-one. Before Alastor got up he told Maria, "I'm going to use the bathroom and then I'm going to leave." Walking away before he heard Maria's answer he makes it to the bathroom and thinks of what he is going to have to do with her.

She didn't respond, her green eyes just followed him as he walked up stairs until disappeared. Roxanne wanted him to stay but she didn't bother to say it. She figured if he wanted to leave he would do it no matter what she wanted. It wasn't like she could stop him from leaving. While he was up stairs she laid down on the couch, leaving enough room for him just in case he wished to sit back down when he returned to the room. As she laid there she felt her cell phone vibrate and pulled it out of her pocket. It was a text message from her mother. She just ignored it and slipped the phone back into her pocket. 'I'll deal with her once Dad leaves.' She thought to herself sleepily. As she laid there she was beginning to realize just how tired she was. Roxanne didn't even want to think about which poor excuse of a man her mother would bring home with her. The text message had read that her mother was on her way home and would be home in the morning. Roxanne sighed, trying to come up with an explanation as to where she had gotten the jewelry. As she waited for him to return she played with the Harley Davidson ring that was on her left thumb.

Alastor was in the bathroom for a good minute before he walked back down the stairs. As he took his time in the bathroom Alastor took a hand full of water and wet his face. Taking a towel from the closet he begins dries his face as he walked down the stairs. When he got to the bottom of the stairs he puts the towel on the bannister. Looking at Maria he thinks if he should leave her so soon. There was enough room for Alastor to sit down with her. Thinking that she probably wanted him to stay and sit with her he did not mind doing that. "Who was that on the phone Maria?" He was able to hear the ring tone from her phone all the way upstairs and wanted to know if she answered it. Feeling that she wants him to stay he decides to ask, "Do you want me to stay here with you?" Not wanting to leave but he was not sure if she would want him to stay. He did just tell her that he was her father and wondered if she wanted to take it all in by herself.

When she saw him walk back into the room she stopped playing with the ring of his that was on her thumb and looked down at him. "It was a text from mom. Said she was coming home." Roxy said with an eye roll. "She didn't say she was bring one of her boyfriends home with her but I would bet money she comes home on some guy's arm." She finished with a sigh. As she spoke it seemed her mind was elsewhere and by the way she was acting as she told him it was pretty clear that this happened more often than not. "If you want to stay you can, dad." She said, avoiding his question. Roxanne wasn't going to tell him yes, because she thought he would think that she was a big baby and that he would feel like he had to stay. She didn't even want to think about what might happen if he was here when her mother returned. There would probably be some huge fight between her parents. The way her mother was she would most likely try and blame why she was gone so often and why she always brought men home on Roxy somehow, trying to tell Alastor that she was the child from hell or something.

Alastor noticed the ring on her but never chose to say a thing about it. He was going to give her that ring to her when she got old enough, but he did not realize that he did not have it until years later. "So your mom is coming home tomorrow morning?" Nodding his head a smile came upon his face and looked out the window. She was not going to be home for some hours and Alastor would not mind seeing her again. "I will stay just so I can see your mom. And you say that she might come back with another man? I would like to see what kind of men she brings around my daughter." If the guy seemed to be an ass, then his blood was going to be his. When he turned his head to Maria she had a face like she was concerned about something. Not knowing what it was and did not want to read her mind he winks at her. "Don't worry Maria. I'm not sure what your worried about, but all I have to say is don't worry." Standing up he walks over to her and picks her up heading to the stairs. "I'm taking you to your room so you can sleep. Like I said I'm going to stay here with you but I'm going to sleep downstairs." When he made it to Maria's room he laid her down he and walked back downstairs.

Roxanne didn't fight her father when he picked her up and took her up stairs to her room. In fact, after he carefully laid her in bed and left the room it didn't take long for her to be fast asleep. Roxy believed her father when he said everything would be alright and not to worry. Even though he had been absent from her life for many years when she looked into his eyes she could seen the undying love he had for her, although she hadn't picked up on the fact that it was much more than the normal love a father and daughter shared. Roxanne also knew that he would do anything he had to, to protect her from any human. What was she worried about? About which man her mother would bring home. She was worried, though now only slightly that it would be the one she hated and was scared of the most: Keith. This guy was abusive and was around a lot when she was little. The guy had always insisted on her calling him 'Daddy' but she never did and because of that he slapped her around a lot. Hell, he would even do it when her mother was there and she wouldn't say or do anything about it.

Alastor chose not to go to sleep so he stayed up and walked around waiting for Maria's mother. He began to get tired of walking so he sat on the couch and put on some station. Looking up at the stairs he begins to think about how much Maria grew and how her body seemed ripe. Walking over to the stairs he hears the water running. Alastor tough that Maria was sleep so he went up the stairs to see who was in the bathroom. When he knocked no one answered so he entered. Opening the shower he saw Maria's naked pale body. Looking at her he takes his shoes shoes off and enters. Moving his hand over her body he decided to move his right hand to her pussy. As Alastor listened to her moan he started to kiss on her. Hearing the door open he gets up and sees Maria's mother walk in with some guy that seemed to be about in his early forties. "Hey." She looks at him and calls for Roxy.

Her mother looked over at Alastor as she entered the door, holding hands with Keith. "What the hell are you doing here?" She asked, clearly shocked to see her ex lover standing in her home. She glanced at her daughter as she saw her coming down the stairs. "Honey, take those gifts of his off. He only gave them to you because he can use them to easily influence you, not because he loves you." She said, sounding concerned. "Looks like he's already got you right where he wants you: believing every thing he tells you and thinking I lie."

It only took her father calling her name to get her awake and soon she was down stairs, obviously tensing up when she saw the man that was with her mother. When she reached Alastor she hid behind him, hugging him from behind. She was clearly scared at what the man might try to do to her, but she knew that with her father there if Keith tried anything that Alastor would kill him before he had a chance to touch her. Roxanne rested her head on her father's shoulder and looked over at her mom, ignoring Keith for now. "Drop the act mom. I knew you lied to me long before he came here tonight," she hissed at her mother. "And make him leave now before I walk out that door and don't come back." She finished. Having her father there seemed to give her strength and courage that she wouldn't have had other wise. As Roxanne spoke her eyes were growing darker as the vampire inside her was trying to awaken and Alastor was the only one who could calm her down.

"Just come over here with mommy and daddy and get away from that evil man." Keith said, talking to Roxanne as if she were a small child. "While you're at it why don't you give those gifts he gave you back to him and go put on what I gave you, baby." He suggested to Roxy. Sure, her mother had warned him about what he was, but he didn't care. He then looked away from Roxanne and at Alastor. "Why don't you take your leave already because I think we," He paused long enough to pull Roxy's mother closer to him, "have made it clear that you are not welcome here."

Alastor just looked at the poor excuse for a couple and heard Maria come down stairs. The fact that her mother told her to take his gifts off made him pissed. "The one that does not love her is you. You heartless bitch." Alastor knew that it would have been wrong for him to call Maria's mother that so he just kept it to himself. "So your still telling your daughter that hurtful things even when I'm here? Your hurting my feelings." He tired to show how mad he was at her by making fun of what she said to him. "Why would I lie to my daughter? That would be so mean if I hurt her like that."

Feeling Maria hold onto his back he had a smile of, 'She loves me.' Alastor was able to see how much Maria did not like Keith just by looking at her in the corner of his eye. When she held onto him his body tensed up ready to move Maria just in case something were to happen. It was hard to believe that her mother would say such things like that to her. He tried to remember what he did to her to make hate him. Her mother started to piss him off when she threatened to leave her. "So you would leave your daughter? I thought you loved her but it seems that you just want her to love you and only you." She looked at him hoping that he would just truly die. Maria gripped his waist harder out of fear and made him gasp a little.

"Hey Keith! How about you stop calling yourself daddy. She never called you it and she never will as long as she knows who I am." Alastor's fangs started to show out of anger and hoped that Keith saw them. "Gifts you gave her? Baby?" Shaking his head at the man he began to speak. "She is not your daughter! So stop trying to be!" Talking in a father like way. Alastor was ready to leave, he hoped that she was going to be over all this angry bullshit. "So you two want me to leave? Ok. Maria go upstairs and get your things." Her mother got mad and yelled, "You stop calling her that God damn name!" Keith felt that maybe it was time for him to grab on Maria. Just as he touched her arm Alastor broke it, "Don't you ever touch my daughter ever again." The cries from his mouth made him smile. It was still dark out, enough for him to get to a hotel. When Maria came back down Alastor took her bags and took them to the car. Her mother tired to stop him but he too her car and drove off.

The car ride was silent and they made it to some hotel in the city. Bringing the bags with him he was able to get a room with two beds. "Come Maria." They entered the room and Alastor laid down on the bed.

Roxanne got out and followed him silently as he ordered her to. When they got to the room she sat beside her father, looking down at him. Her eyes were no longer the dark green they had been before, now they were back to their beautiful Emerald color. In fact, they had changed back not too longer after they had left the house. "Thank you for staying with me, dad." She said before leaning down and kissing him on the forehead. She saw he was still mad from the argument he had gotten into with her mother and Keith, but hoped that the two of them being alone helped him calm down. "Daddy," she began. "I know this probably isn't the right time to ask this and if you don't wanna tell me what's going on it's okay," she paused. "But, what goes on with me when I get mad? I start to feel kinda... Weird and I feel as if I can't control my emotions anymore." Roxy explained, hoping he could give her an answer.

Alastor looked at his daughter as she stood over him with concerned eyes. Her kiss calmed him down as he thought about what to do with his new free time wit his daughter. "I will stay with you as long as it takes for you to be safe and happy." Closing his eyes he thinks of the last time he had a good killing spree. It was not good for him to think of such things. When he did think about it, it meant that he was going to kill the last few people that pissed him off. As he opened is eyes they started to turn black. Her question stumped him for a moment before he was able to answer it. "Um..." Eyes still black as he looked at Maria, "The vampire in you wants to either feed or kill who ever is angering you. You may not have noticed it buy your eyes tend to change when you are angry as well." Sitting up on the bed, but still looking at Maria he leans over and kisses her.

"If I never feel safe?" Roxanne asked with a sigh as she looked back at her father.If she was going to be honest about it safe hadn't been something she had felt since the last night she had been with him as a little girl. She was getting ready to ask something else when her father sat up beside her. Then he kissed her. That was something she wasn't expecting from Alastor. Roxanne let the kiss last a few moments before pulling back and looking at her father. "W... What was that for?" She asked, somewhat scared of what his reply would be. Something she found when he kissed her though, was that the vampires in her stirred a bit, but it wasn't the same as when she got pissed off at somebody. When he kissed her her emotions didn't become hard to keep a grip on. 'Maybe he kissed me to help the vampire in me wake up.' She thought to herself, not thinking that it could be that he loved her as far more than a daughter.

When Maria pulled away from him all she could see on his face was a smile. "What was it for?" Alastor sat there and thought of a good reason why he just did what he did. Eyes still black, "I did it because I miss my daughter." Again he began to kiss on her and pushed her body back till she was laying on the bed. He became hot so he took his hoddy off and tossed it to the other bed. Still kissing her Alastor opens his eyes, "God she looks so much better then her mother." It was not that hard for Alastor to look at Maria as not his daughter. Not being with her through her whole life how could he see her as just his daughter. It was common for male vampires to mate with their young even their sons which was rare for some families. Pulling back he asked Maria, "Do you want me to stop?" Though he wanted to fuck her Maria was still his daughter and wanted to respect that.

"You don't kiss your daughter like that because you miss her." She said, looking up at him when he pulled back. "Now, are you going to tell me the real reason why you're doing this? I'm not like mom, you can tell me anything and everything and I won't run from you." Roxanne said, her eyes getting only a shade darker than their original color and there was an angry growl to her voice. She could explain it but she knew her father was telling her half or part truths instead of whole ones and she wanted that to end here and now. "I won't think you're a monster." She said, her voice calm now, but her eyes had yet to return to their normal shade of green. Despite the fact that she wasn't happy with him right now she didn't try to push him off of her.

"I do kiss people because I miss them. Don't tell me that I don't and you don't even know me." Alastor is in control over his emotions but Maria does not know that. He wanted her to get angry with him so he could see what she can do with her new powers. All she will think is that his urges are taking him over. The anger in her voice started to make him want his daughter more. Her eyes got darker and Alastor knew things was about to get a tad out of hand, but he was welcoming it. "Monster... Maria there is a problem with that... I am a monster and proud to be one. Just as you should be." Alastor got up and started to walk around the room. "You seem to be getting angry again. Your eyes are beginning to darken again."

Once he got up and began to walk around the room she sat up and watched him with green eyes that were getting darker the more angry she got. "Me getting mad is exactly what you want, isn't it?" Roxy hissed at her father. "You want to unleash a monster that only you can tame." She added in a growl. She moved her hand up to the beautiful Emerald fang that was around her neck, which was now glowing. She didn't know if it really was glowing or if it just appeared to be because of the way the light was hitting it but when she tried to rip it from her neck in burned her. The girl yelped in pain. It seemed whatever the necklace was made of it was made to help Alastor bring out the vampire in her. She looked up at her father and thought she saw him grinning. "What the hell is this thing doing to me?" She asked as her eyes got even darker.

As he paced back and forth in the room he stopped and looked at Maria, "Yes that is what I want to see. There is nothing better to see than a vampire get mad and let their lustful side come out." She seemed to be a lot smatter when she is mad. He looked at the fang and seen that was finally starting to glow. The glowing was to help her darker side come out and play with him when she became angry with him. Alastor knew that her yelp meant that she was touching it while it was glowing and which was not a really smart thing to do. Smiling at her pain he watched as she kept on touching it to see what is going on. "Don't touch it with you hands Maria. That thing can either help you or make things not so good for you. It depends on the situation. Like you thought before. It is bringing the vampire out of you." Walking to the door he leans on the dresser that was standing next to the door. Looking at her like she was something to eat.

She watched him with dark green eyes as he walked over to the door. "Was mom right about you, that if you were around you would only use me or do you really care about me and love me like you once did that bitch?" Roxanne asked. The girl closed her eyes and took deep breaths and she awaited an answer from him. The necklace started to grow more and Roxanne could feel urges awakening in her. Urges to drink blood and she felt a strong love for her father forming, one that was considered wrong by most humans. As the glow of the necklace got brighter she felt herself becoming less human and more vampire. Roxanne was sure after answering her question he would be using whatever powers he had to help the necklace coax the vampire in her out. 'I just hope he really does love me.. The way he did love mom.' Roxy thought to herself, knowing how wrong that sounded but it was true.

When Maria called her mother a bitch his eyes widen as he smiled at her. "Wow you really don't like your mother. I hate her as well just not as much as you do." Alastor just stood near the door and watched as she tried to control the vampire in her. The more he watched the more it amused him. Wanting his daughter to love him he tried to bring the vampire out of her so whatever he did to her, she would not get scared. He knew that Maria wanted a answer but he thought that she should just float there for a little while longer, but he could say this, "I do love you Maria." It was said as if he was talking to her as a daughter and not as a lover. As the necklace glowed brighter his smile went from friendly to a possessed monster. Her eyes where still closed so she could not see the way he was looking at her. Maria's thoughts forced Alastor's smile to disappear. Walking back to the bed he grabs her and pulls her closer making her feel better. "Why do you want me to love you the way I did your mother?" IT was strange for a father to want his daughter but it was stranger for a daughter to want her father more.

She opened her eyes when she felt him take her and pull her closer to him. She now looked up into his face with green eyes much darker than the beautiful Emerald green color they normally were. Now they were a moss green color. After a moment she pushed him away and reached her hands up to the still glowing necklace. She whimpered and whined as it caused both second and third degree burns on her hands but kept her hands there and eventually got it off. Almost as soon as Roxanne got it off her eyes returned to their original color and she fell onto the bed, now extremely weak and vulnerable for her father to use his powers on if he chose to. "Get away from me. You aren't the father I remember." Roxy said with a weak voice as she looked at her father. After she spoke she looked down to where the necklace had landed, beside her on the bed. She half expected her father to pin her down and forcefully put in on her.

When Maria pushed him away she put her hand on her necklace. Maria's eyes was darker then before and it was soon to be black like his. Alastor loved nothing more then to see another vampire's eyes like his. The necklace was burning her but yet she was still trying to pull it off. Her pain brought him pleasure and the smell of burnt skin made him want to kill. Usually killing one person would be enough to hold him off for days, but after he seen Maria's mother and her boyfriend he was ready to kill someone or thing. After Maria ripped his gift off she fell to the bed weakened by the necklace. Looking at her necklace then back at her, "You should not have done that... You just hurt your father's feelings. I'm still the father you know and love..." Reaching over to pick up the gift he grabs Maria by the throat and said to her with anger, "I don't want to hurt my daughter... So just be a good little girl and put my gift back on or it will be sowed to your body." Raising the necklace to her face, he pulls her up with his hand around her neck. "Now put it back on!"
