It was December, a few weeks for Christmas and Roxy was on her way home from the part she had went to. One of her friend's was driving because she had been drinking and they were almost to her house. Roxanne had been drinking because she wanted to celebrate her twenty first birthday. At the party one of her so called friend's had tried to rape her, but Roxanne didn't plan on telling anybody especially her mom. Her friend driving pulled into the driveway. Roxanne thanked her before grabbing her bag and getting out of the car, walking the rest of the way up the driveway. She pulled her key out as she did and once she got to the door she unlocked it and stepped inside. Her mom was away on some business trip so Roxy would be alone most, if not all of her winter break. Roxy didn't see it as a big deal though, her mom was always going on some trip. Roxy walked up the stairs and up to her bedroom. There she changed into a pair of long, loose fitting pajama bottoms that were dark blue and had stars and moons all over them and she put on a plain black tank top, throwing a plain black hoodie on over the top she headed back down stairs.

Roxanne was beautiful for a girl her age. She had her mother's long and curly dark brown colored hair and Emerald colored eyes that she assumed she inherited from her father. She had some what pale skin. In her pierced ears were a pair of plain silver hoops and around her neck was a plain silver chair with a crescent moon hanging on the end of it. On her right hand thumb was a man's golden Harley Davidson ring she had found with her mother's jewelry. The girl had assumed it was her father's so she took it. If the ring was her father's it was the only thing she had of his. On her right wrist the words 'Moon Baby' were tattooed in a fancy script and around the words were purple shooting stars and blue crescent moons. She loved the night so that was her nick name. Roxy's mother had made damn sure she didn't remember her father and that she thought he didn't want her. The only memory Roxanne had of the man was one when she was young, before her mother and father had split up. She was maybe three in the memory and she was with a man who looked to be maybe in his 20's at the time. They were walking in what looked like a garden and it was the night of a full moon. She didn't remember much other than that except the man kept calling her Maria, which was her middle name. Roxanne sighed and just sat on the couch, turning on the television.

There was a man that seemed to be in his early twenty with almost the most pale skin you can ever see standing at the bottom of the stairs. He was wearing a black zip-up hoodie with a picture of a body that seemed to be drained of blood. Had a tattoo of a pentagon on his hand, a name that was in Latin. A necklace was hanging from his neck with a full moon. The kids was just passing him, saying things about why he was just standing at the bottom of the stairs without a drink. He was full and could not drink anymore that night. Holding his ear up at the stairs he hears little bit of ruffling and words like, "stop", "you prick", not moving he sees a girl come down the stairs looking a tad upset and then some guy looking as if he was about to kill someone. "Don't worry kid...someone will die tonight and it wont be her." The night went on and the guy left with some girl that seemed to put out on the first date. The pale man followed him out of the house to some car down the street. Fifteen minutes later he goes over to the car and pulls the girl out. She ran off with out saying a word. "Your not going to rape my daughter and get away with it." The guy swelled like a bitch and said, "She led me to the car!" Smiling he says, "NO FOOL! Maria!" Peeing his pants he looks at him and screams, "I don't know a Maria!...Wait you mean Roxy?" Just then he shoves his hand right into his chest licking the blood from his hand.

With his hood up he walks back towards the party and sees Maria get in a car. "Good she is safe." Fading into the darkness he makes his way to Maria's home waiting for her return. When she and her friends pulled up he was happy. As she made her way up to the house he waits for her friends to leave so he could look through the window as she watched tv. "My little girl. She is twenty-one." Looking down at his gift for her he walks over to the door and knocks hard.

Roxy looked over at the door when she heard somebody knocking. She got up and walked over to it, not bothering to look out it and she opened it. "Hello?" She asked as she looked at the man. She remembered seeing him at the party, but she didn't really know who he was. Roxanne had just assumed he was a friend of one of the people there. "You were at the party, weren't you?" She asked, trying her best not to sound tired. She just figured she had left something of her's behind at the party and he had come to return it. She didn't have a clue who he was nor did she know all that her mother had been keeping from her for years now.

The pale man was standing at the door looking at her with her gift in his hand. Smiling he walks pass her and looks around the house. "Humph. This place is looking good for a girl that stays home that is over the age eighteen. He stands in the middle of the floor with a gift in his hand holding it out for her to take. "My name is Alastor and happy birthday Maria." With his sexy emerald eyes he looks his daughter from head to toe. He was amazed as to what he has created with that pathetic excuse for a wife. Still standing in the living room he just looks at her "Well are you going to take it or not?" Talking as if he was born in this time in age.

Re: Daddy's little girl [XxMoonlightRomancexX and Crazy Shan

She closed the door and walked over to where he was. Roxy hesitated a minute before reaching out and taking the box from his hand. She looked at it then at him, then it finally registered in her brain what he had called her. "Thanks, Alastor. How did you know that was my middle name, though?" Roxanne asked as she looked up at the man. Most of her friends didn't even know what her middle name was and the one's that did never called her by it. As she waited for an answer she looked down at the box, wandering what was inside it. She took her free hand and opened the lid to the box to see what was inside. Roxanne hoped he would still answer the question she had asked him. 'Maybe he's a friend of somebody I know and they told him.' Roxy thought to herself.

Re: Daddy's little girl [XxMoonlightRomancexX and Crazy Shan

Being surprised that she took the box his eyes lid up for a split second. Trying to avoid the question he starts to walk around looking at the pictures they had up. "Wow not one single picture of me." He shakes his head and looks back a Maria. "So do you like it?" Hoping that she would say yes. "It is a necklace and bracelet that I got from France." The necklace was pure silver with a emerald stone shaped as a vampires fang. The bracelet was also pure silver that laid onto the wrist like a sports band, it had color jems placed in various parts of it. Still trying to stay off the subject of him knowing her middle name he says to her, "Do you want me to put it on for you?"

Re: Daddy's little girl [XxMoonlightRomancexX and Crazy Shan

She looked into the box once she got it open. "Their both beautiful." She said, moving her finger to touch the pointed tip of the Emerald shaped into a vampire fang. "Yes, I love both of them." Roxanne replied to him. "You can help me put them on if you like." She said, looking over at him and smiled weakly. "Why did you get something from France for somebody you don't even know, though?" She asked, moving the box the pieces of jewelry were in so that the stones on each piece caught the light as she waited for an answer. Roxanne decided to let the question of how he knew her middle name go for now. "Most of the pictures up there are of my mom and I." Roxy said to Alastor when she noticed his interest in the pictures that were hanging on the wall. "She's away on business like she is most of the time." Roxy added with a sigh, making it clear that she was used to being home alone.

Re: Daddy's little girl [XxMoonlightRomancexX and Crazy Shan

Taking the necklace from her he gently puts it around her neck. Moving in front of her he looks at it admiring how good it looks on her. "That necklace looks so good on you. It brings your eyes out more. Well the reason why I brought you a gift is because I'm part of your family." Taking the bracelet he wraps it around her wrist saying, "I'm glad that you like them." Alastor was smiling with his emerald eyes at her when he looked at her with her new jewelry on. It made him a tad bit upset when she told him that her mom is never home and always away doing business. If that was the case then she could have sent Maria to his home. Looking at the pictures his eyes turned to pure black then back to emerald. Her sigh dropped his mood from happy so see her to he was going to kill her mother for leaving her home all the time. "So what is it that your mom does again Maria?" Not able to stop calling her Maria he turns to her to wait for her answer.

Re: Daddy's little girl [XxMoonlightRomancexX and Crazy Shan

"How are we related? I don't remember seeing you before.. And.. " She paused as she looked up at him as he put the jewelry on her. "And I'm guessing you like vampires and would you know anything about my dad?" She asked. The longer she looked up into this man's face the more lost she was becoming in his eyes. Hell, if Alastor wanted to hypnotize her he had the perfect opportunity right in front of him. "I can't remember what she does. I... I just know that she is gone a lot."

Re: Daddy's little girl [XxMoonlightRomancexX and Crazy Shan

"Um...I'm from your father's side." His eyes were scanning her as she looked up at him. Walking to the couch as if he has been living there his whole life, he sits and looks at how the fang on her neck glimmer in the light of the house. "I wish I could see how beautiful that fang would look in the sun...but of course that would be the worst thing I can do." "Well yes I do like vampires. About your father...? What do you want to know?" Talking with his right palm underneath his chin.

Re: Daddy's little girl [XxMoonlightRomancexX and Crazy Shan

She walked over and sat next to him. "What was he like? I only have one memory of him and it's very vague. I've tried to remember more about him but it's like they are blocked out or something." Roxanne said with a soft sigh. "My mom keeps telling me that he left us because he didn't want me, but I have this feeling that tells me that's not the truth." Roxy said as she looked at her father, the Emerald fang around her neck shimmering whenever the light hit it. "I remember being maybe two or three years old and walking with an older man. The only things I remember about him are that he looked maybe twenty years old, he had pale skin, and he had the same color eyes as mine. It was night time and I was holding his hand, I remember how tiny my hand was compared to his." She stopped and smiled weakly at him. "His hand wrapped around mine and I remember feeling safe warm and safe. We were in some kind of garden." She continued, closing her eyes so she could imagine the garden in her head. "It was beautiful. All that was in the garden were roses of all different colors. The last thing I remember is him calling me Maria." She finished explaining the memory to him. Roxy was sure it sounded weird to him.

Re: Daddy's little girl [XxMoonlightRomancexX and Crazy Shan

Her question was going to be hard to answer becuase he does not even know what to tell her."Um...your.." Just as he was ready to talk she started to tell him about her last memory about her father. As she spoke, the memory came back to him as did the problem before he took his little girl out in the moonlight. Alastor was in the house being yelled at by his wife, Tania about how he was never able to stay at the house with them, how he always brought other vampires to her door asking for him. Choosing not to say a thing Tania started to get madder at him. All the sudden a flying knife just grazed his left side of his cheek. Looking at the blood he looks at her and says, "I will leave and never come around. Tell Maria what ever you want that happened to me." She starts to get pissed because he kept calling her Maria, his mother's name before she died. "Her name is Roxanne! And she will always be told that you did not want her." Not caring he walks out with his daughter and enjoys the moonlight.

When Maria was done telling her story he looks at her like she did not forget a single thing that night they spent together. "Wow. That had to have been a very beautiful garden?" Trying to lighten up the mood a bit. "So do you want me to tell you about your dad?"

Re: Daddy's little girl [XxMoonlightRomancexX and Crazy Shan

She nodded at his question. "Yes, please." Roxanne said with a small smile. She kept her eyes on him. "What was he like?" When she was old enough to understand she was told by her mother that he had left because he thought she was a mistake and that he was dead. Roxy, unlike her mother, was opened minded but after years of not hearing from her father she just assumed that he was dead. Hell, if he decided to tell her who he was tonight she would be upset at first, but after she cooled down she would listen to his side of the story. "Is he still alive?" She asked, figuring she would start with the two questions that had weighed on her mind the most for as long as she could remember.

Re: Daddy's little girl [XxMoonlightRomancexX and Crazy Shan

A smile came upon his face when she was happy about hearing about him. Looking down at her necklace he thinks of something to tell her. "Well... he was not able to be home so often because he had a night job and lived elsewhere. Not the best person to be around when he does not eat." Trying his hardest not to say anything that would push her away that much he looks her beautiful emerald eyes. "He told me how much he missed you every waking minute and wished how much he wanted to see you." Out of the blue she asks if he was still alive. Right then he wanted to kill her mother for actually telling her that. "No you father is not dead. Actually your father is me Maria." When he said those words he hoped that she would not be mad at him.

Re: Daddy's little girl [XxMoonlightRomancexX and Crazy Shan

She listened contently to Alastor as he told her what her father was like. Roxanne watched as his eyes wandered down to her necklace and then, as he spoke, she watched his eyes travel back up to her face and look into her's. It seemed that this was the first time that she realized that he had the same eyes she did. As Roxanne locked eyes with him she thought she saw a look in his eyes that seemed to be willing her to believe what he was about to say next. Then he spoked the words and she felt every muscle in her body tense up. She looked away from him and tried to gather the strength to speak and there were a few moments of silence before she was able to. "No, you aren't." She said, getting up off the couch she reached behind her neck and took the necklace off and hesitated a moment before taking the bracelet off and sitting them both on the table in front of the couch. 'Even if he is telling the truth he sure as hell isn't human.' Roxanne thought to herself, sure that he was reading her mind and knew exactly what she was thinking. Roxanne glanced at the man who said was her father. "You are too young to be him." She said, half expecting him to pull her back down beside him and put the jewelry back on before trying to explain to her. Honestly, he did sound like the man she remembered being with in the garden.

Re: Daddy's little girl [XxMoonlightRomancexX and Crazy Shan

Alastor knew that she was not going to be able to take what he said to her well. When she got up and took the jewelry off it hurt him so much inside. Not saying a thing he lets her try and take it all in before he was to say a thing. He could not believe that she said that to him, I'm not your father!? His eyes turned pure black again but this time they stayed liked that for a whole minute before they turned back to his beautiful emerald eyes. Looking down at the tablet he picks up the necklace and bracelet. "She really does not believe me." When she started to think about how he was not human, he knew that she could believe that he was her father. Alastor started to laugh when she said that he was to young to him. "Well... you are right I'm not human my dear. But I am your father. You can expect me not to be human but you can't believe that I'm your father?" He stands up and puts the gifts he gave to her up to her hoping that she would take them back.

Re: Daddy's little girl [XxMoonlightRomancexX and Crazy Shan

She looked at the necklace and bracelet that he held up to her and then looked up into his face and locked eyes with him. In her eyes were looks of confusion and fear and as she looked into his eyes she noticed something in his that would never be in her's. Roxanne noticed an aged look in his eyes as well a wise look. She was a bit hesitant but held her wrist out, as if telling him that if he wanted to put the bracelet back on her wrist he could. "If you care so much why did you leave, dad? And why are you waiting until now to come back when you knew where mom and I were all this time?" Roxanne asked. The last night he had been here when she was little she hadn't heard the fight that her mother and father had, he had told her to go outside and wait for him. "Ever since I was old enough to understand what death was mom constantly bad mouthed you and said you were dead." She said with a sigh, sounding as scared, confused and hurt as her eyes showed she was. She used her free hand to pull her long brown hair back from her neck, as if telling him he could put the necklace back on her, too.

Re: Daddy's little girl [XxMoonlightRomancexX and Crazy Shan

The question Maria asked him made him think of why did he truly leave. Alastor could have taken her by force or just threatened her damn mother so he could stay. Then it all came back why, the other vampires of his clan was going to try and kill him. Not telling her the true reason he told her as he put he bracelet back on her, "All I can say is I'm sorry Maria. Your mother did not love me anymore." It was the truth but then again it wasn't. Her mother did not love him anymore but that was not even half of it. Talking to Maria about the pasted made his skin crawl. That was saying something seeing that he is a vampire. When she began to speak again he looks into her eyes and sees the sorrow that was in them like she was a full vampire. "Well now you can not worry about all of that anymore seeing that your mother was a liar," talking in the most hateful way he could without alarming her. Alastor takes the necklace and puts it back around her neck. As he came closer to her he smelled her, she smelled just like her mother did when he first met her. "So... is there anything else you want to know?" Knowing that he did not answer her other question he tries to play her as if she was still a child.

Re: Daddy's little girl [XxMoonlightRomancexX and Crazy Shan

She looked up into her father's eyes as he told her why he had left and as he put the beautiful jewelry back on her that he had brought her. "You're lying, Daddy." Roxy spoke softly to her father with a sigh. Well, she really didn't think he was lying, she just could tell that there were things that he wasn't telling her. "I don't think mom ever did love you." Roxy said softly as she continued to look up into her father's face, not daring to ask who the lucky girl was who had his love now. Once he got the bracelet on she moved her arm back down to her side and watched as he stepped closer to get the necklace back on her. She smelled him once he was close enough. He smelled good, just like she remembered him smelling. 'Do all vampires smell this good?' Roxanne thought. There was one on vague memory she had of him and that was that she remembered she would always fall asleep with her small head on his chest and he would be either telling her a story or singing a song to her. Once he was done getting the necklace back on her she let her long hair go and looked from his face and down at the Emerald colored vampire fang. The girl seemed mesmerized by the way the light hit it when she moved. After a few moments of admiring the stones beauty she looked back up at her father. "Was mom right? Did you really hate me and not want me?"

Re: Daddy's little girl [XxMoonlightRomancexX and Crazy Shan

Alastor looked at her as she admired his gifts to her. There was nothing better then to see your daughter enjoy what you give her. "How does she know that I'm a vampire? She is to smart for her own good." Shaking that off, Alastor tried to think why she though he did not love her. Grabbing Maria by jaw he looks at her and tells her, "Like I said before you mother is a liar. I love you much that I'm willing to come see you. I would not miss my daughter's twenty-first birthday even if I had to see you in sunlight." Right then he knew that he should have kept his mouth shut. Letting go of her face he gives her a kiss on her forehead. "So what are you doing? You just going to stay in?" He sits on the couch and looks at her waiting for her answer, "Oh yeah... I killed the boy that tried to rape you tonight. No one tries to touch you that way and get away with it." Talking with a big grin on his face.

Re: Daddy's little girl [XxMoonlightRomancexX and Crazy Shan

She watched him as he sat on the couch. "Yeah, I'm staying in now." Roxanne said as she took a seat beside her father. "I was out drinking and look where it got me." She said, talking about the almost getting raped part of the night. The fact that he had killed the boy who had tried to rape her didn't seem to scare her. In her mind there was a question that she was too afraid to ask him: Am I part vampire? It made sense that she was, because she knew her father had been a vampire long before she was even thought about. Roxy just sighed and decided to ask another question as an attempt to drown out the question she really wanted the answer to. "So, who's your girlfriend or wife now?" She asked, figuring he had moved on. After all, her mom had. She had brought many men home to meet Roxanne when she was younger. It was her way to try and get Roxanne to forget who her real father was. Roxy half expected to see her father's eyes fill with anger because she was sure he knew all the things her mother had tried on her over the years to get her to forget him. As if she thought Alastor might be reading her mind she spoke. "Daddy," she began. "Nothing mom ever tried made me forget you."

Re: Daddy's little girl [XxMoonlightRomancexX and Crazy Shan

"Girlfriend... wife?" That question made him laugh hard enough that he had to sit up. It was to cover up that he was reading her mind about how her mother moved on and brought so many different men home. But his Maria knew he was thinking about and told him not to worry. Looking back at her he smiles showing his fangs as well. "Is this little one reading my mind now? Well I guess having human blood does make the best kind of hybrid." "No Maria I have not wife or girlfriend. I have had to much to worry about." But in reality he was sleep for almost half her life for unknown reasons. Leaning in he gives her a hug and kiss again on her head. "Thanks I'm glad that you had faith that I was not dead. So your not going to ask about your friend? It seems kind of weird that you aren't somewhat concerned about him."

Re: Daddy's little girl [XxMoonlightRomancexX and Crazy Shan

"My so called friend." She corrected him, the look in her eyes turning to anger and it seemed that anger made her eyes darker. "Friends don't try and spike your drink and then take you up to a room and try to rape you. Which is what that ass hole did." Roxanne added, before falling silent long enough so that she could calm down. When she spoke again her tone was gentle and worried but her green eyes still showed anger from even talking about that boy. "What is it you have had to worry about, dad?" Roxanne asked as she locked eyes with her father again, hoping this time he told her the truth and not some lie. Something in the back of her mind was telling her that he didn't have a new girlfriend or wife because there was somebody he wanted that he couldn't have, but she didn't even bother to guess at who she was, figuring it was some vampire girl she didn't even know. When he hugged her her and felt his lips against her head again she couldn't help but smile.

Re: Daddy's little girl [XxMoonlightRomancexX and Crazy Shan

Alastor was looking at her and seen that her eyes got darker. Right there he knew that the vampire in her wanted to come out and he was waiting for it to. "Your right Maira. Friends don't try to date rape their friends and what he got is what he deserves. Don't get mad Maira. It's not good for you to get mad." It is not a pretty sight when you see a rapid half vampire. Their emotions go haywire. "What do you mean what did I have to worry about? Your my daughter and I can worry about you anyway I feel it is needed." Smiling with his eyes he asks her, "What are you thinking about Maria."

Re: Daddy's little girl [XxMoonlightRomancexX and Crazy Shan

Soon her eyes went back to the normal Emerald green color that her eyes normally were. "You're right dad, it isn't good to be mad." Roxanne said and smiled weakly at her father. The teenage girl obviously not having a clue about the vampire that was sleeping inside her. She looked into his eyes and saw the look he was giving her. It was as if he were willing his daughter to tell him all that was weighing on her mind. "I don't know, Dad. I guess I'm just kinda scared. Scared that when you do move on with another vampire or whatever race you want to be with that I'll lose you, too." She said and looked away from him, looking at the floor. It was like she didn't want him to see how weak and vulnerable she was. Roxy decided against telling him about the feeling that was in the back of her one. The one telling her that he had moved on from her mother, just that the woman he cared for now, whoever she was, was somebody that he couldn't have.
