Nate was nothing special, a typical, shy, 14 year old nerd. Nothing eventful ever happened in his life. He woke up, had a shower, ate his breakfast and went to school. There he was bullied, picked on, laughed at, as was normal for the nerds and geeks, though Nate didn't even assosciate much with any of the others either. And so he remained isolated, coming home, eating dinner as his parents either talked about work or argued. After that Nate would just go upstairs, spend a few hours on the internet, do his homework and go to bed. It had been that way as long as he could remember really, and he never expected it to be any different. All he expected was school to be replaced by college and then college to be replaced by work. He knew his life would never be anything special, that he would simply be yet another forgotten drone bumbling his way through life. Nate had long since accepted that, the thought didn't even depress him. If anything the plan brought some comfort to him...at least he knew what to expect from life.

Tonight was a night just like any other. Nate had eaten dinner, his parents still downstairs discussing how their days at work had gone. They had briefly asked him about school, but as usual Nate had just smiled and said it had been fine. A lie of course, like every other day he had spent the day being bullied, but telling them would change nothing. They would be shocked, call the school, the school would give the bullies detention for a day or two then everything would start over again. It was pointless trying to change it, or getting angry or depressed about it. As usual, Nate was sat at his computer, browsing random internet sites. Varying between YouTube, computer game sites and the occasional porn website. Well, he was a teenage boy after all.
It was getting late, Nate preparing to shut the computer down and retire to bed for the night at the usual time. However, just as he stood up and walked across his room, something strange happened. At first his computer seemed to turn back on, Nate blinking and turning around. "Hm? But....I turned it off..." The monitor was just showing a plain white, though when Nate took a single step towards it, the light suddenly became brighter, Nate raising an arm to shield his eyes from the light. Moments later, a wind started to kick up around the room. "H-huh?" Nate stepped back, but the wind kept getting stronger and stronger, seemingly swirling around him. Eventually, it became so strong that it knocked the boy off balance, then even lifted him up off the ground. His scream was cut short as he was suddenly sucked into the light, the wind suddenly stoppping and the light fading to nothing, leaving the room now empty, Nate having simply....vanished....

Nate groaned slightly as he started to wake. "What happened...?" He raised a hand to gently rub his head, his other hand going to the ground to push himself up, only to find....grass? He opened his eyes and blinked slightly, adjusting his glasses as he sat up. Grass....he was on grass....it was brightly lit too...daytime. "What...?" Nate looked around slowly, surrounded by trees....he seemed to be in a very small clearing in the middle of a forest. "How...how did I get here...? Am I dreaming...?" The boy slowly stood, biting his lip as he looked around. "H-Hello?!" He called out, hoping to try and attract attention to get help. "Hello?! Can...can anyone hear me?!"

Jen was out on a hunting round for a change, she almost never bothered herself with such tasks, normally staying in her little kingdom. However it was necessary for her to do it once in a while to get out of the castle and give herself a brake from all the demands but she often did not get that chance. There were others travailing with her, a neko named Shara, who looked like a small panther but her face was almost all smiles and you could see that in her eyes. Then there was Damin her guard he was a huge looking monster that seemed to have no end to his mussels or scars from all the fights he had been in, it was easy to see why he was her protector where ever she was, his was a demon that was sworn to protect her and her family they had own his loyalty many generations ago and he would be soon free once again after her airs had passed on unless they struck a deal with him to try and get him to stay but he seemed to be looking forward to be going back to his real in a few hundred years. As they stocked the deer the neko was leading the way on the trail with her keen nose not expecting anything unnatural to happen to them since it just seemed to be a normal lovely day. Their had been no threats of war or anything like that there had been only a few bandit attacks but not one would dare try and attack her not matter how stupid they could be.

As the day dragged on they had finally caught the deer and slung it over one of their horses before starting to head back to her small kingdom, on the way back they started to hear sounds that were clearly not the normal sounds of the forest. The three of them started to head to the loud noises starting to realize that it was someone calling for help, they picked up their pace a little as the calls became more frantic. There was no telling what was happening to the person or if he was trying to be found, he was doing something very dumb indeed because there were still very dangerous creachers in the woods if you were not careful. They got to the clearing in about 30 minutes, they finally got to the clearing and hid in the shadows of the tree watching who was making all that racket. After watching him for a short time to see if he was alone Jen set out the small neko to meet the strange man and see what he was about, she only stood about 4'5 and was by far the least intimidating of them all. She walked into the opening slowly naked and covered with fur her breasts were small only a B cup or so and her fur was a deep black with green eyes. She slowly approached the male sniffing the air as her eyes darted around weary for any ambush that could happen, while Jen notched her bow and took aim just in case anything was going to happen she did not want her little friend to be hurt by anyone or anything.

"H-Hello?!" Nate coughed slightly, his throat starting to hurt from shouting for help. He hadn't heard anything besides a few birds chirping in the distance...it seemed he was in the middle of nowhere. "How did I get here....?" The boy slowly sat down in the middle of the clearing, hanging his head. "I was in my room going to bed and then...." He shook his head, slowly looking at his arm, then reaching over to pinch it. "Ow! Ok....not a dream then....maybe I hit my head or something....but I don't remember falling....there was just the light and then the wind...." He sighed slightly, looking up at the trees. "Maybe if I just walk in a straight line I can find a way out or something..." He bit his lip, thinking it over. They said that if you were lost then the best thing to do was stay where you were until help came....but that usually implied someone knew roughly where you were, as far as Nate was aware nobody knew he was here....even he wasn't entirely sure. Before he could do anything though he heard a noise, it had come from the trees. "Hm? Ah, hello? Hello is someone there?!" Nate stood quickly, turning around to face the noise, seeing some movement in the bushes before someone...or...some....thing emerged.

"Wh-what...?" Nate stared at the odd....thing....girl? She was humanish in nature but.....covered in fur...with cat ears and a tail.... "I...what....what are...." Nate backed up a little as she approached him. "D-don't come any closer!" Nate squeaked the words out, clearly terrified. The first thing that the Neko, and the others watching from the shadows, would notice was that Nate was human....virtually unheard of these days. Whilst humans had been so common as to be classed as the dominant species one or two thousand years ago, today they were so few and far between that some considered them to be extinct, or had never even existed at all, simply a mythical race of versatile magic users who had brought themselves to ruin...a fairy tale. Yet there Nate was....no wings, no pointed or animalistic ears, no tail or horns, nothing to distinguish him as anything but a normal human. "St-stop!" Nate backed up more as the girl sniffed at the air, her eyes moving around quickly. What was she doing? Was she getting ready to pounce? Was this some kind of wild animal come to eat him? "N-no....no don't hurt me!" Nate backed up a little more, then without thinking about it he turned around and broke into a run, dashing blindly into the forest, just trying to think of getting away from this thing, not even thinking that the forest could contain things much much worse.

Shara continued to walk closer and closer to the creacher not really knowing what it was, a strange thing that did not have any pointed ears or a tale or any fur. It was so strange just to see something like that she had never seen what ever it was before, she continued to walk twords it as it spoke, wanting to get closer before talking back. When she got closer she could hear the fear in his voice as he started to back away from her, she was wondering why she was scaring him since clearly he was bigger than her and most likely stronger if his looks were anything to go by. She knew that if she had to run she could get away from him easily considering he didn't look like he was built that much to running or really anything else. She started to wonder what he would be good for if anything, not knowing all that much about history or remembering much about humans since now not many story's have been told about them much anymore. Then once he turned and started to run something clicked in her head like what happens with most cats if something runs from them they got to chase this neko was no different. She started to bound after him,her speed easily surpassing his as she started after him.

Jen watch the interaction between the neko and what looked to be some sort of male she could not tell from this far away, she could see how scared what ever it was of her little friend. It was really strange because very few ever thought of Shara as scary, most people thought of her as really cute and friendly always wanting to play with her. The she watched as the male turned and started to run, she swore under her breath as the little neko started to give case after him. Jen put her bow and arrow away and started to run after them as fast as she could knowing that they would get out of sight really fast if they didn't case after them, her guard following right behind her.

Shara was playing with the male falling back then catching up to him over and over again, like a cat playing with a mouse, she had no desire to hurt him just play. However soon enough she decided that it was time to end her fun since after all she would have to get back to the princess and she did worry about her a lot. She put on a boost of speed then pounced on the male rolling with him and pinning him under her, then she panted and smiled down at him purring and breathing heavily. "I caught youuuuuuuuuuuu." She said playfully.

Nate had no idea where he was going, he just tried to keep running, moving between the trees, stumbling over fallen logs and branches, almost falling a few times, having to use a hand to keep his glasses on his face. He had no idea if the creature was still following him, he didn't dare look behind him for fear he would see some snarling animal chasing him with fangs bared. Unfortunately for him, he didn't need to look behind to become aware of what was happening. He suddenly felt something pounce into the back of him, knocking him to the ground and causing him to roll until he hit a tree, though when he stopped he just started to panic, flailing wildly and attempting to push Shara off of him. "N-no! Get away! Don't hurt me! J-just get off me! I just want to go home!" He scrambled desperately to try and get himself out from under the Neko girl, though Nate was even weaker than he looked. That was what he got for not exercising much.

"P-please let me go!" He heard the way she said she had caught him...playful....but then again that could just be playful in the sense of someone playing with their food before they tear into it....

Shara mewed down at him and held him down presssing her body down against him her naked furry body rubbing against him. "Why would I let you go? You are cute and fun to play with." She said purring not hurting him in any way just holding him there waiting for everyone else to catch up. "I am not going to hurt you but you will need to come with us it is not safe to be out here alone with no one to watch out for you." She stated softly. A short time later Jen and her guard caught up to them. "Well, here you are Shara. Made us go for quite a run, I hope our horses did not wander off. Anyways what did you end up getting there my friend?" She asked as she took deep breaths from the run and walked closer to the pair and signaled her guard to stay a little ways back not wanting to scare what ever this thing was even more then it already seemed.

Nate just continued squirming, though when he felt her rubbing against him through his clothes he couldn't help but twitch and squeak, going still for a moment as he started to become fully aware that she really was naked besides the fur covering most of her body. "I...I....y-you're not....not going to hurt me....?" Now that he actually calmed down and listened to what the creature was saying....well....she didn't have any real reason to lie to him right? If she wanted to hurt him then she probably would've done it right away, waiting would be pointless. "I....not safe....?" He blinked, though before she could offer an answer another voice came from behind them. "H-huh?" Nate stretched his neck slightly to look around behind them, then blinked and blushed at the sight of the elven woman, and her rather revealing outfit. "I...I...wh-who are you...? I...who...what..." His eyes drifted to her pointed ears, she looked like an elf from a fairy tail... "Who...who are you? I....wh-where am I? How did I get here? I....wh-why did you bring me here?!" Nate had stopped squirming, though it was mostly out of fear and confusion than anything else. "What do you want with me?"

Shara smiled down at him purring "No why would I want to do that?" She asked in response still holding him firmly on the ground not wanting him to run off again. "Yes it is not safe with all your yelling and screaming you could of attracted some big creachers and I tell you what I would not want to have to deal with them one bit. I am no match for most things out here but I do have some friends." She stated before her ear started to twitch when Jen talked.

Jen smiled down at the male as he wiggled under Shara trying to get free with little success. "Well my good male you are in the wilds of the north where me and mine have claimed as our home. There are many dangers here so few try and take it from us unless they are fools." She said with a grin her bow back in her hand now that they have stopped running. "As for who we are, the neko on top of you is Shara, this is Damin, and I am the princess of the wood Jen." She stated taking a small bow. "Now if you are finished running you should come with us and get get to my village where we will be safe. Come Shara." she commanded as she began to walk off to where the horses were to get moving back.

Nate blinked as the woman spoke, though when she mentioned someone named Damin he leaned up a little to look past her, then squeaked at the sight of the large man, quickly looking away again. These people were....well....either they were insane cosplayers or he had hit his head really really hard back in his room and this was some kind of coma or hallucination. "I...I...." He was in the wilds of the north? Sounded like something from a fantasy novel....he was certain he'd never heard of any such place really existing. "I um...I...well...hello...I...I'm Nate..." After she had introduced them Nate wasn't sure what else to do but introduce himself as well. "I um....s-sorry to ask but....why are you all in those...weird costumes....?" He started to slowly glance between the three. Crazy outfits, weird ears....those had to be costumes right?

"Your...village? I...well....alright then...." Nate nodded slightly. He got the feeling that it wasn't so much a question as simply her politely telling him that they were going to the village, regardless of whether he wished to or not. Given that they had already proven it took little to no effort to capture him once already, escape clearly wasn't an option. Besides, now that he thought about it, where would he go? At least these.....'people' were offering to take him to somewhere that sounded remotely like civilization.

Jen slowled her pace so the male would have little trouble keeping up with them as they headed to the horses. She looked back at him to see if Nate was following them "So Nate what are costumes?" She asked as they continued to walk, her bow out and ready as they walked threw the forest. Her eyes searching for anything that could be dangerous, hoping that they would not run into anything more eventful then what had happened already. While Damin walked by her side not really needing to use his eyes much because his senses were far better than any of the others. They got to the horses in a little under fifteen minuets then once they arrived everyone started to check all the horses to make sure everything was ok.

Nate blinked as she asked such an odd question. What are costumes? "Well...I...I mean costumes are what you guys are wearing....I mean....you're...dressed up like an elf...and....she's dressed up like a cat..." He looked at Shara, then to Damin. "And he's dressed like...like....I don't know what like...." He swallowed nervously. Whatever that man was it was most definately intimidating. "And....mine are....normal clothes...." He swallowed nervously once again as they continued to walk, then blinked as they came to a set of horses, though only three....he would have to ride with someone it seemed. "S-so um.....wh-what are you going to do with me when we get back to your village anyway.....?"

Jenfinished checking her horse before speaking again. "We are not dressed up like anything, young one we are as we appear, we have done nothing to change our looks. As for your cloths they look far from normal, no one that lives in my village would wear such a thing. It stands out far too much and you would not be able to hide yourself if you were forced to do so. As for what I plan to do with you. Nothing. I don't have any plans for you at all you can go right now if you wanted but you would not live threw the night. You may do as you choose, I will not force you to do anything you have done nothing wrong and you are not a prisoner. I was only planning to take you someplace safe since you don't seem to belong here but if you know where you are going then by all means we wont stop you." she stated as she got onto her horse looking down at the male. "You may ride with me if you wish to come."

They weren't wearing costumes....? This was....as they appeared? "I....what? But...but...but you don't even look human!" Nate looked between the three. Jen did look the most human but...well those ears....no human had ears like that. "I....I mean you...you're all....just..." He blinked again as he looked between them all, the confusion clear on his face. Still....she was right about one thing. If he didn't go with them he was likely to not survive. The group had constantly hinted at dangerous things living in this forest, and he had no idea where else he could go....he would have to go with them to have any real hope of getting home. "I...alright..." He nodded slightly, then looked up at Jen's horse, before clumsily starting to try and climb up onto it. It took him a good few minutes, but eventually Nate was on the horse behind Jen, though clearly unsure what to do next. "S-so um....what do I hold onto....?"

His question brought a giggle from the little neko and the demon shook his head not believing what this male was saying. Jen gave a small sigh "You are not from anywhere near here are you? Just wrap your arms around my waist and grip the horse with your thies and try and move with me and the horse. If you don't do those two things then you are going to be in for a bumpy ride and you will be sore by the time we get back. We will be riding fast so we can get back before dark so hold on tight." She said before kicking her horse into a trot then into a gallop.

"Um...I...alright..." Nate nodded slightly, feeling rather embarassed as he heard the giggling, then the sigh and disapproving tone in Jen's voice. "I....don't think I'm from near here...I don't even know where here is" Nate slowly wrapped his arms around Jen's waist, blushing slightly from having his arms around the waist of not just a woman, but an incredibly attractive one at that. Had he been more perverted, and more importantly considerably braver, he might have put his arms a little higher up her stomach, but instead he just wrapped them around her waist, linking his hands together to try and give him some extra grip, then yelped as they suddenly set off. It was rather obvious this was the first time he'd ever been on a horse, which did raise the question of how he got around since, in this area, it was virtually the only means of transport besides walking or magical teleportation.

Jen continued to ride at a brisk pace, the sun seeming to taunt them as it went down, slowly getting darker and darker. It was the early winter months so the sun goes down faster, making it hard to get the hunting done before they day was out. She felt sorry for the male sitting behind her, she could feel him bumping hard up and down behind her, it was clear that he had not ridden much before which was very odd. They continued on without talking not too sure if she should say anything more to him or not. However at the rate they were traviling they should be to their home just as the sun goes out of sight cutting it very close.

Nate closed his eyes as they rode, the ride uncomfortable, but that wasn't what concerned him. Now that he had time to sit and thing, the reality of his situation was beginning to settle in. He was.....far from home to say the least. At first he'd thought that perhaps this was a dream, but when he had fallen he had felt pain...you shouldn't...couldn't...feel pain in a dream. That left only two real possibilities. Either he was in a coma, or he really was here. He hadn't done anything that might put him in a coma...which left only the final possibility....this was real...this place was real....and he had no idea how to get home. "I.....are there other....people...around? Like me I mean?" He glanced around at the group, then bit his lip as he figured he already knew the answer. The way they had looked at him...like he was the strange one....like they'd never seen a human being before.

They continued to press on the woods starting to darken around them, not a very good feeling in these times, making everything more dangerous then needed. No one knew what this male was for sure but they all suspected that he was not from here or maybe perhaps the past. Then they all looked over at him when he asked his question no one saying anything for a time, drawing out a long silence before Jen answered. "People around? Sure there are plenty of people around here but no one like you. I have not run into anyone like you myself but maybe some of our elders have. I do not think anyone has seen any of your people for hundreds of years if you are what I think you are."

The way they didn't answer him, just continued on in silence, as if they were carefully considering their answer....it was an answer in itself really. Nate really was alone here. When Jen spoke it only confirmed what he already suspected. "I....I see...." He bit his lip and slowly shook his head. "I....c-can we take a break for a minute? I...I think I need to clear my head a little..." Being on this horse certainly wasn't helping him to relax, he needed to get away from these people just for a few minutes, gather his thoughts, clear his head, get some air and maybe a little drink of water. "Just....just a minute...I...I just need to be alone for a minute....please?"

Jen nodded. "We can stop once we get to the village, it is not far at all now." She said just as the buildings started to come into view. All the buildings seemed to be growing out of the trees and there were no more than 50 or so houses in the area. The elf's did not believe in settling that many on any given point to keep the forest in tact. Once they reached the border they all got off their horses and then she said. "You may go now, I would suggest that you do not go too far from here it can be cadaverous most things tend to leave us alone but you they just might not care because they would not think you are not under anyone's protection yet. So keep that in mind when venturing out most things can make it so you cant call for help. They are good hunters so keep your eyes open and be careful it is hard to hear cries for help in the woods."

Nate nodded slightly, glancing up as the village came into view. It was...small. Then again he suspected that it wasn't the only one in the forest. In the story books elves either lived in glorious cities, or in multiple small villages spread all over a forest. "I...thanks..." He slowly slipped off the horse when it stopped, stumbling and almost falling before managing to get his balance. He took a moment to get used to his surroundings, then slowly started to walk towards the edge of the village, just standing a little ways from one of the buildings, having walked around the corner and out of sight of where the others had stopped with the horses. "What am I doing here...?" Nate lifted his glasses and rubbed his face. "How did I even get here....? And why?" He sighed, asking nobody in particular. He just had to figure out where exactly here was and then work out a way to find a way back home. Was he in another dimension? On another planet? In the past or the future?

Jen shook her head and watched him start to wander off hoping he wouldn't be stupid enough to wander out of the borders of the town. She started to work on her lovely mare slowly taking everything off of her then starting to brush her down with long and loving strokes, ut was very important to take care of your own horse so it would know who cared for it. After everyone was done with their horses they started to the kitchens wanting to get the dinner on the cook fires before it got much later.

Nate had wandered just a little past the furthest building in town, moving to sit down on a fallen tree trunk, slowly reaching up to push his glasses up and rub at his face, taking slow, deep breaths. "Ok...well...just....make the most of things. I....mom did tell me I need to get out more...though I don't think this is quite what she had in mind...."

As she entered the kitchens, Jen's father, the King of the Forest, slowly entered. "Jen my dear, you've returned. I'd heard you were back....and the guards tell me you brought someone with you. Rumours are already spreading that it's a.....human? Is that true?" He raised an eyebrow, approaching her slowly.

Jen was helping getting everything prepped to start cooking if they wanted to eat anything soon. then she heard her father speak to her. "Hello Father. I see word tavels as fast as ever. Well we did find someone but if it is a human or not that has yet to be seen. I do not really know what to make of the male if he is from here or someplace else entirely. Maybe we can figure some way to figure out where he came from and what he it...."

The man slowly looked away and frowned slightly, just looking out of the window. "...Do you remember the stories I told you as a child? About the human who would come to this world at a time of crisis...who would rise and unite the kingdoms of the world to defeat a terrible evil.....how I told you about the Elven Princess who would one day marry him?" He glanced back towards her. "...Those were not simply stories Jen....it is an ancient prophecy. We have long suspected you to be the Princess described in the Prophecy....and this boy...this....human...if he is such a thing...could well be the hero we have been waiting for..."
