What do I do with her now? ((runawayninja and mistressflames))

Rafe looked at her, about to do the deed when she brought up the matter of trust. He looked at her and frowned softly, his eyes narrowing. "Alright...you're right." He slipped a key from his back pocket out and he undid her binds. He stood there, looking as if he were contemplating something. Then he moved to the dressed and brought out some more proper clothes for a woman, a simple white t-shirt and some black denim jeans, both of which were tossed to her.

"I'm sure you're hungry and thirsty." He said as she dressed and he motioned for her to come with him. He led her downstairs and into a kitchen area. The house was pretty spacious and the rest was as well furnished as the bedroom. He went to the kitchen and brought her out a sub sandwich with Italian meats and some orange juice. "Here..." He looked at her slowly. "I'm considering whether or not to remove that collar." He said pretty bluntly.

She sat stiff, watching him cautiously. She was sure the ninja was going to pounce. It made her jumpy. She almost pulled away when he came to her with the key, then she realized what he had just said. She was right? A large sigh of relief visibly traveled through her body when he retreated to the dresser. Without a word she stood from the bed and changed into what she was given. She did not worry about asking for any kind of langeree, she was just happy to have thicker clothes to wear. She was surprised to see that the clothes actually fit. He must have checked her size when she was unconscious.

"Yes, actually I am." She nodded her head and followed him down stairs. Her eyes scanned over each area they passed. She was surprised by the nice furniture but was more concerned with noting the exits. Any windows or doors she could lock herself in or out of. She was also searching for any other residents to the place. "You have a nice place." She complemented him as they stepped into the kitchen. She did not hesisitate to take the food. He was not the type to use poison. He had already made it clear she was more valuable alive. Emma leaned against the counter and had already taken a bite from the sandwich when she spoke his thoughts. She swallowed bring her hand up to the collar he spoke of. Her eyes narrowed on him ever so slightly as she tried to read this masked man. She wanted it off but this felt like a trap. "What is the catch?" She asked.

"Well the catch is I don't want you to turn into a cheetah or something and run out the window. Or turn into a goddamn dragon and eat me. Granted I have...talents of my own, its a severe risk for me." He looked at her as she ate on the sandwich and he poured himself some orange juice. "Emma...you can call me Rafe for the moment. Are there any limitations to your transformation abilities that I might like to know about? Just so you know, lying to me will have consequences."

She could imagine the scinereo’s playing out through her head. It was graphic to see a giant dragon trying to digest the man however it was not a horrible image. Not after what he had done. “For a criminal you do not take many risks.” She noted before eating another mouth full of the sub. It was really good for a sandwich. Since she had woken up everything had been threats and precautions to save his neck. As much as she wanted to, she could not take him as being completely horrible. He was probably the only criminal in the world whom had a completely naked girl under him and actually stopped before he was satisfied.

Emma considered both options she had before her. She could lie about her shifting and say that animal transformation was impossible. It would give her a chance later to escape but that was assuming he knew nothing about shifters. He could be testing her or he could learn from a friend that she lied. Then she would likely be back in that bed naked or worse. The second option was the utmost truth. She could explain it all to him. Then she might be giving too much. In the end she went with need to know bases. Hopefully enough to get the collar off.

“I would not eat you. I can’t imagine you would go down easily and you would taste awful. Not to mention I would have the worst heart burn.” She half joked. "If I was going to do something like that don't you think I would have done so before you kidnapped me?" She added in her favor. Watching his reaction carefully she continued with a more appropriate answer. “Humans are easy to shift into. From an adult to a child it does not really matter. Animals are different story. It requires dedication and practice. Most shifters you meet will only transform into one or two creatures. Its rare to find a shapeshifter who has mastered more than that.” She said before pausing to rinse her food down with orange juice. “Extreme transformations, like turning into mice or dragons are actually quite painful."

He seemed amused for a moment when she talked about how terrible he would taste, but he lost his amusement when she began to steer away from what he asked. He grew a serious face, but his tone didn't raise too high. "I didn't ask for what master shapeshifters could do, I asked what you could do, what you know how to do." He looked at her with a serious, stony look on his face, but even that slowly softened.

"Well...trust." He said softly. "Alright, you've told me a little about you several times already, so I'll give you a lot about me. Or at least what I think I can tell you. But I still want the information I asked of you..."

He slowly sipped some orange juice, obviously putting thought to his words. "I am a criminal, you're right about that, and I don't take many risks because every risk is a potential fuck up, and fuck ups are what get people caught or killed. I assure you, if I was caught, there would be no trial or jury, I'd be executed on the spot or put in some shit hole prison someone isolated, tortured for a while, and then shot in the head. I have done some illegal things, some of them within the purview of the federal government and some of them without such permission. There are people who would like to get their hands on me." He paused and looked at her, deep in her eyes. "I do what I do for a reason. For...good...reasons. Am I a moral man? Not entirely, a moral man doesn't kill. I have lines I try not to cross. Like you for instance...killing you would have made things a lot easier, but...I didn't feel like I should. Not your fault you were working there when I was coming to kill your boss but..." He shrugged a bit. "Here we are."
