Lustfull_Sin said:Princess agreed with him in not dropping guard. She wasn't sure how dangerous these guards were.So far, they didn't cary any dangerous weapon like a gun.She had a bat, so at least she had a bit of an advantage with her weapon, unlike the guards."Paradise is a word that shouldn't exist anymore."she said in a whisper.Seriously.She expected a great life, but instead, here they were, seeing disarray and chaos and who the fuck or what the fuck was an Overseer?"What's an Overseer?"she asked in a whisper, though she knew Orin didn't know that answer."I think we can take them. Its only two of them and their melee weapons are a bit weak.I think-"She stopped, hearing Orin's boot squeak again. She closed her eyes and pressed hard against the wall next to the door."Hope they didn't-"She stopped talking when she heard the guards call out.
Looking at Orin, she wasn't mad at him.Truth be told, this was rather a good thing.Might as well get rid of a few harmful people and try and find anyone who wasn't harmful.Hearing boots squeaking and foot steps stomping hard on the ground, Princess knew for a fact that they were coming this way.Sighing quietly, Princess looks to Orin for a moment, then turns her head and sees one of the guards cautiously enter the doorframe. He turned his head just in as Princess raised her bat and swung, though the guard was fast and raised his baton."Fuck."She said and raised her leg and kicked the guard in the gut, sending him back against the other guard.Princess went through the door, seeing both guards on the floor, moving fast to get back on their feet.Raising her bat, Princess swung, but the guard she was aiming for rolled away, the sound of wood hitting floor echoed.Cursing, Princess looked up, but was to late to avoid the baton that got her on the shoulder. She yelled in pain and fell onto one knee. While she was dealing with this guard, the other went after Orin.
Orin returned her quick gaze and then watched as the first one came into the door frame. He quickly pulled his hunting knife out and though he hated using his gun one handed, he knew he was going to have to fight up close given the layout of the place. Not a great choice for long range altercations. He watched as Princess delivered her mighty kick to the guards gut and sent him flying backward. She was very good, but he already knew that. Orin watched the small skirmish for a moment, training to train an aim on either of the guards but it was futile, as they were all so tight together. He wasn't going to accidentally shoot Princess. That would have been bad. His eyes widened a little as he saw two simultaneous events occur at once, Princess was on the ground after getting hit in the shoulder by the guard while the other was charging his way at Orin. Orin fired once as the guard got closer "Shit!" Was all he could muster before bringing his knife up to block one of the guards blows. His shot had been dampened or something by that damn vest. Not good. He was going to have to rely on his weak melee skills to get out of this one. He Thrust out with his knife and caught the guard across the chest before he delivered a swift kick towards the mans family jewels. He used the kicks momentum to sprint forward and slashed at the second guard clipping his baton arm. He was going to need Princess's help on this one, and if she was down for the count there was no way he could really help her. The guard rushed towards him and swung, somehow managing to keep a loose hold of the weapon as he bashed at Orin's stomach. Orin felt the force of the stick push into his chest and with a thudding breathe he was sent back. Orin brought his knife up to block a quick attack from the guard and then sidestepped around to the mans back before forcing the knife into his back. Blood began to pool at the wound and the guard released a gurgle as blood began to trickle down his face. Orin used his hand to yank the blade from the man's back, before forcing the blade back into another part of his back. The guard toppled over and Orin followed trying to pull the knife from the man's back but with a greater amount of difficulty this time.
