Kiana actually let out a sigh of relief when he said he didn't expect anything of her that night. She didn't realize she was nervous until he lifted that weight off her shoulders. "Lund... I want you. You know I want you every moment of every day but..." she moved to rest her hands over her bellt, "I know you said you would accept me if I carried one of... those men's... baby. It could be yours if there is one but I just, I would feel better knowing for certain if I carry a child now or not. For if I don't, I want no doubt that it belongs to you when finally I become with child." She nipped her lip, "I wish to wait. It should only be a week or so until I know for certain."

Lund places his hand on her cheek softly as he looks into her eyes. "I never expect anything you don't want darling. Were along here no one will know if we do nothing or spend the night expressing our passion." He laughs softly as he caresses her cheek playing with a strand of her hair as he looks into her eyes.

She smiled, "Thank you... husband." Her pretty smile only grew brighter as she let the word husband dance over her lips. "Husband. I rather like the sound of that." Leaning in, she gave him a soft, lingering kiss upon her lips. The sweet moment was distubed by the low rumble of her stomach. She pulled away, blushing a little, "Well... we did skip the evening meal. And the noon meal. And... the morning meal. All we ate today was that apple we shared."

He nods as he sets down his cup reaching for the bread and cheese. He breaks off a large piece holding it out to her. "These are for you my wife." His voice breaks into laughter as he repeats the word enjoying the feeling of saying it. He takes a bite of the cheese as he moves to the bed. "What will you do Kiana if you are pregnant?"

She moves to the table to prepare them both a plate of the food provided so they could dine like a couple at the table. Sighing as he asked the question of her, "I pray I am not. I know you say you will accept the babe as yours no matter what but...." she shook her head a little, "It is a bridge I will have to cross should the moment come. But I would much rather have a babe that I know with all my heart and soul is a product of our love." She smiled a little towards the end of her answer as she motioned him to the table. "Sit, eat with your wife. We will both need the strength and rest if we are to return and face your family tomorrow." She took her seat but before picking at her food, she paused, "What do you think they will have to say about what we have done?"

He stands sipping at his wine as he moves towards the table sitting. He let's out a playful laugh as he pulls her into his lap. "They most likely will be very angry at me then the angry will shift to blaming the war for changing me." he smiles as he caresses her cheek. He picks up a piece of cheese offering it to her.

She takes the cheese from him and nervously nibbles at it, "Do you think they will demand some kind of way to terminate the marriage? Is there a way? I suppose I didn't really think this idea all the way thought before we took off like two thieves in the night."

He smiles as he touches her cheek softy as he pulls her close. "Dony worth darling. We are married by the law of the land and the gods. They can't just make out marriage go away." He moves to pull her close gently kissing her as his arms wrap around her waist.

She only hoped he was right. "OH!" she said suddenly against his lips. As she pulled back, she had a small smile on her face. Then she raised her hand up to show it to him, "I think I am missing one more thing. Something that goes on this hand I think?" Kiana waited for him to place his signet ring on her hand. "It might only fit on my thumb..."

He smiles as she pulls back looking into her eyes softly. His fingers move along her side sofly as he slips his own signet ring off. "Since were married now I could redesign my person signet if you wanted to add something darling." He gently slips the ring on to her proper finger smiling. "I'll have to get you a proper ring my love."

She looked upon the ring on her finger, playing with a little bit with it as she studied it once more after having studied it so many times before. It seemed to look different to her now that it was upon her finger. "No, I quite like how it looks. I wouldn't change it at all," she turned her eyes to him, smiling softly as she brushed her hand over his cheek, "just like I would never change you." Leaning in, she kissed him gently. As she pulled back, she nuzzled her nose against his a moment, "I love you."

He smiles as he watches her study the ring. His fingers move to play with her hair running his fingers through it. He returns the kiss she gives deepenin it slightly before it breaks apart. His eyes look into hers as their noses touch softly. "I love you darling." his fingers gently take her hand entwining their fingers together as he leans closer to her.

Resting her head then against his shoulder, she could not stop a long yawn from escaping her as she snuggled her head close to his neck, eyes seeming to be so heavy suddenly. "A long day of riding, then worry, then even more riding makes a person very tired..." she commented as she laced her fingers willingly with his.

He gives her hand a soft squeeze as his other arm works its way around her waist gently. He smiles as he feels her head on his neck. "You should try to rest then darling." He kisses her forehead softly as he tugs a blanket off the bed and around them tightly. "Ill keep you safe through the night."

"Will you keep me safe forever?" she asks him as he just snuggles a bit closer to him. It might seem a little funny how the pair of them were snuggled together sitting in a chair at the table, yet she was more comfortable like this then if she was no longer in his arms at all.

Lund smiles softly as he pulls her closer kissing her forehead. "Ill keep you safe forever my love." His arm encircles her waist squeezing her even tighter to him. "Now rest darling. You sound aboslutely exhausted." He begins rubbing her back softly as he nuzzles her head softly.

He did not have to tell her again for only moments later Kiana was fast asleep in his arms. Perhaps she was more exhausted then she cared to admit to herself. Yet with the problem of marrying him lifted, she seemed to be at last at least a little bit relaxed. The threat of his families reaction to what they had done still lingered in the air but there was nothing they could do. So it really was not that big a problem. Not something to loose more sleep over.

He smiles feeling her relax fully in his arms. He wraps the blanket around them even tighter making sure they can keep warm. He glances down at her face softly as he continues to hold her refusing to sleep for the moment even as he yawns from time to time. "I love you Kiana." He smiles kissing her cheek softly.

The night passes in quiet bliss. Kiana slept like a rock, not disturbed once the entire night. The sun was already rising in the sky when at last with a yawn and a small stretch her eye fluttered open and she looked around to find where Lund has ended up in the night.

Lund has set Kiana on the bed sometime in the night keeping her covered up. He has kept the fire up and blazing through the night. He doesnt hear her wake as he stands before the window watching the sunrise before him. He runs his hand over his face yawning again softly.

Kiana yawns once more as she sits up, the bed squeaking a little as she does so, "Didn't you sleep at all?" she asks softly as she stretched her sore bones once more. The bed was warm but not very comfortable. It would be nice to spend this next night in his bed back at his home.

Lund turns hearing the bed squeak. He lets out a gentle laugh. "No I couldnt sleep really. I didnt want to disturb you though." He moves to sit on the bed next to her. "How did you sleep tonight darling?" He tilts her head kissing her softly as he pulls her close.

Giving him a sleepy smile as she leans in and gives him her own kiss, she sighs, "I slept though I think I would have slept better if you had been doing the same beside me." Moving closer, she wraps her arms around his waist lightly, just holding him, "Do we leave soon? By now they must realize we are gone. I don't want any kind of blame to be thrown upon Nessa or Angus for helping us."

He smiles as he wraps his arms around her waist pulling her close once more. He leans into her looking into her eyes. "We can leave anytime you want? The priest will believe we have consumated our marriage." He smiles as he playfully lets his hand brush against her breast watching her eyes for a reaction.

Guilt filled them of course as she held his gaze a moment then let them slip to look away from his, "I'm sorry. It was not exactly the wedding night I'm sure you imagined you'd have. I promise, I will make it up to you. When I know... I will give you a night worth five wedding nights. I promise you."
