"I'm sure she was not sure how long it would be before we woke up. Did not want food to go cold on us if we slept late." The water sloshed around for a bit before she rose up from the tub and took a towel, wrapping it around herself as she came to the table herself, taking a seat and picking at the food before her. "Like how the water will grow cold on you if you don't get moving."

Lund smiles as he stands after she sits. "I dont know, I might need the water to get cold after seeing you like that love." Moving past her, he leans in to give her a quick peck on the cheek. Humming to himself he slips into the water relaxing for just a few moments. "So what is your plan for the day, after you make up with our daughter of course." He doesnt stay long in the tub already feeling the water turn cold. A towel is wrapped around his waist as he rejoins her at the table.

She shrugs a moment as she stands up to go get her clothing together. "Sarah is my days," she smiled a little as she picked a simple dress for the day, quickly changing into it to not tempt him with a look at her bare form. "I will spend time with her. When she goes down for her nap, then I will go and see to Lily. She is so busy with the wedding I'm sure she could use some help. Then it's back to Sarah again." She mentioned nothing about her old daily routine of tending in her old healing hut.

Smiling softly he lets out a soft whistle at seeing her dress. He begins to sort through his clothing picking out a simple outfit for himself as well. "What about going down to your healing hut, like you used to love. Im sure the people would appreciate having a healer amongst them once more." He finishes buttoning his shirt watching her reaction to his words of starting her hut back up. He leaves his sword against the wall, but does slip a dagger into his belt.

She paused noticeably, freezing for a moment really before picking up her movements once again. "Sarah needs me close by. Besides, all the people know where to find me here. I am still the healer here, just a mother as well." She comes over and gives him a kiss upon the cheek. "I will go get Sarah her breakfast then meet you in the hall with your family."

He manages to slip an arm around her waist as she kisses his cheek. "Im sure some of them would feel better if you had your hut open." He sighs softly as he watches her shaking his head slightly. Dressing quickly he moves out of the room to head to his office, beginning his work for the day. Most of the day he is distracted as he thinks of Kiana worried about her.

Kiana hide away her inner demons and fears as she went to Sarah. As she predicted, her daughter greeted her with a pout that screamed of saying 'and where have YOU been?' But after a fine breakfast at her mother's breast, she was fare more agreeable. After a little play time, Kiana realized she felt lonely, even with her daughter. An idea came to mind though as she made sure that Sarah looked all neat and pretty as he picked up a few toys and carried her down the hall, knocking at Lund's office door. "Knock knock... are you seeing guests today my lord?" she asked as she entered with the baby.

Lund studies over the papers his father has left for him. With a sigh he tosses them down on the desk rubbing at his temple. He had never been trained for such a job, but now it fell upon him quite heavily. Glancing up at the door he smiles hearing Kiana's voice. "Im sure that I can fit a few guests into my busy schedule." He stands up moving to hug both his wife and daughter tightly.

The second she sees daddy, mommy is suddenly old news. Sarah's little hands reach out for him as she grunts. Her little sign that she wanted something. It was clear what it was at the moment. "Oh sure. Now that she's used me for her meal she wants her father..." Kiana says with a light laugh as she hands the baby over to her father. "It's amazing how she has taken to you."

Smiling softly he takes Sarah cradling her in his arms. "Ohh there you are darling. Daddy is here for you." He smiles softly as he kisses Sarah's forehead. "Is mommy being mean to you?" He smiles softly as he looks towards Kiana with a laugh. "So what brings you two down here today?" Holding Sarah still he moves back to sit at his desk smiling softly as he plays with Sarah keeping that smile on her face.

"I am not mean thank you very much. If anything SHE is mean to me. The way she uses me for milk while she waits to be carried to her daddy for his whistle." In fact in that moment, Sarah's little face looked up at him and her brow wrinkled into a displeased face. "Look at her there. If she could talk you know what I think she would be saying? Why have you not started with that sound I like yet." Kiana came over to sit upon his desk as he took his place back in his chair, "Does your wife need a reason to bring your child for a little visit? I thought you might like a small break from your day to just sit with us."

Lund smiles softly as he notices the look of displeasure that crosses Sarah's features. He playfully touches her nose smiling at her for a moment. "You will have to give me just alittle more time my dear." He sighs as he glances at the paperwork spread across the desk in front of him. "I dont understand how my father expects me to deal with all of this. I wasnt trained to do this." He shakes his head as he glances at Sarah letting out a quick whistle for the girl.

Kiana watched the baby's face light up at her father's action. She lets the babe have a few moments of it before she leans forward and cups his face in her hands, looking right into his eyes before she gave him a kiss on the forehead, then the nose, "You can do it love. I know you can. Will it take time? Yes. But you are strong and so intelligent. I know you can do anything as long as you put your mind to it."

Lund glances up at Kiana as she cups his face. Forcing himself to smile at her, he leans in to kiss her softly on the lips. "I'm not so sure I have your confidence love. Most of these numbers mean nothing to me and I feel foolish." He pushes some papers to the side as he whistles for Sarah again. "Days like this make me wish Jas was still alive to take care of all this." He runs his fingers through his hair slowly.

Kiana's face looked grim, "If Jak was still alive....... you wouldn't be..." she said, the truth in her words painful yet that did not make them any less true. "I know you didn't want things to come to this and I will forever regret what I caused to happen. What my part in your life made you have to do for mine and Sarah's safety..."

Lund stands up moving to hug Kiana tightly for a moment. "I didnt mean it that way darling. If things had just been different we could have had a simpler life." He turns towards Sarah whistling for her again. "A simple life just raising our daughter to enjoy life." He leans in and kisses Kiana tenderly on the lips.

Kiana did not smile as she kissed him. He could never understand could she? "There was no simpler life for us with Jak, Lund. Your brother never would have allowed us to live as long as we could have produced a son to be an heir. It was this life or no life at all and I'm sorry to you for that."

Lund shakes his head softly as he turns to look at the window his office has. It was one request he had of his father if he were to be cramped up in the manor. "I could have settled us in different lands my love. I brought you home never thinking things would go this way." He sighs beginning to rub his temple softly as he feels a headache starting to form.

She seems him getting frustrated and it only makes her feel worse that she was the cause of it. She moved to him and reached to take Sarah from his arms. The baby for once reaching back for her mother. She seemed to sense her father's mood as well, "Forgive me, I did not mean to put a burden upon your mind like this. We will leave you be."

Lund sighs softly as he turns towards the two. "Please don't leave. I'm just finding all of this frustrating and Never should have put this on you." Leaning in he kisses Kiana and Sarah on the forehead. "Perhaps I should take a break and eat something. Would you like to join me for lunch perhaps?" He reaches up letting his fingers run through her hair looking into her eyes.

She smiles ever so slightly, "Alright. That does sound like a good idea. Food will help to refuel your mind love. You didn't come down for a proper breakfast before you started you work. I am sure you are running on empty by now. Come let us go down to the hall. Lunch should be served shortly."

He nods softly as he begins to whistle softly. The whistling continues as he straightens up his desk to make it look somewhat neat. Slipping an arm around her waist he walks through the halls with them. Just to tease Sarah he pauses often in the whistling smiling as she gets upset about the interruption. "She is a handful just like her mother."

Kiana poked him in the side a moment, "You sure you mean a handful like me or a handful like you?" She raised a brow in challenge to him, daring him to deny she had a good point. As they entered the main hall, the rest of the family was already there, waiting for the meal to be set out before them. Kiana seemed to shift in that moment, her face growing serious and her spine just a bit more rigged to stand more properly. Always trying to impress his parents and make herself seem like a good, proper wife for their son.

He jumps just abit as she pokes him in the side.etting out a heart felt laugh he shakes his head quickly. It seems he knows when to retreat from his wife. He raises an eyebrow as they enter the dining hall. Placing us hand on her back he guides her to a chair whispering just for her ears. "I think I mean more like you." He gives her a wink as he takes his own seat. Turning to take his own seat he acknowledges the family.

"Let me hold her," Lily says as she reaches out greedily for the baby in Kiana's arms. Before she could really give up the baby, Lily had her in her arms and was fawning over her. She did not have much time left to spoiler he little niece before she would be heading off to her life with her soon to be husband. "Oh my, my, my look at you today little miss Sarah. Now that you know how to smile, you certainly do it often."
