Reilly was lost in his eyes, as he spoke.
“I thought about teaching once, but decided on nursing after my mom got pretty sick the last time.” She trailed off, she didn’t need to get into that end of things. Reilly pulled her eyes from Lance’s and looked at the clock. They still had twenty minutes before they could leave and get to the pool.
“So what grade do you want to teach, and what subject?” She could only imagine the girls in his classes swooning over him.
She smiled mischievously as she contemplated. If he’d been one of her teachers, oooh the trouble she would have gotten into. Reilly had been a touch on the wild side when she’d been in junior high, an outrageous flirt, who knew her body drew the attention of the boys. She’d stolen a couple of boyfriends, and broken more than a few hearts with her flirtatious ways, but she settled down in high school. College had been looming, and she needed to focus on grades rather than guys, so she became mousy. But there were moments, where that old flirty devil may care Reilly stood up for all to take notice of.
