The sun rose on a crisp fall day at the Oak Knoll Academy as the students prepared for the day and began heading to classes. Slowly rolling out of bed Lance stretched and ran a hand through his dirty blonde hair and pulled on a pair of jeans and a thin sweater. As he walked the short distance to school he smiled and his green eyes sparkled with mischief. Lance was in his senior year at the academy and today was when one of the most talked about student traditions would start this year.

Nobody was sure exactly when it started or who organized it but each year select students went on a treasure hunt of sorts. It typically consisted of a upper and underclassman of opposite genders being paired together and trying to complete as many different tasks as possible with some kind of evidence. The faculty knew what was going on but had never been able to stop it as it was rumored that several of them also participated.

Reilly was nervous. This was her first year of her nursing program at Oak Knoll College. Out of all the places she could afford to go, this one had the best program, but it was also the strangest. There were stories of a co-ed scavenger hunt that were legendary amongst other schools, and in the highschools.

She really hadn’t wanted to go to Oak Knoll at all, given its reputation, but no other school compared to its quality of nursing program. She'd known even as she filled out her application with the extra questionaire about her body, looks and personality, this might be a bad decision. But the promise of the best nursing degree she could get, out weighed her concerns. Besides, she always had been the adverterous one in her group of firends.

She twisted her freshly washed auburn hair into a tight bun. Then she dressed in a pair of black leggings and put on a long tunic sweater with a high thick belt. Slipping into her boots, she smiled at her reflection. She looked comfy, yet stylish, and set for the day. Grabbing her book bag she headed out to the Student building. Nervous and anxious she went to go see the post boards, where the partners would be listed for the scavenger hunt.

Lance felt rather excited as he arrived on campus and made his way to the student center. While curious as to who he'd be partnered with he was pretty sure they would be attractive. With Oak Knoll's top caliber teaching and nursing programs there were always a large number of young and pretty girls at the school. Greeting several people he knew as he got to the building he entered and saw there was already a bit of a crowd.

Grinning to himself Lance shook his head and decided to head up to the food court to get some coffee. He wanted to see who his partner was but figured there was little chance he'd know her as he knew only a handful of underclassmen. Also he hated large crowds and figured he would meet her soon enough. Smiling to the girl as he got his coffee he briefly wondered if she was going to part of the scavenger hunt.

Reilly smiled at the young man in the coffee line, letting him go ahead of her. She tested the lid on her cup as she paid the cashier and then headed to the boards. The crowd had dissipated some, since first class was about to begin.

She scanned over the sheets, easily picking up they were alphabetical by first name for the underclassmen. She found herself easily, Reilly Derringer, and looked to the right. She read the name a couple of times. She didn’t recognize it to begin with, the time under the name though said 3:45pm.

That was the time she needed to be at the BioSci building, classroom 204. 3:45pm and she would get to meet this mysterious boy, who would be her partner for the scavenger hunt, and where they would receive their first task. She turned from the boards, and saw the young man from the coffee line, hanging out just behind them, she smiled again, blushing slightly, before she rushed off to her first class.

Last thing she needed was to be distracted but a handsome face, she was after all here to study.

As he waited for the last few people to check the list and head off to class or wherever they were for the day Lance noticed the girl in the sweater with her hair in a bun. The same girl he saw in the coffee line that had let him in front of her. It wasn't really a surprise to see her here checking for her name but he was glad to see such a cute and attractive girl. He hoped his partner looked as good as her.

When she turned and saw him he noticed she blushed a bit as she smiled. Smiling in return as she hurried off Lance hoped he'd run into her again. Thoughts of the girl still on his mind he finally moved up toward the board and checked for his name. Finding it her read across...Lance Morgan...Reilly Derringer....3:45pm

Turning from the board he began to head to the education building for his first class. He didn't have anything scheduled for today after 1pm so he'd have time to try and find out about this girl and where she might be before meeting her.

Reilly went to her classes.

There were days where the intensity of things seemed so overwhelming that she wondered if she had made the right choice. If this was really what she wanted to do for the rest of her life. But then there were days, and today seemed to be one of them, where she just got everything. Days like today made her fairly happy, but then doubtful too, maybe she should have been more ambitious.

She glanced at the clock. One more lecture and then she would be off to meet her partner, Lance Morgan. She tried the name out in her mind. It sounded very regal and put together, almost as though he should be destined to be a lawyer or something great with that name.

She smiled as she gathered her things for the next class. If he was half as cute as the guy from the coffee shop, she’d not complain. Reilly headed off for her next class, it was half way between this one and where she needed to be at 3:45pm, which was perfect.

Hopefully if she was a bit early she’d get a sneak peak at her partner.

He went to his classes for the day and coasted through them. Nothing interesting was going on and he daydreamed most of the morning away, doodling little pictures of what he thought Reilly might look like. After his last class he got a small lunch and headed to the computer lab.

Getting onto the schools student listings he looked up Reilly Derringer. Like most of the students she had filled out at least the basics on her school profile. Seeing that she was a freshman and in the nursing program Lance figured he could find her around the other end of campus. That's where the BioSci building was and where many of the core nursing classes were held.

Seeing it was nearly three he logged off the computer and heading back to the student center food court. Getting another coffee he headed over toward the BioSci building to wait for his partner. Sitting on one of the benches scattered along the walkway and near the building he watched the students going by wondering if any of them were Reilly.

Reilly edged out of class first and headed towards the BioSci building. She smoothed a stray strand of hair that has escaped her bun back behind her ear as she made her way to the common area of the building. She was glancing around casually to find a place to sit, when her eyes landed on the young man she had seen earlier in the day from the coffee line.

He was sitting casually on a bench, watching the crowd of people walk by, looking as if he was searching for something. Reilly couldn’t help but feel a pang of jealously, she hoped whoever he was looking for appreciated his interest. She picked up a school newspaper, then made her way over to the bench he was sitting on. She smiled at him and gave a slight nod as she sat down on the opposite end of the bench from him.

She crossed her legs, and opened up the paper, glancing at the clock. She still had fifteen minutes before it was time to meet her partner. Scanning the front page of the article, she tried to remain aloof, though thoroughly aware of the cutie she was sharing the bench with. Reilly nearly jumped out of her skin when several minutes later, her phone reminder went off. As she dug through her bag to find the thing, she had to empty out some of the contents, which included her student ID. She placed it on a precarious perch, as she finally came up successfully with her phone. She smiled triumphantly, just in time to see her pile tumble and her ID flying towards the young man’s lap.

Smooth, Reilly. Smooth.

While sitting on the bench Lance saw quite a few girls going by and got a few looks, however none approached him while he finished his coffee. After awhile his mind began to wander and he was lost between daydreaming and planning a research paper that was due in a few weeks.

He was slightly surprised and brought back to reality as a girl came over and sat on the bench with him. Smiling back at her he was pleased to see it was the girl from that morning. Starting to pay attention to the passing students again he also sneaked a few peeks at her as she looked at the paper. "pretty cute" he thought to himself.

When her phone started going off he glanced over and gave a sympathetic smile as she started digging through her purse. However when her small pile suddenly tumbled onto his lap he grabbed at it instinctively to try and keep it from falling to the ground. "That was pretty close. You should be careful these benches are rather slick" he said as he looked down at what he was holding. Seeing her ID a smile spread across his face as he turned to her. "So you're Rielly" he said looking over at her.

Reilly flicked her eyes over him, and the grin on his face, like he knew something she didn’t. Well, obviously he did; her name. The way he said it though, as though there was some sort of expectation...oh...fantastic. Reilly rolled her eyes, as the realization set in.

You must be Lance,” she chuckled softly shaking her head. Leave it to the fates to make the cutie from the morning coffee line her scavenger hunt partner. She reached out for her ID, her fingertips lightly brushing against his palm as she took it from his hand. Reilly glanced at her phone.

“Nearly time. Shall we make our way to the class room and see what our first challenge is?” She asked as she stuffed the contents of her bag back into the folds, blushing a bit as she smiled at him.

Once they found out their task she hoped they could get to know one another, especially since they were to be partners for the year.

Watching her Lance saw her roll her eyes as she finally guessed who he was. "Yeah that's me" he acknowledged noting to himself her cute little laugh. Holding out her ID he smiled as her fingertips brushed over his hand as she took it back. He was kind of excited that his partner was going to be the girl from this morning.

As Reilly mentioned going to her class and getting their task he nodded his head. "Sure....might as well get started" he replied with a grin as she put everything back into her bag and smiled at him. Getting up and slinging his bag back onto his shoulder and smiled softly. "Lead the way partner" Lance said as he gestured for her to go ahead.

Reilly stood pulling her bag over her shoulder as she did so. She laughed as she shyly played with the piece of escaped hair that fell over her eyes. As she tucked it back behind her ear, she moved in front of Lance and headed toward the class. She could almost feel his gaze on her as she made her way down the hall to the room.

Reaching the door marked 204, she turned the handle and walked in. On the teaching desk, there was a pile of envelopes with names written in scroll writing on them. She found the envelope with their names and handed it to Lance. They left the room quickly, and just as they found it. Reilly turned to him.

“Go ahead open it, I have to admit I am a bit nervous and excited to find out what the first challenge is.” She smiled at him, appreciating his features as she did so. He really was handsome, and seemed fairly smart too. She was glad for that, looks were only part of the picture, she needed her friends to be capable of holding intelligent conversations, and she was truly hoping they would be friends.

He followed her to the classroom with a small smile curling the corner of his mouth up. As they walked Lance stayed a step or two behind her and his eyes admired her body. Getting to the class he followed her in and to the desk covered in a pile of envelopes. Taking the envelope as Reilly handed it to them he led them back out and down the hallway to check what it contained.

Grinning at her he toyed with the seal of the envelope. "You sure you want to go ahead with this?" he asked as he slowly ripped it open. "Too late now cutie" he chuckled reaching in. He pulled out a small, cheap prepaid cell phone and a piece of heavy paper with their first instructions written in calligraphy.

Welcome students to the annual treasure hunt. If you got this letter then you have met your partner for this event. Hopefully you find each other at least somewhat pleasing to the eyes and to be around.

Each team will begin with a rather tame challenge and escalate. It has been several years since a team has successfully completed all the tasks within the rules. Perhaps this is the year it happens again.

The rules are simple. 1. Complete the challenge without getting caught. 2. Obtain some proof of completion and submit it to the email in the phone. 3. Don't tell anyone else what you're doing. 4. Keep the cell phone, you'll get the rest of your tasks through it.

First challenge: Skinny dipping in school pool

After reading the letter he handed it to Reilly with a slightly pleased look on his face.

Reilly blushed as Lance called her cute. She smiled nervously as she watched him read the challenge. Then accepted the envelope from him with slightly trembling hands

Skinny dipping in the pool? She felt the heat in her cheeks deepen. Access to the pool wouldn’t be a problem. Gym access was granted to all students, but if you paid a premium, you had 24hr access to the facility. Given her schedule, Reilly had thought it would be worth it for her. If nothing else, not having to break into the pool was worth the extra money she’d shelled out for the extra access.

She stole a glance at Lance, his face was unreadable, aside from the slight smile on his face. She’d known this scavenger hunt was risqué, from the rumours she’d heard, but being in it now...that was something different. Especially given her partner, as attractive as he was. She bit at her lower lip, then looked up to meet Lance’s gaze.

“So, I have premium gym access, when do you want to do this challenge? The sooner the better right?” She asked him, hoping he had a clearer understanding of how this over all hunt worked. Was it the first to complete the challenges, was it the couple who completed the most?

Reilly sighed softly, she had always been a competitive sort, this game was feeding directly into that need, she could feel it.

He watched as she read through the letter and noticed the blush of her cheeks wondering if it was from the challenge or something else. Looking down at her Lance smiled softly at her question. "Sooner it is then. We want to do as many challenges as quick as we can." he said thinking about what they were to do.

"So you want to do it later tonight then when there's less chance of getting caught?" He knew from rumors that they wouldn't have this option for all their challenges and wanted to ease Reilly into the hunt. Many pairs failed in the hunt as one or both partners were uneasy with some of the more public and risky challenges. Not wanting to get caught they either took to long to do it or backed out. Lance didn't want that happening to them and planned on trying to keep her as comfortable as possible no matter what they ended up having to do.

As Reilly stood there biting her lip he noticed how attractive she was. Yes he had already called her cute and it was true but there was something about her face at that moment that made him want to wrap her in his arms and kiss her.

Shaking his head he grinned softly. "Well if you're not busy you want to meet for dinner or coffee before our little swim? It would be nice to know a little about you." His voice was playful as he asked her out not sure if he wanted to take her on a date or just talk more with her.

“Sure, it makes the most sense to go a soon as possible.” She said practically as they walked. “And I’d love to go for coffee beforehand.”

She smiled at Lance, her smile soft and kind. She knew if she thought to long about it she’d start to get paranoid. But she already had a plan in place of being commando under her jeans and sweater when they went out, so that it was a quick and easy dip and escape. She walked beside Lance for a while and then she touched his arm lightly.

“This is where I have to turn for my last class of the day. The Campus Starbucks at 8pm?” She raised her eyes to his and waited for his answer. Reilly turned to go and she tossed a subtle wink at Lance over her shoulder as she walked away, waving.

Her heart was racing, with plans. Once class was over she was heading straight home to get ready for the evening.

He smiled as she agreed to meet for coffee before the swim. Walking beside her Lance enjoyed the company as he thought of what would be happening tonight.

Feeling her touch on his arm he turned to face Reilly as she stopped. "Ok then. 8pm at Starbucks...it's a date" he said coyly noting the little wink she made while waving. He stood there watching her walk away for a few seconds before turning and heading back to his apartment. Having no more classes for the day he tried to focus working on a paper than was due soon but found himself think more and more of her as time passed.

Finally Lance gave up and went to take a shower and try to clear his mind.

Reilly nearly bolted out of class and to her room. She shed her clothes and stepped into the shower, glad that her floor was one of the few for underclassmen that had it’s own shower. She washed her hair and then too her time running the razor meticulously over her legs.

The last thing she wanted was to skinny dip, and be unkempt!

She did her arms, and trimmed herself, confident that she looked good. She stood in front of the mirror, and scrutinized as the steam wafted about her. She had shapely legs, firm and long, that ended at her waist with rounded hourglass hips. Everything tapered nicely in at her waist and then flared again for her chest.

She turned to the side looking.

Her boobs were definitely her best feature, she wrinkled her nose at her ass in disapproval, but then went back to her breasts. The perfect handful, they were a C cup and fit her body just right. Big enough to provide eye candy, and small enough she could go braless if she wanted for a short time.

She pulled on a loose long-sleeved shirt, and her jeans. Her nipples telling anyone who looked the obvious truth. She slipped into a pair of old flats, and her light windbreaker jacket. She was ready for anything tonight, anticipation and anxiety pulsing through her nerves.

Lance finished his shower and began to get dressed. Thinking similarly to Reilly without knowing he pulled on just a pair of jeans and a loose sweatshirt. He wanted as few clothes as possible so they could get in and out as quick as possible.

Checking the weather before he left it wasn't too cold out for the season so he slipped on his sandals and headed to meet his partner. On his way LAnce wondered if she'd really go through with the skinny dipping or if she did how much further would she go. Reilly seemed so sweet and almost wholly innocent to him he wasn't sure but he was glad to be meeting her either way.

Arriving at the coffee shop a little early he stood around outside waiting for her to arrive.

She took a short cut through some of the buildings to the coffee shop, popping outside just 300 paces from the front door. She saw Lance leaning against the corner of the shop, waiting for her. He was waiting for her. That thought made her heart race a little faster. She smiled brightly as he looked up to see her approaching.

“Hey,” she said softly, blushing as he held the door for her. She ordered at peppermint mocha, and turned to Lance, “and whatever he wants as well.” She placed her twenty on the table to pay for their drinks. She wondered how he’d take that, he kind of seemed like he might be old-fashioned, but she was more of a “my turn, your turn” person.

Picking at spot in the corner with two comfy looking chairs close together, Reilly sat down and waited for Lance to join her. She took a sip of her drink watching him over the rim of her cup.

He saw her coming and smiled at her. "Hey yourself" he chuckled noticing her blush as he held the door. Lance stood in line and ordered a decaf coffee feeling like he was already energetic enough.

When she paid he just smiled and thanked her. Usually he paid when out on a date or with friends as it was something he liked to do. However Reilly seemed to have her own way of doing things so he just went along with it.

Sitting in the chair next to her Lance looked at her and smiled. "So how were your classes?" he asked casually.

She set her cup down to rest just in her lap, her hand wrapped about it careful not to spill.

“They were good, uneventful which is really good. The afternoon ones are the easiest in the course load I have this semester.” She shrugged a bit as she smiled easily at him. “How bout you, how was your afternoon?”

She crossed her legs, as she leaned in closer to him, making their quiet corner seem more intimate than before. She was enjoying being in his company, he seemed so relaxed and laid back, yet there was something about him that wasn’t like all the other guys on campus she’d seen. She took another sip of her mocha. Cupping both her hands about it as she brought it to her mouth.

He nodded slightly at her answer never taking his eyes off her face. "That's good then, gave you time to relax after getting our...." he said letting his response drift off not wanting to talk to much in public about it.

"My afternoon was alright. Just worked on a paper and tried to relax" Lance answered before taking a sip of his coffee. He felt relaxed sitting here with her and didn't feel the need to try and force a conversation, it seemed more natural than most of his dates.

"So tell me a little about Reilly." he said leaning closer to her and smiling warmly.

Reilly laughed softly then tucked her hair back behind her ear before looking back at him.

“Well, Reilly is a small town girl, only child, parents were older when they had her. She’s always loved helping tend to sick things and people, so nursing was a pretty easy choice to go into especially since her folks are not getting any younger.”

She chuckled, as she took a sip of her drink.

“And I’m not used to speaking about myself in third person, but I ended up here at this school because of the quality of the nursing program here, though it’s kinda far from home. I grew up in the same house, all my life, my folks still live there, and I’m pretty adventurous sometimes.” She winked at him before taking another sip.

“What about you?”

As she told him a little about herself he saw her push her hair behind her ear and smiled at it. She looked cuter with her hair back from her face.

He grinned when she winked at him after saying she was adventurous sometimes. Well that would certainly be a good thing he thought taking another sip of coffee before setting it down and responding to her.

"Well I'm the youngest child and was raised by my aunt more than my parents. They traveled a lot for buisness and felt I wasn't old enough to go with them till I was a teen. She was a teacher and that's part of why I wanted to become one" he answered softly keeping as close to her as he could.
