The Neko Slave

“I know you want to go home.” He said, almost sadly, as he slowly scratched her behind the ears and ran fingers through her hair. “Believe it or not, I use to free slaves like you from captivity. I had many that didn’t want to leave. They were free to go home. And it’s because of me that you can’t go home, not right now and not for a long time. They found out that slaves were going to their homes, so they started watching them, and capturing them when they showed up, selling them for money. If I let you go, they’ll get you at your house. You’ll always be on the run, and if they catch you, a much more ruthless man will have you to do whatever he wishes to you. Do you understand?” He sighed. “You might not like it, but it’s for your own good. Don’t I treat you ok?”

Ariadne shook her head unhappily. She didn't want to believe him. He was supposed to be the cruel master who did whatever he wanted with her. She didn't think he would free any slaves. "Why were you at the auction, then?" she muttered. Her ear flicked as he scratched her head. She frowned, staring off into the distance. She couldn't believe him. If she believed him, she'd fall for him. She didn't want that to happen. She shook her head again. "I want to go home," she said stubbornly.

“You apparently don’t understand why I was at the auction if you don’t understand me.” He said, his voice a little low, almost irritable. “How else am I going to get a hold of slaves that would be mistreated, beaten, reduced to whippings and dominated, without going to the source?” His hand never left her head, and a tray floated into the room, with her cooked –and this time well seasoned- fish, and a large glass of milk. He held it as he came close, putting it to easily stay in their laps.

“You didn’t answer my question.” He said, his voice softening.”

Ariadne's ears flicked, and turned in irritation. Her tail thumped against the armrest, and she shook her head again. "I don't believe you," was all she said. She took the fish in her mouth, her fangs digging into the flesh, and climbed off his lap. She didn't want to talk to him. She scampered out of the room and down the hall. She ended up sitting in the kitchen, gnawing on the fish irritably. She didn't want to be stuck here. She didn't want to be his slave. It could all be a facade to get her to trust him. Besides, he'd said he'd get her a new collar, and he'd threatened to take off her dress, hadn't he?

She ate and got off of him, her words sounding like she wanted to scream. She ran out of the room with her food, and he simply picked up his book, opening it once more. His ears opened more to listen for her, seeing what she was doing, what she would say while she was away. But she would be back in here, and he lowered his head, going to reading his book once more to take his mind off of the stress it would be to get her to see the truth.

Ariadne finished her breakfast, but she really wanted the milk, which was still down with him. She bristled and went to the fridge, finding the jug of milk and pouring herself a fresh glass. She downed that, and placed the jug in the fridge and the cup in the sink. She trotted upstairs to her bedroom, curling up in her bed. The young Neko drew the covers over herself, shutting her eyes and screaming into the pillow. She wished her world made sense again. She just wanted to go back to her home. She would run if they tried to catch her. She'd done it before when she'd gone into town. She was faster than the humans. It was the vampires and werewolves who caught her.

She took a catnap, and then spent the rest of her day doing her best to avoid him. She curled up in various rooms of the house, running when she heard someone coming.

He didn’t bother chasing her down. He knew it was merely a time until she realized that she was free inside the house. Outside, a storm brewed, soon raining down hard, bolts of lightning coming down every few minutes. He would swear later that he wasn’t the one who summoned it.

While she was away for a long time, he decided now was a good time to sleep, eyes closing as he let his consciousness leave, tracking her around the house. She was skittish, running around the house at the slightest sound. But there wasn’t another in the large mansion besides him, and he didn’t leave the study. It was a few hours alter that his mind went back, waking up and going back to reading, waiting on her.

Ariadne ended up curling up in a pretty empty room, but a storm was brewing outside. She jumped at every flash of lightning and bolt of thunder. She whimpered and trembled. She hated storms, had for years. She fought with her pride for a while before she headed downstairs to his little room, curling up shyly on her chair. She could still hear the thunder, and her tail was puffed up. She was obviously rather startled by the storms. She watched him carefully, her tail flicking back and forth without her fur settling. "What're you gonna do with me?" she asked.

He looked up as he heard her voice. Huh, he didn’t notice her come in. She must have been extremely quiet to be able to make him ignore it. He closed the book and slid it into a crevice of the chair and cushion, crossing his arms. “Depends, do you want the answer of a master or of me?” He said, although he gave her no time to answer. “As a master, I say that I will do whatever I please of you. As myself, which is the one that matters, I say that I am going to take care of you until the day that you decide – and are able to – leave safely. Until then, I will probably take a few… ah… drinks, but other than that you give what you wish freely.”

Ariadne frowned and listened to him quietly, nodding. She ran a hand through her tangled hair. He wasn't what she expected. She would admit that. She still didn't want to believe him that he'd let her go someday. She sighed and draped herself over the chair. She watched him, supposing if he didn't want to go out to get a drink, he would just drink from her. She huffed and shut her eyes.

Her tail bristled as the thunder rumbled. She glanced up at him, biting her lip. "Is there something else I can wear?" She was still in the tight dress, and it was rather uncomfortable. She felt like she was bared to the world.

He smiled as she laid over the chair’s arms, huffing from her frustration. “You want something else to wear?” He asked, tilting his head slightly as she nipped her lip. “I figured it was something you liked. One of the wardrobes in your room has a large assortment of dresses, feel free to put one on. And then when you come downstairs, I’ll show you how a bite feels like, since it would make things easier, I believe.” He sat back in his chair. “But take your time and try a few on to find something you like.”

Ariadne nodded quietly, looking at him when he said he'd show her what a bite felt like. She bit her lip and headed upstairs, going to her bedroom. She found the wardrobe and threw it open, gazing at the dresses and fingering the material for a few minutes. She finally decided on a soft green dress, a bit thicker in material, that went down a little past her knees. She smoothed out the dress and went back down to the study, walking over to him. She was a little curious about the bite, she had to admit.

He turned when he watched her walking in, smiling as he put the book down once more, this time on the side table. “You look beautiful.” He said, patting his lap. “Come, sit here.” He waited for her to come over before he spoke. “The initial feeling will be a small sting. But… trust me, it is not a unpleasant sensation. At least, you won’t think so until I am done. Understand? If you do, bare your neck.”

Ariadne shyly came over and sat on his lap, blushing from his compliment. She grumbled quietly and shifted until she was comfortable, her tail twitching slightly. She nodded as she listened to his explanation. She wasn't sure what to think. She sighed and turned her neck so he could reach, moving her hair out of the way. She wondered how often he would drink from her. She shut her eyes and waited, her body tensed up.

She bared her neck, and he smiled, leaning forward and gently kissing along her vein, making it jump. If she asked afterward why, he would explain it then. But now he was too busy thinking of the blood pulsing… His fangs elongated, and he bit down, and he slowly drank, shallow, enjoying the exciting flavor of her.

She would feel the sharp – although brief – sting as he bit down, but then she would feel a feeling of euphoria flowing through her, which was quickly followed by warmth taking her body, in more ways than one. Hormones would rise, she would feel her need riding, wetness growing and a need for another body rising.

After a long minute he pulled away, fangs sliding out and his tongue flicking carefully over the bite marks, sealing them like they never happened.

Ariadne shut her eyes as his lips slid along her neck. Her artery there pulsed loudly with blood, and before long, his fangs sank into it. She jumped, feeling the sting, before she began to relax, smiling and looking straight ahead. She shut her eyes after a few moments, feeling a want, an urge to be with him, to have him fill her. She didn't even notice him sucking her blood until he pulled out again. She smiled and looked up at him, nodding quietly. She was breathing a little bit heavily. "Why did you kiss my neck?"

He smiled as she smiled, nodding with her. Although he laughed softly as she asked him the question that he knew was going to come. “I kissed it to put adrenaline in your blood, to make your heart pump faster.” He lowered his head again, tenderly kissing where he had bitten, nipping her neck lightly, playfully. He picked his head back up. “That was because I wanted to.” He said with a smile, looking into her eyes, a need of his own building inside him.

Ariadne nodded, and when he kissed her again, her heart fluttered. She was sure he heard it. The euphoria still coursed through her veins, making her breathe a little harder and desire to have someone. She shut her eyes and slightly leaned her head on his shoulder. She wished it would go away, but his very scent made it stronger. She shivered and looked up at him with her wide emerald eyes.

He could hear her heart beating a hard, fast rhythm against her chest, her pulse going faster than even his bite and teasing prior had done. He smiled as he looked into her eyes with his own, having that look of knowing in them. It was but a moment before he leaned forward, his forehead lightly against hers. “Do you see what I mean…?” He whispered, before kissing her, a light embrace as his arms held her warmly to his body.

Ariadne nodded quietly, letting him press his forehead to hers. Her eyes stared at his, and she smiled and shut her eyes. Why was she letting him do this? She shivered, her tail twitching, and turned her ears back and forth. She felt his lips press to hers, and she actually kissed him back. She opened her eyes when she pulled back. He held her close, and it felt good to be in his arms. She sighed and nodded.

"So what will we do today?" she asked. She didn't want to sit around and read every day.

She returned the kiss, and he couldn’t help but smile into it. She was learning, giving in and willing. And that she would do that touched his heart. His fingers slowly went through her hair as she asked her question.

“Well, I generally read, although… I have two things that I partake of during the night: Gardening, as well as science. I have a large patch of Moonglow. Very rare plant, selling it has made me very wealthy. Not to mention it is just breathtakingly beautiful to look at when it blooms.”

Ariadne nodded quietly, feeling his hand running through her hair. She smiled and shut her eyes, purring a little. She liked when people played with her hair. She stared up at him, thinking about what gardening with him would be like. She smiled and nuzzled up against him slightly. She shut her eyes and relaxed. Why was she enjoying this? She sighed. "What time is it?" There weren't really any windows, so she didn't really have a way to tell time.

He was glad that she was calm in his lap, even enjoying his hand as it went through her hair. Every so often it would stop, scratching at her ears lightly before going through her hair more. “The time? Ah… it is currently about an hour from sundown.” He said with a smile. “So not –too- long of a wait for you, I hope?”

Ariadne purred quietly and leaned her head toward him when he scratched behind her ears. Her sweet spots were her hair, her ears, and her back. She relaxed in his lap, shutting her eyes. She sighed quietly and shook her head. "I'm fine," she murmured. She squirmed slightly, still trying to get rid of the urge. She bristled a little and huffed irritably. She almost wanted to just stay right here curled up in his lap.

Her purring put him at ease, and also turned him on. She eased onto him, and his arms pulled her closer to his body, sliding a little to lay her partially against his chest. “Ok.” He said softly, trying not to squirm as she did. Her sounds and movement turned him on more than he wanted to admit, and if she kept it up, she would feel the stiffness that she was sitting on. But his hand kept diligent in petting her and scratching her ears, his other hand idly rubbing her lower back along her spine.
