Madeline tense up, for a moment, this was unusual for her. "Why are you doing this?" She asked for a moment feeling an awkward calm ans security in his embrace. Madeline had never been hugged like this by anyone but her family and occasionally William. She looked at Jim, he was attractive. "We must go then since there is so much you say we must do to travel." She added quickly with a kind yet urgent smile.

"i'm just trying to help you Madeline, right lets go" he led her to the car, trying to point out all of the things that he would normally take for granted, such as electric lighting, explaining the absence of wichcraft.

"Your time is odd." Madeline said noticing the strange looks she was receiving. She frowned d=for a moment looking at him. "I do not fit in here very well do I Jim?" She asked looking down at her dress. Everything had changed for her, but she was determined to make it work no matter what.
