Cats Graces(Chiffon and ShadowStalker)

Genna set her plate down and stretched. Her body seemed to crack as she reached for the sky. She turned to Nathanial as she curled up next to him again, gently tracing his skin. The musky sent of his body, making her ache with several different emotions.

She wanted to know everything about him, who he was, how he ended up wounded in the forest, where his family was, everything. So much so, she didn’t know where to start. She found his hand and took it in both of hers, gazing up into his golden hued eyes she softly licked her lips, moistening them before speaking.

“I want to know everything about you. I want to understand who and what you are. I trust you so completely, and I know you trust me. I want to learn about who you are Nathanial.” She met his eyes before leaning in and offering a tender kiss to his lips.

She knew by some magic they were now bound to each other, and that was more than fine, her body was perfectly happy with that arrangement. Her heart was too, but given she’d been on the verge of falling in love with him as a panther, now that he was human she needed the validation. She knew she had made a deep binding commitment to him, now she wanted answers and knowledge.

"There is so much to tell, I don't even know how to begin." He told her. Setting his plate aside he laid back across the bed with his arms crossed behind his head. "May I think on it and get back to you? Or is there anything more direct that you want to know? Maybe not so vauge?" He stretched his body then rolled to his side so to get a better angle to see her.

Genna laughed softly, it had been an absurdly vague question. She watched him roll on to his side, amazed at how feline the movement had been, graceful and erotic at the same time. She lay down to face him, her head propped up on her hand as she let her eyes roam his body.

Moistening her lips, she began telling him about her childhood. How she’d gown up in this house as a child, when it was so far out of town she’d hated it. How she had left for college without a backwards glance, then in her final year having to come home, and make some choices about the land and what was to be done with it.

She spoke softly of her brother, his wife and of Jaxson, who truly had won her heart when he was born. She spoke of life since returning here and making the house her own instead of her parents. And then she spoke of her, how she’d never really longed for anything, but how when she had found a wounded panther on the edge of death, she couldn’t just walk away. Her eyes met his, as she continued.

“I felt so thrilled seeing you come back. Sitting with you out on the deck, when you nuzzled into my body, I don’t know... I knew something was different, and I knew I was feeling emotions I shouldn’t have been, but,” Genna touched his arm softly as she moved in a bit closer to him.

“It felt right, intimate though someone would likely call me crazy for using that word with a panther in mind, but it felt that way, and then to see you as a man in my bed...I am so glad you are you.” She smiled softly at him, hoping she’d done a good job of describing her emotions.

She gently bit at her lower lip as she waited for him to say something.

"Well," he began. Nathanial filled Genna in on the history of his family as it was told to him. He told her of ancient magics and armies of half beasts. Then he told her of how those same armies had been hunted down and all but destroyed.

He then began to explain who he was and who his family was. How he was now the richest man in all of florida, being the only member of his family to survive the attack.

Genna listened to Nathanial talk, her heart breaking. She found his hand and pulled it to her chest, holding it tightly as he spoke, about the last battle that saw him wounded and left for dead. By the time he finished soft fat tears were rolling down her cheeks. He was so alone, and unable to tell anyone really about his true self. She felt so honoured for stumbling on to him, and for being there for him. She tipped his face to hers and kissed his lips softly, with compassion and tenderness. Breaking away she lightly touched his face.

“I wish I could make things easier for you, but you do have me now, your secret is safe with me.” She inched closer to him on the bed, her skin prickling with the heat he was giving off. She let go of his hand, letting it rest between her breasts, as her fingers lightly trailed over his side to his waist. She was in awe that she had been so lucky to have found him.

"You have no idea just how much you have done to help." He spoke softly, pulling her into him. He held her, a single tear escaping his hold. He knew Genna would not betrey him. He also knew the danger she was now in.

Between the heated passion and the emotional battle, Nathanial soon fell asleep. The rythmic purr of the cat soon following.

Genna soothed her lover as he slept, her fingers caressing him gently, never leaving his skin for long. The connection she felt when their skin touched was unbelievable. Letting her fingers leave him, even for a moment caused a deep longing ache in her chest. She sighed contentedly as she lay enveloped in his warm embrace.

It was the wee hours of the morning when a cold distant howl woke her from the sleep she had been in. She stiffened in the bed, listening as an answering one responded closer. Genna shivered, and moved to closer to Nathanial’s body, as yet another howl pierced the night air.

She flicked her eyes up, to see if the noise had woken him, only to find his eyes shining back at her, a slight shake of his head, telling her to be quiet as his fingers tightened on her hip.

Nathanial listened to the calls of the wolves back and forth. The searched the night, as of yet not finding their prey. He knew it was only a matter of time before this small piece of heaven would be tarnished with blood, and that was not acceptable. Tomorrow steps would have to be made to protect Genna. There have been time before when a single soldier has faught entire armies. Forbidden knowledge, that ensured his families survival more.than once. If only he knew what it was.

For know his prime concern was the woman shaking in fear next to him. Nathanial pulled her close, wrapping Genna in the heat and electric fire of his embrace. "Don't worry my love. They search, but don't find. The hunt is being called to an end." He placed a soft kiss upon her lips before continuing, "tomorrow I will begin steps to protect this house, and you." Nathanial let could feel the beast within him reach out and suround Genna, wrapping her in a warm protective blanket, willing her to be at ease.

Genna shifted back into Nathanial’s arms. She was confident in what he told her, but she couldn’t help but sense a bit of unease.

“They were the ones that nearly killed you aren’t they?” She whispered softly, remembering his broken and damaged body. She tilted his head to her looking into his eyes and seeing the glimmer of his panther behind them. The slight glimpse of his animal made her breath catch; partially from desire but partially from surprise.

She leaned in and kissed him softly, melting into the strong protective curve of his body, her fingers tracing his tight muscles teasing them into relaxing again. She held his gaze as her fingers wandered lower to his hip and then across the sensitive flesh of his lower groin to the heat that was radiating from his core. Genna smiled as she heard the moment her fingers collided with his hot flesh. Her panther. An evil gint sparkled in her eyes as she wondered how far she could tease and tempt him before he took what he wanted from her.
