Playing the Game [ Jaqueline x Chammy ]

This went on for a day. Then another. And another. It was after this third day that a woman approached, brokering no excuses from the lovely, bubbly Luneandra. The woman was older than some, younger than many; over her fortieth birthday but with a sly twinkle in her eyes that no one else seemed to notice. It was then that Sharess leaned in to gently whisper in Luna's long ear, an act made more intimate by the night they had shared together; "Perhaps it will not hurt to have her over for a visit. I can make moonmilk," she promised. Elven mead was delicious and hard to come by in these parts, so it was tempting just to get some of that honey-thick, honey-sweet beverage. "Besides. I will not leave your side."

Mmm. Those words were yummy, weren't they?

Every day Luna felt more despair. Shar continued to ignore her and kept her at a distance. by the third day all pretenses of happiness had vanished. Her smile was gone.

When the woman approached she was prepared to decline once again, but then she felt something. Shar's breath on her ear, a soft whisper, her mouth so close. Luna got shivers. This was different than the few words her bodyguard had given her the past three days. Luna immediately smiled and nodded. Facing the woman she declared, "We accept! Shall we meet in our chambers tonight?" She asked. The night could not come fast enough. She was positively giddy.
