First Day of College, First Day of Freedom, I Think (CLOSED)

RE: First Day of College, First Day of Freedom, I Think

he swallowed hard as he watched the other sewing his Dragon back together hesitating then sighing as he realized that it was going to be alright as he sat on his ruined bed. "...it was a gift." he admitted softly. "from a boy i knew as a child." he swallowed hard eyes focused on his hands. "he was my only friend." he admitted. "we lived out in the middle of nowhere. Briant was the son of a Gardner, we grew up together. we where best freinds, we did everything together." he admitted smiling. "when i was six he gave me that Dragon, and told me we where going to be together forever, and be married." he admitted swallowing hard. "he was..my first everything really. my first friend, my first boyfriend, my first kiss, my first fuck... my first...death..." he admitted softly. "we where...sixteen." he admitted softly. "when a man came, he said he was my uncle, we had been playing in the back yard... my sister was supposed to have been watching us but she got called away...i can't remember what for, she left and the man came and then...we where... in a place... it wasn't a house exactly it was more like a garbage pit." he admitted.

"there was trash every where, it stunk... for all my life i will never forget that stink..." he swallowed hard. "he throttled Briant really good.... he...didn't even have a chance to scream. he was just dead." he admitted simply shaking his head a little. "the man sent Briant back, and my parents had to pay a lot of money to get me back... i sat in that trash heap for... i think five days... and all i had was Blaize and the sound of Briant choking..." he shuddered a little and closed his eyes. "that's all i have left of a childhood that was taken away." he admitted blinking at the ruined Dragon, being pieced back together. "all i have left of a time before nightmares and insanity..." he sighed a little and shook his head before laying his head on his ruined pillow. "it's the only thing i still own, that i actually care about..."

RE: First Day of College, First Day of Freedom, I Think

Oliver only focused on the dragon, but listened to Cassius. "Well, now the OCD makes sense." he looked up and gave an apologetic smile. "He sounds like he was really close to you, I'm sorry to hear he's not still here with us. But at least you have this plush, and of course memories. Hopefully better ones than that of him." he held the dragon up and checked for any loose threads and his job on the neck. When he was satisfied with it, he got up and handed it back to Cassius "there, good as new." he said and started to pick up random things. "Now, to the next thing...who the hell did this?" he asked and picked up glasses pieces and shredded blankets. "I'm going to need so much fabric to fix this thing..." he tsked and shook his head "Might actually be cheaper to buy a new blanket." he said and shook his head. "I suppose we should report this to campus police. It's annoying because it looks like nothing was stolen..."

RE: First Day of College, First Day of Freedom, I Think

Cassius nodded and smiled a little. "he was close to me." he admitted. "for sixteen years... i loved him." Cassius admitted swallowing hard to hold back tears. tears wouldn't help anything, and it certainly wouldn't pick up the room. "thank you Cassius, for fixing Blaise." there was a pause. "you won't tell anyone? i... i've never told anyone else what happened...not even my parents or my sister..." he admitted as he started picking up the glass. "i don't want them to know the things that happened there, in that pit..." that nasty, smelly garbage pit. "i can replace everything in the room." Cassius finally said. "this is why i usually room alone. a lot of people don't like me after i've fucked them and they like to trash my room. and then there's the competitors from other schools trying to scare me, one or two people from the school board trying to scare me." he paused. "could be Him too, they never did find him." Cassius admitted dumping his handful of glass into the garbage before working on picking up some more. "whoever did it they where probably after me and you just got caught in the crossfire."

RE: First Day of College, First Day of Freedom, I Think

Oliver shrugged "I still think we should tell the police." he said and continued to clean things up. "I can get my own things, who knows eventually we might just be the two most sought after men in this school. We kinda live the same life style. Beat everyone in our paths at running, and fuck for a night then leave." he chuckled, trying to make the situation a little more light hearted. "Though, I agree, this time it seems they were after you, that poor dragon, he hasn't done anything to anyone." he shook his head. "It's like beating up a puppy." he sighed and folded his blanket, doing the math in his head.

RE: First Day of College, First Day of Freedom, I Think

he nodded, deciding not to press the issue as he gathered up his belongings, pausing then. "you know, now that i think of it, i think the school might replace all this as long as we report it now." he admitted scratching his head. "i think i might have to replace the locks though." he admitted standing up and wiggling the door handle, frowning suddenly. "that's strange...." he muttered... "the lock isn't broken..." his head tilted a little. "these are supposed to be pick proof so..." so had the person had a key? he still had his, he was certain Oliver had his... "i have a bad feeling about this..."

RE: First Day of College, First Day of Freedom, I Think

Oliver nodded "Perhaps." he said and checked to make sure nothing else was missing. "The lock isn't broken?" he thought about it and then cussed as he headed for his pants that he was wearing at the rave. "fuck." he frowned "my key is missing, he must have taken it while I was passed out." he said and looked over to Cassius. "or I've just misplaced it but I'm pretty sure, I left it in my pants from the rave." he sighed. "I should have noticed earlier." he shook his head "but I was with you, so I didn't really need it at any time." he mumbled more to himself.

RE: First Day of College, First Day of Freedom, I Think

he paused then. "well, the Rave, someone could have picked your pocket but i doubt it with the security that's supposed to be crawling around." he admitted biting his lip, scowling a little. "but why in the hell would he want to trash the room? we left on good terms, and considering he left you tied to the bed i'd say you two left on good terms too." he admitted scratching his head. "well, you go file a report and i'll take pictures of the damage." he decided shaking his head. "it's better to have proof of all of this. just in case."

RE: First Day of College, First Day of Freedom, I Think

Oliver nodded and pulled a shirt on before running off to report what had happen and get a new key. He explained what happened, for the most part. No need to tell them what happened just before, or little details about what had happened when they noticed. The office nodded and told him they would get right to it and gave him a new key. He smiled and headed off to do a few other things they they told him that he needed to do, such as talk to someone about changing the locks and where to go to get refunded on the items that they were going to have trouble replacing.

RE: First Day of College, First Day of Freedom, I Think

Cassius went all OCD over the picture taking, labeling each one and making a list of what he himself knew had been damaged, not that he would make the school pay for it, he could afford it on his own. but the lack of locks bothered him, he didn't like that people could come into his room and make everything so filthy, which set him off an another OCD rave and set him to cleaning everything, which was what he was doing when Oliver came back, he;s stripped his bed of the mattress, which had been slashed beyond repair, and was working on getting a new one sanitized with disinfectant and Lysol, everything on his side of the room smelled like disinfectant and Lysol actually. and most of the surfaces where wet, though he had been kind and left Oliver's side alone. "so, what did they say?" Cassius asked blinking at him. "i had them bring you a new mattress too, the ones we had where too damaged to save." he admitted going back to wiping his mattress off with a wet rag.

RE: First Day of College, First Day of Freedom, I Think

Oliver nearly ran out of the room when he got back in, coughing on the smell of Lysol. "god damn...will you stop with the Lysol, geez." he said and slowly made his way back into the room. "It didn't cost anything did it?" he said "they said it shouldn't, that they would replace the school owned things and a few of our blankets. The glass is as good as gone, they won't replace that. The guy should be up in the next day or two to replace the locks and keys. They gave me a spare key until then." he said and showed the other his key. "Other than that, we are basically on our own." he shook his head and checked his side of the room, noticing Cassius didn't touch his side. "Thanks...I don't think I would be able to breath in here for days if you got my side of the room." he chuckled a bit and shook his head again.

RE: First Day of College, First Day of Freedom, I Think

Cassius shook his head. "sorry... i just... someone TOUCHED everything and people have DISEASE on their hands and i just...>" he sighed and dropped the rag on the floor and picked the mattress up, sliding it into place. "nope, not a penny." he admitted shaking his head as he pulled out some new sheets, straight from the package and pulled them onto the bed. "i tossed out all the food though." he admitted with a viscous wince."and the fridge..." he glanced at the other, his nose wrinkled. "someone pissed in it....." he admitted with a shudder. "i'll have to buy a new one..." he complained wiping his hands off on his pants. "besides i don't touch other peoples things without permission, it's really very rude." he seamed, twitchy all of a sudden. probably the fact that only god knew who had been in his room touching his things....

RE: First Day of College, First Day of Freedom, I Think

Oliver nodded "Are...you going to be ok?" he asked. "I can get this stuff done if you want, I'll make sure everything is spotless." he said with a soft smile. he started to put his side of the room back together, smiling at the picture of his family that managed to stay safe, somehow. He checked to make sure his books were safe and didn't really care about much else. "By the way, feel free to touch whatever is on my side, I don't really care. Just as long as you return it, if you take anything." he said and got to work.

RE: First Day of College, First Day of Freedom, I Think

he shook his head. "i am NOT ok!" he complained. "someone PISSED, in my room!" he complained. "i don't know who! they touched my things! they...they DEFILED my dragon!" he sighed a little and closed his eyes. "and they could come in at any time and do it again." he muttered softly, picking up the dragon and holding him close. "and next time you might not be able to fix him..." he admitted softly. "next time, they might do worse to the room, or even go after me, or you..." he shuddered. "they pissed in my refrigerator Oliver...."

RE: First Day of College, First Day of Freedom, I Think

Oliver sighed a bit and moved over to him, hesitantly touching his shoulder. "It'll all be ok in a few days, I'll watch my key better next time." he said and smiled a bit. "How about we go for a jog, or a run, or something? hmm? Get your mind off of it." he said and grabbed his hand. "Come on, Cassius, let's just try and forget this whole thing happened." he tried to encourage the other to follow him towards the track, "maybe you can show me the cross country trails, hmm?" he asked.

RE: First Day of College, First Day of Freedom, I Think

Cassius grimaced a little but abandoned his Dragon, stashing the thing under the bed so no one would see it, and allowed himself to be led down the hall. "yeah... Cross country." Cassius agreed biting his lip as he glanced at the other. "you must think me completely insane huh?" he asked sighing a little. "i'm sorry... i...get like that sometimes..." he admitted softly. "Richard says it's a coping mechanism...the cleaning i mean..." he muttered stripping off his shirt so it wouldn't get sweaty. "three mile or five mile trail?" he asked Oliver, running a hand through his hair his head tilted at the other as he headed to the other side of the track, where a one mile, three mile, five mile, and seven mile marker system was set up to travel through the woods.

RE: First Day of College, First Day of Freedom, I Think

"three." he said and pulled his shirt off as well "and I thought you were crazy the first time I met you, much hasn't changed, if anything I understand it a little bit better." he said and followed the other, he noticed the marker systems and started to jog down the 3 mile one. He looked back to make sure the other was following him and when he had confirmed this he started to let his mind wander. It wandered to random thoughts, who could have the key, if that kid he saw while they were having sex would tell anyone, if Cassius him were going to go at it again sometime. Oliver shook the last thought out of his head, because it started to bring up feelings, not bad or good ones, at least not yet, but just feelings and he promised that he wouldn't bring those into the relationship.

RE: First Day of College, First Day of Freedom, I Think

he rolled his eyes a little. "well, it's not like it's untrue i suppose." he too fell silent as they ran, simply enjoying the slow and relaxed jog, wondering about many things himself. wondering if Oliver would say anything about Cassius's past, wondering if the person would come back and trash his room, wondering if he couldn't talk the coach into starting practice early,...wondering if he wasn't starting to feel something for Oliver, even after he's asked for no emotions. he sighed a little and shook his head, wondering if he could talk Ollie into another round of sex before bed, maybe after dinner when he wasn't quite so hungry. "thank you." he stated suddenly. "no one's tried to snap me out of.." he paused. "i don't know what to call it...panic attack i guess. usually people just leave me to it." he smiled at Oliver. "want to get dinner after this? my treat, as thanks for saving Blaize."

RE: First Day of College, First Day of Freedom, I Think

Oliver nodded as he continued to run "well, it doesn't help to just sit there and freak out." he said and shrugged. "I guess I'm hungry, and I'll let you do it for that." he said and chuckled. "But don't expect me to keep accepting offers like that." he said and moved a little faster. "Make sure it's nothing expensive alright?" he asked. "That plush, even though worth a lot in memories, is not worth much in money value." he said and jumped over a branch that was in the way. "Do they keep it like this, or will it be clear during the season?" he asked.

RE: First Day of College, First Day of Freedom, I Think

he snorted a little. "i only buy in quantity."' he stated simply. "i was thinking of going to the all you can eat Buffet down on Crescent street." he admitted. "it's pretty cheep there, like, ten dollars if your a collage student." he admitted pondering. "they have the most amazing food there, their usually expensive but with your collage ID Card they only charge ten bucks." he licked his lips. "they have the most amazing pork ribs there. and wonderful spaghetti, i love spaghetti." he admitted hopping over a small trickle of water. "during the off season no one takes care of it. it's the cross countries job to keep up maintenance." he admitted scowling. "which is a total piece of shit." he admitted shaking his head. "don't expect the damn FOOTBALL team to maintain their football field!....biased bastards."

RE: First Day of College, First Day of Freedom, I Think

Oliver sighed "great, so I'll just have to come out here soon and pick up the shit." he said and shook his head as he turned a corner. "That sounds like a good place to eat." he said and nodded. "I'd be willing to eat there." he said and jumped over another few branches and cussed at them. He shook his head and started to run a little faster, his eyes dead on the trail.

RE: First Day of College, First Day of Freedom, I Think

Cassius chuckled a little and nodded as he ran, jogging along with a soft humming tone under his breath. a classical song if there ever was one, it was no wonder he hated Rave music, well claimed to hate rave music anyway. "hey Ol." he stated suddenly, giving the other a slip of the tongue nickname. "i was wondering... you know my family, met my sister, met my parents..." he looked at the other. "you know that i'm insane and know my traumatic past... but i don't really know anything about you..." he admitted blinking at the other. "i don't even know why you came to collage..."

RE: First Day of College, First Day of Freedom, I Think

Oliver had his eyes still on the trail "Well...I want to be a p.e. teacher, for high school students. Um, I have a mom and a dad and a little sister. They don't know I'm gay, and if they ever found out...it's a guarantee that I'll be having a traumatic past." He jumped over a few more branches and kept going "I have never really worked other than with sewing kits and crocheting, mostly because of my sister, because she likes teddy bears and they have to be crocheted. I used to be a thief, mostly just picking pockets, I was really good at it too, never got caught." he glanced back quickly before his eyes were on the track again "I became very sexual my freshman year of high school. I would sleep with any guy that came my way, I didn't care. I also have a lot of toys myself, they are under my bed in a red bag. I don't really know what I am, but I guess I'm gay. I mean, I've never slept with a girl, but then again a girl has never asked."

RE: First Day of College, First Day of Freedom, I Think

Cassius listened with his head tilted, leaping over the branches and debris, finding he rather liked the hurdling act. it was almost like practicing for the hurdles. "i always knew i was gay,." he admitted "my sister was pretty damn sure i was anyway and as i grew up i realized she was right." he admitted with a small laugh. "my parents where always very accepting, even when Briant.."' he swallowed hard. "even when i got into wearing dresses for a while." he admitted shaking his head. "i still have a few." he admitted looking amused. "for the rare time that i feel like bottoming." he smirked a little. "very rare." he glanced at the other. "if you want to be sure you could always ask my sister, she enjoys trying to seduce gay men."

RE: First Day of College, First Day of Freedom, I Think

"No offense, but she's not my type...I think, I just don't find her attractive" he said and stopped when he saw the track again. "Damn, I'm gonna need another shower. I guess I'll take it in the morning." he shrugged and started to walk over to the track finding his shirt and pulling it on. "So, where is this dinner place of yours? I'm hungry." he said and leaned onto the fence. "It better not be over 10 bucks." he said, sending a warning glance at the other.

RE: First Day of College, First Day of Freedom, I Think

he snorted a little. "it's the purple hair isn't it?" he asked smirking a little shaking his head a little. "don't worry it's not her natural color." he teased looking much more relaxed now that he had gotten done with a run. running always calmed him down, relaxed him, made him feel better. "that's the way it was last year." he explained shrugging a little. "why do you do that anyway? get so uptight about money." he asked curiously. "i mean, it's just money you know? i have a shitload and it's not really all that important." he admitted stretching his arms with a small groan. "if it's a pride thing then i'm going to beat the shit out of you." he teased running a hand through his hair. "there's no room for Pride in collage, not if your going to starve to death."
