They walked around the deck and then back to their cabin. Robert was pretty sure Liz was still having a bit of trouble. She looked uncomfortable and a bit tired. "Maybe we should lay down for a while?" he suggested. He gave her a sly smile, that usually resulted in her wrapping herself around him. Robert was surprised as he took off his boots and laid on the bed, and Liz just laid on his chest and closed her eyes. Robert was a little worried, but he wrapped his arm around her and let her sleep. About six hours later he woke to the sound of vomiting, he looked over to see Liz hunched over the bath basin. He got up and held her head. she had been at it a while and was weak as a kitten. when she finally stopped, he wiped her face with a damp towel and carried her over to the bed. She was still dressed so he carefully helped her out of her clothes and into a nightgown. He laid her in the bed and pulled the covers up around her chin. He kissed her on the forehead, and said I'm going for the doctor. Liz was not herself, and this was not sea sickness he was convinced of it.
Robert returned with Doctor Bailey a few minutes later.
