Covert Ops Story...
Okay, so I've had this idea for a long time, though I've never really done anything with it. The story centers around a covert ops unit of some sort, details can be fleshed out, but the basics are as follows.
The group is stuck in what could be considered hostile territory. It's a mixed gender team, which I know isn't quite realistic, but it's a story, and it needs to be like this to work. Having only each other to rely on because of communications being cut with their superiors, they end up spending a lot of time in close quarters together. This naturally creates a huge amount of sexual tension.
There will also be other elements to the story, though, such as having to infiltrate enemy groups, which will require some violence, some subterfuge, and some seduction, maybe even beyond normal limits. They do what they have to in order to survive and ultimately get out of this place and back home.
While they are on the run, in hiding, and such, the team members might start to notice certain qualities about each other they hadn't previously, as well, developing attractions to each other. I am not aiming for romance, here, people, but simply a group of folks, very human, with very human needs and the simple realization that they can turn to each other to fulfill those needs. Some of them might be in relationships back home, but it's obviously not helping them out here. It would be more about physical needs than anything.
This story would include its share of violence, including but not limited to guns, explosives, blades, shootings, blowing shit up, stabbing, strangling, and probably severing of limbs...though this would probably be limited to the bad guys unless I end up with a group a total masochists for this. ^_^ Killing bad guys (or girls) while having sex with them is fully permitted, and even encouraged.
My goal for this is about 5 to 10 players, give or take one or two depending on interest. There will be certain positions in a team that will need to be filled, and will be listed below.
- Point Man (The team leader. Jack of all trades, master of none except infiltration. Sets the pace for the team. Taken by me for purposes of plot and such.)
- Munitions Expert (The one who they could search for an hour and still not find all the hidden guns. Taken by Broomhandle45)
- Demolitions Expert (The one who blows shit up. 'Nuff said. Taken by Karameida Yamada)
- Tech Specialist (The hacker who gets them into places they shouldn't be and deftly erases all the porn from the bad guys' hard drives. Taken by Bloodlust_Beauty)
- Sniper (The one with the big fuckin' gun that decides who lives and who dies from a distance. Often nicknamed "God". Taken by As_Day_Fades)
- Hand-to-Hand Expert (Pretty self-explanatory. The one who pummels seven shades of shit out of someone. Taken by Futz)
- Field Medic (The one who treats their wounds and cures other...ailments. >.> Taken by Beautiful Disgrace)
- Scout (The sneaky little shit who, well, scouts ahead. Prefers guerrilla tactics, hit and run, killing shit from the shadows, etc. Taken by The Succubus)
- Infantry (This person isn't really a specialist like the others, but is just a badass all around fighter who is reliable and there when needed. Taken by Monsterberry)
Other roles can probably be invented, as well as it's possible to play without all these roles being filled, so this isn't set in stone. There are already those who have expressed an interest in working on a story like this with me, so I expect them to be the first ones to post here.
Also, this story will not be all about one person, so glory hounds need not apply. We all write and share in this equally, and aside from a few main baddies that I will control, we all have a measure of creative liberties with the enemy and controlling them. It just makes the story more fun. This is not going to involve dice-rolling or any sort of system, though creative writing will get you a lot more positive reactions when I'm controlling the baddies. If you can make me believe it, then I'll probably let you succeed at it.
