Revenge Through Hell (Lord Dakol and Swirl)

Standing up from where she sat on the ground, she followed the demon into the cave. "Come on." She told him when she looked back "Or do you want those other demons to come along and take you?" Rolling her eyes she turned and headed into the cave, her wings folding gently against her back as she walked.

Ah, he forgot about those things. Grimacing slightly, Josiah followed the two into the cave, pushing up his glasses with the tip of his middle finger, observing the place inside, staying quiet for now as he watched Monte and Kalix.

The cave was moderately decorated. A large plush rug sat in the middle of the room, while a table, was moved off for a dining area. A large wardrobe also sat to one corner while the cave seemed to disappear into a hall way where other rooms could be seen. Some interesting and never seen before photos were hanging on the wall and the lighting in the cave was, to say the least unexpected. There was no lights hanging from the ceiling but never the less it was like there was. A large living room took up most of the room, where Kalix was already making herself comfortable on the couch.

Monte stood in the kitchen area, stirring something around in a pot before coming back to sit down on a lounge chair. Looking between the two of them. "So this is the human you decided to drag back here." He finally spoke looking at Kalix who smiled back at him "Yeah though I don't think he's to happy about it." Tilting her head she glanced back over at the human.

(aaaand I have to go to work talk to you later!)

This was . . . normal, to say the least, except for the "invisible light" and the rock walls, of course. Josiah was slight caught off-guard, and looked at Monte as he went to the kitchen. As he sat down, the young man opted to stand, leaning against the wall as his fingers tapped his forearms.

"Ya think?" Josiah replied, his eyes narrowing and his voice flat. "Is anyone going to explain what the hell is going on here?"

The two stopped talking when they heard the human's voice. Both sets of eyes looked at him before looking back at each other.

"I thought we figured that part out already." Kalix replied to him with a frown on her face. Turning back around she looked over at Monte again who was staring at her with his own blank look. "Why don't you go get us some apples." He told her.

Kalix stared at him for a long moment before scowling, pulling herself up to her feet she looked at Josiah "Stay." she told him. Her wings opened up and diving off the cliff outside the cave she headed out.

"That will keep her busy for a while." Monte replied leaning back in his chair. "Come, your welcome to sit and speak with me if you wish."

As Kalix left, Josiah studied Monte briefly before nodding. He walked over to the couch, sitting down and leaning forward, folding his hand together.

"Why am I here?" he asked somewhat impatiently, quirking an eyebrow. "I mean, my life was absolutely great, and some demoness finds me interesting and take me away. Really?"

Monte sat there, ever still and watching the boy move towards the couch and sit down. Studying the way he sat, and the way he folded his fingers. As if he were examining him for something but blinked slowly when he started to speak.

"If you are here then there is a reason for it." Monte replied "She may not know why she does things but she always does things for a reason." He said setting his own hands into his lap and leaning back more into his chair. "It might take a while but the reason will become apparent soon enough." Shifting his weight a little bit he went back to studying him for several minutes before speaking again. "Do you hate her for what you did?"

"Do you know why I'm here, then?" Josiah countered, but was a bit stunned by the question of whether he resented her or not. For a second, he actually hesitated.

"I, uh..." he faltered, then regained his strength and looked into Monte's eyes, "Of course. It's a ridiculous question." but was he so sure of his words?

"I do not know why you are here, but there is a reason for it." He told him, his hands placed back together at the fingertips, while his eyes settled on the boys face infront of him.

"How can you not know weither you hate her or not?" He asked

Grah, I'm getting tired of this! Josiah thought viciously as Monte answered him. "I would like to know this damn reason, then. Where the hell is the guy who runs this place?" he inquired impatiently.

"It . . . She . . . I hate her, all right?" he muttered, crossing his arms and leaning back.

The demon stared at him for a long time before placing his finger tips together again. "Well I would like to be the guy who runs this place." he inquired "but I cannot do it on my own power." His eyes remained on Josiah's face quietly his eyes searching for anything that might help him get his way.

The silence was killing him; Monte stared at Josiah for the longest time before speaking, his words a mixture of greed and intelligence. Josiah crossed his arms. "All right. And? Why are you telling me this?" he asked. He was getting more and more impatient that things were being kept from him; he couldn't wait until it was the other way around, when he knew enough to survive on his own.

Placing his hands back on the table, the demon slid the chair out from under him and stood up. Turning around he ignored the human for a second and went to a cupboard that sat against, one wall of the cave. Looking through it silently he finally found what he was looking for and pulled it out.

A gigantic book, with swirls and engraved pictures rested on the two covers. The covers were a dark plum colour and glimmered when the light hit it at an angle. The spine was cracked as if it had been opened far to many times, lettering of an unknown origin consisted on the side.

Walking back to the table, the demon set it down and opened it to a page that he knew all to well. He had read it a thousand times, stared at it trying to decipher what it's meaning was. "I didn't realize what this book meant until I laid eyes on you." he inquired. "Not many people can handle the eyes of hell.

Running his finger down the pages, he motioned to some unfamiliar words and pictures. "Humans, demons, I believe that you are the person that this book talks about, that helps take down the ruler of this place." he said turning his eyes back onto the man again. "And the guardian is the demon that brought you here to help you along the way."

Josiah's eyes carefully watched as Monte retrieved a large, dusty book from the shelves. He scanned the spine and the leather coverings, attempting to gleam any information from it. But he couldn't. Unfortunately, he missed the class on Demonic Symbolism.

He sighed, getting ready to ask another question. Josiah was really off his game today. "Eyes of hell? I thought there were a lot more people that were brought down here," he said, folding his hands as he looked at the pages, still attempting to decipher them, but couldn't.

His eyes shot to Monte in surprise, and a bit of outrage. "WHAT?! How do you expect me to take down the ruler of Hell; I'm only a guy that a demoness took a fancy to!" he exclaimed, groaning in irritation.

"Because you are the only male that this particular demon has brought here." He told him. All the others have been children or females." Sitting back down in his chair he looked down over his book that laid out in front of him. "I don't know why but as soon as I know you will be the first to know."

"I'm back!" The demoness called, flying back into the cave clutching the plants in her hands. Landing on the ground she walked over to the two men and glanced between them. "What?" she asked

Josiah didn't particularly believe Monte - he was a demon, after all -, but decided to say nothing as he leaned back, crossing his arms as Kalix came back, flying into the cavern with the plants and apples in her arms.

He rolled his eyes, sighing as he pushed his glasses up his nose as he calmed himself down. Once he was done with this, he settled his gaze on Kalix. He couldn't help but trail his eyes over her quite-luscious form. Josiah wasn't stupid; she was incredibly beautiful, and wondered how good of a fuck she was. His slowly-growing arousal, combined with his anger, made a volatile fusion. He didn't realize that a certain aura began to leak out from his body, resembling that of a demon . . . or one that could control a demon.

Monte turned his gaze over to his human guest. "Kalix I believe our visit is done here, would you please escort your new friend home?" He asked as he took the apples from the younger demon and headed into the back of the cave with them.

A look of displeasure came across the woman's face, but she did as she was told. Turning around she looked at the human sitting at the table "Well come on then." she grumbled heading for the cave entrance again.
