August felt her heart melt as he called her baby, the name combined with the look in his eyes, turned her insides to jello. She softly chuckled as Jason slipped his arms about her.
"As long as you aren't planning some kind of mass murder," she teased before kissing him back. She was glad it was nothing serious, leave it to their conservative family to have a fit about something so minor. It wans't like he had younger brothers or sisters to worry about finding such things. She broke away and looked at him.
"You know, if you want, I have a weekend coming up where I am off, I think it's the weekend after next, so after your first week of classes, if you want," she paused. "We can road trip it, and go pick up your collection, so you have it here, rather than offend your parents sensibilities and leave it there?" She looked into his eyes, wondering if that would make him happy. "We can go Saturday morning, we would get there about 3? You can see your mom, maybe some of your friends, we can spend the night, and then come home on Sunday, be ready for work and school Monday morning?"
She gently squeezed him, as she lay her head on his shoulder, waiting for a response, her lips softly kissing at his neck. She knew from her Aunt in the conversations they had had before Jason moved here that Saturdays, his friends typically had parties going on. Going on a quick visit would give him a chance to not only see some people, but to attend one last bash before he had to buckle into his studies.
