Everlasting Innocence

"You're not useless." Caelin smiled. He stood and let his brother wash him thoroughly. He held back a snicker when Keanu got his backside. He was very ticklish.

A blush crept over the boy's cheeks when he was handled in such a way. His groin felt tingly now. However, Caelin couldn't hold it in when he felt Keanu's fingers linger at the tip of his penis. The boy squeezed his slender thighs together and squealed loudly.

"Stop it Keanu that tickles! Eeeee!" Caelin giggled.

He watched with growing interest as well as amusement as Caelin blushed and squirmed violently. He had hoped for a slightly different response but that would do for now. He just wanted his little 'lover' boy to get used to his big bro' touching him in this way.

He let go of his penis and pulled Caelin into his arms, kissing his neck and face quickly and repeatedly. He grabbed a towel and dried the small boy off, in love with the sounds that he made.

Keanu pulled Caelin's bed clothes on him and carried him into his own room, throwing him on the bed with a roar before jumping on him, tickling his sides, laughing the entire time.

Caelin screamed and giggled as Keanu threw him down and tickled him mercilessly. "No no, help me!" the boy laughed. His small legs wrapped around his brother's waist.

He squirmed, their groins accidently clashing. His wet hair stuck to his pretty face. Caelin loved his bedclothes; small cotton shorts and nothing else..

"Uhhhh no!" the boy goaned fakely, throwing his head around.

He laughed loudly as he tickled the small boy, his fingers brushing his sides mercilessly. He inhaled sharply when their groins were pressed together firmly, the feeling was so wonderful yet wrong at the same time. He shouldn't be feeling this way towards his brother, yet a part of him was strangely attracted to him.

It didn't help that neither of them were wearing hardly any clothes either, they could've worn nothing and he would've gotten a similar response.

At that moment their father walked by and peeked his head into the room "you two need to be quiet! The entire village can hear you two children screaming!" He scolded them, walking away to go and make love to his wife, whether she wanted to or not.

Keanu smirked as he walked away "'you need to be quiet!'" He mocked, in a much deeper voice than his own, though he did so quietly, laughing as soon as he stopped talking like that.

"Keanu's not a child!" Caelin shouted back, crossing his arms. "I'm a little boy." he giggled, then making his voice deeper. "And you're a big boy."

He squealed and rolled on top of Keanu, his small body hardly heavy at all. Caelin leaned down like he were going to kiss his brother's cheek, then went for the lips. It was quick and sloppy.

"Ahahaaa!" he giggled. "I made you embarrassed agaaain! I wanna show Father!"

Keanu laughed along with his brother, watching as he leaned in and kissed him, opening his mouth and closing it again "I'm gonna get you you little monster" he growled playfully, grabbing him around the middle and throwing him over his shoulder.

"You will tell Father absolutely nothing. He would punish you for that" he said seriously. He climbed into the bed and yawned "come on, it's time to go to bed" he said and laid down beside Caelin, closing his eyes.

Caelin's laughing subsided, and he leaned over to blow out the bedside candle. "Oh.." he said quietly, sitting there for a moment before crossing his arms.

The boy laid down, his body still warm from the bath, and pulled the sheet up over him. He fell asleep trying to think of new ways to play with Keanu. Maybe he liked being tickled where he had tickled Caelin in the bath? That would be funny.

He mumbled gently throughout the night, snuggling against Keanu for while, then twisting around to a different place. Morning came with Caelin tackling Keanu.

"Wake up already!"

Keanu slept soundly through the night, hearing and feeling nothing even as Caelin wiggled around in the bed. He groaned when tackled by the small boy and covered his head with his pillow "no, I haven't slept in two days Caelin" he said, yawning halfway through the statement.

However tired he was he still got up and stretched, rubbing his eyes to try and get them to open a little more, glancing at the boy who seemed like he had been awake for hours. "Do you not know how to sleep in?" he asked him, just being grumpy like he always was in the morning.

After the bath he had slightly expected questions or Caelin touching him the same way, knowing a very awkward moment would have to come up soon when his body reacted much differently than the young elf's.

"Don't you know how to sleep in?" Caelin mocked in a grumpy voice, blowing a wet raspberry at his brother before rolling off the bed. He pulled on his light green tunic that matched his eyes and his small tan boots. "Well I'm hungry."

The boy skipped happily to the kitchen, pulling a splendidly carved wooden chair up to the counter and climbing on. "Everyone come eat something!" he called through the house, reaching for the bread.

Keanu flailed at the berry spit at him, managing to completely miss the fruit and get hit in the face. He rolled his eyes and watched him get dressed "well maybe you should go get some food and leave sleeping people alone!" He countered, laying back down and falling asleep.

Father walked into the kitchen and slapped the young boys hand "you do not serve yourself until everyone is present" he said in a gruff voice.

Caelin was just about to grab the bread when he felt Father smack his hand. He turned around, almost as tall as Father when on the chair. The boy frowned and crossed his arms.

"You didn't need to do that, I was gonna wait 'till everyone got here! Didn't you hear me call you?"

Caelin's lip stuck out just a little as he argued. He enjoyed being this level with Father.

(Your boy is asking for a beating and that's what he's gonna get ; ) )

The Elven man looked almost speechless as he listened to his youngest son. He smacked him open handed, sending him sprawling across the floor. He had knocked him so hard that he could have broken a bone but that he didn't know.

He wouldn't have his children speaking out against him, and he knew why Caelin had grown defiant. It was because of Keanu. Keanu, at that time, heard the thud and jumped out of his bed, wearing practically nothing and ran out, seeing Caelin laying on the floor with their father standing over him.

"What the fuck is your problem?" He yelled, never having said a curse around Caelin before. The older elf simply looked at him and growled "get out of my house."
"Gladly" he replied venemously and went to pack his things. He pulled on traveling clothes and his thicker soled shoes, walking out of the house with his bag slung over his back.

He went straight to his tree, it being a perfect place to protect him from the elements until he found a place where he could get money and provide for himself. Assuming Caelin would know where he had gone he didn't say anything to him, not wanting to get him into any more trouble than he already was.

Caelin didn't know what hit him, or why. His back hit the floor, then his head. His eyes swam. He tasted blood.

There was a sharp pain his wrist where he had tried to catch himself. Caelin willed himself not to cry, sitting up and resting his back against the wall.

"Why...w-why did you do that Father..?" the boy said shakily, his bloody lip trembling. "I h-hate it when you do t-that.." Caelin burst into sad, little tears. He was still too distraught to follow Keanu just yet.

The Elf looked down on him, his sharp, angular features making his glance look even more harsh. "You deserved it. You will not talk back to me as you are my equal. When you are grown and a father you will expect the same from your children" he said matter-of-factly.

"Get up and go wash up, then come join me and your mother for breakfast" he said finally, not giving him another chance to speak. A small part of him hated doing this, but he had a reputation to protect as a leader and he couldn't be losing that because his sons were rampant little demons who listened to no one.

He cut three pieces of bread and placed them on wooden plates, getting out the sugar butter to spread on them.

Keanu had finally realized how hungry he was when his stomach growled angrily, wanting food. He still kept worrying about Caelin, thinking his father might truly hurt him, and however much he wanted to he couldn't hit him, that would get him banished and he couldn't do that to Caelin.

He pulled out a blanket he had taken and pulled it over him, using his bag as a pillow as he waited for his brother to find a chance to get away, maybe he would bring him food or another blanket. Even in the summer it got pretty cold at night.

Caelin's wrist was almost immobile by now. A firy red hand mark still stung his face. He regretted saying what he did, though he hadn't meant it in a disrespectful manner.

Still crying, the boy rose to his feet and punched his Father hard in the back, feeling his small fist connect powerfully with his spine. "I hate you!!" he screamed, pushing the food off the table, then running out the door.

Mother gasped as she entered the room. "What's going on??"

Caelin ran through the front yard, his boots brushing the wild flowers. His face was wet with angry tears, and his body hurt. He would not stay here, he would find Keanu.

Father turned, glowering with anger as he was punched, letting the little brat run off. He would be back when he got hungry. He turned to see his wife "your children have lost all their sense. Maybe we should just start over" he said, already ignoring the fact that neither of his children were in the house. He wrapped his arm around his wife, kissing her neck "you know, we haven't been alone in a while."

Keanu had woken several times and once he woke to the sound of tears. He climbed out and saw Caelin running, grabbing him and taking him into his arms, crying himself when he held him. He kissed his face and let a hand gently touch the now forming bruise. He lifted up the boy and put him in their tree, laying down and snuggling with him, holding him close to his chest.

Mother's reaction to hitting her child then asking for affection? SLAP.

Caelin curled up in his brother's arms, letting out a loud sob. "I-I'm sorry Keanu, I really wasn't going to eat a-anything before you guys. I'm sorry...ouch. M-my wrists h-hurts.."

The boy held his hand close, the joint turning blue. Tears coursed down his face. "B-but...I punched him for you..." Caelin half-smiled, then turning away as blood trickled from his lip.

"I know you weren't. He's just a jerk" he said point-blank. He wiped off Caelin's lip, he probably had just bitten it during his fall. He looked at the boys wrist and found two flat pieces of wood, put on on each side and tied it with leaves and a vine. "This should hold it until I can get something better" he told him, bringing him close and kissing his forehead.

He opened his mouth and frowned "you shouldn't have done that Caelin" was all he said, looking distant for a while before speaking again "you have to go back to them you know" he said calmly, wiping the tears off his face and petting his hair lightly.

"I love you Caelin but you have to go back, i'll work to see you whenever I can but if you come with me then it'll be considered kidnapping and then i'll never get to see you again."

"I know.." Caelin sighed. "It's okay though..we can still go swimming..and play."

He pulled a piece of bread from his pocket. "Here you go Keanu. I can bring you more, since you don't think you can go back." Caelin hugged the other elf and handed the bread to him. The mark on his face was still present, but it no longer stung. It was amazing that anyone could ever harm such a thing so pure.

"I have to go now Keanu, but I'll be back, okay?"

"Of course we can" he agreed, holding the back of Caelin's head while he kissed his forehead. He looked at the still visible handprint on the side of his face and a new hatred rose up inside of him, a protective side that was greater than just the protective spirit of a brother, it was more like that of a lover when males fought for dominance.

He took the bread with a smile and hugged him closely "thank you so much Caelin, maybe you could sneak a blanket out sometime. Or just come find me when father leaves and I can come back home, I don't think mother wants me gone."

He leaned forward when he said he had to go and kissed him on the lips, making an over dramatic face "shhh, that's our little secret" he said, laughing a little as if he were trying to be sneaky.

"No, Mother would never want you to leave. She loves you a lot, like I do." Caelin nodded. He giggled and turned away shyly when Keanu kissed him. "I wont tell anyone, I promise."

The small boy climbed down from the tree and set off into the meadow to collect some white and yellow wildflowers. He carefully laced them all together in a ring by their steams, then set off toward the house. His home was very quiet when he entered.

"Father..?" Caelin said softly, peeking into his study to find him there, sitting in silence. The young elf went to his desk where he was and very gently set the ring of flowers down next to him; it was an elven custom to make a ring in apology or for the sick.

"I'm sorry for hitting you like that. I wish I hadn't." Caelin said kindly, his eyelashes batting sweetly. "And for talking back." It was unlike Father to still be fuming, but it was very like him to continue punishment with a calm face. He just prayed he wouldn't be spanked;he hated that. Although, that was better than violence.

"I won't do it again, I promise. I'm sorry Father. I love you."

Even though Father had hit him first, the boy still felt bad. He had never struck anyone before. And he still very much loved Father. Getting Caelin to hate you was very difficult.

Keanu smiled gently and hugged him tightly, kissing his forehead "good boy." He watched him go and sighed sadly "I love you Caelin."

Caelin's father had relaxed much more by the time he had arrived and put the ring of flowers on his desk.

He watched as the small boy spoke, and apologized for his actions. He drew him into his arms and sat him on his lap, stroking his hair as he hugged him.

"I know you're sorry, it isn't like you to do something like that. I forgive you sweetheart" he whispered. The only times anyone had ever seen him be so loving was with his second child, which is why it was such a shock that he had hit him in the first place.

"I'm sorry too, Caelin. I let myself get out of control and I hope I didn't hurt you too badly, do you want to get a treat later or something? "

Caelin snuggled into his Father's arms, all fear and hurt dissapating. He had taken the brace off and wrapped a bit of cloth around his wrist as to make it less obvious. He didn't want Father to feel bad.

"That's okay Father, I don't need a treat. I just wonder if...well..." the boy sighed, his eyes sad. He pushed a golden strand behind his small, pointed ear. "Are you and Keanu still mad at each other..? Do you think he'll come back..?"

Caelin held onto Father's arm gently. He wasn't going to let his earlier visit be known.

"I don't know Caelin. He hasn't been very respectful to his parents" he advised him, his eyes gentle. "He is also growing up. He wants to make his own decisions and doesn't want to live by mine and your Mother's rules. It happens to everybody, it'll happen to you too. When it does happen it means that it's time to move away and make a life for yourself, it's just a part of growing up" he told his easily, knowing how attached the two boys were.

Even though he was strict and could seem hateful, being around Caelin without Keanu in the picture made him a little more secure. He knew Keanu was gay. He had known since the boy was three. However, no prominent Elven man wanted a gay son, they wouldn't carry on the gene pool so he was thrilled at the fact that they had had another son.

He kissed the young boys forehead and put him on the ground "go play, Caito came by and said they were going to play ball and wanted you to go" he told him, patting his butt and sighing the sigh of a Father who cared about his children more than they themselves could ever know.

"I understand Father.." Caelin nodded, slipping from his Father's lap. "I'll go play, but I'll be back in time for dinner, and I'll take a bath."

The boy smiled and kissed his Father's cheek, his own no longer stinging. He grabbed a fresh loaf of bread, a little money, and two blankets before running off, wrapping everything in the largest blanket.

Caelin skipped all the way to his brother's tree, wildflowers and soft grass brushing his legs. Caito's game would have to wait.

"Keanu, Keanu!" the small elf called, climbing up the side of the large oak with difficulty. "I brought some things, can you help me..?" His wrist throbbed slightly from the strain of holding on.
